Great Maze - Goatbusters Team
The maze event was probably the one that a young Sabrina Hurst had been looking forward to the most. An ecstatic grin had taken up residence on her face long before they had even entered into the maze, and now that they were inside, she couldn't wait to get started. There were only three directions to head in, but the girl had a pretty good feeling about going west. She still glanced between the three options, though, then turned her attention to her teammates: Anatole, Reid, and Eris. They had become pretty alright friends of hers, and she was glad that they could do the maze together.
"Well, I think we should go that way," The girl stated, her finger pointing in the direction of the west path. She dropped her hand, then pursed her lips together, "What about you guys?" She wasn't going to force them to go the way she wanted - the professors had warned them to keep together, and she wasn't going to ruin that.

Great Maze - Goatbusters Team
A maze and a goat! Two thing that lead to an extremely fun day, and a great way to bond with new friends. Eris couldn't believe that Anatole had pulled together a team of three quidditch players and himself to go through the maze that had been graciously set up by somebody. Eris didn't really know who, not that it mattered.
Her team was, undoubtedly, the best team in the history of maze teams. They had the best name, at least. Goatbusters. They had named themselves after the old muggle movie that most of their parents had liked quite a lot. At least, Eris thought her parents liked that movie. She wasn't really sure.
But now that they were in the maze, Eris realized she had no idea what direction was what. Sabrina pointed one way, and Eris had to think for a second. What was it again? Never Eat Soggy Waffles. Yeah, North, East, South, West. So Sabrina was pointing to the west. Deciding that was a good plan, Eris nodded her approval.
"Let's go to the west."

ACTION: agree to go west

As usual, Anatole was pretty much clueless. He had invited these girls (and accidentally, this other boy) to help him form a team, but he clearly knew a person like him might have not been best for the situation. They could capture the goat, sure, but they could probably do it just as well without him too. He would rather be dancing in the Ballroom with fine women (despite having two by his side currently).
The boy flicked himself in the head, trying to convince himself to stop being so pessimistic. He peered up at the great, tall walls of the contraption that enclosed them: a maze, winding and utterly confusing. He was at a disadvantage himself, being a little on the shorter side of the straw.
His "boss" piped up first, enthusiastic and clueless, like him. Anatole cracked a smile, giggling as she pointed. She was right, they had to begin somewhere. It wasn't like their feet would bring them out of it themselves. Eris, the other girl, instantly agreed.
The boy pursed his lips, acting like he was thinking when really he did not care one bit. With a charismatic grin, he looked at the other three and smiled.
"West it is, on my end."

Yes, he was fine. This was okay. Well, it was a little okay. Maybe not so much. Actually, not at all. This maze had such tall walls, his height didn't even feel like it was one forth of its size. It peeved him to be here, but it slowly settled in that he probably should just suck it up. He was here already, there was no turning back. Plus he'd look like a chicken if he didn't actually follow suit with the rest, so he made no qualms and made his peace. But it was unlikely that he'd bode well in whatever reminds him of the campout.
If that night didn't happen, he wouldn't be so shaken and this maze thing would be a breeze. He followed the three without much quips, silent and mostly observing for anything odd already. He seemed a little aloof, but he was mainly worried by the shadows that cast themselves on the ground due to the sun. Reid rubbed his brow, listening to the other speak before nodding in agreement. "West it is." he replied, cracking a smile. The boy amusingly gestured the way to the others with a slight bow. "Who wants to lead?"
Action: Agree to head west.

YOU CHOOSE WEST.
The team heads west into the maze. The view of Hogwarts and Lake vanished once the entrance was out of sight. The ground became soggy at a few points in this direction for some reason but it wasn’t bad. A few birds already made nests in the newly formed hedge maze and squawked at the students trying to pass through. It remained light most of the way as the hedges were not too tall, but it was certainly shaded inside. Lumos wouldn’t be necessary to see at all. The path curved a few times but no options presented themselves beyond the current path for two more corners. Then the path split ahead where a choice had to be made. Further inspection revealed nothing more than dirt and grass. No clues about where they might find a goat or anything else for that matter. To the north, another path winded through the maze. It was hard to see where it went due to a corner only a few feet ahead. Another path shot off to the South and similarly seemed to be hard to judge. Lastly, a path diverged to the Northeast that went for a decent distance before also turning elsewhere. Where would the team head next?
Choose between North, South, or Northeast. You could also go back to the start. Remember that teams cannot split up.

Nobody was bothering to say if they were going to lead or not, so with a shrug, Eris stepped forward. Emulating the literal embodiment of Gryffindor bravery and foolishness, the littlest member of the team grinned sheepishly. "I guess I'll lead." Eris said loudly, voice echoing on the walls of the maze. Without further ado, she skipped towards the west path, feeling like Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz, following the yellow brick road. Expect, there was no yellow brick road. Just a maze. And she had no cute little puppy with her. She did have a lion though. Two of them to be exact. And a badger. Quite the intimating group.
The path lead to a fork in the road, which caused Eris to halt her skipping and frown. At least they could see. The light from the sun shone brightly over them, as Eris turned towards her team. "I say we go East ." She pointed towards the northern path, then realizing her mistake flushed red.
"I mean North." Eris clarified, looking at her three friends expectantly. Reid didn't look all the good. He looked sort of nervous. Then again, when was Reid not nervous? Shrugging it off, Eris waited for her team to reply to her statement with their own opinions .

Blowing out a puff of air, the birds that had taken up residence in the hedges on either side of the group, squawking at them was somewhat calming to the brunette. She was not reluctant to follow Eris, trusting her judgement. The two were close, and the fact that they shared a dormitory made it so that she kind of had to trust the redheaded girl to some extent. They turned corners and walked for longer periods of time, and Sabrina found that she was walking right next to Reid. She guessed she should have expected it - she was drawn to him naturally, apparently.
She turned her head to shoot a smile in his direction, dully noting that he looked somewhat worried. She reached her elbow out, nudging his arm lightly. Hopefully he wasn't worrying too much - it would suck for him to not have a good time while the rest of them did, and stressing over things would definitely put a damper on the mood. She turned back to face forwards, just as they came to a fork in the road.
Eris pointed in a direction, calling it east. She wasn't sure, but Sabrina thought it was not exactly east.. Not that she knew directions, especially since twisting and turning through the maze had jumbled even her own mind up. She pursed her lips, a little laugh escaping her as she nodded her head, agreeing once Eris corrected herself, "Sounds good to me!"

He had followed down third in the line, Sabrina, his boss, in front of him, and Reid, an almost complete stranger, behind. It was a random order, most likely, but Anatole was glad he wasn't the one shoved in the front to guide the Goatbusters onwards. It would've been challenging, but Eris seemed like the right girl to get the job done without much hesitation. Anatole thought well of her.
A hearty laugh erupted from Anatole at the supposed leader's mistake. It was easy to not know cardinal directions from one another, especially in a whole, complex puzzle of tall hedges and winding paths. In the distance, there were faint mutters of other teams, but he couldn't pick out who was who. He wished he could hear the soft bleat of a goat, but it was quiet. Maybe he could try to crawl right through, only sustaining a couple injuries.
Well, following behind Eris for now would have to do.
"North?" He chuckled for a moment, louder than he expected. Anatole shut himself up quickly, muttering a small "Sorry." God dang it. He had done it again. Maybe it was something just about the word North, maybe it was that level of superstition. He hoped Sabrina wouldn't whip around and whack him with her hair.
Piecing himself together, Anatole gulped and agreed. "It sounds alright. I-I'm in!"

After some time, he relaxed and tried not to seem so ready to turn tail. He wasn't a Gryffindor, but he could manage to fake it at least till this was over. It was too easy to bend to the hypothetical in this maze, the what ifs and what about was too easy to shake him. He listened to their surroundings, just like how Anatole was doing. Reid was curious of who else was participating, perhaps they'd run into another team the more they got into the maze. But there was no sound of a goat and it made him frown as he briefly brushed his hand on one of the leafy walls.
"How quiet can a goat be?" he mused, following the rest. Not even a bleat or a peep from the animal, what if this goat was some freakishly heavy statue they had to haul back? All of these thoughts were irrelevant and really they sounded stupid, but stupid was just what the doctor ordered and it eased his worry. The boy glanced at the Sabrina, arching his brow as he felt her nudge him. A flash of judgement clouded his gaze at the moment and he shrugged it off, holding his wand in one hand.
He doubt he'd be able to cast anything, but at least he'd probably be able to drag two of the three Goatbusters away if they got hurt. Three would be a miracle if anything. He looked at the ground, fixing his gaze to see if he could see any goat tracks. His attention was called back to the others as Eris planned to head North. Without hesitation, he nodded with the rest.
"I like it, let's go North. This goat is probably deeper in the maze." Reid hated to even say that, what if they got lost on their way back. His memory was as long as a goldfish's and everything looked the same to him. "How do we know which way is back though?" he asked curiously, starting forward without notice. Reid walked backwards to face the group, squinting as the sun briefly flashed in his eyes.
