The Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix. Bit dark but so good imho. It also got two I think prequel type books, making it a collection of 5 books in total, but I haven't read either of those yet. Plan to, though.

IT by Stephen King. I must've read it at least twelve times by now. I'm a huge horror fanatic, and something about this one just draws me in. Lots to analyze, I guess!

No one but Georgie Martin can make you despise a character as much and then shatter your preconceived notions to make you feel pity and emotional attachment to them. You start to realize the line between 'good' and 'evil' is blurred and subjective. Of all the GoT books, this one is by far the best in my opinion.

This is the first in a three-part series and the books are absolutely incredible. The writing is so rich and fluid and the characters so full of depth it's impossible not to fall in love with this series.
