The battle raged on, with the guests proving to be quite a match for the home team. Santario was ready to dodge, a wise strategy, for Rodion had leveled his wand her way. She nimbly managed to avoid his Knockback Jinx. Alongside her, her teammate Ileen offered the Slytherin some relief, casting an Extinguo on the Incendio still clinging to her robes. While she succeeded in putting out the flame, Milosh took advantage of her occupation and hit her with an Obscuro. Her view of the field was robbed by a tightly knotted cloth. Bridget, too, was ready to be fast on her feet. It helped, as she eaded a Flipendo from Karilyna, yet it put her right into the path of the same spell from Jan. Illowy managed to move through the commotion, positioning herself upon B5. Two players seemed out of sorts: Alexander feeling the last effects of the Bogies (Phased Out), and Alisa looking momentarily overwhelmed, or perhaps disoriented (Timed Out).

While the Vipers moved and took a defensive position it was their time to strike again. Alas only a few spells connected, like usual. But a few was better than none. Milo clucked in disapproval as the girl on fire had been extinguished by one of her teammates, of which she was probably utterly grateful for while he on the other hand wasn't. And well he made his actions clear when his Obscuro landed nicely on her face, blocking her view. "Now be a good girl and stop helping your team mm?" He snapped at the girl before he tapped his cheek thoughtfully and turned his head to scan the rest of the board.Playing as iNPC Milosh Rehnquist
It seemed that girl whom he had extinguished was still standing, although barely. Just the idea of gaining the upper hand advantage wise was thrilling although they didn't seem eager to let that happen anytime soon. Plus he couldn't be too cocky with his moves else his team would fall into the same position. Only two of their members had been hit while three of his group had. From the looks of it they had the upper advantage, but tides could turn real quickly. And that was what he was afraid of. Milo took a deep breath. "All right now, focus and hang in there everyone."

Her opponents did not fail so miserably twice. The Queen may have turned his attention to Ileen, but the other two still had their sights on her and she was plenty familiar with the extra motivation of failure to not mess up again so soon. Taking in her surroundings, much less processing and formulating the best course of action, was difficult, her thoughts crowded by worry. She officially hated being a Bishop. What could she do to help? Santario was literally right next to her, and she could very well be stuck simply looking on as she went down.
Of course, she could just as easily be taken out, a prime target as shield for Alexander and in three opponents' range. Instinct aided her reaction time as twin flashes of blue cut through the air, unmistakably meant for her. Karilyna's was avoided easily enough, but her weight shifted, she was unable to recover in time to dodge the second. She was so close, the spell just barely nailing her in the shoulder. Unfortunately, 'just barely' was all a Flipendo needed, and god this one hurt even worse than the last time. Or maybe that was just the stacking effect of pain.
The spell had knocked her off balance, forcing a stumble backward out of her square. Again? She did not particularly like this cycle. The pain had resharpened her focus, at least, and now she had a better view of the board. Alexander was shaking off the last effects of the Curse of the Bogies. To him, she gave a nod; now he could properly do some damage. Santario was still standing, if barely, Ileen saving her from the lapping flames, though the spell might have cost her in avoiding the blindfold now secured around her eyes. Lastly, Illowy had taken a silent step forward, her first movement this game. So... pluses and minuses, though she was definitely seeing the minuses more with her throbbing shoulder. But as Illowy said, she just had to stay on her feet and she'd be fine.

“Any last word?” That guy was cocky as hell. Little did he know, his flipendo attempt would miss. Who knew the Slytherin would be so fast even in their worst situation. “Shit” Rodion looked at her cheering cousin, apparently she was busy yelling at the other girl in the audience. Not very surprising, honestly, knowing how loud Aurora can be sometimes. But her excitement was somewhat similar with Adeliah back when she was still in her right mind. If only time could be rewinded. All he could do was to make her proud by winning this fight. It was not like he could tell her in person, of course. But twins can communicate through hearts, right? I have to win this.

Ileen had to make a quick decision. She could not afford to hesitate, no second could be wasted. Determined, she turned to Santario, pointed her wand at the burning robe after a swift movement, and shouted "Extinguo!"
The silver mist that immediately shot from her wand extinguished the fiery flames, and Ileen's eyes automatically scanned the girl for injuries. "Are you okay?" Of course, the question was almost ridiculous. It wasn't hard to see that Santario, as the main target of the opposing team, had already taken a lot of hits. But Ileen still felt it was important to show that she cared.
Before she could speak further, however, a dark bandage suddenly appeared over her eyes. Damn. She hadn't been paying attention and her opponents had taken the opportunity.

INTERACTIONS: Guest Team
Now, things were beginning to look a little bit better. Now, it looked like they were not making absolute fools of themselves watching with some satisfaction as the spell flew forward hitting the girl squarely where he had aimed perhaps sending the message that not all of them were novices. More importantly, however, he had not missed and certainly intended on keeping this trend up. After that first blunder, he had no intention of repeating that knowing there was no way back now. As long as they could keep the pressure up and force them to play defensive while they were breaking them down, Jan reckoned they would be alright.
He was careful however not to get too caught up in his little victory that he had achieved for the time being. It was easy to get cocky and that was mostly what resulted in an unforunate result. He wasn't assuming anything yet, it was better to be careful but at least they had a slimmer of hope now as his wand scanned the crowd of foes before them as if picking who to go for next, his position at the moment was relatively secure and he did not want to risk that by straying too far out, his expression serious as he weighed his options before coming to a conclusion. Yes, that would have to do for now.

Sweet, sweet, cooling relief washed over her after she heard Ileen’s voice cast the spell that offered her skin some form of reprieve. She vaguely nodded at Bridget telling her to hang on, and Ileen asking her if she was okay. Santario was far from okay, but she would hang on and persevere. If they wanted to take her down, then by the silver hairs on Merlin's beard, they were going to have to work for it. Santario wiped the sweat from her brow while panting slightly, but determination flared in those sapphire eyes like bluebell flames. She was not going to lay down and give up.

As Alexander held his head in his hands, breathed rapidly and slowly felt his headache fade. One thought came unbidden in his mind. The Curse of the Boogies should be made an unforgivable curse. Truly other three were nothing compared to this. The killing curse, you can’t really feel the effect of being hit by it. The Imperio curse, it was said to be a blissful sensation; and it always works as a great legal excuse. And whilst the cruciatus curse was bad, at least you could fight back against it to some degree. Not have to suffer through it with no option of retaliation.
Regardless, the horrid sensation was now gone. Now it was time to get back into action.

The game was picking up, now it just needed to do so in their favor. She watch Bridget take another hit and get knocked back into another square, San was being cared for by Ileen, but at the expense of girl being taken by an obscuro. The other team was trying to chip away at their resolve; though Illowy was resolute that they'd never see that kind of satisfaction from them.
Quietly amidst the chaos, Illowy moved up her position. They still had a good chance. San was still upright, Bridget looked as resolved as ever, and Alex seemed to get getting his whit back about him. They just had to keep pushing a little longer. After all, a well place hit could work wonders in gaining ground; they just needed to land that delicious hit.
I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.
