Henry laid on his back on the bottom bunk of his bed, he was alone. He liked it thay way, when he alone it meant he could get lost in his thoughts and remember old memories some that he rather forget but couldn't. Loki, his orange feline laid besides him softly sleeping making the teen smile at his feline, it sometimes amused Henry how opposite the two were and yet whenever he needed it, Loki was there besides him.

Loki stretched his paws out toward Henry, touching his side causing the young teen to smile at him. It was odd that in the wake of all the change he went through over the past few months, he could still rely on some things remaining the same such as his feline being by his side and giving a short meow whenever be needed or want something.

The teen looked up, the top bunk in his view as he stared at it. It was starting to become normal to him that Rose slept there, that they were step siblings now, he was starting to find a routine and sense of normal in his mow large and rather chaotic family.

The teen placed his hands behind his head, he took a breath as he spread upon him finding it strange to think how last year he was living in a cramped Liverpool town home, hardly never saw his father, his elder brother studying in his room to become a auror, and his twin sister; Annabeth how she spent time on her own and didn't want to be bothered.... To that summer where he was living in godric hollow again in a rather large house that housed a library to Henry's happiness and surprise, living with five new step siblings, a step mother, his father who took more time off than ever now, with his brother living in London as a auror and his twin sister now missing.

It was funny how your world can change in a year

The teen thought about finding Rose and reading in the libary with her or exploring godric hollow but decided it was best not to bother the girl as he laid there. On his bed watching memories Flash by his mind's eye.

Henry could have stayed there for hours, he could have if it wasn't for the knock at his door. Henry looked up, remembering he closed it earlier and slept got off his bed smiling to Loki who gave a short meow and stayed where he was.

The teen walked over to the door and opened it to a blonde hair boy; Franklin or Frankie. Henry would have hoped it have been either Rose or Gabe, considering those two were his favorite step siblings and he always enjoyed spending time with them.

The teen smiled at the thought then remember Frankie stood at his door and considered closing it in the boy's face but didn't as he asked" what?" Henry looked at his older step brother wishing he could leave his room as he listened to his words, " I was ask to tell you from mum and Luke that they request your presence," Henry looked at the boy, doubting that either adult used those words and questioned why he had to use large or well mannered words all the time as he spoke" okay, if that's it then you can leave," Henry smiled at the boy and closed the door between them not noticing or rather caring about his response since his two favorite step siblings are Rose and Gabe and the others sort of got on his nerves in different ways.

Henry looked over at Loki who looked back, the two held eye contact for a moment until the feline gave a soft meow. Henry smiled at him and nodded slightly as he spoke" I won't be that long, Loki. Promise," the teen took another smile at his feline before turning back around and opening the door to his room.

Leaving the door opened as he walked into the hall, the blue eyed teen walked downstairs and took a turn into the large living room.

Pearl sat on side of the couch with a book and Luke sat next to her, Henry looked at them and took a guess that they were talking to each other before he arrived. Henry remained standing, he took a few steps back when his father looked at him and moved a bit away from Pearl; his wife before he spoke "Why don't you come have a seat Henry," the teen looked out the window behind the pair as he held his arms over his chest and shook his head replying " I'm fine."

Luke gave his son a slight frown before it disappeared and he held his hands together in front of him, watching Henry as he spoke "I spoke to Arthur about all of this but I know we haven't had a proper conversation in sometime and I wanted to let you know that I'm here for if you wanted to talk about any of it," Henry took another step, his fathers words circled his ears but he didn't care about them because all he could see was passed memories of when his father spent days, even nights away from his family after the night of the attack. The teen held his arms closer to his chest as he spoke" I'm good and I know your trying to be a good father to your five step children, which is great and you definitely should," Henry didn't make eye contact with his friend as he felt his breathing quicken and throat felt like it was closing up as he spoke" but I'm fine, I grew the past few years without a father and don't need one now so can I leave now?" Henry took another step backwards as Luke frown a little and look over at Pearl for a moment before he stood and took a few steps toward Henry.

"Henry, I'm sorry that I couldn't be there for you in the past but understand that I wanted to just was going through things," Luke spoke and tried to looked at Henry's eyes, however the young teen avoided his father's gaze and took another step away from him as he spoke " I don't care, I really don't. Say any excuse you want but I don't care anymore, you weren't there when we needed you and instead left us. That night you lost your wife but we lost both of our parents," Henry was talking about Arthur, Anna, and himself as he avoided eye contact with his father would again took another step closer to Henry as he spoke " I know and I'm sorry, please let me make up the time lost and be the father that you deserve."

Henry felt something tingling within him when he heard those words come from his father. The teen held his arms tighter aginest his chest as his breathing quicken and mind pounded, causing his head to painfully hurt as he spoke "why are you saying this? Do you actually mean it or is this Pearl in your head?" Henry felt his breathing quicken as his chest tighten, the teen directed his blue eyes for the window behind the two adults as Luke spoke "this was my idea and you'll give Pearl the same respect that you give me, since she is your stepmother." Henry kept his eyes away from his father who was looking at him with concern, worried about his son's increased breathing and now shaky standing as he spoke softly, "Henry, please come take a seat," however the teen finally made eye contact with his father, taken back from the look of worry in his face as he spoke "She is nothing to me, just like how you are nothing to me and I don't need you or her. I never did so can I leave now," a pause Henry was planning to address his father by his first name but he couldn't, the feeling was to awkward as he kept his voice leveled not daring to shout and disrupt his step siblings.

"Henry, please I understand that your upset but I want to help so please let me," Luke spoke and put his hand out to Henry who looked down at it before back at his father as he spoke" it is your wife in your head because if you wanted to be there for us then you have done it before and maybe if you were than Anna would still be here and I wouldn't feel like a freak." Henry felt his eyes drift away from his father who looked to Pearl then back at Henry as he walk closer and softly spoke "Henry, this was my idea and I want to help you. You have no idea how I felt when Anna ran away but just know that I'm looking for her and won't stop till I find her." Henry looked at his father, eyes looking at Luke's hand outstretched to him as he took a shakey breath and held his arms to his chest feeling the feet below him feeling uneasy and dizzy.

The teen took a half of step backwards and spoke" maybe Anna had the right idea with running away, you didn't pay attention to use before but once she did then it's all you think about now maybe I should run away to," Henry moved his eyes toward his father as he felt his breathing quicken and a unpleasant feeling crawl up his throat making him want to vomit but he didn't. Instead he stood there, looking at his father's outsreched hand and holding his chest as he heard Luke's voice, "that day that she ran away nearly destroyed me and if something happens to her, to either if you then it probably will so please let me help you," Henry looked at his father in the eyes, making eye contact with the man as he took a breath then spoke "running away actually sounds like a good idea maybe I will do it." Henry looked at the scene in front of him, Luke dropped his outstretched hand and looked down a sorrowful look on his face as Pearl got up and joined her husband side taking his hand as she spoke " Henry, he does want to help. We both do and you should know that we'll both be here for you if you need us."

"I don't need you or him! I don't need anyone," Henry suddenly shouted when he felt a surge of anger and emotion travel through him causing the young teen to shout. It took Henry back for a moment, shouting at his father and step mother who stood standing in front of him.

Henry took a step back as Luke took Pearl's hand in his and looked up about to speak to his son when Henry took a shakey breath and nearly fell taking a step back as he ran up the stairs and into the hallway out of view of bout adults.

Luke made a move to help his son but remained where stood next to Pearl when he watched Henry run up the stairs, the man looked up there for another moment before looking at his wife.

Henry took a breath, he wasn't in the mood to listen to their conversation as he walked back to his room shutting the door where he step inside. The blue eyed teen ran over to his bed and jumped on it, laying on the bottom bunk as he stroked his feline's back still surprised that he shouted at his father since usually that was what his siblings did.
