Starlee hadn't been expecting to see Cash there, and she also hadn't been expecting them to ask her to team up. After Starlee had turned on Cash within moments of yesterdays game, she had regretted it quickly, but now, she had an actual team on her side. "Ayyy, nice to see ya Cash!" she would say as the beater approached. "I would be honored to team up Cash... Especially if you wanna take out that guy from yesterday..." her smile turned into an evil grin.

It took a moment for Starlee to realize that Cash was calling out to Paige, calling her 'Sunscreen girl.' What a hilarious nickname. "Oyyy, Paige!" she would say, hoping to also get the girls attention. For once she had recalled someones name, perhaps playing truth or dare with someone leaves is mark. "Oh yea Cash, after yesterday, I certainly plan to have a group this time!" Of course, there was no telling if someone might break the truce, but it was certainly worth a shot.

As the game began, it seemed that her attempted sneak attack was unsuccessful, with Charles easily dodging out of the way. Starlee frowned, but not before getting hit with a blast from Charles' newly formed teammate. Hey, at least it wasn't tomatoes. She yelped as cold water hit her, but she wasn't about to let that stop her.

"Oh ho ho..." she said as she turned to her attacker. "You better watch it buddy!" she would grin as she aimed her next attack at him. He was pretty wet from Paige's attack, but she couldn't let that boy get away with drenching her!

It seemed that Cash had made it out of the first bout unscathed, which was certainly better than yesterday! "C'mon Cash, lets get these boys!" she would yell playfully while taking aim.

Alec smiled as he was able to successfully hit the one girl. Alec's mouth became agape when he felt the cold water on his turned back. However this quickly became a full grin, she was good. Alec turned to look her way in a laugh and a shout of “Hey!” He laughed, not at her, but at the situation. He'd let his guard down much too fast after going for someone else. She'd found his weak spot, his reflexes may have been quick. It was however extremely difficult for him to multi-task. He'd take his own weakness to his advantage. If he couldn't multi-task there was still a good chance the boy could focus on one task at once. There was some semblance of hope there. It was something Alec had to do, Alec to be better this time. He was determined, that was enough.

His eyes had lost attempts to track his teammate as he was focused on this girl. If anything the smart move would have been the recruit her. The problem was the stronger one were bound to turn on you once it came close, once they had enough power. Even as he began to realize this he'd become the attempted target of an attack. Alec moved as any smart focused person would do. It wasn't hard. It was the shouting that alerted him. But the attacker, they had another thing coming for them. Their shout was meant as a playful remark perhaps, an ode to that whole stupid thing. It didn't matter what the intent was it had now asserted a very uncalled for and aggressive act on Alec's part.(In testament to his anger he pulled out his wand spouting whatever spell he could think of. It wasn't for the game. A silent way to get her to shut up)Too explain how it had become this, it was best to start off with the certain emotions that caused the rather explosive and impulsive reaction.

It wasn't news that Alec disliked any reminder of the weird moments that had gone on at his home. Especially that incident. He hadn't yet made it clear to Cash. Still, it was clear to many other people how Alec viewed it. They'd gotten a solid taste of how nasty Alec could be when the only person who'd known had tried to talk about it. Wyatt. Alec locked him out of the house in anger and spite. The boy hadn't thought it through. It resulted in Wyatt ending up hurt. It added too Alec's list of regrets. Anger was hard for Alec because he didn't get mad. More often than not he was triggered by other's actions. It looked as if it were anger, when he was only acting in fear.

The actual anger was hard to deal, it was gutted with other hard feelings Alec couldn't name. He didn't know how to deal with it. He was impulsive, he tend to act without thinking things through and that came up with a lot of bad decisions. Especially when it came to how to deal with his anger. He just tend to snap. It wasn't healthy but with the other large amounts of emotion he'd been hiding away it was destined.

That may have been the old news, but there old with the old in the the new. Or at the very least adding the new to the old. Alec disliked things like the above things mentioned be mentioned, sure. Alec hated anything that had ever had to do with his mom. She had been a big factor in this one. Alec didn't smile as his eyes had settled completely on Cash. He forgot about the water gun. It was going to stay in his right hand aimlessly sitting there with no purpose as he reached for his wand.

He'd kept his wand with him for the sake of not misplacing it as he always did with his things. The very act of holding onto it wasn't wrong, it was innocent to bring it around. As he pulled his wand out, he was aware his actions may have played within the rules of the game set-up. Alec knew he shouldn't be doing spells outside of duelling, that or with supervision, keeping it productive. Even if all that was disregarded he knew it was still wrong. His intent, he was angry with Cash. He was upset with them, he wanted them to just close their mouth. Give them a little shock, something to get the message through. His spell didn't come from a place of playfulness in spirit of the game. Alec had never promised to play nice.

After he cast this spell no matter the outcome he would turn away and focus back on the game and. His brows furrowed slightly as he slipped he gripped his wand for a moment. His left hand was shaking slightly. Alec slipped his wand back into his pocket. His eyes catching the girl who'd shot him with water earlier. He regained some senses, worrying slightly that this girl now thought bad of him. Not enough however to turn and check on Cash. It was just a disarming-charm anyway. It couldn't do any real harm.

This post was written right after the mod and editing it would be a lengthy process, so I'll be posting alec's reactions to any other interaction in my next post.}

The first few moments of the battle water fight were pretty confusing, and Gabriella found it hard to track what was going on. Luckily nobody had attacked her yet, but that could change pretty soon, and the Ravenclaw was well aware of it.

Most of her understanding of what was going on around her she got from the commentary of one of the Beauxbatons kids running it - a boy (Berry), although she hadn't caught his name. According to him, someone called Snow White had been attacked multiple times, and she was glad this wasn't her. Actually, Gabriella herself had been likened to Snow White in the past, so it would be rather complicated if two Snow Whites were being attacked and nobody was able to tell them apart.

Suddenly, a girl ran in, a girl she recognised all too well, unfortunately - the girl who had mocked her and Tory earlier on in the camp. (Scarlett) She shuddered as she remembered that day - easily the worst day of camp, made even worse when some red-haired third-year had entered uninvited and begun shipping her with her mortal enemy. Enemies-to-lovers, she had said. Obviously, it wasn't like Gabby had made it any better for herself. She had whacked Tory with a book, which had made her red, she had insisted on bickering with her enemy like an old married couple and - most importantly - she had found herself rolling around on the floor, her arch-nemesis wriggling on top of her. Not a nice image.

Anyhow, this was the girl who had just entered, and Gabriella was determined to get revenge. Stealthily she ducked down behind a rock and watched as Scarlett - she remembered now that that was the girl's name - went straight for the other girl involved in the organisation, Cattie or something. Did they know each other? Gabriella wondered. Or was she just being unnecessarily mean to Cattie like she had been to her...?

Either way, Gabriella felt she had to get revenge for the events of the 9th August - yes, it had been that momentous she still remembered the date - and pointed her water gun right at Scarlett. The scarlet devil (Gabriella smirked at her wordplay) was pretty far away, but Gabby's aim was good, and she was angry, and she was almost certain she could get a hit. You deserve it, she thought, as she pulled the trigger and the water squirted out.

"Yesss!!" Scarlet exclaimed, performing a spontaneous half jump type manoeuvre after realising her shot on the girl had been successful. The curly dark head girl (Paige) now looked to be one of the wettest in the group, but looking around at everyone else, the majority of students were still dry. Although she was tempted to go for the same person again, she knew she couldn't try make her more wet whilst there were others that were dry, 'time for a new target' she thought.

She noticed an older dark haired girl (Lavinia), who she remembered had been the target of quite a few water attacks, looked to still be completely dry. Scarlet didn't know her, but figured if there was some sort of team forming, it could only help her to help them out, 'right?' she wondered.

Already, Scarlet could see two students readying their water guns and aiming for the tall dark haired girl, one being the girl who's joint birthday was being celebrated, and the other, a blonde guy, again older than her.

"You guys want a hand?!" Scarlet said jokingly, calling to those who had aimed at the older dark haired girl before, readying her water gun once again, she now directed her gun at the same girl.

A few seconds passed as Shanelle waited for her attack to land, her body still hidden behind the boulder, at least that was what she hoped. Shanelle held her water gun close to her body and peek out from behind the rock. She couldn’t see the attack take place but she assumed that it had missed seeing that the girl she had aimed for was still perfectly dry and there was a patch of wet ground next to her. “Damn it!” Determined to land a successful attack, she searched for another possible target. She thought she saw a small group of people talking, probably forming alliances, which wouldn’t go well for her.

Her eyes landed on Paige, a girl she had seen around the castle several times, but hadn't talked to before. Paige was already wet, maybe she wasn’t that good at evading attacks unlike the girl who easily sidestepped Shanelle’s attack?

Bringing her upper body from the refuge of the rock, Shanelle aimed carefully, taking a bit more time than she hoped for and fired. She made sure that the jet of water was already on its way before ducking out of view. She learned that trick from a muggle book she read about archery, never move before the arrow leaves the bow or the shot will have a high chance of missing. She figured that shooting a water gun would be similar. “Please, please, please.” Shanelle whispered softly to herself, that attack has to work.

"Oh, yeah!" She said, as her shot hit and thrust her first in the air. Her aim hadn't failed her, luckily. Apparently making herself a target, a blonde fired at Paige. She was pretty much innocent, all she did was shoot someone with water! its like basketball, just dodge the offending player. She thought. Yeah, simple. She turned her body and laughed out loud as the water just missed her.

Apparently distracted, her joy did not last long as she felt something extremely cold hit her shorts. She yelped as the cold water hit and before laughing. She turned around, scanning the faces to find who shot at her. A girl who was still dry. "Damn." Averting her eyes to Cash, she nodded and laughed. "I'm in!" After all, a team is stronger than one. She heard her actual name, not sunscreen girl, and turned. She smiled. "What's up, Starlee?!" She asked, before turning around, determined not to keep her eyes off the war.

She felt like she was losing bad, and, to her dismay, saw the girl who had hit her team up. Well, great. She'll be better. Something was familiar about her, though... Paige pondered. Of course! She was a cabin mate! "Scarlet, is this how you treat a cabin mate?" She asked, laughing.

She aimed her water gun and aimed at the blonde who had missed her earlier. "ill take down your team! She said, laughing.

"Darn it!"The Cuban descendant exclaimed as they missed their target. They could shot Alec perfectly if only Cash could shake the unpleasant feeling they felt that was emitted by Scarlet. After Cash asked Starlee to formed an alliance with the green eyes, the other serpent agree to the proposal.

Then Starlee called out the curly raven haired girl by her name. Cash knew by now the second year Hufflepuff goes by Paige. Paige also agree to be the young Ironwoods alliance. They looked around for another person to be one of their team member but for now, Paige and Starlee are enough for their team.

It seems everybody that attend this birthday games had the same way of thinking as Cash. Slowly teams are form left and right. "Good shot"Cash said to Paige after they averted their eyes from the other teams into their own. Even if it is not Cash that drenched Alec, at least Paige got him and Cash smile at Paige's little victory.

So far the Beater managed to stay dry unlike yesterday. Yesterday Cash and their clothes are ruined. That awful tomato smell was very hard to get rid of it. But their luck could change in this game too. There a possibility that Cash would not be as dry as they are right now at the end of this birthday event.

It seems calling out Alec as their fiancé in public setting is not the smart move to do. From where Cash situated, they can see that the curly haired boy had switched from his water gun onto his wand. "Really now, Mason?"Cash addressed the Gryffindor third year duelist. Did Alec expected Cash to just lay low and do nothing?

If that what Alec think they will do, then Alec had another thing coming. Cash tossed their water gun onto the ground not that far from them. They will keep their water gun easily accessible in case the spell that they will do failed them. In this game, Cash need to think quick and able to multitasked.

Just like how a cowboy ready for a shoot out, Cash then drawn out their wand that they store in the back pocket of the short that they wore. They pointed their wand at Alec and hoping their spell did not failed them.

She succeeded in hitting the random boy in the chest in what the announcer described as impressive! She would take that, it was a win in her book. Though Serena was honestly not sure how long her luck would last. Either way, she was ready to pick another target. At least, she was about to when she heard the boy she had just hit shout towards her.

The mention of Arjan Oberoi crossed her ears. She tilted her head, wondering where that came from. The two of them were so different, in many ways. A foot difference between them, different surnames, their eyes and hair were different colours. The most they had in common was that they shared a race - they were both Indian. Serena had managed to successfully avoid being connected with him for years. A few people knew, of course. Those who had met them as a family. But she never really wanted to openly tell people about their relationship because she hated to be judged by his behaviour. "Oberoi? Nah, I'm a Towers," She responded to his question. It was not a lie. She was a Towers. He was not. It was that simple, really. He did not want to be associated with her, nor her him. This was the way to distance themselves.

Turning to find another target, she picked a nearby girl that seemed to be relatively dry compared to some others.
