Welcome to the Phoenix Cabin

Interacts with @Vladimir Athanatos and @Isaac Lee Shu Hui
Even though Vlad was obviously bigger and taller, he didn't intimidate Gray in the slightest. To him, that didn't even matter, if the pair of them ever came to blows that factor wouldn't even benefit him by the slightest. Releasing a small smirk from his first strike comment he calmly shrugged "Trust me, Vlad, if I had a problem you wouldn't be standing right now. and that would be after getting your attention..." he said in reference to the other student's cheap attacks on him. If they were looking to get revenge, the very least they could do was make it fair.
His next comment surprised him slightly, making Gray raise a brow and shooting another gaze to the newcomer "Wow, that's quite respectable of you Vlad. But please, if anyone decides to do anything please don't drag him into your mess. I don't feel like giving detention to a kid who has only been on Hogwarts grounds less than a month" he warned, his head finally turning to Shu-Hui after his own comment "And yes, you're right. That's why I offer my apologies for the intrusion" Percival said with a clear sigh "Don't be surprised if there's more of it though, a lot of the students can't seem to grasp the concept of manners and personal space"
Being here for almost three years Percival knew what most of them were like by now, so it was only to give the newcomers a word of warning before encountering the different characters they had sulking around the castle "The names Percival Gray, by the way, Slytherin prefect..." he said with a small nod to the Hufflepuff out of introduction "I'm sure Vlad will keep you somewhat safe, but if you have any questions that he can't answer don't hesitate to find me" he huffed before standing beside the tall Vlad and looking over to the bed that contained the medical supplies
"By the way, Vlad, me and you will need to chat sooner or later. Preferably without any extra ears" he said up to him, his face turning serious for a few seconds from the proposal. In truth, he didn't want to talk about a disastrous event in front of new students as well as make them scared before even setting foot in the castle. Nonetheless, they were sure to see the ugly side of the school sooner or later

Bunk mate: Soon to be Serafine [@Lamont Runesby]Anastasia was exited to go to the summer camp that was being organized at Hogwarts, and waited for the day she was going to go back to England in exitement. To be honest, she was happy to leave the Koldovstoretz conservatory, for she believed that Hogwarts was...fancier, and much more cool, since, well, it was much, much older than Koldov.
When she arrived to camp at last, she knew that she had been assigned a cabin to stay in. She could only pray that Rodion and Luka weren't there, because...to be honest, she was a bit tired of them following her around. She had to meet someone new, somebody that would treat her like a friend, somebody that she wouldn't fight with every second they spent together
When she finally arrived at the Phoenix (my, that sounded fancy) cabin, she looked around for any sign of her friends, and when she saw that they weren't there, she sighed in relief. Now she was actually looking at the cabin she was entering, instead of looking if Rodion and Luka were there. To be honest...Ana liked the cabin she was assigned. It felt like home, with wood and rocks everywhere as the construction. And the bunk beds felt comfy when she approached them and sat down on the top one, and looked around to see what she would be able to do. She really hoped that somebody would come and talk to her, so that she could meet someone new.

Welcome to the Phoenix Cabin
@Percival Gray & @Isaac Lee Shu Hui
Everything has a dual meaning when said by the cryptic youth. It was a common saying in his family, well his specific branch at the very least - Salutations and Salamanders.
The new guy was a safe choice, untainted and unbothered by the rumors. Not that such peace would last for long, sadly he was as he well-knew, was incredibly suspicious.
Medicine. For a disease that is not contagious.
Picking the youngest among them as a peer and a bunkmate. Did the boy have no other friends? Well, no he did not. Not really. But he could have an enthusiastic ally for a couple of short weeks in case all of his planning went to shit.
"Yeah, sure!"
The boy was happy to oblige, a strange departure from the norm. No delay, no request for a deal. No tit-for-tat. He actually liked the new guy, shame the pleasantness would soon be gone once his peers got their claws in him. His large hands easily took hold of the syringes, and he tucked them away in a corner of his bag, cushioned by some towels he had brought for swimming.
It would not take long for his point to be proven with the intrusion of one Percival Gray.
“Dude, you should knock first.”
Vladimir shook his head and spoke from the side of his mouth lightly. "Don't bother," he said even quieter. There was no use debating, they lacked power and many of the students were drunk on either power or righteousness that lacked knowledge.
"Trust me, Vlad, if I had a problem you wouldn't be standing right now. and that would be after getting your attention..."
"No doubt," the tall, stiff bird would reply. It was a lie but he was not willing to start a fight on his first day.
He was just going to spend the summer making nice with the new guy. Have a bit of fun before he returns to hell in a couple of days, weeks if he was lucky and everything went well.
"Wow, that's quite respectable of you Vlad. But please, if anyone decides to do anything please don't drag him into your mess. I don't feel like giving detention to a kid who has only been on Hogwarts grounds less than a month"
"He will be fine," possibly also a lie. Not an intended one but luck seems to be on someone else's side.
At the very least the Prefect would 'make nice' with his roommate, that is until the paranoia starts to seep him. "And yes, you're right. That's why I offer my apologies for the intrusion" An apology followed by the basic expectation that what he did was the norm. "Don't be surprised if there's more of it though, a lot of the students can't seem to grasp the concept of manners and personal space." And follow that by an assertion of authority. "The names Percival Gray, by the way, Slytherin prefect..." Name, rank and house. Not that Isaac Lee Shu Hui had been sorted just yet, but there was potential for direct authority and for that reason likely compliance based on fear.
"I'm sure Vlad will keep you somewhat safe, but if you have any questions that he can't answer don't hesitate to find me."
What would the soon-to-be first year do without you...
"By the way, Vlad, me and you will need to chat sooner or later. Preferably without any extra ears"
"Unlikely," Vladimir replied. He did not have a modicum of trust for the snake. Especially the request for a private audience. He had learned through repeated instances that most do not have good intentions at heart. Not to say he was a saint, he was by far not. He just was not the worst of his breed.
"Isaac Lee Shu Hui," he used the boy's full name despite limited opportunity for introductions. "This evening, after dinner is served I need you to tell me something. Five - Five- Five," an odd request he would understand sometime later. "Can you remember that? Three numbers, all the number five. five to the third power. Simply five - five - five." It was a simple, something that he could remember if he dedicated thought to it. A modicum necessary. No less, no more. "In fact, let me write it down..." he recovered a quill, inch and tore off a piece of parchment.
With that he would put the remainder of his belongings, medical supplies and all away. A quick locking spell and a nod to Gray. "Have at him, but if he gets hurt when I am not looking I will be holding you responsible Percival Gray." A threat? A warning? No, a promise. The people of Hogwarts had a thing for immolating and robbing his friends, this boy would likely be no exception. Suspicion would well, they would question his intentions, his identity, his potential skillsets, perhaps even level accusations before he stepped foot in the school.

Welcome to the Phoenix Cabin
@Santario Martin, @Ruka Burnett-Tân as Aleksandar, @Sarah Lightwood & @Vladimir AthentosApologies for the radio silence! While I was not exceptionally social and indeed, tended to fret in social circumstances, I would have responded to the girl who had brought the appetizers (San) with a small smile and a polite nod. "Most thoughtful. Thank you for the offer." Indeed, I would have to try some of the meat pie, especially if it were homemade.
"Gulliver's Travels," I responded to the other green-haired girl (Sarah). "A tale of a hapless fellow on an adventure he did not think he would take. A fantastical exploration of the mind and culture of man." I don't usually gush over books, especially since I know that not many others find as much interest as I do over them, but I felt that at least this story deserved its justice.
My attention would be drawn towards the Durmstrang upperclassman. He was a boy I had not really met well, but I recognized him as being of my school by the foreign air about him and the cocksure pride he carried. Well, certainly a relief to know that I would not be the only foreign student here, even if I had once been schooled here for a few months.
The girls and he spoke, and I watched the proceedings with amusement, my chin cupped in my hands. It seemed that even though my comrade could be a bit aggressive, he was finding something intriguing; the girl who had offered the pies. Shaking my head with a small snort, I turned back to my book, until another tall upperclassman (Vlad) made his presence known; speaking to the shy boy and one of his fellows.
I am not one to eavesdrop, so indeed, I stayed out of it... But I could not help but overhear but a few choice words which seemed to stick far too strangely out of the grain of conversation. Medicine... Nightly treatments... Black fluid...
What in Merlin's name...?
Despite myself, I permit myself to turn back again and get a good look at the strange boy. After trying to interpret the best of his features and commit them to memory, I turn back again, shaking my head. Queer. Strange. Odd.
Unusual.
Wizards, as I had learned quickly, did not suffer from Muggle ailments. Keeping this fact as true, then that left a mystery as to what kind of "disease" this newcomer claimed to have. The first that came to mind was Lycanthropy... But that disease did not require syringes or black fluid, though a nightly treatment did align.
Perhaps the wrong view was being taken of it. Perhaps it was the black fluid which was to be of concern, but then the disease's lack of contagion would make little sense. Syringes implied that this was an intravenous blight, not terribly like HIV or malaria. If so, highly contagious rates were likely, if not obvious.
But, despite the facts laid before me, most things at Hogwarts were, from what I had heard from my twin, strange and unlikely. It was a matter of adapting, he had always said. Rolling with it and going with the flow.
I had not seen him all summer outside of watching his game, though... How had he fared?
It was something I was left to puzzle over as time waned on.
