Summer Camp Adventure
The fourth group would get to work as @Opeila Winters began to climb the stacks of books, whereas @Aurora Ranvier began to search through the different books. @Dealla Prince however had a different approach and instead just checked the door, that was indeed locked and would proceed with an attempt of casting Alohomora DC 11 | [d20:19]+10 → success. With a faint clicking sound, the lock would twist and the door was now unlocked properly. Opeila and Aurora [2d20 : 7,13] would eventually find the key, well Aurora, would at least. On top of the book stack Opeila would find no key, though Alan appreciated her enthusiasm and hoped she wouldn't fall down. Aurora would find the key placed between pages of a book.
As they opened the door it would lead them through a narrow corridor that lead to a square room. A rope hung from the ceiling and seemed thick and sturdy, at each third toward the top was a small ribbon that had a shiny token bound to it. "Please don't use any magic from now on unless specified otherwise, this task is for one of you to do and you can obtain up to three tokens during this task," he would explain. The room was a little dark, but enough to make out the shapes of the surroundings and the tokens itself gave off a soft glow. Any carried oil lamp or lumos would extinguish upon entering this room.
Mod Note:
Congrats, since there isn't really a faster way than magic, I guess you will have gotten a token. The next task is simple, during the rp (you can also discuss this ooc) you choose one person to attempt the rope climb). Each section awards you with one token.

The door clicked open. Well, of course it did. Obviously. Dee hadn't doubted the success of her strategy for even a second.
With a triumphant noise, Dee reached for the handle, yanking the door open decisively. "Door's open, come!" she called behind to her companions, the smug self-satisfaction she felt faintly audible in her voice. Impatience driving her forward, she didn't wait for long before moving into the next room, eager to find the new task for her to out-smart.
Her eyes found the rope dangling from the ceiling immediately, the tokens catching the light, drawing her gaze. The task seemed obvious, and Dee frowned, glancing down at her skinny noodle arms. While she had spent some time climbing the cliffs near her hometown as a kid, that had been two years ago, and it was very different from climbing ropes. More solid, for once. Cliffs couldn't twist between your hands or swing wildly when you tried to climb them. She shuddered. No, climbing ropes was far from an optimal task for her.
But perhaps if the others cast Wingardium Leviosa on the one climbing... With a half-formulated plan in mind, Dee turned, just in time to hear Alan telling them they weren't supposed to use magic. Immediately, Dee's lower lip pushed forward, face morphing into a pout. "But where's the fun in that?" she whined at him.
No use, though. If they wanted to win, they'd have to stick to the rules. She wasn't above using loopholes, but she didn't want to get disqualified. Frowning, Dee examined her team mates, none of which looked much stronger than her. Although... "Aurora, weren't you a Beater on our Quidditch team?" That would mean she should have some strength in her arms... right?

Why didn’t she think of using magic in the wizarding world? The key was pretty much useless because the unlocking charm existed. She was not mad about it, of course, whichever the fastest route to get out of the room the better. Then a voice from one of the older students asking about her quidditch position. “Y-yes? What does it have to do with anything?” Beater. The quidditch position where you have the advantage to beat people up without being in trouble afterwards. Most beaters have extraordinary strength, but not Aurora and her noodle arms. “Oh! OH! SO YOU THINK I AM STRONG?” Let the girl dream to have a big, strong muscular arm in the future. She gave the Ravenclaw prefect the biggest smile ever. “Th-thank you” The long sleeve t-shirt that she wore was rolled up to her elbow, getting ready for her attempt to be the next Tarzan of Hogwarts. “Okay, I am going climb!” If the room was quiet, everyone would be able to hear Aurora sing the ‘I’m gonna swing from the chandelier, from the chandelieeeeer’ as she attempted to climb the rope. It was not the best sounding voice, a little pitchy here and there, especially at the highest note. She had a voice crack, but she kept going until both of her feet touched the ground once more.

@Dealla Prince would eagerly volunteer @Aurora Ranvier for the task and @Opeila Seilun had not voiced any disagreement. It was the soon to be fifth year curious as she watched the determined young girl approach the rope; though strength surely did not seem like her thing; or anyone's of this group really. The prefect watched as the girl's singing voice strained and jumped under the strain of attempting to pull herself up onto the rope. A bit too enthusiastically perhaps (DC15; [d20:6]+5) as the rope wiggled in her grip, seemingly like an eel trying to escape from her as she tried to inch closer to the token, but ultimately lost her hold and landed on the ground, right as she reached the first chorus. The prefect grimaced slightly. "I guess we will move on then?", he offered with a nervous smile. This task seemed to have taken a toll on nearly all groups, but it was okay. People could not win at everything all the time, that wouldn't be any fun!
The boy gave the group a nod and lead them to where seemed to be a small cliff that would connect to the next room. It seemed the only thing that was connecting both ends of the cliff, was a set of monkey bars that were attached above the students heads or a set of turning logs, that would require them to balance over. They shouldn't fear as falling down would allow them to land in a soft pillow landscape that would cushion their fall and allow them to climb up a ladder to the point they were standing right now, allowing for another try at the task.
Mod Note:
This is a Choice Task, to proceed to the next room you may either choose to climb (strength DC12) or balance (evasion DC15) to reach the next room!

Dee blinked, taken aback for a moment by Aurora's incredibly enthusiastic response to her question. Although, yes, that had been the thought behind it, she wasn't certain there was actually any truth to it. Still, no one else seemed very eager, and Dee certainly didn't want to do it, so what did a little encouragement hurt? "Uhm, yes, exactly," she confirmed, grinning at the excitement Aurora displayed. The rendition of Chandelier earned a slight wince, but didn't keep Dee from being supportive. "Good luck, you can do it!" she called - from a safe distance.
As it turned out, Aurora could not do it, her venture up the rope ending up rather short-lived, not even reaching the first token before she lost her grip, and Dee blinked once again. Perhaps... perhaps Aurora was better suited for a different Quidditch position? One that didn't require any strength, if there was such a thing. Dee barely recalled the rules of the game, honestly.
"Uhm," she said, then nodding at Alan's question, not knowing what to say in face of this... unique performance. "Good effort?" she offered Aurora with a small smile, amusement mixing with disappointment about missing the tokens. Perhaps it would have been better if she had attempted to climb after all... but no. Not even if they paid her. They would just have to make up for it with future tasks.
The next one, at least, seemed better suited to Dee's skill set, who scorned the monkey bars and instead immediately turned towards the turning logs. Her balance was decent, this should be a walk in the park.

And just like that, she lost her grip. Maybe distracted with her own eardrum wrecker singing voice or gave way too much focus to show people that she deserves the beater position. Embarrassing. This was why the Ravenclaw quidditch team lost in the last match. Well, in her defense, she was not a monkey nor an athletic person, and it couldn’t be her fault when Hogwarts did not have a gym for her to build her muscle although she could do some exercise on her own but let’s pretend she couldn’t. The girl couldn’t even climb a rope and she wished to beat people with a bludger with her spongy consistency arms? Time to consider another position. “Sorry, I’m very hungry.” To be fair, it wasn’t an excuse. She was actually starving. Disappointed at her lack of strength, her eyes tried to notice any frown on both Pie and Dee. Hopefully they won’t make fun of what just happened, including her beautiful singing performance. No matter how nice he was at the blossom ball, she couldn’t help but sense some suspicion in his awkward smile. Aurora leaned closer to the older Ravenclaw ear and whispered, “And I bet Alarm tampered with the rope, don’t tell him I said that.”
There must be a connection between the Underworld policeman and climbing. He must be obsessed with Tarzan or monkey or something. As if her previous sad attempt wasn’t enough, now he wanted to see all of them swinging in the air. Nevermind, there was another option which was a log. Of course the young girl wanted to test her other possible talent. She took a deep breath, and off she went. If I fall, I am going to hell.

Opeila had left the decision of the last task to the two Ravenclaw girls, busy with a bug that had somehow found its way into her hair and refused to be pulled out again. Since the spider attack in her first year, Opeila was difficult with bugs. Bugs were not as bad as spiders, but they still sent a shiver down her spine and made her skin seem to tickle, although she was rather sure that the latter was only from her imagination.
Now, finally she had succeeded to pull the little insect out of her hair and threw it into a corner. She would allow it to live, but only far away from herself. After the last physical task there was apparently... another, amazing. Monkey bars or turning logs? Opeila had experienced that she was quite a bit stronger than many others her age, or even older, but that didn't mean she was strong... So, turning logs it was.
Walking towards the logs, the Slytherin encouragingly patted Aurora on the shoulder and offered her a smile. "That was good, I mean the task was not easy. Don't worry about it." Opeila had no idea if her words meant a thing to the younger Ravenclaw, but well, she was pretty sure that it would have meant a lot to her in that situation. Failure wasn't a nice feeling, the effort being acknowledged anyway was.
Alright, turning logs. Carefully, Opeila placed one foot on one of the logs, her arms stretched out to both sides to help her hold her balance.
Action: Attempting to walk over the turning logs.

Alan had moved ahead, waiting for the girls on the other side of the chasm. It seemed like @Dealla Prince would go ahead, choosing to take the path of the turning logs. [DC15; d20:15+11] Without batting an eyelash she would master the turning logs within moments as she passed the gap seemingly unaffected. She would set a good example, as @Aurora Ranvier would attempt to follow in her footsteps [DC15; d20:2+8]. She would walk and right as a terrifying thought struck her, she would feel herself lose balance as he would fall to her, well nothing really, she fell into what felt like clouds that carried her. A bunch of pillows that perfectly cushioned her fall as she got up, climbed up the ladder and gave the turning logs another go. [DC15; d20:18+8] Something everything needed was to not give up and that determination would allow Aurora to now masterfully cross the log as she landed on the other side. Perhaps it had been a good thing she landed in the soft pillows; like a wake up call without actually having been asleep. Now it was @Opeila Winters turn, as the last of the trio and she too would attempt the task of the turning logs. Her attempt would go [DC15; d20:4+8] alright at first, until she lost her focus and felt her sense of balance slip away. She too would land in the pile of pillows that cushioned her fall to cause her no harm and like Aurora had done before her, she would climb the ladder and give the task another go; [DC15; d20:19+8] and a similar sensation of determination would fill her as she with even skill as Aurora before her, would cross the gap like a dancer finding her tune.
As they made their path into the next room, they will find it to appear like a shore; they could in theory move on right away but if they did, they would miss a message etched into the sand; Dive thrice and grab as many tokens as you can carry. This task might be a little imbalanced but in a way the chances were equal of gaining a handful of token. They could win a bunch or none, though winning none was highly unlikely. Alan figured it should be fine as long as everyone was giving their best and at later tasks they might balance out any lack of tokens. The task was simple and he wouldn't think there was much of a explanation needed. The ambiance seemed serene as thick fog would gather in this specific room, making it hard to keep orientated. One or more could step forward for this task, jump into the steep pond or ease themselves into the water from the wooden pier. The water seemed fine, not particularly cold or warm and neither clear nor murky. A simple pond with a fish or two swimming about.
Mod Note:
You will have three attempts of diving into the pond; you can either choose for one person to complete this task or share the work load. Dive into a pool and retrieve as many tokens as you may, be careful what you grab for; there will be three tokens you can grab per diving attempt. How many tokens you can grab is determined via a Stamina roll. An accuracy roll will decide whether you actually manage to grab the individual token. Write your actions i.e. as such "doing all attempts" or "doing atttempt 1/2/3" etc.
In conclusion of this task; to get to the next task you will have to solve a riddle; this is purely rpg flavor and a free task. Simply choose who you nominate to solve the riddle or whether you would like to solve it as a group (in which case the average Wisdom will be chosen).
