Eun-ji wasn't really that hungry yet but she couldn't practice ballet at the moment and it was starting to get a bit chilly outside so she decided to move to the great hall. She could finish her sketches there and then have something to eat. For most part, the girl was minding her own business while passing other students. She was not interested in social interactions today. It’s okay, I’ll just eat quickly and then go back to the dorm. A simple plan really...until it wasn't. She was just entering the small hall, momentarily preoccupied with stuffing her sketchbook into her bag when someone bumped into her. Oof…

The witch looked up and surveyed the culprit, founding the face far too familiar. And not in a good way."Aish...tto noya?" You again? She cursed under her breath in Korean. She didn't do it on purpose. Usually when she was really angry or surprised, the Korean made an appearance without her even noticing. For once, it looked like the Slytherin shared her opinion since they said exactly the same thing. It was almost funny…Almost. Eun-ji wasn't really looking for another fight today but oh god, did they make it difficult… “Don’t flatter yourself…I have standards.” She retorted with a forced smile.

Well at least it doesn't seem like they did it on purpose. The Ravenclaw reasoned with herself calmly, willing to let this one go. There was another girl involved so she really didn’t want to make a scene. This was their feud and she didn’t need to witness any of it. “Sorry,” the witch apologized politely to the blonde accompanying Cassandra. She would be on her way after that but odds were definitely not in her favour today. "More importantly though…What is that?" Eun-ji pointed at the orange monstrosity that caused the collision in the first place. She knew Hogwarts took the Halloween decorations very seriously but this seemed a bit too much. The pumpkin looked rather aggressive. Surely, this was not done intentionally.

Halloween at Hogwarts. Was there a more magical time of year? Starlee was rather inclined to say no. Not even the snow covered hills of winter or the blooms of spring could quite compare to the spooky purple and orange season of fall. However, it was still quite early in the month, and the castle wasn't decorated - yet. Or, rather, what was supposed to be 'yet' now turning into 'who know's, there are sentient pumpkins roaming the castle.'

Starlee and Cash were headed to get lunch together, as was typical for the pair. The Fall Ball was recently announced, and Cash had asked if Starlee would be attending. "Oh, you bet I'll be there!' she beamed. "I don't have a date or anything, I'm hoping a certain Beaubaton boy attends..." she did her best to hide a small blush forming at her cheeks. "But you will have to introduce me to him! I haven't met many from Koro- Koldof- Koldovstortz..." she trailed off as she attempted yet very much butchered the Russian schools name.

It was then that a hoard of pumpkins made their way out of the Great Hall, in to the adjoining Small Hall. Cash said something in Spanish, which was about all Starlee could figure out from it, and stared after the now 'armed' pumpkins. Starlee was about to comment on it, when someone ran right into Cash. It was quite clear that Cash didn't like them and, with Starlee pretty much doing whatever and thinking like Cash in every-way possible, that meant that Starlee would dislike the girl. Loyal to a fault - when it came to the right people that is. A frown formed on her face as the stalker muttered something in a language Starlee had never heard.

However, the girl did decide to apologize... well... not to Cash, but to Starlee herself, which just seemed to make Starlee even more confused, her face scrunching up as she tried to figure out if she was supposed to like or not-like this girl. Sure... the girl had these supposed 'standards' that Cash was apparently below... so then where did that put Starlee? Even lower? Starlee again had no time to dwell on this fact as it seemed the pumpkins were getting particularly aggressive.

"There's no way these are just decorations... right? Should we do something?" Starlee pulled her wand out of her cloak pocket, ready to put it to use. "A few of these look really... er... angry..." she said as she surveyed them. One seemed to have latched onto the trio, coming in for the attack, and Starlee racked her brain for ideas. What better way to stop the pumpkins coming after them, than by attempting to sever their legs? "Diffindo!" she shouted, pointing at one of the incoming pumpkins.

Realistic and spooky decorations for halloween we're not new at all for such a place at Hogwarts. I mean there are few limits to really making the castle spectacular when you have magic to utilize. Though perhaps setting loose roaming pumpkins wasn’t the greatest idea. Not only were they super annoying, as they giggled their way through halls, corridors and courtyards, but who knew what ruckus they would cause if they were left to skip about for long.

Clearly the students in the small hall thought somewhat the same thing, and therefore made their heroic attempts of saving the student population from a pumpkin disaster. It would easily take more than one student to take down these things, but Starlee made the beginning move of casting diffindo at the unsuspecting vegetable’s vine-limbs. The spell was done as well as one could ever wish for, and it hit her target as intended, leaving the poor pumpkin legless on the floor. Now capturing it would certainly not be as much of a struggle, and together they’d be able to bring the pumpkin-criminal to justice.

Cash was the one that bumped into her and they were the first one to snap but if the frown was anything to go by, it appeared the blonde next to them elected to ignore all these in favour of her friend. To be fair, Eun-ji’s words were pretty rude but how are you supposed to react when someone calls you a stalker? The Ravenclaw happily avoided Cassandra whenever it was possible thank you very much but all students had to eat sometime. Her apology also seemed to miss the mark, as the other girl looked simply confused. Wait? Did she expect me to apologise for being bumped into? Sure it wasn’t intentional so she didn’t demand apology herself but if the blonde thought SHE was going to apologise to Cassandra, she was solely mistaken.

Interesting…The Ravenclaw had to give it to the Slytherin …for a bully they definitely had a way to make people follow them without question. She had the same experience with Ivy during her first year though that one actually apologised to Eun-ji later so she didn’t hold it against the Gryffindor. She also wasn’t interested in making new friends anymore so the fact that there were no introductions today suited her just fine. There were more important things at hand anyway. Like the crazy pumpkin in front of the trio.

Eun-ji pulled out her wand, fully intending to freeze the orange misfit. The blonde-haired girl was a tad faster however and managed to cast diffindo at it. I’ll wait then. There was no reason to interrupt her spell. The Ravenclaw wasn’t a show off and had no need to compete with others so she simply stood close by in case the spell failed. Thankfully, it didn’t. “Good job,” the witch said as she put away her wand. “You wanna bring it to the Great all or should I?” Her tone was pure business. It was clear none of them intended to build any new friendships here anyway. She and Cassandra were far too deep in their dislike for each other and Starlee stroke her as a person that didn’t bother to make their own opinion. Perhaps in the past, she would have attempted to change her mind like she did with Ivy but Eun-ji just couldn’t be bothered anymore. She was judged plenty at home and had no interest in defending herself here too. Hogwarts was supposed to be her escape. Hopefully, Cassandra wouldn't push her buttons anymore and they could all be on their way...
