It was a painful experience to be certain. The feeling that came from a burst of magical flame. The searing of one's skin as that fire worked with frightening efficiency. All of its efforts focused on destabilizing cellular structure while it consumed the skin for fuel. Not that Roberta felt this pain now mind you, but it was not like she hadn't before. That she was willing to make someone else go endure this anguish said a lot about her, but it said even more about how she felt in this moment as she missed her target.
She thought she had been focused on the right opponent. Intent on striking the enemy Queen while the path to her vulnerabilities was still open for her to exploit. Emotions on the other hand seemed to be getting the better of her during her duels. A raging heart that could only be quelled by destruction was not who she was, but rather how she had chosen to express herself in that moment. "Incendio," she incanted angrily, the flames twisting and writhing towards the focus of her heart's anger and not her intended target. Hanako Tone. A name she would find seared into her memory if after this she was still bothered enough to learn it.
His taunting would only cause her jaw to tighten, all slack being lost in the feud. Behind the trapdoor of her teeth lie her tongue, now spring loaded like a dagger content to cut him deep. It's message was fury insurmountable, a spirit carrying righteous indignation that would burn away the peeling façade of his 'witty' remarks. Yet still she held onto that anger. The things she wanted to say to him right now. The things she would have done to him if he held still for just long enough. She felt a vow of enmity was almost necessary, and that she might open up to swear it now, but instead she held her tongue and bit her lip.
He wasn't worth it, and she would have the last laugh.

[font=Monotype Corsiva]Unamused would be putting it mildly in regards to how Enzo felt when he watched his spell fly past it’s intended mark. How awful it was that he hadn’t been able to make good on his promise he had previously made to the serpent queen. Maybe he should give her more credit for her evasion skills. No no, who was he kidding, it must just be luck. No other explanation welcome.
Enzo’s gaze then returned and followed wink boy as he “moved on”, in more ways than one. His expression then morphed into one of true utter annoyance, when wink boy began taunting his queen.
Who did this lad think he was?
So, Enzo leaned towards Roberta, and without breaking his glare at wink boy, he then spoke up in their mother tongue.
“Please madam, shut him up, will you?”

Everyone seemed to aim for Piper this time. Spells from two directions flew at her, and she managed to evade both by hopping around in a rather undignified manner, despite the slippery floor under her. She was just glad to have gotten out of the way in the nick of time. Greta was right across from her, and Piper stared. She could easily attack Piper, and Piper furrowed her brow with worry.

Had the tables turned, was luck again with the Slytherin team?
Lydia wondered that as she observed the events of this round unfold in front of her. After being the main target of the iNPC team, Piper tried her best to avoid being hit by any spell that might be directed towards her; when Greta directed her Incendio Duo towards her, the Viridian Vipers' queen easily and effortlessly avoided it. Starlee had set her eyes on Greta, and she pointed her wand towards the Durmstrang girl, her knockback jinx directed towards her; however, Greta was too quick and avoided the spell with ease. Hanako wanted to cast Incendio Duo at Roberta, but something wasn't right: his aim was completely off, almost as if Yefim and Enzo's presence influenced him somehow, and the spell completely missed its target. Roberta, if possible, had even less luck: she was ready to cast her Mucus ad Nauseam towards Hanako, determined to give him a nasty cold, but something happened, and the spell backfired. The effects of the curse were immediate, and Roberta's nose would start being incredibly stuffy, as the mucus started making her feel nauseous.
As the spells flew around, Opeila, Yefim and Enzo took the opportunity of not being anyone's target and changed their positions: Opeila moved to stand in front of Piper, blocking Greta from attacking her directly, Yefim also moved in front of his team's queen, making it impossible for Hanako to try and attack her once again, and Enzo moved to Roberta's right side.

Starlee probably should have realized that attempting to cast at the unhittable girl would be an issue. While her flipendo was successful, again she was either terribly off aim, or the girl just knew what was about to happen, and easily dodged. Opeila had tried casting... how many times now, and not one of those had made impact. What made Starlee think she could do any better than a student in an older year?
Luckily Piper managed to dodge the spell heading straight for her. They were still in this. Hanako had shot a spell off to who knows where, but Starlee was honestly too tired to attempt some witty condescending remark. Plus, Hanako had managed to take out an opponent... where as Starlee... had done a whole lot of nothing. Moving around and being a literal meat shield. What fun.
Another tiny bit of good luck occurred when the opposing queen had managed to backfire on herself, making that twice so far. 'Was their queen really that inept at spellcasting?' She would have smirked at the girl if she hadn't been so exhausted and hurt.
She took a deep breath. 'Just keep going.' That was what they had to do.

Receiving no sign or direction from her own queen, Greta snapped her attention back around to the front to hone in on the other. She was right there. Still...caution stayed Greta's hand momentarily as she weighed the options, her seafoam gaze dancing nervously between the three figures who stood to sling spells towards her. Three against one was not ideal. A voice in the back of her mind told her to straighten her shoulders and stand firm, however, and Greta mentally caved.
Chiding herself for allowing a moment of worry, she took a deep breath, shoulders rising and falling, and steeled herself against her opponents. So what if she fell in the heat of battle? To do so would be an honourable demise. A warrior's fall. The Franssons did not balk at the notion of opposition. No, they faced the challenge head-on and rose above it, allowing their enemies to break themselves upon the waves and stones below their bows. Such would be the case now. No more hesitation.
Firm in her resolve, Greta shot her hand forward, chanting, "Incendio Duo!"
Flame spiraled from the tip of her wand to the queen ahead. But her aim was off, and the queen was ready. Not a thread upon her form was even singed. No whine escaped from the Norwegian's lips this time. There was no time for that. A flash of light heralded an incoming spell from the right. Ducking, the spell sailed harmlessly above her. Greta prepared to sling another spell towards the queen, intent to capitalize upon the moment of having access to her along this file, but when she rose, she found a different, but familiar, face instead. Apparently the dark-haired girl had had enough of attempting to deal with Greta and had decided the queen to be a more attractive target.
"You play big game with move," Greta commented, not really knowing how to express her notion that she thought the shift of position to be a bit of a gamble. Not that she had any problem with it. It wasn't like it wasn't a good choice. It provided a barrier against the queen while also opening the option to attack the foreign queen. But with the boy defeated, this girl was Greta's greatest threat. And now Greta could legally target her.

Enough being enough, Roberta pointed her wand at the little creep as he crept into position. She would smile at him with glee. She had been holding onto just the cure for that soon to be sniveling snot, Tone. "Mucus ad nauseam," she incanted, the flash of green light oddly not headed in his direction, but instead glowing all around her.
For a brief moment she would be unsure of what exactly had happened. He did not dodge, but he also did not seem affected. Drainage would then seep from her face, forming a fountain of slime that stuck to her furs in globs. "Merde," she cursed, reflexively pinching the bridge of her nose as if it would help to staunch the arcane induced flow.
Now all she was left with was the question of why had she done this to herself.

What did NotHot enzo tell Queenie roberta? Hana, who had no knowledge of the french language, will never know. But from the way he was glared at, obviously, he was the main topic. With the conclusion in mind, he felt ecstatic. It’s always a pleasure to be talked about. Even more, if it was negative. Well, he hoped it was. But what if NotHot said something like ‘ he’s mine’. Gosh, how embarrassing. To be so charming should be a sin. Dumb jokes aside, he was going to be shot at for sure. Bring it on.
Just like Queenie Roberta, he aimed his wand at her ready to start the round-only to freeze. Suddenly his stance was off. Chills crawled up his spine threatening him to drop his wand entirely. What the hell. Whoosh. Before he knew it, his spell was shot- at not at it’s intended target at all. “ Yare yarehow troublesome” he mumbled bitterly, his heart beating oddly fast. And not in a good way.
One of the answers to his sudden distress appeared in front of him like an unwanted gift basket, blocking his nice view of the Queen. He gave the new guy a sweet smile. “ Wanted a nicer change of view, is it? I’m a nicer change from my teammates, aren’t I? Heh. Don’t be shy to admit it. I know I know.” if his teammates were to glare at him, he’d send them a quick wink. “ Woww, no wonder why my heart was beating fast just now. You're quite a looker yourself~. But you know, you’re blocking my nice view of your queen behind you. So, why don’t you step aside? I promise you can still see my handsome face from another cell block~. Righto- run along now~”

Another round of misses, for both sides. Suddenly it seemed like no one could aim, even though in the worm team's case, it was just par for the course. It seemed completely ironic that his Queen's only injuries were self-inflicted, the one who tried to fire on her couldn't even get the spell to work when he caught sight of Yefim and Enzo shifting their position for the next stab at victory.
He started beeping some banter in English, Yefim frankly not paying enough attention to his surroundings to understand even a fraction of it. His tone was all smarmy though, which was a bold stance to take, given he had just sat in the corner all game, hardly needing to be contemplated in his strategy. A speck in his eye, blinked away.
[”Gather up your nerves. We will win.”] He answered in Russian, knowing he would only be understood by himself and possibly Greta. His focus was still on the enemy Queen.

Opeila felt like she was trapped in a cloud of fury, determination and frustration. She had long ago begun to ignore the spectators and focus on her teammates and opponents only. Once again the opponent queen backfired a spell- was she that nervous? She hadn't even been hit by any of them yet. Tone missed his spell. Opeila stepped to the side, shielding Piper from the girl she had been trying to hit so many times now.
