The House Cup Archives

It might be the summer holidays but there's no break for the house cup! Hufflepuff has grabbed the win for the July house cup with a decent point lead on the others with their total of 675 house points! Coming second was Gryffindor with 636 points, with Slytherin third at 603 points. Ravenclaw came in fourth with 542 points. This win marks the second for Hufflepuff in 2021, only 3 months after their last one.

We have four top students for the month! Dealla Prince of Ravenclaw came flying in at first place with 54 points. Opeila Winters of Slytherin slithered into second place with 46 points and with 41 points each, both Bridget Collins and Vale Ashwood found themselves tied together for third place.

In the spirit of summer camp, the top fifteen overall earners have been invited to take part in a fun Summer Camp Adventures activity. As two are unable to take part, those who came in 16th and 17th have been allocated their spots for this event. Whilst this activity is not main story related, you're encouraged to follow along with the groups and see who succeeds in the camp adventures. The winning house - Hufflepuff - will be rewarded with another prize, which we will announce in the coming weeks. Congratulations to all of the winners.

Slytherin has claimed the August Cup with 1042 house points! They were closely followed by the lions of Gryffindor, who earned 1010 house points! In third place was Hufflepuff with 876 points, and last but not least, Ravenclaw is in fourth place with 678 house points! This is Slytherin's second win of the 2021 year!

We have three top students of August, and all of them are second years! Nicholas McCowan crushed the competition by earning a huge 106 house points for Gryffindor! The student in second place is Hufflepuff Lea Hirsch, who earned 81 house points for the badgers! And in third place is a member of the month's cup winner - Slytherin Violet Carrington, who earned 77 house points! These three will be joined by the 4th, 5th, and 6th place earners - Aurora Ranvier, Ruka Burnett-Tân, and Avery Chen - in planning the Fall Ball that takes place in October.

Slytherin has claimed the September Cup with 963 house points! They were followed by the lions of Gryffindor, who earned 829 house points! In third place was Ravenclaw with 742 points, and last but not least, Hufflepuff is in fourth place with 558 house points! This is Slytherin's second win in a row and third win in total for the 2021 year!

We have three top students of September, our top earner being @Matthew Gray from House Slytherin who earned 114 points this past month, the last time so many points was earned by a student was in April of 2021. Great job Matthew! @Noah Jupe (@Cody Stevenson) from House Gryffindor came in second with 107 house points and he was only earning points for his house for part of the month making this an impressive feat. Finally, in third we have @Liana Kerr who earned 84 house points from Slytherin this past month. Great job all of you!

In the interest of recent complaints leveled to the staff, we will no longer be offering Main Story Rewards for top earning houses as a possible reward. As such the top three earners this month will be offered a broom with a value up to 20 Galleons. The top three earners may contact myself or any Head of House for the delivery of your chosen broom, Cody (new character, Noah being his old account) can tell us the broom he would like to send to Noah. For reasons of fairness because Cody is able to do those very same homeworks again for full points and earn top rewards, I am not able to offer his present account Cody the broom, however Noah can be sent a broom so if he returns to his former account he will be a broom richer. In addition, members of Slytherin who have earned 17 or more points this past month will be given 5 galleons. This will be transferred into your accounts within the next few days.

Next month we will be offering a pet to the top three earners and 5 galleons to users of the winning house that have earned 17 or more house points.

Slytherin has claimed the October Cup with 871 house points! They were followed by the eagles of Ravenclaw who earned 850 house points! In third place was Gryffindor with 694 points, and last but not least, Hufflepuff is in fourth place with 669 house points! This is Slytherin's third win in a row and fourth win in total for the 2021 year. Many Slytherins are working tirelessly for a fourth month is a row. If they are the top earning house for a fourth month, then they would make a new record.

We have four top students of October, our top earner being Cody Stevenson from House Hufflepuff who earned 107 points this past month, their previous account had also gotten to the top three earners with the same number of points. They seem to enjoy homework. Great job Cody! Vale Ashwood from House Slytherin came in second with 71 house points and contributed heavily to their house victory. Finally, in third, we have a tie! Avery Chen who earned 66 house points for Slytherin this past month, and Adelaide Barlowe who also earned 66 house points for Ravenclaw! Great job all of you!

These top 4 earners will be receiving a free pet, and users who earned at least 17 points for the top house (Slytherin) will be receiving 5 galleons! Congratulations to all!

Slytherin has made a new record for most consecutive house cup wins in a row, FOUR! It was a close race this month. Slytherin claimed the November Cup with 1047 house points, but Ravenclaw almost took it away from them with 1046 house points. A single point making all of the difference, which brings us to the point that every bit f effort for your house can help and make a difference. Third and fourth also were very close, a 2 point gap between them! Gryffindor at 738 and Hufflepuff with 736.

We have three top students for November, all from House Slytherin. Our top earner being Liana Kerr who earned 83 house points this past month, followed by Flash Holmwood and Henry Knight who both earned 74 points each. Together the three of them earned 231 House Points this past month through a combination of voting and completing homework. Your hard work has not gone unnoticed, great job the three of you!

These top 3 earners will be receiving the Underground Map, an item that will provide players with valuable access to the underbelly of the school. Users from the winning house, Slytherin who earned at least 17 points this past month will be receiving the Fake Permission Form which grants users access to Hogsmeade early. Some users have already gotten the Fake Permission form early due to an error in giving out rewards [20 Nov 2021, 21:15] so have already gotten their reward, but for those who have not gotten the Fake Permission Form already, please expect the Permission Form in the coming hours. Congratulations to all.

At the end of this month, the winning house will be getting Frog Cards. The top three earners of December will receive 3 Gold frog cards and 50 chocolate frogs to open. All students of the winning house who have earned their house a minimum of 17 house points will be given 3 Silver frog cards and 25 frog cards to open. (Those who qualify for both will get both 3 gold cards, 3 silver cards and 75 frogs).

Slytherin's streak is finally over. This month Ravenclaw won the house cup after a very near loss last month. This is their first win since June. Ravenclaw earned 723 house points this past month, followed by Slytherin with 689 house points, Gryffindor with 672 house points and Hufflepuff with 584 house points. Will Ravenclaw streak of their own meeting or defeating Slytherin? Quite possibly, anything is possible for this house when the4y put their minds to it.

We have three top students for November, two of which from House Ravenclaw. Our top earner being Hunter Argentum who earned 55 house points this past month, followed by Maggie Hawkins from House Slytherin with 47 house points and third place was tied between two hard-working students -- Cecily Quinn and Evelynn Decipio from Gryffindor who both earned 43 house points.

These top 3 (well four in this case) earners will be receiving 3 chocolate frog cards, a popular tradeable item. Gold cards are very rare, only about 1% of cards drawn are gold cards, so it is a worthy brag to tell others how you have completed your collection. They will also receive 50 chocolate frogs to open, hopefully this will round out their collection. In addition, all students of the winning house [Ravenclaw] who have earned their house a minimum of 17 house points will be given 3 Silver frog cards and 25 actual frog cards to open. Those who qualify for both will get both 3 gold cards, 3 silver cards and 75 frogs (Cecily Quinn and Hunter Argentum). Congratulations to all.

At the end of this month, The top three overall earners of January will be given 10 galleons, regardless of their house. All students of the winning house who have earned their house a minimum of 17 house points will be given 5 galleons. (Those who qualify for both will get 15 galleons). Another month for Ravenclaw, they not only started the new year off right but they have maintained their momentum through the month of January. Perhaps they have their eye on a consecutive record. The cup is never earned with ease. Ravenclaw earned 1118 house points, the most a house has earned since March of 2021. Followed by Slytherin with 1012 house points, Hufflepuff with 909 house points and finally Gryffindor with 795 house points. A force to be reckoned with this year.

Draven Mirador is our top earner, earning a total of 149 house points, this is the most a top student has earned since Jake Morris earned 193 house points back in June of 2020. This is followed by Lily Bridges of House Ravenclaw who earned 94 house points and Dealla Prince who earned 85 house points. These top 3 earners will be receiving 10 galleons. In addition, all students of the winning house [Ravenclaw] who have earned their house a minimum of 17 house points (there is 23 of them) will be given 5 galleons. Those who qualify for both will get a total of 15 galleons. Congratulations to all.

At the end of this month, The top six overall earners of February will be a part of the Spring Ball Planning Committee, the winning house will get chocolate frogs.

The top six overall earners of February will form a planning committee for Spring. They will have the opportunity to organize a Spring ball, which iNPCs from all schools in attendance. This ball should take place anytime in March-April (up to the organizers). All students of the winning house who have earned their house a minimum of 17 house points will be given 50 chocolate frogs. (Those who will qualify will get to organize the ball and get 50 frogs). This ball is going to have a few additional surprises that this committee is going to be privy to also that will rock the wizarding world.

For the third month in a row Ravenclaw has earned the house cup. Not only have they started the new year off right but they have maintained their momentum through the month of January and February. They are now in the running for Slytherin's consecutive record of four months in a row is they win this next month also. The cup is never earned with ease. Ravenclaw earned 1001 house points, followed by Hufflepuff with 930 house points. Hufflepuff has not earned this many points since July 2021! Slytherin came in third with 875 house points and finally Gryffindor with an appreciable 798 house points. Ravenclaw has proven themselves to be a force to be reckoned with this year.

Despite getting third in house rankings, the top two earners were Slytherin. @Starlee Kennedy from house Slytherin is our top earner this month, having earned 99 house points this past month. This is followed by @Henry Knight and @Emma Wynn who are both tied for second with 76 house points, from house Slytherin and Hufflepuff respectively. This month he top six earners will be getting a prize, so we are also including @Aly Salinger our only top-earning Ravenclaw for this month with 70 house points, @Elsa Veronica Bennett who was very excited about this in Discord (I was watching) from Gryffindor who was tied for fifth with Flash Holmwood from house Slytherin with 67 earned points. It is uncommon for the top student earners to have such a high overall aggregate. These winners will be getting letters from me shortly and altered accesses as they will be arranging our next Blossom Ball.

Speaking of the Blossom Ball, a lot will be happening this year. During this event (or happening during the international visit) the goblet of fire will be pulled from the archives of this school and those who dare to cast their lot in hopes of being the chosen champion. The ball will be the mark of something new, a beginning if you will and these players will help make it.

In addition, all students of the winning house [Ravenclaw] who have earned their house a minimum of 17 house points (there are 23 of them again) will be given 50 chocolate frog cards. Those who qualify for both (only Aly) will be both a part of the Ball Planning Committee and get some chocolate frogs. Congratulations to all.

At the end of this month, the top three overall earners of March will be given a broom of their choice (worth up to 20 Galleons only) to use as they want. All students of the winning house who have earned their house a minimum of 17 house points will be given 5 galleons. Not only have they started the new year off right but they have maintained their momentum through the month of January, February and now March. Four months in the row is the present record for holding the house cup, a prestige that is shared between them and Slytherin. If they are able to maintain this momentum for one more month then they would be the sole bearers of this record: most consecutive house cup wins in a row. The cup is never earned with ease. Ravenclaw earned 1046 house points, followed by Hufflepuff with 969 house points. Slytherin came in third with 904 house points and finally Gryffindor with an appreciable 630 house points. Ravenclaw has proven themselves to be a force to be reckoned with this year, being in third pace themselves just a week ago before they buckled down and took the last moment win.

This is followed by @Sophia Nelson from house Ravenclaw, this first-year ensured their houses victory having earned 99 house points. In third, @Emma Wynn from house Hufflepuff. This first-year earned her house 75 house points. The top three overall earners of March will be given a broom of their choice (worth up to 20 Galleons) to use as they want. They can contact any Head of House or myself with their broom of choice named and it will be transferred over to them. In addition, all students of the winning house (Ravenclaw) who have earned Ravenclaw a minimum of 17 house points this past month will be given 5 galleons. Those who qualify for both will get a broom of their choice (up to 20 galleons) and 5 galleons - or a broom worth up to 25 galleons. We have plenty of new items in the shop so don't spend it all in one place.

Last month's winners are still hard at work preparing for the Blossom Ball which opens up tomorrow. During this event the goblet of fire will announce the school champions. The ball will be the mark of something new, a beginning if you will.

At the end of this month, the top three overall earners of April will be given a free pet of their choice. We have recently gotten back from Zach the black cat so I hope that gets some use but there is a wide range of other pets that we are sure you will love. Winners will still have to do a roleplay acquiring the pet as per our pet system rules but they will not be charged. All students of winning house who have earned their house a minimum of 17 house points during the month of April will be given 5 galleons. Those who qualify for both will get a free pet and 5 galleons. There are some new pet items in the shop that might be worth a gander.

A Record Smashing Win!


For the fifth month in a row Ravenclaw has earned the house cup. Not only have they started the new year off right but they have maintained their momentum through the month of January, February, March and now April. Four months in the row was the previous record for consecutive months of holding the house cup, a prestige that was shared between them and Slytherin. In true Ravenclaw fashion, the house wanted to rule supreme in academia. They maintained this momentum for one more month, making them the sole bearers of the record: most consecutive house cup wins in a row. The cup is never earned with ease. Ravenclaw earned 1064 house points, followed by Hufflepuff with 882 house points. Slytherin came in third with 774 house points and finally Gryffindor with an appreciable 735 house points. Ravenclaw has proven themselves to be a force to be reckoned with this year, refusing to allow anyone else the month win.

@Justin Whiteley from house Hufflepuff is our top earner this month, having earned an incredible 115 house points this past month. This is followed by @Harper Jordan from house Ravenclaw earned 97 house points. In third, @Shiawase Mamori from house Slytherin earned their house 93 house points. The top three overall earners of April will be given a free pet of their choice. They will have to do a roleplay acquiring the pet as per our pet system rules but we will not charge them. All students of winning house (Ravenclaw) who have earned their house a minimum of 17 house points will be given 10 galleons. (Those who qualify for both will get a free pet and 10 galleons). For those that already own a pet, they can either get a new one or they can "gift" this item to a friend. The top three earners can contact any Head of House or myself with their pet of choice named once they have completed their roleplay and it will be transferred over to them. The 10 galleons these players are getting this month is a happy surprise as we have increased the compensation for top houses in accordance to the general raises players have also gotten.

February's winners are still hard at work preparing for the Blossom Ball which is ongoing. The excitement of the Hexwizard Tournament is underway. The school champions have been announced and this is the start of a plotline for many interested users.

At the end of this month, the top six overall earners of May will be given the role of Summer Planning Committee Member . This is a new prize that is similar to the Ball Planners but involves the summer months. The summer is an important time for players to get together from all schools outside of Hogwarts proper. This will be important for the Hexwizard Tournament as well as some story opportunities that I will be partnering with these top 6 earners. Camp takes place in July or August (up to staff as it lines up with quidditch, duelling etc). Please note: this is not a ball. Rather, students get the chance to organize official events in the camp that would go on the camp timeline. All students of winning house who have earned their house a minimum of 17 house points will be given 102 chocolate frogs, which is an increase from the 50 that they would have been previously expecting. (Those who will qualify will get to organize the events and get 102 frogs).
