Paige couldn't help but feel extra proud as she dodged all those attacks.. but one. Just nearly, though! The thing is, it was okay to be proud since she had dodged about 4 or 3 attacks or something... she had no time to count. She bounced on her toes, feeling extra confident now that she had dodged a bunch of attacks. that would show those girls not to mess with her. With new motivation, and the looming risk of having to jump in the lake as a loser, she held her water gun at the ready in case she needed it. It would be cool, though, if she shot someone who was shooting at her at the same time. That would be interesting.

For now, though, she was safe. No one was coming at her, and she wasn't about to hold her arms out yelling to make herself a target. It was best to keep her head down and just attack. She looked at the ground, and suddenly realzied she hadn't really... moved. She was hopping around in place, yes, but she's been staying in the same area, safe away from others.

Maybe that's why she wasn't getting that many hits. What if she sneaked up? Or if she got closer! She didn't recall anyone saying it was against the rules... there was a loop hole. Now, she had two choices. She could aim at the birthday boy, or at someone else.

The thing is, she wasn't sure hitting the birthday boy would do much, she wasn't sure if he was officially playing. Now, hitting someone else, there was a risk. They might want revenge and get her back.

However, Scarlet seemed to give up on Paige and stopped aiming at her. So maybe that person would give up, too, and not get revenge. She finally decided, trusting that others would attack the birthday boy.

She already had an idea of who to hit, a girl she hasn't interacted with much yet. The girl seemed fun, though with her red hair and mischievous look about her face. She gave off great vibes, and Paige liked it. However, this was war and she would attack even if she liked said person.

She crept through the area, straying away from flying water, until she was close enough to the girl that her hit would be somewhat accurate. Or so she hoped. She took aim, and fired, crossing her fingers the girl wouldn't move.

'It's official, this thing must be cursed,' Scarlet thought to herself when she missed yet another shot, she looked back to where she had originally picked up the water gun and there were still a couple left, laying on the floor, luckily some people had opted for their wands. She was pretty sure the gun wasn't in fact actually cursed but she definitely wasn't having any luck with it, 'maybe I'll have better luck with you,' she thought as the picked up one of the other guns from the ground, leaving in it's place the one she had been using up till that point.

At least she hadn't gotten more wet in that last round, it took no effort on her part to dodge an incoming attack from girl she recognised as being a part of the Slytherin Quidditch team (Cash), "I'm over here," she called out to the girl, having watched the water land quite a distance away from her. "I thought people on the quidditch team were supposed to have a good aim," she said smiling at the girl.

Scarlet thought she would make her life easier by choosing a, hopefully easy, target. She looked around, taking note of the extent to which the other students had gotten wet. She noticed a girl with jet black hair (Gabriella) who looked completely soaked compared to everyone else, she readied her gun, aiming at the girl. 'Hopefully your dodging is as bad as my aim has been,' she thought to herself as she took the shot.

You betrayal me again! when she her gun failed to hit the targeted person. The part of her brain said it was because of her and not because of the water gun, she couldn’t accept it. She would just want to complain about her water gun again but no action was taken last time and she believes nothing would happen even if she does it again. Her tight grip on the gun loosened not to the level of falling down but to the level of swinging in her hands.

Already it was so embarrassing and now they Cash couldn’t stop disturbing her. This time she didn’t even try to remain calm, “I SAID SHUT UP! IF IT IS SO TOUGH I COULD HELP YOU BY STITCHING YOUR LIPS TOGETHER, WHAT DO YOU SAY?” and her whole face flushed red and quivered a bit as she clenched her teeth. This was so embarrassing to the level she wants to leave the place but she wouldn’t, she wouldn’t leave a place because of someone else’s behaviour.

The blonde turned away from them giving a cold glare for a few moments chanting ‘psycho’ in her head as she controlled her urge to shout that word on their face, until she felt contented. partly because she was scared to do so and also because she didn’t like giving people rude nicknames but she couldn’t avoid this particular name and this particular person. Manners? Look who’s talking about manners she thought as she grimaced. At least now she got to know their name but still, she thought ‘psycho’ suits them better than any other.

The last time when Scarlet suggested hitting the french boy, she didn’t and even though she wanted to go with their plan, she couldn’t this time. Her eyes were again fixed on that person who used to have purple hair, without saying a word she just aimed at them and pulled the trigger of the water gun, fully aware of what would happen if she didn’t succeed.

Sébastien had never been more humiliated in his life. No9t only did he fail to hit Charlie but was also hit by Snow white and Charles! It was the worst thing in the world to every happen to him. How on earth would he be able to show Cassie's 'other friends' that he was actually way cooler than they thought he was.

He spluttered and then scowled. It was not on. There would be no way for him to redeem himself now. All hope was lost. He had lost his beautiful cheeks and now his dignity was being stripped away from him piece by piece.

"Shut up, Cushion." He snapped and glared at Cassie, "Isn't it obvious I'm way out of practice? I was lying in a bed for six months." Berry then scoffed and shook his head towards her request for him to break a rule. Even if hell froze over there was no way he would break a rule just to get soaked in more water.

The boy then whipped his head around to hear Charles comment, "And you! Shut up! I don't need practice. I'm perfectly good on my own and you could try showing your undying loyalty by not annoying me." Berry furrowed his eyebrows quickly and shook his head. He felt as if everyone was picking on him because he was the bloody birthday boy. They had no right. No right at all.

Letting his head fall down slightly, Sébastien sniffed and rubbed his nose with his free hand as partially wet strands of hair fell into his eyes. How could he be so bad at making first impressions? This was meant to be a fun time for him but all he felt was sorrow and solitude. It felt as though no one actually cared about him. Maybe he just wasn't good enough to have more than one friend.

"No. You can't give up. You are defiantly better than them at anything. Especially broom racing." He said to himself quietly looking around for a target. He wanted to go for someone how yet had no beef with him at all. Berry's eyes scanned the area and landed on the one person he knew he had a high possibility of hitting. Aiming his gun, he prepared to fire towards the little girl who seemed to be shouting at someone else.

The second part of the game was getting into full swing, but Gabriella found she was enjoying it less and less. She felt less as part of the fight, more just a mini-fight with Scarlett. And now, even the new referee, Cattie, was turning against her. "Also, for the record, Scar does not look like a dead fox, and please stop calling her short, you overconfident beanpole." Scarlett herself echoed Cattie's words.
"Bold words coming from a girl resembling a giraffe!" mocked Scarlett. "And anyway, it's not like your own hair is any better."
"But dear Scarlett is short," said Gabby, sarcastically. She turned to Scarlett. "Don't hide from the truth, Scar," she grinned venomously, using the nickname Cattie had given from her. "You are short. Don't let her give you a false sense of security. Don't worry though, I got your back. I think the dead-fox look really suits you."

Suddenly, another wave of water crossed Gabby's path - the source of which she didn't know - and she struggled to dodge it. "It's ok, laugh if you want," said Gabriella in a hollow voice. A wave of guilt had suddenly overcome her and she felt inclined to let Scarlett pour a whole bucket of water over her head. She was going to lose anyway, right? Anyway, what had Scarlett done really? Sure, she had publicly mocked her and her worst enemy, and Gabriella disliked her for that. But did it deserve... this? Besides, as Cattie had said, it was getting a little boring. Maybe Scarlett would want to continue their petty duel, but Gabby no longer wanted to stoop to that level. With Tory, sure, but never with Scarlett - she didn't hate the redhead nearly as much as that. "Hey," she said, attempting to be casual. "How about a truce? Just for the last moments of the game... you know, if there's anyone else you want to shoot..." She glanced at the previous commentator, the one Scarlett had previously had a feud with, hoping that she would get the hint and pursue him instead. "It's ok if you don't want to of course, but I'm gonna fancy my chances hitting someone else."

Promptly, she swivelled round and shot the first person she caught sight of, who happened to be her own Ravenclaw teammate, Lavinia. She shot, praying that she would hit and wouldn't have made a fool of herself in front of Scarlett and Cattie. "See? Variety. Hope that spices things up a little for you," she spat in Cattie's direction, stalking off and hoping that Scarlett wouldn't decide to pursue her. "Sorry about that, Lavinia. Had to shoot someone."

CHARLES wasn't having the best of luck today as not one but two people aimed at him at the same time. Both LAVINIA and STARLEE fired and Charles used all of his skill to dive out of the way before they both hit, sacrificing a go at firing at someone else to do so.

"Ah, tough luck," Cassie sympathised with Snow White and... the other girl. Had Berry given her a nickname? Cassie couldn't even remember. She shot a mischievous grin at Charles. "It was kinda funny watching you dive out of the way though. Like a goalie. You know? In football?"

MILOSH just wanted to stay dry. He moved his wand upwards and cast a pretty good umbrella charm.

"I mean, I guess you're gonna stay dry?" Cassie said. "Even though nobody's actually shooting at you. You do realise that, right?"

SCARLETT hadn't moved much, but she also just managed to get out of the way before PAIGE's jet of water hit her. It wasn't even all that close - all the lioness had to do was to step aside.

"That was a little disappointing," Cassie admitted. "But hey, try again, do! Make sure that you're aiming really, really well." Maybe most people wouldn't encourage people to soak their friends, but hey! Cassie had never claimed to be most people. "Scar, you should stand still if you really want to get as wet as I am."

Meanwhile, SCARLET didn't mind who she hit anymore as long as she managed to hit someone. And this resolution seemed to be paying off, because her aim was picture perfect as she shot towards GABRIELLA, who didn't even have the chance to get out of the way before she was hit square on the chest by the Slytherin, who was probably feeling quite a lot bettwe right about now.

"Dude." Cassie was amazed. "I tell you, if there was, like, a textbook somewhere about how to aim water guns at someone, you would have, like, a chapter dedicated to that shot. Wish I could've got a photo of that, honestly." Also, it didn't hurt that the victim had been the girl who'd been insulting Scarlett. That was a bonus.

Things weren't going well for VIVIAN. Things had gotten personal. With a glare on her face that could have melted diamond, she aimed square at the face of CASSANDRA - but although her aim wasn't too bad CASSANDRA managed to move out of the way before anything even splattered onto their shoes.

"Well." Cassie wasn't quite sure what to say to that but decided to plow ahead anyway. "Pure hate is fun, I guess, but you also need to be able to aim. Try taking, like, deep breaths or something. I dunno." Oh, Cassie was so great at this! She was helping Vivian improve! Wasn't she great?!

SEBASTIEN also wasn't having a great day, but he was determined to turn things around. This was his birthday party! He was so much better than everyone else! He needed an easy target... so he aimed for the angry blonde who had only just missed her shot. VIVIAN must either have been in shock or just incredibly angry, because she didn't even seem to notice SEBASTIEN until a jet of water fell on top of her head.

"Woo!" Cassie cheered for her friend, who she could tell wasn't feeling great. This would cheer him up though, right?! "See, you just needed to get back into it! I bet everyone's just trembling to look at you." She paused. "Just joking. You're terrible at being scary. But still! Sorry Vivian."

GABRIELLA, on the other hand, was feeling... bad? Suddenly overcome with remorse for her treatment of SCARLETT, she instead turned and shot at LAVINIA, aka Snow White. What with the older girl's track record, GABRIELLA probably wasn't holding her breath - but although LAVINIA attempted to move out of the way she still couldn't avoid the water which rained down upon her.

"Snow White has been beaten again!" Cassie gasped. "Berry! Did you see that?" She gestured frantically to Snow White. "Look! She got hit again!"

Perhaps hoping to take advantage of SEBASTIEN's distraction, SHANELLE picked up her newly refilled gun and aimed at the birthday boy. Unluckily for her, however, SEBASTIEN managed to move away before he got any wetter than he already was.

"Dow," Cassie said, trying and failing not to be a little disappointed. "That would've been kinda funny. But hey, Berry, you're obviously back on your game! Now you just need to slow down for a bit so you can reach my level of wet-ness," she grinned.
