That's Not Your Choice
Forward Dated 31st of August
A large slam of a trunk was heard in the tent. Summer Camp was coming to an end yet again. A soft sigh escaped the figure who had just shut the trunk. They bent down to make sure everything was secure before a sharp pain was felt on the top of their head. The boy shrunk down and his hand shot up to feel the spot he had just been attacked out of reflex. He lifted his gaze to see a familiar dark grey-faced owl sitting regally on the trunk. How had he found him in the tent? The boy's attention shifted and his eyes darted to the letter in his beak and he quickly went to swipe the letter out of the beast's beak. Avoiding another peck this time to the fingers he shooed the thing off with a wave of his arm, a low hoot was heard and the flap of wings as they got more distant before he decided to inspect the letter.Playing as iNPC Milosh Rehnquist
His family's stamp was on it and he automatically assumed it was from his mother. The blonde's gaze swept the tent to make sure no one would walk in on him or was snooping behind him before opening it. Upon seeing his father's handwriting her froze, his brows knitting together in concern. His gaze flicked across the page, sentences racing by him as he begun to read the letter.
He finished the note. His eyes narrowed, a frown etched on his face. How could his mother agree to his? Knowing his father, it wasn't her choice. Speaking of choices.. Milo let out a loud sigh of frustration and crumpled the ball in his hands before tossing it to the floor. "It's not your decision! To hell with marriage!" He spat out.Milosh.
I hope this letter has reached you before the start of school as I don't want to interrupt your schooling. Your mother and I have been pondering a.. situation of sorts for awhile. As you know, you are not the heir of our family but we still wish to marry you off. It will look good on the family if you do so sooner than later. Your mother was more.. worried about this matter than I was so I had to take her opinion into consideration. We met with a few families and came to a decision.
You will be marrying a prestigious half-blood daughter from a pure blood family. The girl herself I didn't ask the name of but she should be around your age. Once you are done studying at Durmstrang and are 18 your wedding will be held. This is not a discussion, this is an order. If you wish to redeem yourself as a disappointment to our family I expect no arguing. We shall set up a meeting with their family so you can meet her perhaps over Winter Break or Spring Break.
Study hard.
With that said he whipped out his wand, traced the symbol and muttered a quick "Incendio" and watched as the sparks leapt from his wand tip to the paper on the floor. The paper began to crinkle and shrivel up, the small fire reflecting the large, burning rage underneath behind his eyes.
