A New Friend PV Oct-2 closed

Clair had woken up before the sun, after living on a farm it was hard to sleep in passed 5:30 am, she sighed and left her dorm, why stay inside, she pulled her school robes around her for some added warmth, sure she liked the cold, but it was still a shock to jump out of a warm bed into the chilly air, she walked outside and into the courtyard, it was nice, quiet and empty, she chose to sit by the water fountain, it was the best place to read a book, she sat down and started to read, she got quite far into the book and was in the ending parts when she seen a girl walking over to the fountain, with Clair being on the other side, the girl would not see her, two thoughts ran into Clair's brain, the prank though I'll hide and jump out and scare her! and the kinder thought I wait here and Not scare her if she comes over I'll be nice Clair went with the second thought, it seemed nicer.
She closed her book and watched the girl, the girl was pretty, Clair felt like she had seen her in the Ravenclaw common room, she smiled hoping she was right.

Emily looked at the water in the fountain. It looked very peaceful. She dipped the tip of her fingers in the water but took them back the moment after, the water was ice cold. The coldness gave her a shiver, and she closed her winter cloak to feel a bit warmer. Nothing felt better than the warmth of a cloak or sheet. Or of course the warmth of a fireplace. She looked around and noticed the girl sitting next to her. She felt like she had seen the girl before, but she was not quite sure about it. The girl seemed to be a Ravenclaw, which she noticed on the House Robes. Which meant she would have probably seen her at the Ravenclaw table, the sorting ceremony or the common room. She grabbed her book and decided to head over to the girl.

"Morning! Would you mind if I join you? A bit sad to sit here all alone isn't it?" She said and smiled. She seated herself down next to the girl and smiled. "My name is Emily, Emily Rosalie Brewer. Yea I know quite a long name right? My parents like to go hard." She said and giggled a bit. She pulled her cloak closer to herself, just to feel a bit warmer, and looked at the girl. She seemed sweet and nice to talk to. "Who are you? And how are you feeling today on this cold morning?" She asked the girl.

Clair watched as the Girl pocked her finger into the Cold water of the fountain, then pull back, Clair smiled the water was very tempting, it called to her to touch it too, if only if was not so cold!

"Why sure!" Clair said, smiling slightly. "I'm afraid it is rather sad to sit out here alone" Clair agreed,
She looked at the Girl, her dark hair, it was so pretty, it reminded Clair of her hair, when it was not dyed Orange/red. she when the girl interduced herself as Emily, Clair smiled
"that is a very nice name!" she said, "I am Clair Fernandez, First year Ravenclaw." she looked down at her book, "I'm reading Sisters Grimm, what about you?" she asked eyeing the book that Emily was holding, she looked back down at her own book, she was reading the second book right now, it was called The Unusual Suspects. even though it was made of younger kids, Clair still was enjoying it, her Sisters had both read the series, and loved it, so when Clair had turned 11 they had given her her own set of the books, she looked back at Emily

Emily smiled at the girl, she really liked her orange/red hair, it suited Clair very well! "Oh I love your name, it sounds so beautiful! And I am a Ravenclaw first year as well!"She said and smiled. She looked down at her book as the girl asked what she was reading. She held an old stuffed book, which had been in her family for decades now. "Oh it's a novel, called "Pride and Prejudice" if had it for ages!" She said. "IF read it a thousand times tho, but I really like the book, if loved it ever since I was a little girl and my mom used to read it for me. It's written by a muggle writer tho, the Autor has amazing books!" She said and looked at her book. "Your book looks lovely as well! I have never read it before but am delighted to read it one day!" she said and smiled. She put her book under her cloak as she felt a drop of rainfall down onto her nose. She turned her concentration back to Clair and smiled. "What are you up to today? Anything special?" She asked the girl. Not knowing what she was about to do herself. she smiled "I love that book! I must have read it a million times by now!" she laughed a little, "some of the best books are written by Muggles, or at least sometimes!" Clair quickly put her book in her Robes because it had started to rain, "I'm not sure! I was thinking of playing a prank on my sister Izzy, but she might not like that!" she looked at Emily "what are you doing today?" she asked, the rain began to splat down worried for her book Clair stood up "I'm going to go inside, Want to come with me?" she offered, she smiled at the girl, "We can do something together if you are free today!" she hopes that Emily was free, it would be great to have a friend to hangout with during the day.

Emily was glad to get to talk to someone, she hadn't talked to anyone really recently, She thought about what Clair asked her, did she have anything to do today? It was a calm Saturday so she had really no idea if she had any. "[color=#0054d]Not at the moment I believe, we could definitely hang out! I do have to finish some homework tonight and of course lunch and supper, but otherwise, I am free! I would love to hang out with you! What are you planning on doing then? Go on a walk or anything? I'm up for anything really![/color]" She said and smiled at Clair. She pulled her cloak more over her head so her hair wouldn't get too wet because of the rain. She had only showered this morning and she wasn't into washing her hair again tonight, because of the rain. "Oh did you hear about the fall ball? Do you have a date yet or? I haven't gotten one, but I might be going with some friends!" She said exciting, personally, she could not wait for the ball, it was only in like a small month but she was already excited and choosing her dress for the ball.

Clair smiled when Emily said that she was free, "I was planning on going for a walk, I am not sure where but we can decide, if you wanted to do something else I'd be willing to do that too!"
Clair was rather easy going, she was not the kind of person to boss others around, she was more likely to be bossed around!
"I heard about it, I don't have a date yet, maybe we could go together." ''as friends!" She quickly added, feeling that it would be weird if she did not say that they would go as friends, if they went.
"if I go I'm going to wear a blue dress That had small pink frills on the edge what are you going to wear?" She asked looking at Emily, Clair wanted to go, but had not found any boys or friends who wanted to go. She had hoped that her Sister would go, it would have given her a chance to talk to her, maybe even convince her to talk to Clair again, Clair smiled, "want to go inside? It's getting very wet out here!" Clair liked the rain, but not everyone did, she did not know if Emily did or not.
