Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw From the Stands
Serena laughed softly, "Everyone's a little weird - it's what makes everyone great in their own way," she replied with a firm nod. She wasn't sure if she was surprised or not. That stereotype was not one that she associated Gryffindors with. Bravery, courage, recklessness - yes. However, those traits were not necessarily required for Quidditch. Perhaps they were in some respect, now that she thought about it. You had to fly on an inanimate object relying on it and your own magical abilities incredibly high up in the air. Who knows exactly what distance you might have to fly up? The snitch, after all, could go anywhere... She actually had no idea if it was contained somehow.
Luckily for her, she was not attempting to be a seeker. If that was the case, she certainly ought to have figured this out by now. "I guess everyone wants to be the new Potter or Weasley though," She joked, knowing full well that a number of the famous names from the previous war were former members of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. She knew a few of the Weasley members were in the team too. At least, that's what her parents had told her. They were, after all, one of the few pureblood families left in the UK - or at least, they were until Ron married a muggleborn. So her parents would mention the name over dinner, as they did with all of the pureblood families they knew. She was certainly glad that she could now go through meals without ever having that discussion, well as long as she was in Hogwarts and not back at home.
Serena smiled at the boy beside her, grateful he wasn't mad at her. He seemed so lovely, she would have hated for him to hold a grudge against her. The relief washed over her, allowing her to relax a little more and just joke around with him. "Anatole, eh? I'll add it to the list of people I've successfully hit then," She joked. She certainly did not have a list. That would be weird. If anything, she would like to keep that list at a minimum. Zero was preferred.
Scanning down the roaster, she looked up at Anatole, "Are you here to watch any friends play?" She asked, wondering if he was close to anyone in the game. A few of her friends happened to be playing for both sides, so she couldn't favour one side over the other.
Anatole cheered on the Gryffindor team before commenting they were out. Suddenly dropping her feet to the ground, moving them off the railings, Serena peered over it to have a look. She spotted several players making their way onto the pitch donning their Quidditch uniforms. A massive grin spread across her face. It was so exciting, hopefully this meant the game was about to start soon! She could not wait! The first game of the season was finally here... The real question was, who would be the first winners?
Serena grinned, she could hear people's cheers start up. A boy's voice near her cheered for the Ravenclaw team, whilst Anatole was cheering for Gryffindor. Oof, who should she support now?
