While a plain and ordinary day was a gift that should be cherished at all costs due to their appearance being quite the rarity at the great school of hogwarts, Akari wasn’t exactly appreciative of the long morning of classes so so restlessly had endured. She never usually held much resentment towards her classes other than the fact that they made her part with the comfort and warmth of her bed each morning, but today specifically was a nuisance. In Akari’s mind it was comparable to an angel bestowing a miracle upon mankind when the students were finally dismissed from the classroom for lunch, and so you bet that Akari was the first one out that door.
Scooping up Kenji in one arm on the way, Akari dashed down to the great hall, and upon her arrival huffed quietly as she plopped down in a seat. She then promptly placed Kenji down on one side of her and then dropped the rest of her school materials on the table. Although it was indeed lunchtime, Akari’s attention couldn’t help but be drawn to the lovely little packet of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans she had so ingeniously brought along with her, and decided that they were the just the thing she needed to rectify the drag of the day she’d been putting up with. She honestly found them such an entertaining snack, and even though she would need to gulp down an unhealthy amount of juice if she received the unfortunate wrath of a nasty flavour, it nevertheless had yet to deter her.
Once pulling the packet out, she set it down on the table, but right before she was about to open it, out the corner of her eye she noticed that dear Kenji had so conveniently scampered off somewhere. She rolled her eyes briefly and sighed as she pushed herself out of her seat, and was just about to go off to fetch her sneaky cat when she did a small double take and glanced back at all her stuff lying open and defenceless on the table. It was ok to just leave it all there right? Well, she would only be gone for a few moments and it was not like there was anything even valuable anyway. Like who would want to steal a couple of random school books? So figuring that there was nothing to worry about, Akari turned on her heel and ducked out to retrieve Kenji.

Bless the founder of lunchtime or just eating time in general. And hopefully, those who had the idea to combine some ingredients and make it such a grace to the taste buds, including the house elves whose foods made Aurora’s mood raised from zero to one thousand live in the eternity of happiness. Every time the clock strikes to Hogwarts’ happy hour, Aurora would be one of the first people who arrived in the great hall.
Her choice of using a suitcase instead of a bag to carry all of her stuff around the castle was a great decision. But it made her lazier than ever to even open the book and study as it requires more energy to lay the suitcase on the table, then unlock the password lock, then unzip it, then open it, get the book, zip it again, lock it, put it down, and read. Aurora could never. Most of her books were still brand new, without any scratch or finger print. It would still be covered in plastic if it had one. The morning class made her stomach did a choir of how bad it was in need of food supply. In full speed, her short legs lead her into the heaven on Hogwarts, the great hall when the room was filled with beautiful scents of different types of food. Aurora sat on the table with the prettiest chocolate pudding without caring about what house table it was and start to dig through the source of happiness. Then something else caught her eyes. Bertie Bott? The nostalgia. Back when her father was still around, he always brought home wizarding snacks including those beans. Unfortunately, even as a child she never once got decent flavours. It was either a bad or a disgusting taste that left a weird aftertaste on her tongue.
In her defence, that bag of jellybean was laying unattended on the table, thus, anyone welcomed to take one or two candies.
Perhaps it was the karma of taking something that was not hers. It was bitter, sticky, and just weird. Somehow it reminded her of the school glue she accidentally ate when she was four or five. The original founder of the beans must have a hatred towards the rainbow haired girl. Maybe the dreadful bean luck was running in her blood. Aurora was everything but a quitter. Her life was on the line, if the next beans will be awful, there was no doubt she was cursed by someone. Violet Carrington must be the culprit behind every unpleasant experience. A second chance was given as she picked five more random beans and ate them all at once.Bean Rolls

Envelope Glue, Booger, Sprouts, Tomato, Banana, Marshmallow
For not even more than five seconds the girl tried to pin point the flavours, she spitted them out again. What a culinary disaster, it was sickening. No word could describe the deathly flavours combination inside her mouth. Even though some sweetness were there, probably a marshmallow or something, but the snot like taste overpowered the others. Enough Aurora! No more stealing.

Not too long later Kenji was back in Akari's arms, though he was not particularly happy to be escorted back to the place he had made such a dashing escape from.
Nevertheless, Akari began to make her way back towards the table where she had left her other possessions and was oblivious to the fact that her stuff was not exactly how she had left it. It had not even crossed her mind that something would be amiss.
It was not until after she had sat back down and had reached out to get a hold of the beans that she had previously been so keen on eating when she noticed something was a little bit off. It appeared as if the contents of the package had dwindled exceptionally. A perplexed frown began to form across the Gryffindor's face, and as much as she tried to let it go and continue on with her snacking, she just could not shake the feeling that her candy had been meddled with, and call her stubborn, but she would not stand for such thievery.
Who knew if she was actually on to something or not with this feeling though. It was honestly very much a possibility that this hunch could just be her mind playing stupid tricks on her, but alas, that's not how she chose to view it. Unless somehow the candy suddenly grew feet and ran away, the only logical explanation was that someone had the nerve to shove their grimy fingers in her sweets!
She looked around, trying to see if anyone gave of the "Hah I just stole your snack" vibe or had any other dead giveaways, such as sticky fingers, but it was quite hard to tell as everyone seemed to be minding their own business. Her gaze eventually fell upon a rainbow-haired girl who happened to be one of the closest people to her. Could she be the thief? Out of everyone she did look like she was in the best position to reach over and snatch some after all. But Akari had absolutely no proof, and was going out on a limb here with her accusation, but what could she do? She was not very chipper at the moment.
Annoyance taking over, Akari's eyes narrowed as she scooted closer to the girl and then cleared her throat while leaning forward and putting her elbows on the table as she started the interrogation. Her voice was suspicious as ever but had an underlying tone of frustration if you paid close attention. "Ehm, you, are you the one who took my beans?" Straight and to the point.

It was not a bean heist when it was surrounded by other foods in the great hall even though deep down she knew it belonged to someone else. But once her fingertips touched the packaging, the ownership of the bean fell to the hands of Aurora, at least that's what she thought. How many rules will the unicorn girl violate until she learns the lesson? A bean stealer, a bean pocketer is what Aurora was. A name that is forever tattooed behind her back for everyone to notice. She’s a crook who was caught red handed and yet, useless excuses were about to be thrown at the black haired girl's direction. “Y-your beans? Ha! O-of course-“ Yes, “-not” In a place with beautiful scents going around, it was not typical that the atmosphere turned into a stiffening discomfort. “Technically it was laying on the table unattended, so it was impossible for me to know who was the owner of the bean" Uncertainty mixed together with each and every word. However, never would she successfully lie on any occasion. In less than five seconds of confrontation, the truth was flowing out like a river. “Okay fine, I think I did, I took one, and two, and another, then another one, and another one, and another, so maybe, ten? I don’t know I lost count, do you want me to throw it up? I think I can do that. I am quite good with the slug spell, you can say it is my forte.” Lies. Forte was quite an exaggeration. She was not terrible at it by any means, but it was quite far away from outstanding grade if anyone saw that spell dreadfully backfired on herself back then.
Impossible was the best descriptor to depict her chance to run away as if both of her hands were handcuffed on the table while her legs on the bench. Still, that did not stop the Ravenclaw to try and smooth things out with cat talks, inspired by the cat on the bean owner’s arm. “S-such a cute cat! I have a cat too, his name is Lucifur Morningsneeze because he kept making me sneeze and had asthma attacks almost every morning, but I call him Lucy the Devil or just Lucy without the devil. OH AND SPEAK OF THE DEVIL-“ Aurora raised her arm, then looked at the invisible watch on her wrist, “-Oh my, it’s Lucifur’s feeding time! I have to go and feed him or he would be extra grumpy! BYEBYE!” There was no way she would get away that easily. Or would she?

With her hands still clasped together tightly, Akari patiently waited for the accused to confess.
It could be argued that a small twitch in the corner of her right eye could briefly be spotted when the girl had tried to plead innocent. So... had Akari just made a complete fool of herself with a wrongful accusation? How awkward.
Then luckily, right before she had nearly convinced herself of her foolishness, to her great relief the girl not more than mere moments after her doubt, suddenly cracked, and out came the ugly truth. Aha! She knew it! Perhaps being an interrogator/detective was her calling.
"But it was right next to my stuff" Akari mumbled under her breath at hearing the daft excuse the girl had given her.
Akari then took a deep breath and retreated back into her regular sitting position while contemplating what her next course of action should be. It's not like she had ever dealt with a bean thief before.
"YoU WhaT? Oh gosh, please no! You know what, just keep them down now... Please..." She replied hastily, her expression turning into one of absolute revolt, and then was followed by her hands shooting up to cover her eyes. The only thing that could make this situation more horrid, was a pile of thrown-up slugs. She shuddered at the thought.
Then Kenji was brought in the mix. Oh boy, what had she gotten herself into?
It would be just a little tiny bit of a lie if Akari said she wasn't at all tempted to engage in the cat talk, at least by uttering a small thank you to the compliment, but she quickly had to remember this most certainly was all just a show to make her forget about the previous events and so this girl could get off scot-free.
Unfortunately, that wasn't going to happen, not that easily.
A frown appeared on Akari's face as the girl went on a tangent about her own cat, and just as she had the audacity to try to up and leave, Akari stood up and placed her hands on her hips and called out "Nuh uh, not so fast"
First, this girl stole her candy, then offered to puke it back up along with some slugs, then tried to distract her with cat talk, and now was trying to run away?! Nope, nope, nope.
"Listen here thief lady. I was just trying to spruce up this dreadfully boring old hag of a day with some of my sweets, and you tried to deny me that opportunity! And even worse, you kind of, sort of succeeded" She burst out with a huff.
That was not fair. Not even in the slightest.
"You owe me"
