Acceptance is the easy part. Getting past emotional damage is the hardest. 2 years clean of that abuse, and my self esteem is not any better than it was back then. But I digress. It's different for different people.

It wont get easier, You just adjust to the fact that its in your past and that it may affect your future, but still try to live your life to the fullest.
