History/Background Story: Avery grew up in a magical family so has always known of its existence. He has always been a friendly well mannered child, that got along with everyone. He always made friends with the kids who were singled out, or deemed different by their peers and always had a kind word for everyone. Because of this making friends was very easy for Avery and he grew up having the respect of most of his peers because of his kindness and the fact he would always stick up for the underdog. Avery hates bullies and will forgo his shy nature in order to stick up for those who are to afraid or to timid to stick up for themselves. This includes those who degrade Muggles for not being pure blood. His parents both work at the Ministry and have brought him up to respect and understand the responsibility of using magic. Born in 2010 in Scotland, his parents both took a break from work to raise him until he was around 5. His father went back to work after 2 years but his Mother stayed away until he had started school. Both of his parents are well respected in the Wizarding world and have raised Avery to act in the same respectful way and to never treat his magic irresponsibly. Avery very much loves his parents and wants nothing more than to excel at Hogwarts and make them proud.
First Use of Magic: When Avery was 9 years old he was confronting a rather nasty older boy in his school. When the boy went to strike him Avery attempted to push him away to avoid the blow, but when he did the boy was thrown 100 feet into the swing set. Avery didn't know that it was an involuntary use of Magic but one something was wrong so he explained the situation to his patents. They saw it got what it was and explained the importance of watching your temper and controlling your emotions to avoid situations like that in the future.
