Clair walked down to the great lake, she was super Happy! today she would meet up with her friend she had only talked to over Owls, She guessed that Mei would be just like her in the ways that she would most likely love Cats, Reading, Learning, Adventure and many other things, Clair pulled her Robe closer around herself, it was Chilly today, for early September it was rather chilly! she looked around, the two friends had agreed to meet at the Great lake at 4:30, it was now 4:15, Clair Liked to get places early rather then late, it gave her time to prepare and Relax knowing that she was where she needed to be, Clair sat down by the lake and tied her hair up in a pony tail, then she pulled out her DADA Homework, she started to work on it, she needed a foot long scroll about Imps, and it was due in a week! Clair like most everyone else liked to hand in her homework the soonest she could, she also liked to get good grades which is why she hated Herbology, she seemed to carry on the bad luck streak for it from her sister, Izzy. getting a P in it the first time she did it. she looked around, it was getting late, it was now 4:45 amd Mei was still not here!

Mei was sprinting down the corridors. "Oh, bloody hell." Mei said to herself as she stumbled outside almost falling onto her knees. On the wrong side. Of course I'm on the wrong side. Mei looked around to figure out where she was sighing deeply. " Um...damn. She looked around once more and made the decision to go left. Then turned the other way and went to the right.
Mei began to sprint again looking down at her watch. Five minutes until five o'clock. Mei had never been late to anything. She'd been pretty close quite a few times but always managed to make it on time. By this time Clair probably wasn't there anymore either that or she was getting ready to leave.
Mei turned the corner and the Great Lake came into view. Mei sprinted as fast as she could to get there (of course have to stop halfway to catch her breath). Mei sprinted the rest of the way to the Great Lake stopping in front of Clair.
"I'm sorry..." Mei took a breath "That I..." Another breath. "That I came late....Whew! Mei took another deep breath before leaning against the tree.

Clair was so lost in her homework she had not even noticed that it was getting late, until she saw Mei Sprinting over, the poor girl looked like she could fall over out of tiredness!
Clair Got up to meet Mei, "hello, you must be Mei? My name is clair, how are you? If you'll excuse me one minute I just need to put away My Homework!" Clair bent down and started to Pick up her homework, she rolled up her scroll and placed it in her bag, then she placed her books away, she snuck a glance at Mei, she was leaning on a tree out of breath, Clair Smiled Mei was Pretty, her Face was very Pretty even when it was red from running!
She put her last book in and put her bag up right, just as her Wand rolled away! She scurried after it, finally getting hold of it she walked back and pit it in her bag, "what is your wand made out of?"
she looked at her wand "mine is 24,6 cm walnut wood and unicorn hair core , flexible, but very appropriate for duelist, great for both attack and defense spells!" she said pulling out her wand it was a pretty wand! a light brown with a black/brown handle and a spiral going up it a little, a wand to be proud of Izzy had said.

Clair stood up to greet Mei. "Hello, you must be Mei? My name is Clair, how are you? If you'll excuse me one minute I just need to put away my homework!" Clair said as she bent down to put her homework away. She started to pick up her homework. She rolled up her scroll and put it in her bag, and then placed her books in her bag. Mei leaned on the tree still slightly out of breath. Mei noticed Clair glance at her but did not look her way still focused on trying to slow her heart rate down. As Clair put her last book away her wand rolled off. Clair managed to grab it after a moment. She placed her wand in her bag. "What is your wand made out of? Mine is 24.6 cm walnut wood and unicorn hair core, flexible, but very appropriate for a duelist, great for bot attack and defense spells!" Clair said as she pulled out her wand and looked at. It was light brown wand with a dark coloured handle with a simple spiral wrapped around the handle. "Oh! Um mine is 29,5 cm chestnut wood with a phoenix feather core. It's good for defensive spells and protective charms. Mei said this as she pulled out her own wand. It was a simple medium-light brown wand. Not really much design to it. Mei twirled her wand in her hand a few times before putting it away again. Mei pulled a small baggy of peppermint candies out of her bag and popped one into her mouth. She held the bag out to Clair offering her one.

Clair looked at the Wand, she smiles "it's very nice" she said but really she liked hers better.
"were you kept in Class or something. You were rather late! But never mind that! What do you want to do?" She asked watching as Mei handed a peppermint to her "thanks!" She said taking it and popping it in her mouth, "Mmmm!" She sighed the peppermint was really good.
She reached into her bag and pulled out a small black bag, inside was a random assortment of Candy for Hogsmeade, "my sister Got them for me if you want one, They are rather good! I mean Ithink the Chocolate frogs are the best! But you might like something else!" She put the baggy on the ground, not wanting any candy right now, as the mint's flavor was still in her mouth, "have all the belly beans you want, I am not a fan of them! As the first one I got was Really gross! It was something like Ear Wax!" She started to laugh "which Izzy thought I would like!" She managed to say after laughing for a while, she laughed because of the memory of her Mother (A Muggle) when Izzy gave her a jellybean and it was Dog Poop flavor! Her mother's face had gone a funny shade and then she had spat it out and run for water, ending in drinking up some of the water for her Horse's Water trough!
She explained this to Mei so that Mei would not think of Clair as Dumb.
