Requirements

You must have time and commitment (we'll try to keep posting period reasonable), whilist you can volunteer for, well, basically anything that has to do with the Theater Club. We thrive on creativity, so please, be creative, because we don't want plagarism. Please respect others. Follow HiO rules both OOC and IC. IC, keep your grade of Average (A) or above (E, O). OOC, your grades you get don't matter, you can still stay in trust me, we love you too much to kick you off due to a grade you have OOC. Hell, I (Noah) have D's (Dreadful) in some of my classes. Last thing, and it's not a requirement... but if you want to be a part of the Discord Server, either owl Noah Jupe and I will give you your access onto the Theater Club server!

What They Do Reducio A) Actor- they act on stage, bringing the story to life. B) Director- this person directs the play in practice as an attempt to perfect it and make it beautiful for everyone. C) Producer- instead of bringing in money for the plays as they do IRL (in addition to several other things), they advertise the play to everyone who may be interested. D) Playwright- during the fall semester, everyone writes a script together, making everyone the main character equally. E) Stage Manager- they assist the director and producer, but also oversee what happens backstage. F) Set Designer- They design the SETS (the scenes) of the play. G) Lighting Designer- they set the light for the scene, setting it so it looks just right H) Sound Designer- these people create the music used in a play, or designate music used in a play... preferably (IC) we write our own so we don't have to pay royalties I) Stage Crew Member- These people work BACKSTAGE, moving the set to the stage. J) Fight Director- This person helps an actor how to act like he is actually fighting, so it looks realistic. K) Choreographer- This person helps you learn the dance to the play, or music that you have to dance to. L) Concession Stand- Can be up to three people selling food or drinks M) Ticket Stand- For time saving purpose, this person will sell tickets and then try to sell products to the play (for Beauty and the Beast, it could be a Rose Gram and it would go backstage, complementing each actors.) N) Costume Designer- This person designs the costumes and accessories we use for the show(s)

Upcoming/Current Threads Reducio Goosebumps Play

P.S.R. Reducio Each of these jobs (plus the assistant positions) have a duty in the performance thread and/or the spectator thread or the rehearsal thread. Performance Thread C) Actor- They act on stage, speaking their lines. Of course, they have to intertwine PERFECTLY! O) Stage Manager- This person directs the Stage Crew Members to move the set/prop where it has to go, before the curtains close. M) Stage Crew Member- These people move the set and prop onstage. (Now, OOC, I recommend describing each set that you are placing, and where it is being placed. So, if a tree was being placed in Upstage Right, you describe its appearance as it gets set in that location before the curtain open (again)). Spectator Thread E) Concession Stand- Sell food (Wizarding World brands please) and drinks (again, Wizarding World brands please) S) Ticket Stand- Sell tickets and the play's merchandise Rehearsal Thread (in addition to everyone mentioned previously) E) Director/Assistant Director- These people try to envision the show the way they think the House (audience) will enjoy. They are in charge of running the show and overseeing the stage. E) Producer/Assistant Producer- These people will advertise the show, (irl, they do it to make money) to get everyone to see what the beloved cast has worked so hard on. The P/AP is super proud of his cast, s/he is the one who sponsored the performance in the first place. U) Sound/Light designer/director- These people preprogram the sound/light to turn on at the right time, and turn off at the proper moment. If anyone asks, the spotlight is also preprogrammed as well. They experiment with the sounds and write new songs if needed (Sound D) and also see what tint of light would work effectively over the course of the performance (light). S) Fight Director- Train the actors who have to fight in the play, how to fight. Any style of fighting is acceptable, but make sure not to break HiO rules. !) Choreographer/Costume Designer- This person helps train the actors how to dance, or move around with such elegance that can only be seen in a "perfect world". And as for the Costume Designer, they design the costumes to fit the scene, and show.
