"I think she's still thinking about how to move the Pawn" She commented thoughtfully.
Her eyes stared at Noami, now she was distracted by her chess game. She pursed her lips at the girl's comment, and again she had forgotten to introduce herself "Nice, I'm Abigail, but you can call me Abi." She smiled showing her teeth.
Upon hearing the comment about her half-brother, his smile disappeared for a while. She frowned, indignant.
"I don't think he's avoiding you. He needs some time alone." she commented.
Abi had noticed that the girl didn't seem to move the pawn, but decided to wait. After all, one of man's virtues is knowing how to wait.
She ran her hand over her neck, a little anxious, she wanted to end the game soon. Abi had things to do.
Her books were waiting for her, as were her sweets and homework.
She decided to move her eyes to Naomi for a few seconds and asked her something "Do you like wizard chess too? Do you know how to play?" She asked, with eagerly curious looks at Naomi.
Now Abi was bored, this was notable for her tired and disgusted expression.

Wizard Chess
The boy, well, part goblin, loved to reveal that he really did come from a Goblin heritage. But did every part goblins love to do so? No. That was extremely unlikely, and to be fair, there was only one difference from human children and part goblin children. Their size- well it was true for adults too. But Cody WAS a child. A reckless and stupid child anyways.
"Yo. Bro, this is really rad. Well- I could just topple the table, butttttt SOMEONE asked for me to be in here! I got a written owl about it! Someone... who goes to school here. The letter simply stated that I had to be in here right away for a competition of a sort. I kinda figured that Cody would fit, but--- now all I see is a Wizard Chessboard."
Cody sighed, he wasn't a big fan of Wizards Chess, and he knew he had to play against another girl at that table who was just watching the game right now. (Naomi) If any pieces were to break, Cody knew the Reparing Charm. (Reparo)
Granted, he wasn't a big fan of silly repairs. Fixing a Wizard's Chesspiece was aggrivating, like trying to catch a wild Chocolate Frog. Who would be menacing enough to do that?
"Aww hell, don't take offence to this, Brown Haired Ravenclaw, (Naomi) but I think I'll trump you. Especially if I can cheat!" Cody laughed, his menacing giggles overloaded the "system" where his joy for fun went. It was competition mode now. And if he was on the team on the Road to Victory, he would continue to cheat all he can. He was a liar, a cheat, and someone who would make you embarrassed to call your own. Except for a few good friends. But now, Cody was getting a little ticked off, a little... angry.
He looked at Clair, interrupting this match. "You git. Don't lose. I bet two galleons on you, and I expect to see twice as much." Ok, the part goblin lied, of course, but was that really a surprise. Was it really?
Now looking at Abigail, his eyes red as if on fire. "You. Did YOU call me down here? WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING DOWN HERE? I normally don't study, but rumors are, since I came here to Hogwarts, we have OWLs. I WANT TO PASS!" The boy hissed, yelling, in his American accent.
The boy was being very rude, and well, even those who hate him with all their guts, can't blame him.

Talking: How are you? (nothing)
Thinking: Man, this guy is stupid. (italic)
Abigail just listened to Cody's complaints, keeping quiet and silent. She was waiting for Claire's next move, and in the meantime she preferred to stare at Cody with a dark and eerily calm look.
She chose not to answer, it was no use answering Cody's idiocies. Anyway, it was her fault that she called to see her Wizard Chess match.
"Great, now it's a bet" thought Abigail, as she looked at Claire for any sign of concentration or reaction to Cody's words, nothing.
She was irritated by the boy's words, but kept her mask calm so as not to lose her composure. She bit the inside of her cheek, eager for her turn. Even if it wasn't, she had to wait.
Being a quiet girl, she didn't like nonsense like that. Mainly from people who disturbed her (like her brothers for example)
The young girl took the time to be able to hide her little anger and distract herself from chess.
"The Wizard Chess is taking a long time is it?" she commented.
Jeez, this is really taking forever!

Clair had been thinking hard about her next move,
"pawn H7" she said smiling,
the Cody boy was driving her nuts and she was getting annoyed at him,
Clair held her mask of happiness, but inside she felt like yelling, the game was long and the boy was annoying her, she smiled at Abi, "Umm, can we take this somewhere else? away from Him?" she felt rude and hoped he was not hurt by her words, she liked the two other girls, but the boy was a big fat NO.
Clair rolled her eyes when he talked about OWLs, and how he wanted to pass, 'so what? study if you want to pass', she thought she felt rude thinking this and tried to stop thinking this, but jeez! really!
she looked at Naomi and Abi, them smiled, 'keep calm don't blow up!' she reminded herself with all her might, she was glad Cody was not in her house! looking back to the board she sighed, this was a tiring game and she was getting tired, "yeah it is long." she agreed when Abi said that the game was a long one, she was getting bored and wanted to get back to studying, or reading a book.

She looked at the paws so much that she had lost track of time, and it was clear that Abi didn't like that boy, now all she could do was just agree with Claire's decision.
"Oh sure! let me just get all this." Abi said softly, she took all the pieces and put them into the little boxes and carried them to another corner of the Gryffindor table.
"I know, I'm not a Cody fan either." she commented quietly so that no one could hear as she placed the board on the table, now farther away from the boy. Abigail started putting all the pieces in place just as they had moved, Abi had a good memory indeed, but not enough to remember homework. She whispered a little "Alright...Well..."
"Pawn to J4" The pawn moved forward once more.
She crossed her arms and looked at Claire.
"Ehn. Looks like we're not making much progress, huh?" she giggled, with a smirk.
She remembered once again how bad it was at playing wizard chess, she played with her brothers but always ended up losing. what a tragedy.
"Then do you want to play another game?" she asked, looking into the girl's eyes.
