Colina was surprised that Rachel seemed so interested in learning more about Holly. She thought Holly was great, she essentially raised her, but she didn't think some classmate that didn't know Holly would be curious about her. "Aye, Holly is pure fantastic, she was like my grandma. She actually came from Beauxbatons, lived in the Netherlands, but met her partner in Scotland so she moved to Braemar."

This girl threw so much at her that Colina nearly missed her asking if she would get a pet at Hogwarts. She never really thought about it, if Tavish wouldn't get a pet, would she be able to get one herself? "Um, I ne'er thought about it? I guess I would, but what would I even get?" Maybe she could get a reptile, like a lizard or a toad, that would be cool, "What about ye? Another cat or maybe yer a fan o' something else?"

Colina raised an eyebrow at Rachel, "A Ravenclaw, huh? Well, I would definitely take ye fur a Hufflepuff, but no, yer a clever one, ain'tcha? Well, I know who 'm asking to be my tutor this year." She smiled at the thought, that would be fun, Rachel was really friendly and she would've been happy to have her as her tutor.

Rachel seemed like quite the pick for Quidditch. She probably was a great team player and was clearly very passionate about the sport, ready to play before the school year even started. Colina rubbed the back of her neck, "Well, I'm not that much o' a team player, so 'm actually interested in dueling. Quidditch is great, but there's something about two wizards having a match o' strategy 'n' will that interests me. What position are ye going to vie fur in Quidditch?"

With Colina's confused face, Rachel stifled a laugh. She can be talkative to the point that she'll make the persons head she's talking to hurt. Hearing that Holly attended Beauxbatons, she was awed. She heard about Beauxbatons academy but her parents wanted her to attend Hogwarts. She wondered if the academy was beautiful as she heard it was.

"Well, it would make Leo happy if I get another cat so he can get company but I heard about the snowy owl and would want one as well! Or maybe even a toad!" Rachel said, her eyes practically shining. She likes animals but only the friendly and petable ones. Giving a sheepish smile after hearing that Colina would want Rachel to tutor her. "I don't think thats a good idea. If I became your tutor, theres a 90% chance we won't be finishing any homeworks. We'd be running around Hogwarts either exploring or causing mass destruction! And I don't think I'm intellectual enough to be a Ravenclaw. But I am a curious one so I think I'll pass?"

Rachel was awed when she heard that Colina is interested in dueling. Rachel herself couldn't create a strategy at beating her opponent even if her life depended on it. And also memorizing so many spells. She would just panick on the spot and forget everything she rehearsed about. "Well, you must be strategic and smart! And the position I'd choose if I were to get picked in quidditch is a chaser or beater."

Colina nodded her head with a big grin, Rachel's good mood being extremely contagious. "Oh yea having a toad would be pretty cool," Rachel says, "Though from what yer saying, if Hogwarts let ye, ye would be takin' an entire zoo to the school." It was probably a really good idea to limit the amount of pets students can bring. A bunch of pets running around with a bunch of children that have magic seems like a recipe for disaster.

Rachel started saying that they wouldn't get any work done if she was Colina's tutor. She laughs and nods, "'N' that, my friend, is the point! We shall reign chaos upon the school as Colina 'n' Rachel!" At this point, she has her hands in the air, being extremely dramatic with her voice and movements, so she reeled in back in, "Sorry I got a bit too into the joke."

Colina frowned, "Well, ye seem pretty smart to me, so I think ye have a good chance o' getting into Ravenclaw. Like, what class are ye looking forward to most? I mean if ye have an answer fur that, yer miles 'head o' me." She knew that the classes were about magic, but nothing more than that.

Strategic and smart is definitely not how Colina would describe herself. She would probably describe herself more so as lucky. "Oh, 'm honestly just hoping that I can avoid my opponents' spells 'til they tire themselves out," Colina says, "'N' chaser or beater, huh? Well, yer a pretty tall First Year so I could definitely see ye as a beater."

Rachel faked offended, gasped and said, "Excuse me! Not a zoo! I wouldn't be able to sneak in a giraffe so a partially completed zoo." She said grinning. She wouldn't really bring a giraffe but Colina was right. If she was rich and there weren't any limit to bringing pets then she would have bought and brought any types of pets she can bring to Hogwarts. To keep her company.

When Colina did her dramatic speech of her and Rachel reigning chaos to the school, Rachel was completely laughing her, ehem arse, off. "No no no its alright, and yess we will be the queens of disaster here!" Rachel said, joining in with the dramatics.

Getting asked about what class she was looking forward to, Rachel already knew her answer. "Defense Against the Dark Arts! You can never be too sure that there isn't any danger around the corner! But I do would like to further my knowledge in spells, so Charms as well! And don't worry, you'll find your favorite class soon enough when we arrive!"

As Colina said that she'll just tire out her opponent, Rachel spoke up. "Well, isn't that smart and strategic? Waiting for the opponent to get tired before striking? Work smart not hard, I heard." Rachel said smiling goofily. Then, hearing that she can be a beater she said.
"Well, we could only hope that I can make it to the team." She said smiling slightly now.

As Rachel started being fake offended, Colina smirked. If this girl was going to start this, she would play ball. "Well, mate, ye clearly aren't trying hard enough if you don' think ye can sneak in a giraffe," Colina says jokingly, "Like come on, we're wizards. I think yer going to have a harder time obtaining the giraffe than ye are sneakin' it into Hogwarts."

Colina put her hand over her mouth and leaned back in the seat as she laughed. This girl was hilarious and made her laugh without fail. To think that she started off thinking Rachel wasn't going to be a good person to sit with on this train. That was clearly a gross misjudgement and she was glad it was.

Hearing Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms, Colina wasn't quite sure from the names why they were two different classes. She was sure they were pretty different, but aren't both of them just teaching spells? Then again, that's probably the equivalent of calling something like geometry and algebra the same. "Well, both o' those classes seem pretty interesting. Is Defense Against the Dark Arts just spells or...?"

Scratching the back of her neck, Colina chuckled slightly, "Well, I think it's less me bein' strategic 'n' more me just trying not to lose." She hadn't been exposed to as much magic as some of the other kids in the school, so she wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't as powerful, but she did think she was agile. "Well, if it's any consolation, I think there's a good chance ye'll be picked," Colina says, giving Rachel a small smile.

Hearing that Colina thinks that Rachel will have a good chance to be picked, she chuckled while shaking her head, but she's grateful for Colina cheering her up. Rachel was ruining the 'vibe'. So she responded to Colinas respond to her joke. "Well, I can just go to a zoo and steal one so number 1 check. But number 2, I still don't know any spells to use to sneak in and out a giraffe!" Rachel said cheekily. "But since were in the topic, I need to ask you something. What kind of zoo animal would you want as a pet?" Rachel said grinning. "Maybe a monkey would be a nice addition to my pet giraffe." Rachel said while pretend thinking.

"And Defense Against the Dark Arts is... Yeah they're spells but! They're the type of spells to help you protect and defend yourself against, well, the dark arts. We'll also learn some curses, hexes and jinxes there. Its also useful for dueling, just saying." Rachel whispered the last part to Colina.

Relaxing on her seat, Rachel then remembered that she was in a train. And she has motion sickness. Thats why she was still feeling a little woozy. Closing her eyes she quietly muttered, 'Why did I have to remember that."

Colina snaps her fingers as she shakes her head in fake disappointment, "Aw dang, guess we'll have to postpone this plan 'til we learn that spell." She scratches her chin in thought, genuinely thinking about Rachel's question even though she might think she's doing it jokingly. She isn't the most creative and for some reason, she's completely blanking on a funny zoo animal to "bring" to the school. "Uh..." Colina starts, "Oh, I'll bring a bunch o' otters!"

Defense Against the Dark Arts was starting to be more enticing to Colina. Like Rachel said, a bunch of protection and defence spells seemed perfect for someone who hoped to be a duelist. "Aye, well now ''m going to be going into this class looking forward to it, so thank ye fur that," Colina says happily, "So wi' Quidditch, do they have classes fur flying on brooms or do just learn it when ye join the team?" She figured it was the former, but Rachel definitely knew more about the schedule than she did.

There was a lull in the conversation and Colina noticed that Rachel seemed to get a bit paler. She leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes, seemingly a bit sick. She leans closer to Rachel's side of the compartment, "Hey, are ye ok?" She didn't really know what to do, should she ask if she wanted some water? If she wanted some food? She was very bad at handling situations like this.

"I'm fine. I was doing so good until I remembered that I'm in a train. Motion sickness." Rachel said while sweat dropping. "And for quidditch, we'll learn how to ride one since there is a class for that! We will be using the schools brooms though since first years aren't allowed their own brooms. And I think I remembered my dad explaining that first years can't join quidditch. But second years can." Rachel explained, a little bummed since she'll have to wait till she can join a quidditch team.

"And how many otters will you bring here? The exact amount I mean. Cause I know there's only a limited space on our dorms!" Despite feeling like she's gonna vomit all over the place, Rachel managed to ignore that and smiled. Curse trains and other rides. Zoo animals come first! Just kidding.

Even if all of the 'bringing zoo animals at Hogwarts' was a joke, Rachel couldn't help but wonder if she, of course after learning a bunch of spells, can pull off a mission of sneaking some zoo animals to her dorm. You wouldn't know until you try it they say. Remembering the other conversation they had, Rachel couldn't help but ask about the binding mark.

"Say... About the binding mark, how did Holly and her late partner got it? I heard about the binding mark but my parents didn't expand my knowledge about that more."

Colina nodded in response to Rachel saying she was fine. She didn't look completely fine, her skin now flushed slightly. Colina wasn't going to argue with her about it, though she seemed to be just as extroverted and happy as she was at the start of the conversation. She gave her a small smile, "Oh ok, umm, well havin' an entire class where we learn how to fly a broom is cool. I think 've used the Floo Powder system once or twice, but other than that I don' know much about magical transportation."

How many otters should Colina bring in this hypothetical scenario? Well, it had already gotten wacky enough, so screw any realism. She dry said, "All o' the otters." She couldn't completely hold the stoic expression so she cracked a bit of a smile.

Colina smiled at Rachel's question. It had been a while since Holly told her the story, but she had remembered it down to the exact detail because of how sweet of a story it was. "Oh, ye'll like this story. When she was a student at Beauxbatons, she visited Hogwarts wi' a couple o' other students. There she met her partner, Nico. She had to go after a week but both of them had fallen fur each other at that point. So, Nico gave Holly a Binding Mark so they could still maintain a relationship while they were in two separate countries," she said as she fondly remembered the story while looking out the window.

As she thought about it though, Colina wasn't sure how Nico had learned to give someone a Binding Mark. They were obviously a student at Hogwarts at the time, so she assumed they learned it there. "I think we could learn how to give someone a Binding Mark if we wanted to, honestly it might be something taught at Hogwarts." She wasn't quite sure if she wanted to have that ability. Sure it would be cool to be connected to someone like that, but constantly?
