Music expresses that which cannot be put into words

[This RP is open to 1 or 2]
Hogwarts was back in session. A new group of students had made their way in boats across the Great Lake, had been sorted, and had slept several nights now in their new dormitories. Past students had returned, coming back to old friends and memories of years prior.
Simon had missed life within these castle walls and being away at the Summer Camp for the full month of August, one of the things he missed most was being in the Rehearsal Room on the Fourth Floor. There was a piano there and Simon enjoyed nothing more than listening to, writing, or playing music.
This was already his third time there since the new term began, as he tried to share his time between there and the Library, another beloved destination of his within the school. He left his guitar in his dormitory (although some evenings he brought it along) and he sat at the piano, placing his hands just in the right place, and he began to play.
Most often the Rehearsal Room was empty when he first came and often it wouldn't have anyone else come along and be empty once more when he left, although not always. Sometimes someone else came along and Simon never minded the interruption.

Music expresses that which cannot be put into words
Winter, a gentle soul, fancies one thing over all, music. Her many years of training and muggle choir classes led to her having what people call an angelic voice. Winter would usually make her way to a not so crowded area when she felt like singing her heart out, and one of those places just so happened to be the rehearsal room. It was normally vacant and fun to dance around whilst singing, somewhere nobody would be watching the shy Hufflepuff.
She woke up with the rhythm in her bones, the urge to sing bouncing around her mind. So she would throw on some nicely colored clothing and head out, off to the rehearsal room. On the way there multiple songs played through her thoughts, her head bobbing as she passed many students in the halls, a grin on her face.
Upon her arrival, she would open the door, only for her ears to pick up the amazing sound of a piano. The song being played was one she hadn't heard before but it was so gracefully played, she just had to see whom was responsible for the beautiful music. She slipped through the half opened door and made her way to the center of the room, her eyes spotting the blonde pianist. Her eyes widened as she realised who it was, the boy whom she had met in the fields with the amusing last name, Simon Kincaid.
As the song went on her smile grew, she had enjoyed the music very much. Once he had finished playing, Winter would applaud in awe. "Y-Your an amazing player.." winter spoke softly, the feeling of being impressed showing in her voice. "Its nice to see you again Simon"
She added, tilting her head slightly with a smile. All winter could think about was the music he had played, everything else that was in her mind before had just melted away, that was by far the best performance she has every witnessed.
In case her friend was wondering she would already answer the question before he would ask, "i-i uhm thought this room would be empty... i was planning on singing here.." she spoke softly and nervously, the idea of sharing her voice with anyone but her family was a bit scary, she had always thought people would think she hadn't sang well enough. I suppose you could say she had the fear of judgement.
Something about this boy calmed her, perhaps it were the fact that he too was a dhampir, being with someone just like her was nice. "Do you come here often..?" she asked, assuming he did, after all he seemed to be very familiar with the instruments and room, as her herself were too.WC: 458@Simon KincaidOutfit:Reducio

Talking with @Winter Wolfhartz and soon to be @Avery Chen
It was probably the one song that Simon played the most. Initially it had been challenging for him and then after he got it down, there was just something about the piece. It was relaxing as well as dramatic. It seemed to speak words to him and help him sort out the thoughts that sometimes swirled inside his mind, whether it was worry over what was going on with Haley, stress over his studies, or the constant hounding from himself about that man that had visited his home in London back in July.
Simon wasn't expecting there to be an audience that particular moment, and while he didn't mind, he did jump slightly because it was unexpected. Usually, probably due to this dhampir nature, he was far more perceptive but there was something about music that got you lost in the moment.
"Oh, Winter...hey!" he smiled as he turned around, still sitting on the bench but facing towards her instead of the piano. He had done one of the errands with her at the end of last year and they talked some. He got a similar vibe from her that he did that man that made his visit but different. "It's great to see you again, too! How was Summer? How's Second Year treating you?" It was definitely more workload from the professors than first year!
"I do come here a lot, yea. I always wish I could bring this piano and somehow cram it into my dormitory," he smiled widely, glancing back to it. It was a great piano. "That or at least wheel it into the Hufflepuff Common Room. Maybe you can be my accomplice sometime and we can make the attempt?" He was kidding. ...Maybe. Maybe not.
"But hey, if you want me to scoot so you can do your thing, I can. Although, I don't mind you singing, you're not interrupting at all. This room is for all student use."
