"Wow, I had no idea you were so focused on my butt. Please, you'll make me blush," Arjan responded, jokingly but definitely cockily. He would definitely not blush - not in the slightest - but he was enjoying teasing her. Despite the conversation, his eyes were still focused on the game.

It was a little harder to swing when he had one hand on Nikita's waist - or urm, broom? Wherever it was. And whilst he was trying to swing the bat without accidentally whacking the pretty girl in the face. She had, after all, saved his butt - as she put it. He could not repay her by breaking her face. On this field, she was actually in the safest position - at least from him. He would never willingly attack her. He was half tempted to throw a bludger at that Alluring kid that kept harassing him all the frickin' time. Or you know, that one time when the teenagers were talking, he kept interrupting.

Whacking the bludger as best as he could - which was a little harder when he was not the one controlling the broom and had no idea what direction Nikita intended to fly in - whilst trying not to accidentally whack her, he launched it towards the target. "Don't have to tell me twice, ma'am," He responded, quickly ducking as he spotted the second bludger incoming - towards them.

His eyes narrowed on a guy he did not recognise. Ah, one of the Beauxbatons players? Interesting... Well, two could play at that game.

Finally, she was back on her own, trusty broom. Scarlett would relish the experience after the nightmare that was sharing a broom with Anastasia. Well. At least it wouldn't happen again.

Scarlett flew over to Decipio, who she was going to defend as the only Beater not occupied on their team. Gris was down, and Kage was returning to her broom, which left only her. The other teams always went for the seeker first, so why on earth were they wasting blatches and bludgers on the beaters? Beaters played an important role, of course, but seekers won you the game. It was perplexing, and rather annoying too.

Anyway, she raised her bat, prepared to direct Bludgers away from Decipio, when said Bludger came hurtling at her. Gee, how wonderful. With a little grunt, she would bat the ball away from Decipio's direction, making an exasperated noise as she did so. Scarlett was exhausted. She had only recently recovered from being knocked out and she was already back into the thick of things, whacking metal balls towards opponents - as was the life of a Quidditch player. At this point, the only thing fuelling her was her determination to win, and her determination not to end up on Anastasia's broom again.

Decipio yelled something at her, which Scarlett could make out as somewhat of a thank you. She raised her hand in acknowledgement and yelled in return. "No problem! I am amazing, I know." And then she muttered more to herself. "Can't have you dying anytime soon."

The next attack came swiftly. A blatch. Scarlett barely had time to whisper, "Oh shit," before she flew right into the blatcher's path. Instead of Decipio, the blatch hit her and she barely had time to think about how she should get a medal for her noble actions before tumbling off her broom, her vision going dark.

When she came back to consciousness, she was on a broom. "Thanks." The words came out of Scarlett's mouth as a reflex. She might be disorganised, loud and frankly, chaotic, but she wasn't a barbarian. Who was on save duty again? Pierre? D'Spacito? Ana-

"F**KING MERLIN!" she shrieked, inventing a whole new profanity on the spot. Such was her situation. Scarlett's brain seemed to just shut down. Nononononononono, this cannot be happening, nononononono-

But it was happening. She had just been knocked out. Again.

She was sitting on a broom with Anastasia Beckett.

It would seem as things were going swimmingly, the Captain couldn’t help but note as he circulated the perimeter of the pitch, deep brown eyes scanning the pitch for signs of unwanted action from the other team. All according to plan, and thankfully so. But he would do well not to jinx the situation – correcting his posture in the slightest, he leaned forward, allowing his broom to pick up speed in the direction of sweet liberation. He’d had his fun. It was time to play once more.

After he had swung a bludger straight towards the head of a guy he somewhat recognised, and missed, he turned around to fly in the opposite direction, watching what else was going on on the pitch, normally he just paid attention to his opponents that had been strategised beforehand.

However, he had turned just in time to watch the quaffles go in, bringing his team in the lead. A grin appeared on his face as he weaved about, thinking about what to do next.

Cassie whacked, it hit, and she waited to see if he'd fall to the ground. He didn't, which was annoying, but at least the Wixes were now tying with the Gryffindors for lead. The beater glared at Charles when he tried to obstruct her view of the pitch and flew a little higher so as to see over him... "Nope. Stop distracting me." This was sport, and there wasn't time for Cassie to joke with her rivals.

There was chaos all around, and Suzuki took advantage of it to return to her own broom. It would be easier for her to concentrate on the game if she was back on her own broom. After managing to get back on without getting her brains getting bludgered out, she observed the game around her. Hogwarts wasn't doing so well anymore, but at least they weren't doing the worst. Wixes had gotten 50 points. Hydra had none, and Hogwarts had 20. Scarlett had gotten whacked off her broom, in much the same fashion that Suzuki had. At least she hadn't fallen to the ground- then she would've been out.

Akari grimaced and quickly covered Figaro's eyes as she watched Scarlett get knocked off her broom, yet again. Though a small exhale of relief followed shortly after as luckily before all was lost she was saved from a painful landing once more.
Contrary to last times mumbles of frustration when the Wixes managed to score, this time she actually only shook her head. No matter, the snitch was still on the loose and therefore she was still confident that the Gryffs would pull through.

The near fifth year would grab Evelynn by her wrist as he twist around and launched her in the direction of the snitch, on her cue. He followed her movement with his eyes as soon as he balanced himself out, but watched as she missed the snitch by a lot. His brows furrowed as he got a bit upset for messing this up for her, if only he had been better at calculating when to let go of her. "Sorry about that, Evelynn, you got this!" he called out, having a lot of confidence in her.
