It's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Juniper has already decided she loved Hogwarts. In fact, everything about it was amazing. The few first months have flown by with amazing speed, and thinking of them brought back happy memories of chocolate frogs, mud, jumping in the lake, cupcakes flying, detention, getting screamed at by a crying girl, and getting threatened to be thrown out a window by a kid twice her size. Ah, yes, life was good. However, every single bit of her tingled with anticipation as October came around, it was her favorite after all. She didn't know if the wizarding world even celebrated Halloween, but that didn't mean she would stop celebrating spooky season in her own way. Forget Thanksgiving, Halloween is forever in her heart, in a special place full of spiders, ghosts, and spooky stuff.
In honor of her favorite month, she was wearing a (black) cat ears headband. She wore a white shirt that said "So Franken awesome" with a picture of Frankenstein on it. She wore purple skorts, because who matches anyway. Her hair was in two braids with rainbow hair ties.
She had knee-high rainbow socks on, and her purple low top converse (that had doodles on them from when she got bored). She walked down the hall munching on every flavoured beans, looking around the hall as she did. She was yet to explore the school, she hasn't found the time to. She assumed that because it was so big, it would take forever to find every nook and cranny in the school. It might take her the whole year, but she was determined to explore at one point.
"Cody, I think we should do Halloween pranks this year togethr, it would be *so* fun! You know?" She said, glancing at her friend as she walked. She scrunched up her nose, and spit out a jelly bean on the floor. "ew" She said.
She glanced up, and gasped. "OMG!" She saw a pumkin, yes. A moving pumkin. "CODY! CODY CODY CODY! Look look- It's it's-" A lightbulb went of in her head. "it's the Great pumkin, Charlie Brown!" She said, laughing. She grabbed his hand, pulling him along. The pumkin scurried away. "Wait up!" She turned to Cody. "Let's catch it, and name it George!" She said.

The best holiday of the year was nearing, and indeed, the boy loved Halloween with a passion. Of course, he didn't know whether the Wizarding World celebrated Halloween, or maybe Samhain, but he recalled asking out Juniper to a Fall Ball that was to happen by Samhain.
Indeed, he agreed with Juniper, as he nodded. They SHOULD do Halloween pranks this year. It would make Halloween much more exciting. Now, Cody might've been eleven, but he wasn't too old to trick or treat. However, he was at a magic school, where, he supposed that he could request for candy to appear out of nowhere.
"WHY DID YOU SPIT A JELLY- WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?"
Cody exclaimed, noticing the hideous, walking, pumpkins. They still seemed taller than Cody was anyways, and he didn't pay that much mind. Could he squish it like he did the geese?
The boy laughed at the reference to Its a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. But while the boy also saw the original version, Cody saw the Simpson's Tree House of Horror episode where it featured a parody of that show. Of course, Tom Turkey had to appear in it for some reason, but there was a talking, walking, big headed Pumpkin, called the Great Pumpkin. It was his favorite show to watch on Halloween, rather than dealing with Freddy's pranks, he pranked Freddy instead. Well, perhaps his parents too.
"Why in the blo0dy- WHY GEORGE?" Cody whined, the naming of another creature, even one that was magically created, was disturbing to Cody. They were bound to die, so why name them. You'll just end up getting attached to them.
He nodded, his face a little solemn. "Hey, uh, Page. Do I- I don't want to name it. For some reason, I feel like they're out here, made to roam and ruin my time here. Can we please just catch them and maybe make some pumpkin pie, pumpkin pasties, pumpkin juice, and roasted pumpkin seeds out of them?"

Juniper pouted. "tI tasted like worms! And not the good kind, like the sugary kind that gets you all higher and jumping around... like the bad icky kind that crawls and slithers, icky and gross!" She scrunched up her nose and wiped her hands on her robe. "Icky." She didn't like the flavor at all. It reminded her of the time she accidentally ate a handful of grass, and maybe a few worms.
Cody turned down her idea of naming it, George. She didn't know why, it was a cute name for everything. That is, if you didn't already have a cuter name. Look at curious George! He's adorable, and his name is too! "I don't care. If we're killing something, we should at least know it's name. I don't want to be killing things without respecting it and not treating it like some faceless thing like with those geese." She said, scrunching her eyebrows.
She knew he meant well, but he had mercilessly killed the geese. Without giving them any worth, and Juniper didn't want to be like that. Call her stupid or silly.
She ran after the pumpkin, staring in awe. "I wonder... how did they get like this? I- mr pumpkin?" She asked. "Wait up! I don't think you should be loose in the school!" She ran forward, blocking the hall it was going to. "Okay, now I'm getting annoyed." She attempted to leap on top of it to trap it.

Mmm worms.. Being torn away from the terrible jellybean flavor the girl unfortunately tasted, she and a boy tried to track down and capture a giant, giggling pumpkin that scrambled past them. Alas the girl was the size of the pumpkin yet she hurled herself at the orange ball and tackled it to the ground. Bullseye! She could make a decent career in wrestling with that mighty fine K.O. Except there was one problem.. how were they going to get it back to the main hall?

His heart thudded, he ran down past Juniper Kelly, clearly excited that he was finally going to chase the putrid beasts. An excited whooping left the part goblin's mouth. A murmur of excitement left his lips. "PAGE. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Don't be NICE to those pumpkins! We honestly need some homemade pumpkin pie this year, perhaps one made by me! My family said my pumpkin foods are a delicacy, I simply wanted to try them! You can't BLAME me for that! I simply have the evil side of chaos and you have the pacifist side of chaos." The boy gasped. He realized he said something wrong to his best friend.
"I'm so sorry Page! Honest! I swear, I'll do something for you... would a noogie on someone work? Or- or- do I have to be nice for an entire day?" He looked at Juniper with eyes that seemed to be encouraging his embarrassment. It was humiliating to the boy, but that was the way he was dealing with it. He was simply someone who would bully someone, but if it involved him saying something mean to his best friend, or BEING mean physically to his best friend, that crossed the line.
In a flush of humiliation, he quickly ran down the hall, running into the pumpkin roaming around. He struck it. But did it go down?
