It seemed like this had become a trend for Everly lately.

Once again, she was late. It wasn’t that she was trying to, nor that she had anything against the event, it just happened that she was late. She really hoped people wouldn’t hold this against her - then again, she really did need o do a better job of keeping up with her schedule. She had been the one to sign herself up for the event, after all, so she should be keeping track of when she should be showing up.

the event had sounded fun when Everly had first heard about it. Anything that involved a water and a fight seemed to be a necessity to attend in her opinion. It was just an added plus that it was someone’s birthday. Everly would have done something similar for her own birthday, if not for the fact that it was in the winter, in December. Oh well. Perhaps she could settle for a snowball fight?

Thank god Everly had at least remembered something. A day before, she’d just remembered that she had a birthday party to attend and gotten something for the two people celebrating their birthdays. [aforementioned presents will not be named because a) i’m not sure what are suitable presents and b) i forgot.] The hosts were people Everly hadn’t interacted with before particularly, or she just hadn’t remembered it. They were students from one of the other schools - Ilvermorny, Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, and and that Russian school, Koldov-something. They’d visited for the Blossom Ball and the event during the fall, so that served as somewhat for an explanation for why Everly wasn’t familiar with the names. She made a mental note to get to know them better.

As usual, since she got there late, Everly had no idea what was going on. The water fight had already begun, and it seemed like there were several options to choose from. Everly could either: a) attack someone with the water guns, b) run for her life and hope not to get sprayed, or c) cast a spell at someone, which in Everly’s opinion, seemed beyond the point of the game being a water fight. Everly ‘s mind was blank of a spell that could possibly help, and she wasn’t quite in the mood to try to dodge, so she picked up a water gun and aimed at the first unlucky victim she spotted. Everly pulled the trigger, aiming at a Durmstrang boy she wasn’t familiar with. Charles, was his name, she thought?

Game on, Charles.

“I hope I am, today” as she smiled slightly at Cassie, after listening to Cassie, Viv started to fret about her make up. “Should I wipe it now?”, she asked herself as she walked away but her mind doesn’t want her to spoil the make up with her own hands, maybe she would be lucky at least today. She chose the wrong target, it seemed like Lavinia was too good to get hit. Look at her dodging everyone’s shot, it was quite impressive. Even if it was admirable, it disappointed Viv and really got her tensed but it’s a game, what did she expect?

Forcing herself to smile, “Okay” she replied to the french boy(Sébastien) as she took some deep breaths before continuing. Mostly everyone started to form groups but she stood alone hoping no one would notice her as they all were busy wetting their opponents. But she can be wrong, out of nowhere someone aimed at her and got her wet which she realised only after getting hit with water. “Arghhh!” her face turned a little red but she again forced a smile, “that’s fine” as she looked at the girl (Gabriella). After all nothing happened to her face and she has nothing to worry about until her face gets wet.

Her new target must be someone who isn’t involved in any group or else she’s in danger, precisely her make up is in danger. Saving herself comes first but at the same time, she has to aim at somebody. Searching for her target with the gun ready in her hands, she squinted her eyes glancing at the area. Her eyes caught an Indian girl (Serena) who she believed was not being involved in any group. Commanding her gun, “Hit my target, at least now” as she aimed at her and squeezed her eyes shut before knowing whether it was successful or not and yelled “Someone say, did I succeed?”

CASSIE HEATHER had become determined to hit her target, LAVINIA. However, the heavens were not kind to the girl as LAVINIA jumped out of the way of the shot of water once again. Third time has to be the charm, right?

”Cassie there are plenty of dry people.” Sébastien said crossing his arms and chuckling to himself, ”So why is it that you go straight for the hardest one to hit?”

It also seemed LAVINIA wanted to go for the same person again even after hitting her in the first place. CASSIE HEATHER would not be as lucky as LAVINIA as the cool water sprayed all over her brunette head. Make sure LAVINIA’S ego does not inflate to big after that second hit.

”Well done. Again” Berry raised an eyebrow and smirked. The pair were really going at each other.

SCARLETT A had finally arrived. Being fashionably late was something that has become a tradition for the red haired girl. After her flamboyant entrance, the girl aimed directly for her friend CASSIE HEATHER but fate was not on her side as the girl’s evaded the shot with ease. Should have used that luck on LAVINIA instead.

Berry then furrowed his eyesbrows, “You are late.” Tardiness was not something Sébastien looked over like it was another natural thing in life. [IN VEELA] ”Be late again and I’ll try hex you, Carrots”

CHARLES defiantly wasn’t the smartest out of the group. It was all brawl and no brain. He had changed targets multiple times! After finally choosing his victim, the boy shot at LAVINIA. What a surprise. Just like every other attack on her failed, this one also failed as well. LAVINIA had obviously placed a curse on everyone who even thought about attacking her. Staying dry was now a top priority.

Sébastien laughed and grabbed his stomach, ”You really are as dumb as you look. Going for the hardest person to hit”

STARLEE wanted revenge on ALEC for hitting her. ALEC had not had enough time to move before a jet of water squirted into his face. Try aim a bit lower next time STARLEE.

Berry nodded his head at the girl, ”Good aim.”

An enemies-to-lovers trope is one of the favourite story lines ever. Not to GABRIELLA though. She had been compared to one of those stories by the one and only SCARLETT A. Satisfaction would not be something that GABRIELLA would feel when watching the water fall to her feet completely missing SCARLETT A.

”I can see the determination on your face. It’s creating wrinkles.” Sébastien pointed out towards the brunette as she missed her target.

SCARLETT S could have been the lucky winner by hitting LAVINIA first. However, LAVINIA’S rain of terror and dryness still rained down across the group of students as she once again moved out of the way just in the nick of time.

Snow White was at it again. Evading every single attacking. Impressing Sébastien with every move she did. “Bravo. Bravo.” He clapped before moving to the unfortunate girl who missed, “I like your style but aim for the easier targets first.”

All of SHANELLE’s time reading those books on archery defiantly paid off as PAIGE got hit by another shot of water. SHANELLE and her tactics worked like a charm.

Sébastien had not anticipated for the little first year to hit her target but when it did his mouth patented slightly, “I guess congratulations are in order on your first hit.”

Although CHARLES has missed PAIGE in the first round, that wasn’t good enough for her. She needed to make sure he got the message across that she wasn’t open to get hit. Though that message would have to wait for another time as he stepped out of the way. What a bummer.

It would have been very funny to watch Charles get soaked in water again. “Try try again.” Berry said nodding his head quickly.

SERENA has taken the approach of going for someone not in a big crowd. A very smart choice. Although her skills of shooting people were probably very advanced, SHANELLE’s technique of evading was better this one time.

The little first year had really improved her skills from the round before. “Well done.” He smiled and then turned to the older student, “Better luck next time.”

EVERLY also has arrived late. Her schedule was defiantly mixed up and needed to be sorted quickly. Although she worried about the thoughts of everyone already there that did not dampen the determination to have a good time. EVERLY aimed at CHARLES, after debating whether that was his name or not, and shot. Waiting had never been more pointless as he also jumped out of the way of this attack. What another bummer.

Everly had had it coming being late in Berry’s presence was not a sign of luck. So after missing Charles, she was defiantly not in the good books of Sébastien.

VIVIAN has tried to relax. That was quite easy to see. That did not help at all as she aimed towards SERENA and closed her eyes. It would appear that a student, SCARLET, had put off VIVIAN’s senses unsettling her a bit missing SERENA by quite a bit.

The boy squinted his eyes at the girl that had closed her eyes when shooting, ”I’m sure next time it would be a lot easier if you had your eyes open!”

ALEC’s impulsiveness has gotten the better of him. Without even realising his wand was in his hand casting the disarming charm. CASSANDRA on the other hand had noticed the wand quickly and brought out her own as a normal reaction. It was like it was staged when CASSANDRA’s wand went flying out of her hand and a blindfold was then wrapped around ALEC’s eyes with immense strength. It would be hard to get there off. What a predicament. A lover’s quarrel.

”Hey!” Sébastien called out grabbing ahold of his own gun before stalking towards Cassandra, “That is not a permitted spell.” He lifted the gun and took a shot covering them in water. “At least poor old Bob Ross over here used one that didn’t have any consequences. By the way, amazing shot Mr Ross.” He smirked before walking back away to his normal spot.

She missed? Well, she didn't miss, exactly, but Cassie still dodged, and that counted as her missing and - what? Scarlett was so caught up in the fact that she missed - Scarlett Aden had missed - that she almost forgot the war that was still being waged around them. Scarlett cocked her gun. She missed once, but she would not miss twice. Her ego could not take such a battering. "I'll get you back later Cassie!" she yelled at her friend, before lowering her voice a little. "What do you say about an alliance? We can get - wOARGH!"

A jet of water barely nicked her side as Scarlett frowned and blew a raspberry at her attacker - Flora Oaks, the Hufflepuff girl she had shipped with Tory Williamson the other day. It still made her giggle, but Flora evidently didn't find it so funny. "Get over it!" she yelled at Flora, before aiming her gun at the girl and firing.

Whether or not the water hit or missed, Scarlett would turn back to Cassie brightly, provided that Cassie didn't see the opportunity to backstab her and attack. "So, whaddya say?"

After that had been worked out - or not - Scarlett would turn back to the Berry guy Cassie was friends with and raised her eyebrows at him. "Oh no, I'm late, what a tragedy!" she said, as he said something she couldn't quite comprehend. It was a different language for sure, but she was certain it wasn't French. "What was that?" she asked, brow furrowed. "Also can I shoot you? Or are you just the referee?"

Cash smile triumphly when Starlee successfully avage her revenge to her after Alec managed to shot the blonde in the previous round. The green eyes wanted to congratulated the soon to be second year but they a bit caught up in their own vendeta against Alec. Not Cash hated Alec per se but with the whole betrothal plan that both of the pureblood kids' parents setted up, the uncertainty whether the plan still going or not make the Cuban descendant uncomfortable with the whole situation.

"Ha!"Cash expressed as they saw a fabric shot out from the tip of their wand, fly directedly toward Alec and then the fabric wrapped tightly around his eyes making him unable to see for some duration of time. But their victory was short live as their wand fell out from their own hand. Then the young socialite heard the birthday boy called them out.

He grabbed his own water gun and marched toward Cash. “That is not a permitted spell”He said then lifted the gun and took a shot covering them in water. The Beater well aware the spell that they just did was fell into cheat catagory. At least only some part of them still dry and not wet unlike someone else that definitely drenched in water.

“At least poor old Bob Ross over here used one that didn’t have any consequences,"The boy continued, Sébastien kept addressing Alec by Bob Ross. At first Cash confused who the boy referring to until it clicked in the young Ironwoods' head. "By the way, amazing shot Mr Ross"The boy added then when back to his normal spot.

Did Sébastien expected Cash to play nice? If that so, Cash would play along for now but if someone decided to took aimed at them with their own wand, the green eyes will not think twice and they gladly break the rules yet again. A lot people hit and miss their target and at this point Charles decided to recruited as many as alliances he can get.

And Cash definitely need to be in the same level on the curly haired boy. The Beater looked around until they saw older boy doing the same spell that Alec just did. "You pretty good with your spell and wand, how about form alliance with me and this other two?"Cash said referring at Paige and Starlee.

Cash waited a moment for Milosh to either agree or decline their proposal. Then the soon to be third year look some more people that were not in a team. "That goes for you too. Team up with me? What do you say?"Cash inquired the former Hufflepuff Quidditch player (Serena). Hoping both Milosh and Serena agree to be their allies. The more the merrier.

The jet of water whipped through the air and hit Paige, slamming into the brown-haired girl. “Yes!” Shanelle cheered, she hadn’t wasted the time she spent on those archery books. She was still dry, and she had succeeded in hitting someone.

The slightly disappointing feeling when her first attack missed disappeared completely, overwhelmed by the happiness of a successful attack. With her new found confidence, her eyes set on a new goal, allies. So far, she was managing on her own but previous snowball fights and laser fights had told her that forming an alliance would be the best possible thing she could do at the moment.

Even though being a little uncertain of herself, she walked over to one of the other players, a girl who looks about a year older than herself. She kept her water gun close to her body but not making any sudden movements, she said, “Um, hey. I’m Shanelle, would you like to form an alliance?” She could barely hear her own words as she spoke them hurriedly. An embarrassed blush formed on her face, she wasn’t going off to a great start.

Somehow, Shanelle managed to whip around, keeping her eyes trained on the other people around them as she spoke. She wasn’t about to get caught in a sneak attack.

As she waited for the girl Vivianto answer her, she decided to aim and shoot at someone, taking advantage of the time. She spotted a red-head girl Scarlett who had just missed an attack on the birthday girl. They were talking now, she knew that it was a great chance for her. Holding her gun up in a swift motion, she aimed carefully and shot, making sure that she did everything like her second time. With the shot executed, she turned back to the girl, still waiting.

Paige cursed to herself. This was the- what? Second time she got hit? That was... a no no. How could she let this stAnd? The fact that her clothes were soaking wet got her annoyed, but a gentle breeze lifted her spirits as she remembered she was smart and had chosen to wear dry release. She smirked to herself slightly, soon, if she could avoid other hits, she could possibly... win? She just needed to hit everyone and miss everything. Easy? Right.

"Ehm, nice shot?" She managed to say to the girl with gritted teeth. This was the hard part. Complimenting your opponents. The worst part of sports and games, maybe even worse than LOSING! But she wouldn't lose. She was sure of it. She would win something, even if it was the award for being the most wet. But first.. revenge.

The those of it made her want to jump with joy as she watched the girl who had sprayed her moments before. She was still very dry, and well, maybe that needed to change. She took aim at the blonde and fired. "Thought you needed some refreshments!" She called smiling just so slightly as she crossed her fingers.

She turned to Cash, nodding to the boy. "ooh, please do. The more the merrier!"
