Why am I here?

Aldor is unpredictable, all she expected was a simple yes or no but instead, he gave a big speech. He is interesting but hereafter if anyone asks her what superpower she wants to have, she would choose to be a mind reader at least that way she could read his mind. Her jaw dropped a little and her face was expressionless and her hands didn’t move away from his cheeks. Why is he saying he wasn’t a good friend? That’s not true! He is, to Vivian. He even agreed to her calling him stupid, but no! It was just out of anger, she was stupid to not control her words.
As a teardrop fell from his eyes, her thumb brushed it away from his cheek as she mouth, “Don’t cry”, tho there was no sound and a few teardrops started running down her cheeks. Did he say ‘he likes her so much’? It’s the second time and somehow it made her blush and smile, making her forget all her hurt and tension which filled her mind a moment ago. Dates! Dates! Dates! that’s awesome but... she doesn’t know anything about dates. She hasn’t dated before and has never seen what people would do when they go on date.
Help! that’s what she needs now but who would?! His sorry distracted her away from her thoughts, how cute he is to say sorry! Without thinking she released his cheek from her hands but only to hug him. oh my god! What have I done?!, her eyes widened at her own sudden behaviour. Is he going to push her away? It’s not going to be a surprise even if he did that but... it was nice, she liked it. Pressing her chin on his shoulder she finally started to talk.
“Ah, sorry if you didn’t like it” that’s what she stared with and winced at herself. If he didn’t push her away, she moved back and grabbed his shoulder gently, “You were a great friend and you will be a great.... boyfriend” her face blushed red at the last word. “And I am stupid, you’re not, sorry for saying that!” as she shook her head. She took time before saying each sentence as it made her so nervous and also that she couldn’t stop smiling. “You’re not at all selfish, you’re a wonderful person and I like- no I... love you no matter what” as she loosened the grip off from his shoulder and placed her hands on her lap.
“If you want to date me, I am totally ready but don’t say that you don’t want to date me, again” she smiled at him with a doubt in her eyes, it was hard to understand him but still she liked him a lot. She didn’t know how or what made her fell for him but know it’s clear she loves him.

Why am I here?
He was a bit scared when she reached for him for a hug, in fact, he shivered for a few seconds, but he did not stop her, it was strange, he was usually the one to go in for a hug to let people know he was ok with hugging. But this time Vivian was the one to go first, and he didn't know what to think of it. His skin was always cold, but Vivian made him feel warm for some reason, even if he was still trying to get used to the feeling of her arms around him, he didn't fight it.
He listened to her words carefully, he didn't have much to say at this point, and for once, his brain wasn't racing with thoughts and concern, all he was focused on was Vivian's voice.
''I-I won't-''
Aldor smiled a little, his eyes were still a bit red, but he seemed to be finally calm, smiling, even if it was just a little. The only problem was that just like Vivian, he had no clue of what people was supposed to do once they were dating, he knew there were things like holding hands or talking, spending time together in general, but he didn't truly know much apart of that.
For now, maybe he was supposed to learn, maybe he was going to ask his siblings, but of course, Henry Knight wasn't exactly the sort of person who seemed to care much about dating, and Rose Moon well, he didn't want to bother her with questions. He had an idea for a second, his aunt could help, but suddenly he realized that she would most likely start asking him questions about Vivian over and over for the rest of his days.
He looked back at Vivian, it was pretty late, or it seemed like it, since the few students that were in the library were already marching out of the place. Aldor didn't say anything, he would wait for whenever Vivian wanted to go, this is what he could do, and he was happy with it, one of his worries was gone, and things turned out even better than he expected.
''So- S-Since we are going to go out with each other, should we- plan that sort of thing or should it be more spontaneous? We can just go out normally like before it doesn't have to be anything special either y-you know?-''
He sniffled quietly as he forced his mind to stay quiet, he wasn't going to overthink everything anymore, things would be better now, or that was what he was expecting.

All she could do was smile and shrug a bit when she felt his shiver at first, she didn’t make him feel uncomfortable, did she? Whatever she didn’t want him to look at her smiling at that time, what if he said that she was having fun, AGAIN? That still hurt but she didn’t want to show it. She was glowing, at least he didn’t push her away which made her assume he liked her hug. Her face blushed and she was all smiles when he said that he won’t. “Okay” she looked away to hide her blushing face. Only then she believed that even just two words can make her happy.
Her smile grew brighter looking at his smile, it was just a slight smile but still, it mattered to her, she just loved seeing him smile. Everything seems new this day, she never felt this towards anyone before. She was a bit lost in thoughts with her eyes fixed on Aldor with a smile that didn’t seem to fade away even a little. Nothing seemed to catch her attention now, she was not aware of anything going around her. His green eyes, his red hair and everything about him attracted her he just looked so perfect in her eyes nowadays, all this never happened last year.
Only when he started talking, she drifted from all her thoughts. She flinched, planning for a date is tough and it’s impossible for her. What should she say now? She didn’t have any idea what they should do on a date, maybe she could ask her best friend. Sam hasn’t dated before but what if her friend surprised her with an idea, maybe she should ask her about what she should do but she just said with a nervous smile, “Yes spontaneous, what do you say?”, this was a safe move.
Even if he says it doesn’t have to be special, the thought of a date with him seemed so special to her. Even if it’s going to be spontaneous, they should at least have an idea of where and when to meet, “Maybe we can have our first date tomorrow, near the Great Lake, hm?” with a quick raise of eyebrows.

Terrible Presence in effect
He looked back up at Vivian. He was a little surprised, he thought that planning would take a bit more time, then again, he usually took a lot of time to give answers or take decisions, it was a bad habit.
He knew this very well, even at the current point in time, he was already struggling to think about what he should wear for the date, maybe something a bit casual, or maybe something a bit more formal, but he didn't want to look like he was going to a job interview or anything like that, but there was no way that he could go out with her wearing his old hoodie and shorts, it was an important day.
''Oh it- sounds great.''
He was happy, he didn't think things would go this well. He felt like he didn't quite deserve any of this, he apologized for what he said, but he thought there had to be a way to fix things, Vivian deserved better than just an apology, right? Maybe spending more time with her, showing that he actually cared and wasn't going to ever say something that could hurt her on pupose.
''I will be there as soon as classes are over.''
He gave her a gentle smile as he managed to look into her eyes again, but this time, he didn't look uncomfortable or scared, he was changing, slowly, but it was an improvement.
Inside of Aldor's heart there was something that still remained even after so many days of worrying, a tiny spark of hope. And now that spark seemed to be growing into a wildfire, somehow, he felt like he had control over his situation again but there was something missing. confidence, he probably needed more of that if he wanted to make things go well in the future. He needed to stop worrying about nonsense.
But it was worth it, for Vivian.

Her smile grew even bigger and her eyes sparkled when he looked at her and smiled, but this time it was her who couldn’t look properly at his eyes. blinking rapidly, her head turned away from him quickly. As soon as the classes are over? That means she have only very few hours to prepare, her eyes squinted looking down at her school robes. Not even 24 hours, and she doesn’t know about dating. What should she do? A line formed on her forehead as she kept thinking about it. The first thing, she has to plan what to wear, how she should style her hair. What she should take and not take with her? What she should do? What she shouldn’t? Her head was filled with lots of questions. why is dating so tough?
Realising she have been silent for a quite few minutes, she turned to look at Aldor with a smile but the confusion in her eyes was still visible. “I’ll be there as soon as possible”, she wasn’t sure about how quick she would be there but she would try to get ready soon and reach the Great Lake without making him wait for a long period. Now, her mind was filled with Samantha. Tho her friend has not dated before, she felt she could be the best-est person who could help her with this. Jumping to her feet, “Okay, I’ll see you tomorrow in the Great Lake, after school, sharp” with a loud whisper as she didn’t want to disturb others and the ‘Sharp’ was more like a question. She turned away and fast moved few steps but stopped suddenly.
With a half shrug “Uh, I am sorry, I disturbed you during your book time, it won’t happen again, okay? Bye!” when she moved closer to him. Waving bye to him, she moved away chanting ‘Sam’ until she would reach her friend. First love. First date. Tomorrow is a special day for her.

He didn't even get the chance to say much with how quickly she walked away, but he was really happy, it showed in his smile, he didn't mind being interrupted anymore, he thought things would go downhill when they began arguing, but the universe had a strange way of making things work, one moment you are sad and worried, and the other you are already preparing yourself for a date.
He stood up, looking around him as he tapped his foot on the floor one time, this was real, he wasn't dreaming at all. His smiled seemed to become greater as he took the books he was reading and returning them to their safe place of rest, their shelves.
Somehow, he felt like he wanted to scream at the top of his lungs and throw his fist in the air. Well, maybe not inside the library, but at some other point he would, he wasn't sure of how things would go in the future, but he was going to try his best to make things go well, tomorrow would be perfect, or at least that was Aldor's plan, he knew he wanted it to be perfect, because he wanted Vivian to be happy and enjoy her time with him.
First date, he wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly. The kid who was always worried and did his best to remain isolated, was now smilling while he went back to the dorms without really caring about anything around him. He didn't need to stay in the 'safety' of his head any longer, he was free, he was happy. All he could do now was rest and tell everything that had happened to Freyja, although, she would probably be a bit too busy eating something or sleeping to even care about anything else around her.
Tomorrow would be a special day for him.
