Appearance: Long blonde hair, blue eyes and a clear complexion. Thick pillowy lips and a feminine form, Marion can easily be described as beautiful. She never had a difficult time attracting friends and potential suitors. However, this appearance is a lie. At least for those that know the present Marion. The real Marion Davenport died years ago, the victim of Vladimir Athanatos' jealousy and the terrible curse that ravaged her body. A deal was made with hags to restore Marion to life but what the hags resurrected was not human. A hag that took on Marion's appearance replaced the girl seamlessly. It was not hard, the girl was a relative unknown, her parents mere muggles who had little knowledge of the wizarding world. Marion maintains a carefully manicured appearance that would make her appear vain.

Personality: In life, Marion was an ambitious little girl. She always wanted to be something more than what she was when she was born. While she was not blessed with wealth or with a powerful bloodline, she was naturally pretty. With pleasant facial features and a talent for the application of make-up as well as the fashion sense to make the most of her assets, vanity was her ally at the expense of other things people would find important. She spent her time studying fashion, dance moves and how to 'get your man' by reading her bible- Cosmo.

That was the late Marion Davenport, a girl that was as shallow as a parking lot mudpuddle. She died in a rather forgettable manner, the victim of a love triangle as her ambition took advantage of the hormones of a pair of Slytherin rivals. The creature that replaced her was also vain, there was always a carnal sin in association with a hag. She is also cruel, vindictive and manipulative. She had spent the past few years playing Victor and Vladimir against one another, much like her predecessor but more than that she was manipulating the men in her life, the tiresome white knights to rush to their damsel's aide without a thought.

History: Marion was born to a squib and muggle. Her mother was a squib, she came from a nice wizarding family in England but she had no magic and once it was apparent that magic skipped a generation there was no need for Marion's mother to remain in a magical household. Their influence was minimal and what little contact she had with them was after she was admitted to Hogwarts. Her Aunt and Uncle do make regular efforts to see Marion presently but no so much Marion's mother. Marion never spoke up but she did feel guilt and frustration for the sake of her mother but saw the influence and knowledge her aunt and uncle offered outweighed her moral outrage.

Her father was a muggle, he worked for a bank. There was a remote thread of magical blood on her father's side as well, her father's great great great grandfather was a wizard too. The unoin of two squib lines created Marion Davenport.

Her first instance of accidental underaged wandless magic was when she was four. She was at the zoo and she was at a polar bear exhibit. Young Marion was fascinated by the big fuzzy bears and next thing she knew the glass was gone and she fell inside. The zookeepers were able to get her out, she was stressed but she was unharmed. Her mother recognized Marion's magic right away. Her father has never seen magic but he was aware enough to understand what had happened.

Her childhood was rather routine for a muggle. With a modicum of wizarding knowledge owed by her parents, stories and legacies passed down to her she was well-aware of the blood caste. It never felt right or fair, for this reason she was always outspoken about her value at home but knew her greatest asset would be her appearance. Her best chance in the wizarding world was to marry a wizard. That was the plan, find a wizard and twist him around her finger. Something that she should have achieved and had, the only issue being the reckless jealousy of her suitors would ultimately cost Marion her life.

Marion had gained the affections of two boys-- Vladimir Athanatos and Victor Moore, a pureblood with a silver spoon in his mouth from birth and Victor a wizard-born that had problems of his own. She resented Vladimir for his blood, his familial power and his pride. She strung him along because she could and she enjoyed watching Victor creatively make Vladimir suffer. She should have thought twice before she decided to play with a young man's heart. On a date with Victor, their first official one at the fringe of the forbidden wood, it was a date that was going as well as one should. Perhaps she should not have 'unintentionally' let it slip that she was going on a date and where but she did. She had no idea Vladimir would try to break up their rendezvous. She had no idea that in a fit of jealousy he would make a selfish deal, inflict upon her and Victor both a curse that would ultimately take their lives a short time later.

The darkness came and overwhelmed them, she only remembered the waves of pain and the screaming that was her own but it was so intense she thought the cries belonged to another. Without a cure, in spite of the fact that Vladimir played the role of hero, it was only a matter of time before she and Victor both would fall victim to their wounds. The darkness had spread to their hearts and took their lives. The thick golden potion cure was discovered too late but it did prolong their suffering by several months.

She died, as did Victor. Yet what replaced them differed. She was replaced with a hag. One of the two covens that infected this school. Marions old affiliations, such as her association with SCAR would fall to the hag. Her relationship with Vladimir and with what replaced Victor would be carried on also.
