It had to be one of the only things that Selina was terrified of.. geese. Well she also is afraid of pigeons, swans, ducks and a lot of other birds but she never told anyone about her phobia of all these birds.

Hello.. Opeila. Selina said hoping Opeila Winters would help her get the 'stupid' geese back.

"Opeila, there's g-g-g-ee-s--see." Selina called and she struggled to say geese, she always struggled to say words of things she hated.

She did not want to hold a goose and try to get it back to help everyone else, but she held it anyway. She picked it up and held it tight to her chest, she whimpered.

"Opeila, I'm holding a goose," Selina said hoping Opeila would just hop out of her hiding spot.

Selina was so proud of herself but she was still not over her fear, she was scared of the goose she used to hide behind her parents and friends if one appeared.

She was holding the goose and she sat down on the floor, now Selina thought about it, the goose wasn't that scary and had taken a liking to the goose and the goose certainly had taken a liking to Selina.

Opeila was not much of a dreamer, quite the opposite. Especially here at Hogwarts, she had been forced to learn to be cautious just about all the time, not to trust the wrong people and overthink twice whatever seems to be not quite right. Only today she somehow got things messed up and somehow ended up with a History Book saying "M. Theon" on the inside instead of her own. Now the question was: Who was M. Theon? The Hufflepuff girl that looked like a fifth or sixth year who sat near her in the study room earlier, or the Ravenclaw boy who she had never really spoken a word with who sat next to her in history today?

The easiest solution seemed to be bringing it up to the caretaker's office. It had been her idea after all to set up a sort of 'lost item station' up there and put up some lists in the castle that showed what items had been found so far. But what about her own history book? She needed it for homework and studying and somehow it seemed that the other student had taken it with them. Opeila didn't like writing into books, so she had not written her name into it. That meant that it could quite possibly take the other student a while to realize that it was not their book they had in their bag, if they noticed it at all.
What if handing in the book meant that the Slytherin would have to buy a new one in the end?
Opeila had decided to keep it for now.

Still caught up with her thoughts, she was not prepared for the vaguely familiar voice that suddenly called her name. "Mh? Oh, hi Seli- What in the world?!" The greeting got stuck in her throat when the third year saw what was going on in the corridor she had almost just walked past. Geese. There were geese in the corridor, three of them. "How on earth did they get in here?", Opeila asked, holding her bag a bit more tightly while cautiously eyeing the large birds. "Be careful, I have heard that they can get really aggressive and have a strong beak. Don't get hurt.", she warned the younger girl, who was just picking up a goose. Not very clever.

Well, seemed that Selina got lucky and the goose didn't want to murder her on the spot. Instead the animal allowed the Ravenclaw to touch it and sit down on the ground with it. "Look, we need to get them back where they are from, Selina. I guess that might be the Care of Magical Creatures area, unless someone decided to wildly transfigure big birds." Opeila thought for a moment. "I guess immobilizing will do." The third year got out her wand and pointed it at one of the geese. "Immobulus!" Then the second. And finally the one Selina was befriending. "Ok, now they shouldn't be to difficult to transport. You pick that one up or levitate it or whatever, I take that one."

Opeila picked up an immobilized goose, quite surprised how heavy the bird was. Okay, could she carry it with one arm. Only just, but that would do. She pointed her wand at the third goose. "Wingardium Leviosa! Shall we?"

"Thanks for the concern Opeila but I think this one likes me." Selina told Opeila stroking the goose's kind feathers. Selina flicked her hair onto her shoulder being careful not to startle the creature. Selina was very sad to see this goose go but she placed the goose carefully onto the floor and got up.

She took her wand out of her pocket, pointed it at the goose and shouted "wingardium leviosa." the goose flew up into the air and levitated in mid air.

Selina again flicked her long, wavy hair over her shoulder and started poking about with her fingers and the goose just continued to float in the air not making and struggle or anything, she hoped she hadn't killed the goose.

But she highly doubted she had as she was not violent and had placed the spell on it extremely carefully.

Suddenly the goose twitched a bit and Selina suddenly regained the colour in her face as she had gone very pale in hoping that she hadn't killed the goose. Selina was very happy now knowing the goose was alive. She must send an owl to her parents saying she had gotten over her fear of geese.

"I heard it was two prefects who had transfigured these pieces of furniture into geese. We better transport them back, shouldn't we?" Selina told Opeila about what she had overheard two prefects talking about, it was something like that Selina didn't know for sure but she was beginning to get upset having to take the geese back to get transfigured back to their furniture form.

"Bye Mr. or Mrs. or Miss. goose I will never forget you." Selina told the goose, tears welding in her eyes sadly as she made her way down the corridors to return them to the prefects. Tears dripping down her cheeks. She didn't know why she was so sad that the goose was going but she just had taken a liking to it.
