It was a day unlike any other, winter as always was in the courtyard leaning against the big tree, outside just as the morning struck so she would have her alone time in the courtyard. She had been minding her own business, eyes closed listening to the beautiful sounds of nature. "HONK HONK" a loud honking noise interrupted her peace. Opening her red eyes, she met faces with a duck, no a goose! What was a goose doing in Hogwarts? She looked around for someone, seeing nothing but, MORE GEESE?! There had been multiple white feathered beings scattered in the courtyard. "What in the-" she began speaking when once again she was interrupted "HONK!"

Winter attempted to shoo the bird away, but that goose was just not having it. A yelp escaped winters mouth as it nipped at her, grabbing a hold of her boot with its long orange beak. She quickly got up, making her way into the open, away from the tree, and the goose. What was all that about? She thought it was over until she heard floppity footsteps hitting the dew covered grass. THE DARN THING WAS RUNNING STRAIGHT AT HER. Winters eyes widened, she turned around and made a run for it, she knew how stupid she looked, making circles around the tree, running past the other geese being chased by this scary little honker. She squealed, hoping someone would see and come to help her, that is if they weren't too afraid to get involved.

"PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!"

Lea had heard some mutterings among classmates, but had paid them no mind. Her focus had been more on going outside to get a breath of air as she continued her studies. Whatever drama or gossip was circling, it could be learned about later. Carrying a backpack with all of her books, the girl would step outside, redoing one of her braids as it had started to get loose. Perhaps it was time to change out the stretched elastic band.

It was the scream that caught the second year off guard, quickly wrapping the band around her hair until it was tight before racing forward to figure out what the noise had been about. The white-haired girl was the first thing Lea noticed, confused why a person would scream and run around a tree- until she saw the goose. And then the hoard of geese. "Oh no," the girl muttered to herself, quickly searching her pockets for her wand. So this is what the others had been talking about...

One goose would sneak away from the pack, forming a large circle-

Finally, the wand was in her hand, her feet inching closer to the target so as not to miss. The hufflepuff wouldn't notice the goose waddling up behind her, rearing it's head down and speeding towards her.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The tree goose would begin to hover just as the sneaky goose crashing into the back of Lea's knees. Legs unable to hold her up anymore, the girl crumpled, wand sending the targeted goose into the air- still under her spell- and the other narrowly dodging her heavy backpack. The very same backpack would be abandoned as the hufflepuff hastily got up, knees now heavily scraped, a goose now helplessly dangling midair, and the hoard (including the sneaky goose) deciding their next victim. Two students versus a hoard- this wouldn't turn out badly at all.

Jeez, what a day, woke up so early just to make her way down to the courtyard. only to be attacked by a goose- I suppose that was what all the students had been talking about in the dorms, but they were EVERYWHERE! Winter's shrieks and cries for help had paid off, a student, seeming to be a fellow Hufflepuff came to save her. Winter had tripped over a root, landing on her arm, and just before the goose had the chance to attack "Wingardium Leviosa!" she heard the girl yell, the feisty goose getting yanked up into the air. Winter sighed in relief, seeing the girl fall from another goose attack, she sprung up and ran over to the girl, whose knees were now scratched up.

"A-are you alright..?" she asked looking at the girl's knees. "Uhm t-thanks for helping me..." she spoke softly, grabbing her arm with her one hand, rubbing it nervously. More geese would continue to run all over the grounds, caring not where they were going nor where they would end up. Thinking about it again winter wondered about what the other students were saying, 'people were being asked to help gather the geese / furniture'. The words rushed through winters head as she would peer across the courtyard, she could never gather them all on her own- perhaps she could ask this stranger?

"Sorry where are my manners... i-i'm Winter, Winter Wolfhartz" an introduction seemed just right, well considering she wasn't about to just ask her to help gather these geese without sort of knowing each other. Her red eyes met that of the girls, the question at the tip of her tongue. "Uh I'm sure you have heard all the rumors about the geese furniture, and I know we are just meeting now b-but uhm.. would you mind helping me gather them all up..?" she finally asked, before the girl could answer winter would once again speak, giving her question a sort of reasoning behind it "y-you know, before anyone else gets attacked...?"

That was enough to exhaust her, if only she weren't so worried about the other geese around. A glare would be thrown their way, before she looked at the person who had been previously chased, tilting her head curiously. "Y-yeah, I'm fine." The adrenaline stopped the girl from being aware of the new scratches, and brown eyes didn't bother to look down. "Are- are you... alright?" She was parroting now, but this student also tripped- neither were likely at their peek.

Winter. A name was assigned to a face, Lea bobbing her head slightly as she repeated the word in her head. "L-Lea, Hirsch." That was her name after all. Her attention slipped back to the geese as other questions arose from Winter, making sure they had no more attacks planned. "Fur-furniture? That's what they are?" Her surprise caught her stuttering, squinting at the geese to see if any looked like cushions or desks. They didn't, but it certainly provided a new way to deal with them- unlike making them all float...

Where had that goose gone?!

"Uh, sure," the hufflepuff replied quickly, glancing around the corridor to figure out what had happened to the flying goose. It had vanished, but at least it wasn't attacking anyone else. I guess we've lost a chair, she thought to herself. The panic would reside, if it was ever noticeable at all, turning her attention back to the other student. "Y-you know the un-un trans-fid-fig-uration spell, right? W-would that work?" It was furniture after all.
