Hand in hand with her dear mam, she walked down the streets of diagon alley. "Mam, I don't get where we're going. Can't you just tell me?" They had already done all their shopping. She looked around, curious and confused. Her mother, short in all her glory, walked with a purpose. "You will see... once we get there, of course. " Juni looked around. "But... can I have a hint... please?" She begged. Waiting was not something she was so keen on, and nor surprises.

Her mom, only 5 foot, maybe 5 foot 1, wore her favorite coat. It looked like the coats they were in movies that took place in London, but Juni didn't know the name. Juni was pretty sure dad gave it to her or something, because she loved it so much. Speaking of her dad, it wasn't rare that he couldn't be home often. He was in the air force. But her mother was so tough, she was in awe of that.

Of course, with a mom so tough, it was impossible to get anything out of her. Anything. But Juni was going to try anyway. "Mam, please! just tell me! I'm gonna know anyways!" She swung her mom's arm with her hand. Her mom glanced at her daughter, a hint of a smile. But it was so quick, Juni barely noticed. "Exactly. And that is why I don't have to tell you." They turned. Juni sighed loudly. "Noooo" She moaned. Her mother suddenly stopped and turned Juni to face her.

""Serious face." She gasped as her mom put her hands on her shoulders. "Listen, Juni. This is something I really want to show you. And something you must know. About yourself and your history. It's... not a joke sweety." Juni kept her mouth shut and just nodded. She hated when her mom took on that tone. It was the no-monkey business tone.

"So Are you excited?" Her mom asked. Juni decided to speak now. "Uh... for what? This thing you're showing me? Cause I guess so? I don-" Her mom shook her head. "For Hogwarts." She clarified. Juni nodded. "Ooohhhhhh! Yeah! I am super duper excited! Everyone's gonna be sooo nice!" Her mom frowned. "Haha... right? mam? aren't they nice at Hoggy warts?" Her mom looked up and so did Juni.

They were nearing a large building, with the words "Gringotts wizarding bank" on it. "I don't like being back here." Her mom muttered. "Is this where we were going? Where, here?" Her mom looked down at her as if just remembering she was still here. "Oh, no. Just in the wizarding world in general. But this is where we're heading!" Juni raised her eyebrows.

"What does a bank have to do with who I am? That makes no sense.." Her mother walked in with her. Pointing to the desks, she asked "Juni, who are sitting at the desks?" Juni stood on her tip toes to look. They had pointy ears and round heads. They were short. "...elves?" Her moms sighed and shook her head. "No goblins." She waited for juni to connect the dots.

"OMG like the green goblin?" She asked excitedly. Her mom sighed and shook her head. Juni was disappointed. "Then what's so special?" She asked.

"Your grandpa is one. I'm a part-goblin, you know, and so are you. I wanted you to know." Juni's eyes widened. It felt like this was a whole chapter of her life her mom forgot to mention. "Holy crap..." She said. Her mom tugged gently on one of Juni's curls. "Language."

"Sorry." She said, looking around. "So wait, why did yoy say it was bad to be back?" Her mom looked Juni in the eye. "Because students can be cruel. Purebloods and wizard borns will think they are better then you because you aren't full human." Juni considered these words. It was strange to find out she's not even human. She felt like an alien.

"So what do I do? Does that mean I get to punch every bully?" Her mom considered her words. "Keep it to yourself, Juni. For your own good. It will cause to much drama. Promise me." Juni looked away. "Juniper!" She sighed. "Fineee. So was this it?" Her mom took her over to a desk. "Hello, father, you know the vault number. " Juni's jaw dropped open.
