Aurelia walked out of the castle’s gates. It was after school hours and She had to leave the stuffy castle. She needed some air and to take her mind if the stacks of assignments. She just walked, she had been to almost everywhere around the castle that she was starting to get bored, today, she wanted adventure.
Aurelia had never been to the Great Lake near Hogwarts. She heard many different stories about it, especially the events that happened during the triwizard tournament. She also heard about the creatures that lived in its dark depths. Merpeople, Giant squids and Grindylows. There were rumors that these weren’t friendly creatures. She stood at the bank of the lake and took in a deep breath, inhaling the fresh air. The cool Breeze blew making her hair fly in all directions. The view was amazing, she admitted it was one of the most beautiful place around Hogwarts.
Aurelia grabbed a pebble and threw it, the rock skilled across the water before it was swallowed by the waves. The bloom fest had a pebble skipping competition coming up and she could use some practice.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a boy appear through the trees. He was quite a distance away, she wasn’t to sure if he had came from Hogwarts. Students rarely came to the lake, her wand was held by her side as she approached him, “Hi there,” She called.

After a grueling day attending all of the classes, Bellamy returns back to the Boy’s Dormitory to drop off his books. As he enters House Slytherin, he approaches his dorm and enters the room, it appears empty. Placing his belongings away, he also changes his uniform into more comfortable clothing as he feels that he’ll go outside today in cool weather. Finishing up, Bellamy exits his dorm and House Slytherin making his way through Hogwarts as he passes Potions, Charms and a few more classes ending up close to the Great Hall but doesn't end up there as he exits through another entrance. Leaving through large wooden doors he travels from the enormous castle to the vast Great Lake, lazily moving his legs across the ground, casually moving each leg one stride at a time.
Trailing off Bellamy notices a thinly dense forest that appears to lead the lake as he faintly sees the glittering water shine though the brush to him. Reasonably thinking that going through the forest was a faster way to the lake Bellamy emits a swift sound to acknowledge the newly discovered path “huh.” From there he enters the dimly lit forest. Strolling through he nonchalantly rotates his head from left to right looking at all of the gorgeous plant life that resides in the forest, as well as absorbing the little light rays that pierce past the tall trees. Furthermore Bellamy fills his lungs with the nostalgic scent of crisp leaves before not long the natural smell of the lake begins to also infiltrate his nose, alerting him that he's close to his destination. Making his way out of the forest trampling over tiny twigs Bellamy unexpectedly hears someone “Hi there.” Standing idly in place, Bellamy being unprepared to have any sort of conversation with anyone by the least a girl puts him on edge. Disappointed as he was, Bellamy expected this as it wasn’t anything new. The fact that he stumbled upon someone near the lake was pretty ordinary being that students from Hogwarts were known to visit the lake although he had hoped he’d ventured far enough away from the school that students rarely visited this area yet he was mistaken. Frozen in place uncertain of what to do he responds stumbling over his words “Oh … umm .. ughh .. Hello?”

Aureli stopped a distance away from the boy, waiting for his response. She didn’t know if he was dangerous or not. She was gripping her wand by her side so that if anything happened, she would have something to defend herself with. She knew the charm, Incendio, which was a spell used in combat defence. But at the tender age of 11, she only knew how to use the spell to produce a small flame to light a candle. If an Attack were to happen, Aurelia probably would stand no chance.
“Are you a student as well?” She probed, wanting to clarify.
“What are you doing her by the the lake?” She asked. She wouldn’t be surprised if he replied by asking the exact same question, she was here too. Not many students visited the lake, the Proffesors also dissaproved of students going to that place where dangerous creatures roamed.
The boy replied, he the sound of his voice seemed nervous. He probably wasn’t one to harm people. She walked up to him to take a closer look. She inspected him for a split second, making her eye movements as discrete as possible. He had dark hair and was a little taller than she was. He seemed young but looked older than her and was most likely a third year. He most probably came from the castle but using a different route.Oh … umm .. ughh .. Hello?”

Noticing that the girl stopped a few meters Bellamy already knew he made a terrible first impression. As he stood there, he swiftly glanced over at her analyzing her to see which house she came from. Unfortunately at this distance he couldn't get a good look although as he looked even more he immediately recognized sticking out from her hand that she inconspicuously held a wand in her hand, slightly hiding it but looking like she was intensely clinching on to that piece of wood, as if she was ready to attack. At that moment he frantically thought of ideas of how to not make her anymore anxious. However she cautiously began to slowly walk up to him.
Even more nervous than before Bellamy slightly starts to shift his left foot towards the opening of the woods, where he came through until she forcefully asks
“Are you a student as well?”
“What are you doing here by the the lake?”
When she completed asking her questions, Bellamy eases up. The last question that she asked, stumped him as he assumed everybody went to the lake frequently to relax. While he stands there Bellamy casually answers her questions "Yeah .. I'm from Slytherin." "I was going to chill by the lake." At this point Bellamy fixed his position of where he stood, for he didn't care anymore that she was still holding a wand in her hand as he remembered that barely any kid at his age could do any real magic that possibly could harm him, heck he even knew that he couldn't hurt anyone. Getting a better look since she came closer he could see how short she was from him. He could clearly see her now. The curly brown hair, her vivid red jacket, and some normal denims. This girl didn't look like a threat to him. Taking a few steps forward Bellamy begins to ask his own questions.
"What about you ... are you a Gryffindor?"
"Whats your reason for being here?"

The tall boy claimed to be chilling by the lake. He also mention that he was from Slytherin. The traits of Slytherin and Gryffindor differed greatly. There were rumors that Slytherin and Gryffindor often had the most tension and rivalry for the past years. Rumors were just rumors that she need not believe till she found out herself, Aurelia thought.
“Yes, I’m from Gryffindor.” She replied, smiling slightly.
“I went here to get some air and take my mind off the stressful stacks of assignments.” She answered. This was only half of the reason why she came down to the lake.
A brown object hidden within the long weeds caught her attention. She walked over to inspect. Aurelia smirked. A wooden row boat laid under the tall grass, it seemed to have been left there for quite sometime and weeds were already growing on it. A paddle was inside and the boat was in a fairly good condition. She finally found something that interested her. She took off her boots, put it neatly down where it was dry then pulled her hair into a ponytail. She began pushing the boat in the direction of the water. Waves lapped at her ankles and soaked the denim. The boat rocked when it was a bit further from shore. The water was only ankle deep at the distance. She climbed onto the boat.
“Are you coming, Slytherin?” She beckoned. Slytherins were known to be self-preservative and often used their head when acting, where as Gryffindor’s were daring and courageous. They were also sometimes seen as impulsive. If the boy didn’t come along, she wouldn’t hesitate to go alone.
Aurelia gasped lightly. How did he know that she was from Gryffindor? Was he watching her in school? Her eyes narrowed slightly squinting warily. Her suspicion was rising. Then she looked down and realised that she was wearing a red sweatshirt, an obvious trademark Color of Gryffindor. It was probably why he assumed she belonged in that house. Aurelia told herself she needed to calm her nerves and convince herself the boy meant no harm... at least for now."What about you ... are you a Gryffindor?"
“Yes, I’m from Gryffindor.” She replied, smiling slightly.
The boy questioned. She knew he would ask sooner or later. She thought for a moment. What was the reason she ended up by the lake? She usually was one who would curl up in a couch in the Gryffindor common room but she already browsed through a stack of books she borrowed from the library recently. She was probably bored and decided to go to the lake and possible find something interesting or maybe some adventure along the way. Right now, all she found interesting was skidding pebbles across the water’s surface. She needed to find something more to do else she’d get bored soon. She didn’t want to tell the boy as Slytherins had a reputation of being the first ones to approach Teachers when they sensed something suspicious, especially those who been in the school for longer periods. Maybe it was just a stereotype? Either way, she didn’t trust the boy yet."Whats your reason for being here?"

Btw, Aurelia is still convinced that Bellamy is a third year student. It’s up to you to decide whether to tell her or to let her continue thinking that he was a third year.

As she answered the first question
As she answered the last question Bellamy began thinking of just a excuse to leave as this was going on longer than he anticipated. He honestly thought he would only be outside of the school for a few minutes then decide to go back inside and take a nap in his dorm. For now though he was patient, waiting to see where this conversation would take him.
Finally thinking about just saying that he was going to leave, he notices the girl's attention towards him begins to shift, making a turn towards his right, to the lake. While she does this she starts to move again but instead she maneuvers around him, specifically to his right as she spots something. Following her movements with his eyes, he sees that she discovers a little row boat that's caught up in some weeds. Weirdly enough she unquestionably removes the boat from the bank, Bellamy beginning to think this girl totally forgot about the boy he was talking to, he shakes his head in disapprove and then starts to shift his body back towards the way he came until he hears her shout something else out.
"Yeah sure, gotta extra paddle you can spare?"
Bellamy begins formulating his next decision, he continues to stare in her direction waiting for what she will do next. For now he could for sure confirm now that she belonged to Gryffindor being she told him, though he was already certain she was a Gryffindor being that students typically for some reason wore clothes that associated to their house; he always found that weird. However it didn't really matter if she answered the question or not, he couldn't care less if she didn't respond at all, he just wanted to leave.“Yes, I’m from Gryffindor.”

He honestly thought he would only be outside of the school for a few minutes then decide to go back inside and take a nap in his dorm. For now though he was patient, waiting to see where this conversation would take him.
Bellamy in his thoughts, chucked at her response, knowing that any student would use a similar type of answer. The students at Hogwerts always went here to "blow off some steam" or just relax here, it was the coolest place to feel at peace, who could complain. He knew it was the most gorgeous view to stare at while staying at Hogwarts although to him it had its draw backs. The creatures that laid below, whether it be Merpeople, Grindylows, especially Grindylows; those nasty buggers, and etc. were dangerous creatures that no one shouldn't mess with.“I went here to get some air and take my mind off the stressful stacks of assignments.”

Pondering on his choice, Bellamy completely knew that this was a terrible idea. He wasn't sure if students were even allowed to boat out on to the lake. He hated how Gryffindor's were so impulsive to do anything, it annoyed him. Knowing if he left her, he would hate himself if he she went alone by herself as knowing that anything bad could happen to her if she goes on that lake. He could tell the teacher just to end this dilemma but he didn't want her mad as she probably might haunt him and he for sure didn't need a target on his back so with a great sigh Bellamy shouts back.“Are you coming, Slytherin?”
"Yeah sure, gotta extra paddle you can spare?"

Aurelia waited for a reply it took sometime for the boy to reply. She was almost about to take her paddle and sail away when the boy finally said,
“Found one.” she said waving the paddle in the air.
“Climb in quick or I’m leaving without you.” she warned jokingly. After he was seated in the ark, she took the paddle and began to drag the end through the water pushing the boat forward.
It took a couple of minutes before they were further into the lake. Her slim 11 year old arms ached from all the work. She place her wet paddle down. The boat rocked dangerously as she stood up, trying to balance herself. The creatures underwater only lived in the depths and would come so close to the surface where there was light. She read in the book that the creatures didn’t venture to places where light shone on. The also didn’t like coming to the surface as there were vulnerable and wouldn’t have the element of surprise if they did. So If the boat tipped, they would be perfectly fine. She was glad it didn’t. She pretended to hold a telescope and looked around with it.
“Where shall we go to next? Maybe we could sail to the durmstang institute away from this treacherous place.”
“Or we could go to the Beauxbatons Academy, a place habited with pretty girls like me, sadly, students there come from France, I wouldn’t fit if I were there. But Wouldn’t a Slytherin boy enjoy that, eh?” Said Aurelia in a voice mimicking a pirate. She laughed, it was interesting out at what she called sea.
she wasn’t expecting that kind of answer from a Slytherin, but she could use some company anyways. She searched for an extra paddle and found on laying at the side of the boat, almost completely hidden.Yeah sure, gotta extra paddle you can spare?

As Bellany walks towards the shore, closing in on the distance from him to her he simultaneously rolls up his pants and takes off his shoes and as he does this she yells out to him,
"Ugh ... lets set out somewhere, where we actually can reach" (saying it ina casual tone)
With ease, he enters the water approaching the boat and while he does this he repeats in thought, "this is a terrible idea ... this is a terrible idea ... this is a terrible idea." His intentions of accompanying this girl on her little boat ride become his nightmare as he believes that she'll get them both hurt on this little escapade she wishes to embark on. Meanwhile thinking about it she ramps up his anxiety even more as she pushes him to move faster as she states,“Found one”
Climbing in, he picks up the extra paddle she found and sets it in the water, pushing in a forward motion to help her push them out deeper into the lake. Pushing the boat forward one paddle at a time, he consistently counts in his head the number of strokes he makes as it appears they went quite far, "ten ... eleven ... twelve ... Thirteen ... FOURTEEN." Minutes in the numbers still continued until they stopped. Finally, he thought he caught a break as he wasn't tired but pleadingly grateful she didn't go any further although she began to do something else. As he watched her, for her next move she sets aside her paddle and gradually stands up, hoping to not wiggle the boat as much but it doesn't work as the little wooden boat sways back in forth producing tiny waves as she ascends up. Concerningly Bellamy clinches both of his arms to each side of the boat in hopes of stabilizing the little boat. When she finally stands she humorously makes impractical destination choices that they could never reach.“Climb in quick or I’m leaving without you”
Stating their destination choices in a raspy tone, Bellamy just stares at her while for a solid minute as she looks all around clutching her hands together as if they were a monocular, thinking in his head once again "This is a terrible idea", in addition to a new thought that popped into his mind, "this girl is crazy." To answering her question, he factually gave his response.“Where shall we go to next? Maybe we could sail to the Durmstang institute away from this treacherous place.”

The boy responded. She rolled her eyes. this boy doesn’t know how to have fun, typical Slytherin, she thought to herself. She slowly moved her imaginary telescope around, scanning the vast lake. There wasn’t really any place else besides across, which the Proffesors warned not to go. She really didn’t want three weeks of detention, that was almost as long as a month. She also didn’t know what creatures roamed the woods there, rumors were about hungry werewolves who would rip a human apart if they were desperately hungry. The thought scared her.Ugh ... lets set out somewhere, where we actually can reach
She was about to sit back down and turn the boat to head back to shore when she saw something green bobbing up and down the waves at a distance.
“Hoi, I see a treasure up ahead,” she directed the imaginary scope towards the green object. She paddled all the way there. Once she was close enough, she saw that it was a floating seaweed. She strained to reached it. The boat tilted to the side as she did. She prayed it wouldn’t tip. Her fingers hook onto the bunch of floating plants and pulled it up. She held the plants in her hands and inspected it. It wasn’t seaweed. She remebered her herbology Proffesor talk about it. It was Gillyweed, the plant if consumed would give someone gills and webbed feet and fingers for period of time. Though the teacher also mention it tasted horrible and people would rather drink water from a sewer or dustbin than eat the plant.
She presented the bunch of slimy leaves in her palm to the Slytherin boy.
“I assume a third year like you would know what plant this is.” she said winking. She then had the craziests of idea. She was going to swim and she would gladly drag the boy along just so he would know the definition of the word, “fun”. She removed her sweatshirt, underneath was a plain v neck shirt. She needed something dry to wear later if she were to swim.
She plucked a chunk of leaves and gave it to the boy. Then she stood. She put the leaves in her mouth. Her face scrunched up, the teacher was right, it tasted horrible like a mix of dog food and cat piss, and flavours she could pin, it was just disgusting, she almost spat the plant out. She forced herself to swallow, she dreaded that few seconds. The webbed feet and gills would appear with a couple of minutes.
She had a strategy to force the Slytherin boy to join her in the water. She rocked the boat she was standing on, slightly. Then pretending she lost balance, she leaned to the side and let out a dramatic scream as her body splashed into the water. She hoped her little act was convincing enough. She let herself sink deeper so the boy couldn’t see her. Underwater, she looked at her fingers. They were starting to grow webs like a frog and her neck started to itch a little as her gills grew. She then breathed normally. It worked. She excitedly waited closely under the boat. If the boy didn’t come soon, she would gladly tip the boat over, but that meant she wouldn’t have a boat to sail them back to shore and they would have to swim... and what if the boy didn’t know how to swim? That would be even disastrous. She also had her dry sweatshirt in there and didn’t want it to get wet. She hoped the boy would appear soon.
