This Girl is on Fire! No, really
continuation from other thread
oct. 27
She panted, her chest heaved. She was panicking, she didn't know what to do. The person she thought was her friend had set her on fire. And it burned, inside and out. She winced as the fire spread. It started at her skirt, but now her leg seemed to be screaming in pain. "Help!" She gasped, trying to yell. She didn't know the spell to put out the fire. Nor did she remember to stop drop and roll at this point. How could Cody do this to her? What had she done to him besides get annoyed? "Someone please help! My- my skirt- my leg" She tried to put out the fire on her skirt with her hands, but it was a fail.
She winced once more, wishing for someone, anyone. She couldn't be on fire forever... it had to go out at one point, right? But she wasn't sure she could wait that long. "Tony!" She tried, but her brother wasn't outside at the moment. She was in serious trouble. Even if someone came, she wasn't sure she would ever tell anyone who did this to her. She didn't want to be a snitch. She wanted to get Cody back on her own.
She tripped and tried once more to brush the fire out or something, tears streaming down her face. "My skirt is on FIRE please! HELP! Now she understood why her parents warned her to stay away from the fire when they made smores. She always thought it was pretty, but it hurts.

This Girl is on Fire! No, really
@Juniper KellyClasses were finished, homework done and Samantha was outside with her friends. Socializing and hanging out with friends was a daily activity for the young girl. She loved chatting about everything with her friends, but only after she finished all her schoolwork of course. School came before having fun. Luckily for Sam, she found school really easy and had lots of free time.
The brunette heard somebody yell for a boy names Tony, but ignored it and chatted on with her friends. It was only when she heard the word fire that she quickly got up and made her way to the student that was yelling for help. What had happend? Fire? Where was fire? She left her friends behind and ran towards the scream for help.
At first Samantha's eyes were draw to the red hair of the girl, before she realized that it was hair and no fire. The fire was lower, it was burning the skirt of the girl who had yelled for help. There was no time to figure out how this girl had gotten set on fire, the most important thing was to stop the fire.
She quickly got her wand out of her bag and pointed it at the other girl. "Extinguo," she yelled while drawing an arrow like figure with her wand. A silver mist came out of her wand and made its way towards the fire to extinguishing it. Samantha was extremely happy that she pays attention in classes, because otherwise she might have failed the spell and would not have been able to help the girl.
Once the fire stopped Samantha ran towards the girl and gently placed her hand on the back of the unknown girl. "Are you okay?" Sam hoped she had been on time and the other girl wasn't hurt.

This Girl is on Fire! No, really
In her state, she couldn't help but think very dramatic thoughts. Oh gosh! I'm on fire and I'm gonna die! This is how I'm gonna die! Not even heroically! She felt hopeless. no one will remember me! She once again tried to blow the flames out but it was a failed attempt. She wasn't expecting it to work but she really was desperate. I can rip my skirt maybe? But she could accidentally rip too much of the skirt off and burn her hands in the process. It seemed she was trapped in a bad situation and she didn't know what to do.
"Helpp" She tried again, sweat forming on her forehead. If this is how she would end, would anyone find her? Or was she so small that people would walk by. Through half-closed eyes, she saw an angel. Am I dyinggg? She looked closer. Wait, it wasn't angle. Was it? "Am I dying?" She whispered. Yes, she was being very dramatic here. She heard the girl yell something... what was it? Juniper was sure she heard it before.
Soon the burning heat seemed to fade. Juniper blinked her eyes, looked at the place where the fire was. It was gone and she was still alive! I'm alive! She checked her arms and legs. Not dead. She turned to her savior, who asked if she was okay. "Well now I know how marshmallows feel." Was her answer.
Juniper lifted up the burned end of her skirt slightly to inspect her leg. "Thank you." She gasped. "Thank you so much" She couldn't believe this happened to her, but she was glad this girl was around to hear her cries for help.
"I am never going to think of fire the same way again."

@Juniper KellyThe other girl luckily could still talk and joke around, which was a great relieve for Samantha. She smiled as the other girl made the comment about marshmallows and thanked her. "There is no need to thank me," after she only did what everybody would do by helping, "just don't be on fire next time I see you." She smiled, she didn't think the girl had wanted to be on fire in the first place.
"That's understandable, but how did you get on fire in the first place?" Samantha couldn't really think of a logical explanation why a first year would be on fire. It just didn't make any sense. She had easily gone through her first year without being on fire, or setting anybody else aflame.
She had never been on fire herself, but she did know what you had to do once you were on fire and was happy to share her knowledge even though nobody had asked for it. "Next time you are on fire, well I hope you will never be on fire again, but that is besides the point, you should stop, drop and roll, okay? That way you can stop the fire." She shared thinking she was really wise.

"Well I DEFINITELY think that you SAVING my LIFE calls for a need to thank you!" She exclaimed a bit loudly. Juniper was shocked that the girl had just said that. Maybe she saved people from fire all the time, that would explain her calmness. Juniper, out of habit, reached down for her pocket. Then she remembered she was wearing a skirt, ugh. "Of course the one day I wear a skirt instead of my usual candy-filled pocketed jeans is the one day I get saved from being on fire." She said apologetically.
She thought for a moment. "Well, I do owe you big time, that's for sure."
She smiled, of course, she wouldn't be on fire again. Hopefully, at least. She had no desire to become a living marshmallow before she even got to become famous. "Oh, believe me, I WON'T." She said seriously. Then came the question. Juniper grabbed some grass in her hands, picking it from the ground. "Long story. " She pondered for a moment. Im just so hot that the universe couldn't stand it." She joked before getting serious. "Actually, I got into an argument with someone, and he cast a lot of spells and so did I, but then he set me on fire and I ran. The end." She brushed her hair with her hands, remembering how he threw popcorn at her. A few pieces fell into her hand, and she offered it to the girl (jokingly) "Popcorn?" No? " She shrugged and popped it into her mouth.
Then Samantha pointed out the obvious, leaving Juniper feeling silly. "Pfft, I knew that! I just-" She tilted her chin. "... Forgot." She couldn't believe she forgot that important rule that her parents and teachers taught her. Stop, drop, and roll. Of course! How very silly of her to forget.

@Juniper KellyThe red-haired girl was sure that she needed to thank Samantha. When the girl motioned candy, Samantha's eyes began to shine. But as soon as it became clear to the brunette that she won't get any candy the twinkle disappeared from her eyes. "Candy would have been great," she said disappointed. "Maybe next time," she gave the other girl a little smile.
Samantha loved long stories. She always told long stories herself, so it would be unfair if she didn't listen to others. She was extremely curious how the other girl had gotten herself into this mess, and at first, didn't realize the girl was joking about being too hot for the universe. After a few seconds, Samantha finally understood it was a joke. "Well I am sorry for making you less hot then. I could set you on fire and make you hot again." she said jokingly. Even though she was joking she wanted to know what had happened.
"You what?!" Samantha said in shock. Did this kid just break the rules and duel with somebody? "Why would you do that? First of all, it is dangerous. Secondly, which is the most important part, it is against the rules!" She shook her head. "You could have seriously gotten hurt, you were even set on fire. There are better ways to argue than throwing spells at each other. If you do want to set people on fire, join the dueling club." The brunette shamelessly advertised for the dueling club, while giving the other girl a piece of her mind. "Tell the person you argued with that too, let's keep the dueling in the dueling club."
This girl was weird... She had popcorn in her hair? Samantha was to0 surprised to react to the offer before the girl had already eaten the popcorn. "Where did that come from?" she asked surprised. "Also, what's your name?"
