October 27th

Upon recieving the owl by his bestest of friends, Juniper, he smiled. He wrote a letter to Juniper specifically, assuming she was already in the grounds... whether she knew or did not know if that was where Cody was going.

Cody smirked, wrote three words on the letter- without signing his name.

He was someone who would only sign his name if he had to respond to Freddy, otherwise, its a NO GO. The young part goblin slid on his jeans, tucked in his white and frilly shirt, and brushed his hair off to the side, while grabbing his grandmother's necklace made of gold and had a face on it, and a tourmaline embedded ring. He was going to stand out, even if there was no one there.

Walking out to the Grounds was rather odd. House Elves around his size, some taller, was running bowls of popcorn back and forth. Why? Cody reached into one of the bowls of popcorn, grabbed a handful, and dropped kernel by kernel into his mouth, feeling the buttery flavor explode in his mouth.

He came across Juniper sitting with two bowls of popcorn in her hands.

"HEY!" Sure, Cody still suspected Juniper as she was short, but he tried his hardest not to express his suspicions. Rumors were, there were werewolves at Hogwarts, but yet, Cody hasn't came across any! Then again, if he did, they might see him as a tasty snack.

Cody knew that Juniper was only several inches taller than he was, making him the, apparently, shortest student at Hogwarts. There might be a student smaller than three foot ten inches, but that depended on whether Cody would come across the kid.

"So, what do you need me for?" Cody asked rather innocently, with his eyes glinting with a suspicious expression that told of him planning chaos. Doesn't mean he knew of the chaos at the moment of course. It was just something that occurred... rather often.

Oct. 27

Juni needn't wait long, thankfully, because with a squint of her eyes she could see her tiny friend approaching. She was only a couple of inches taller than him, cause he was fricken short. But at least she was taller then someone, right? She sat up as he got closer and she smiled at him. It was nice to see her friend after a stressful week, and talking with him might make it better. "Cody! yay, it's nice to see you, you have no idea haha!" She patted the grass next to her. "Don't you wanna sit?" She asked watching her friend.

She grabbed the second bowl of popcorn. "Uh... just to hang out I guess! Like talk ya know? Classes stink! This week I got so much homework..." She handed Cody the bowl. "This is for you, by the way. I asked for butter on them, but I also kinda like cheesy popcorn, So..." She put her cheesy popcorn in her mouth, savoring the taste. One thing about Juni, she loved cheese. Like, a lot.

She looked at Cody's eyes. Chaos eyes... Her mind complained. She shook the thought away. It was annoying her. She didn't need to be more annoyed than she already was. "So anyways what's up with ya, Cody?" She asked, clearly enjoying her snack.

October 27th

Cody didn't know why, but it was rather immersing. He got a bowl of popcorn, butter it seemed.

"Nah, sitting seems so-" The young part goblin gave it a little thought. He immediately realized that he didn't want to stand for all of eternity, at least, thats how it felt sitting in the classrooms. Granted, Cody loved the classes, but he thought the lengths of them were too long. Maybe the Professors enjoyed teaching little boys and girls so much, the time speeds past for them, especially for one Professor Wade, the Professor of Transfiguration. He seemed to be so sarcastic in all of his lessons, and that was what Cody loved.

"At least you got some decent homework. I had to write a ridiculous amount of foot-long essays. That was horrendous!" Cody exclaimed. But never mind his little insulted heart. Ai, its true, the boy gets insulted easily. But for some reason, Juniper didn't push him as far as he would break.

Cody grabbed a handful of the buttered popcorn, walked up to Juniper, and threw that handful at her. "Maybe this will take your mind off of the homework. After all, it was rather hard for me, and I don't study!"

Juni looked at her friend curiously. "Seems so what? You can't stand foreverrr that's like, super long.." She said. Cody drifted off, not really seeming to have an answer to his own statement. Juni laughed since Cody didn't know. It felt nice to laugh since laughing during class wasn't appreciated. Which stinks. Which is also why she needed a brake! She could laugh with Cody.

"Huh? really? I got some essays but not sooo long!" She exclaimed, eating more popcorn. "But I guess you're right if you get that much homework!" She shrugged.

She did feel bad for Cody, having to write that much! a foot long essay is pretty much 1/3 of his height. Wow, imagine that. She looked down at her bowl realizing she was almost finished. She didn't realize Cody had picked up his bowl and formed a plan.

He tossed the popcorn all over Juni, and she gasped. He meant well, but she was just straight-up annoyed at this point. "Cody! What the heck?! Seriously?" She got up and brushed the popcorn off herself angrily. "Know when to stop!" She yelled. She still had some popcorn in her hair, but the popcorn she managed to pick off were in her hand. She shoved the handful of popcorn into Cody's chest.

The part goblin, as he wanted everyone to know, then again, there are several people that seem to think of him as a gremlin, a troll, or a boogeyman. CODY WASN'T UGLY, but it seemed to be how the people looked at him. He glared at the girl, not trying to be mean, but she was taking offence to something HE thought he could push out of the way. That was horrible. Well, if the small girl was going to shove popcorn against his chest, he would retaliate.

"You want to fight? I tried to be nice, I wasn't going to be crude, or mean, but yet, it seems thats the way we have to go today. So, what do you say, we have a duel?" Cody responded, his eyes glinting evilly. Well, in a way. He felt smart, was he actually smart for challenging his best friend, and finding that would be a way to liven the mood? To prove that she was wrong? Well, he could've done gobstones, but the boy was someone who would take it to the next level.

Giving the girl a minute, he eyed her suspiciously. Was she really going to be cruel to Cody? Cody was supposed to be the EVIL side in that relationship, to inflict terror, or at least, that was what he thought he was doing until he realized the mean things that people think about him. That made him snort. "So? We playing or not?"

Her nostrils flared showing her anger. You know all sides of Juni but one, Cody. Cody meet stubborn Juni. The girl who gets annoyed easily, she's a great wild fire. You've seen her, but now the fire is on you. Cody seemed shocked that Juni would dare shove the popcorn back at him. "Ohh, yes how dare I?" She hissed. "Yes, Cody! Don't look so surprised! I WILL shove popcorn on you!" She snapped at her friend. Or, ex-friend at this point. All she wanted to do was make Cody feel the way she did right now. She wanted him to burn on the inside.

Do I wanna fight? She asked herself, but she knew the answer. She cracked her knuckles. "Cody I could beat you up no problem!" She wanred her... ex friend. Or whatever. She walked towards him and japped him in the chest with her finger. "NO! You NEVER try and play nice! It's always chaos chaos chaos! Can't I have a break!? She yelled.

Cody was acting as if he were the victim. That pissed Juni off more than anything. He was seriously gonna try and hurt her? His first friend? The first one stupid enough to hang out with him?

She had turned to leave, getting ready to ignore him. But he was sort of teasing her. She turned around quickly and walked towards him quickly, then once he was against the tree, she whipped out her wand and pointed at him. "Try me Stevenson" She hissed. She brought herself to her full height.

Growling, the boy was forced back against a tree. Juniper's wand was drawn, but unfortunately for her, so was his. If she wanted to fight. They'll fight. Death to those who are cruel to him. That much should be agreed upon, then again, he didn't want to be as bad as Tom Riddle was. He wanted to be infamous, but not nearly as awful.

Apparently Juniper seemed to make herself an inch taller. Cody thought of something, something that might work. A desperate laugh escaped his lips. He wanted to do something to the girl, something that she might not like. The Sneezing Hex. It was simple as that, wasn't it?

"STÉ-lee-us!" The short boy cried out, his mouth screaming. As he did so, he pointed his wand downwards then quickly flicked it towards the slightly taller girl.

"You simply and seemingly sarcastically asked me to... try it. So, I did!" He hoped the effect was amazing, the boy desperately wanted to avoid being struck down with a dancing or fire spell, as they seemed so... awful. It... went off, as if it missed the girl. (I rolled a one on my accuracy)

The boy screamed. He felt doomed. He probably should've practiced his spellcasting more, rather than running away from homework, but then again, who could truly blame him for evading homework?
The boy sneezed, as it seemed the spell backfired. (-4 wisdom to self, -2 accuracy to self)

Never in her wildest of dreams would she of thought that Cody would have his wand pointed at her, to hurt her. But Juni didn;t care. She had him! He was cornered with a wand facing him. of course, he had his wand out too, but Juni didn't care. SHe was ready to see if Cody would keep this going. She didn't want to be the first to cast. No matter how mad she was because she didn't want to started throwing spells. She didn't want it to be her fault.

She glared at him angrily, then lowered her wand. She turned away, but heard him mutter something. Of course it would be him who cast the first spell! She gasped angrily and moved dropped to the ground, hearing the spell he intended to cast. But she didn;t need to. His spell backfired, and she smirked.

SHe was a little offended at his words. "Look who's talking!" She yelled. His spell backfired horribly, and she laughed at his weakness.

She was angry. "ta-RON-ta-LEG-gra!" Every ounce of her focused on this, and she did the movement. Soon Cody would be dancing. She would then leave him alone. She turned angrily. "and for the record... im NOT going to the ball with you."

Cody staggered. Why wouldn't he? His Stelus spell backfired, of course it did, and he was hit with the Dancing Feet spell. He sighed. He was apparently trapped with doing happy jigs, and he felt that it was harder to even evade anything. Sighing, the boy frowned. He grabbed out his wand, sneezing in rhythm as his feet tapped the ground.

A snort left the boy's nose. He was pissed. He failed his first spell, was he really destined to be horrible? His arms began getting a little shaky, his eyes were wobbling all over the place, his wand didn't seem to point towards Juniper as he originally planned.

"You really want to do this Page?" Cody asked, his eyes tearing up. "What did I do to earn the fact of you not going to the Ball with me?" He heaved heavily.

Making a slope downward with his wand, then jerking up at an angle towards the right, then making a small inverted bump, he considered doing the flipendo spell, but ended up leaving the wand movement lingering in the air. He sobbed as he didn't cast Flipendo on her, but considered something that probably would help. Instead, the boy used

A heavy sigh left the boy's chest, and then his heart throbbed. Ai, such a sad feeling when you have your best friend deny you someone to go to the Fall Ball with, and would take great offence at something you thought would cheer her up. The girl seemed to be leaving, and so the boy jumped in front of her, his wand pointed at her.

At last, he decided on a spell that could hit her in return, just for embarrassing the boy, and he groaned. He made the wand movement, now it was time to talk. "ta-RON-ta-LEG-gra!" The itty bitty boy screamed, in the middle of his dancing, and his sneezing.

He happily grinned at the thought of the spell hitting. Better than what he did last time. He thought casting spells would be more difficult when it's hard to aim accurately.
