@Lucia Fox @Henry Knight @Violet Carrington────── ☆ ───────Scarlett loved Spin the Bottle. She had played it a grand total of one time, and it hadn't even been particularly extraordinary, in any way. But it was the ultimate coming-of-age ritual for a teenager like her, and that was why she had decided to join the group of fourteen other people sitting around a bottle and spinning it. She just loved sitting down, legs crossed like when she was little, and spinning a bottle to see who it landed on. The anticipation of the moment as the bottle started to slow down, passing one person after the next, and when you're sure you know who you're kissing, it keeps on spinning past one more person, two-
That was what was going on at the moment. Nestled next to Cassie with Charles on the other side of her friend, Scarlett fished salt and vinegar crisps out of a packet and ate them with a crunch as the bottle spun round and round and round. The girl who had spun - who was kinda cute honestly - had put quite some momentum onto it. Or maybe that was just Scarlett's impatience. Anyway it whizzed around, slowing to a stop on...her? Scarlett grinned and put her crisp packet on the floor beside her. Finally! Some action!
"Don't steal my salt and vinegar babies," she warned Cassie and Charles, stepping up to the girl, who was...blushing? Just her luck - the people, no - the girls, she liked romantically never liked her back and then the only one who seemed to like her, Scarlett wasn't interested in. Wait that sounded a bit harsh - the girl was cute. And really, really pretty like everyone at Hogwarts. But not exactly her type?
Still, Scarlett flushed slightly at the thought of kissing a girl, even if it was on the cheek. "Hi Carrington!" she started, with a smile. First impressions mattered. "Uh thanks, your hair looks quite nice as well. And cheek kisses are fine!" Scarlett tilted her head to the side slightly, to make the kiss easier for Carrington.────── ☆ ───────

Scarlet had arrived area in which the game was to be held a little late, it looked like most of the others were already there but she didn't think they had actually started yet, in fact as she was sitting down, she watched as the first person reached out to spin the bottle. She had hurriedly grabbed her favourite teal shirt to wear over the shorts and t-shirt she had been wearing before, in case it got cooler later in the evening.
Although Scarlet had expected to feel nervous for spin the bottle, she found that as she sat amongst the other students on a comfy beanbag, she grew more excited with each spin of the bottle. She hadn't really given much thought as to who she would be most interested in kissing from the group, of course she would prefer a boy, but since a lot of the other students looked to be around her age, she reassured herself that they could probably laugh off whatever happens.
Soon enough it was Scarlet's turn to spin the bottle, now it came to it, maybe she was a little nervous, just a little. Reaching for the bottle, she gave it a good spin and watched as it passed everyone in the group, her gaze would switch from watching the spinning bottle to the faces of the other students. Then it began to slow down, and did so in such a way that she first thought it was going to land on a blonde boy, but it moved a tad further and stopped on a much darker haired boy.
She honestly thought he was attractive, his piercing dark eyes matched his dark curls, all of which combined to give him a mysterious aura. She didn't recall seeing him during her last year and he didn't look young in a way to be a first year, so she assumed he had come from one of the other international schools. She didn't know why this would make a difference, but for some reason this fact made her more shy, "Heyyy..." she said nervously, "unusual scenario to meet someone for the first time, but I'm Scarlet." She didn't know how to go about asking him if he would want to kiss or hug or...anything. All of a sudden these doubts had built up from no-where and changed her words as she spoke, "do you want to.. hug?" she asked, with slightly more intonation than she was expecting, she had started the game planning on not backing out of a kiss, but at least for this round a hug was all she offered.

It seemed Mocha was mourning the loss of Earl's hair, as her usual hiding spot had all but vanished. On a normal day, she would have been found watching from behind his ear, passing judgement an those who dared disturb her from her slumber. Now she was perched on his shoulder instead, hidden underneath the blanket along with Earl. Only the boy's gray eyes and the top of his hair could be seen, as he'd wrapped himself in a cocoon of blanket, sinking down into the beanbag with a comfy sigh.
Ten whole minutes passed before the bottle spun to a stop in his direction. The girl who'd spun it was adorable. Golden hair which tumbled down her shoulders in waves, resting atop a tasteful gray dress. It was much to hot for those long sleeves, and Earl doubted it would stay pristine for very long. Camp and nice clothes didn't mix together well. He (and his favorite pair of white jeans) had learned that the hard way. She had an anxious look on her face, and seemed to grow a bit ill at the thought of kissing him.
Earl didn't blame her. He remembered his first kiss. It hadn't been in a game of spin the bottle. The moment had been sweet and perfect, and he wouldn't have traded it for the world. A smile blossomed on his face whenever he thought of Daisy and her familiar hands cupping his cheeks, a determined look in her eyes.
This girl deserved the same. "I love hugs!!!" he beamed, shuffling from underneath the pile of blankets and setting Mocha down carefully. Making his way to where she was sitting, he lopped his arms around her waist, squeezing her to his chest as if she was a plushie he loved. Now my dear reader, it's important to note that Earl was a great hugger. His partner (he hadn't caught her name) was a bit taller than him. She could warp her arms comfortably around his neck. He fit perfectly against her, small and warm, and vibrating joy. Somehow, throughout the hot camp days he'd managed to keep smelling like a cupcake. Like oranges and honey and ginger, as if he'd spent the entire day coped up in a bakery.
"You're really pretty," he told her when he'd pulled away, fishing a caramel from his pocket and offering it to her. Returning back to his seat, he burrowed underneath the blankets, a happy smile on his face.

Why did she think this was a good idea? Probably because she was a naive young girl who made stupid decisions and decided that a game that involved kissing would be great fun. She had heard of the game before, she knew what it entailed, she knew she didn't want to actually kiss anyone, yet she still signed up for it. Why? Because she thought it would be fun, and it's a game all the cool kids play. Right? She was definitely not cool though and she was definitely starting to regret her decision. The first half of the slumber party had been great, there was plenty of things for everyone and she was having a good time. She had even managed to claim a beanbag and a blanket for herself and had worked her way through about 5 packets of crisps before she started to feel sick and decided it'd probably be best to stop.
Then spin the bottle happened and now she was sat in a circle with a big group of people, with a bottle placed in the middle. Amelia glared at the bottle, hoping it knew that this was its fault. Even though she willingly decided to play the game. The Hufflepuff was sipping nervously on a can of Coca Cola, watching the bottle spin round and round, landing on different people. While she was watching everyone else, she started to feel a bit more relaxed as the bottle had decided to have some mercy on her and not land on her just yet. Then someone spun it and it landed on her. Amelia put down her can and gulped nervously, looking up at the boy. She had never seen him before, but at least he wasn't terrible looking. He did look quite mysterious though, as he was wearing all black. She would've been slightly intimidated if she wasn't feeling so nervous. He got up and started walking towards Amelia, who froze and stared at him wide-eyed. Should she run? No, that'd be rude. She signed up for this, she can't back out now, that'd be cowardly. It's only a stupid game of spin the bottle. She could do this. She had barely even registered the fact that he was standing in front of her until he held out his hand. She took his hand and stood up. Love? Well, she'd certainly never been called that before. Taking a deep breath, she offered him a gentle smile of her own and said, "Hi." She wasn't entirely sure what to do next. But then boy was shifting his weight and was... wait, leaning in? Nevermind, he was just going towards her cheek. That was fine, she didn't mind a kiss on the cheek. She smiled as he kissed her cheek then pulled away, walking back to his place. She stood frozen for a split second until she realized the game had resumed and sat back down.
She watched the game continue, as time passed she thankfully started to feel a bit more relaxed, burrowing more into the beanbag and pulling the blanket closer around herself. Hopefully next time she wouldn't freeze in front of her partner.

Mentioning/Interacting With: @Martyna RomeroEnglish: #6B5076
Welsh: #9E8FB9
Uzbek: #874343Okay, so Naomi is very good at debating, and Autumn knows this very well, but wow, she should have known better than to get herself roped into signing up for a game of spin the bottle. But she didn't, like the idiot she is, and now she had to lie in the bed she had made.
No matter how full of hormonal teenagers the made she had made was.
Honestly, she could easily be a killjoy jerk and just participate without kissing anyone. They couldn't force her to kiss someone, right? Right?
She was wearing a black shirt, tucked under high-waisted, white shorts. A thick, black belt rested on her waist, and she had opted for her glasses instead of her lenses, in case she was stuck in an awkward situation and she had to throw them to the ground to break them as a distraction. It was a later time in the day, colder although it was clearly still summer, so under her shorts were black tights, and adorning her shoulders was a dark red denim jacket.
She walked up tensely to the area were the games were being held, and randomly joined a group filled with people who look her age. There was food around, and Autumn hadn't had much to eat during the day, so she was hungry. She reached for a biscuit, then immediately pulled away, filled with an irrational guilt. She opted rather for a grape juice, because even though she knew that it probably had a lot more calories and sugars than a biscuit, she didn't feel especially bad about it.
She watched awkwardly as the bottle began spinning, and couples began kissing, hugging or rejecting each other. She didn't really get what was supposed to be fun about it, and she was extremely uncomfortable, but at least the bottle hadn't landed on her so far.
Aaaaand, there it was. The dreaded bottle pointing at no other than yours truly. She had known she wouldn't have gone through the full game without the bottle landing on her at least once, but her active ignorance of the possibility that she would have her first kiss with a crowd watching it. She reminded herself once again that they couldn't force her to kiss anyone. It was fine!
But, then again, Naomi would not let her live it down if she went through a full game of spin the bottle, the notorious game where the purpose was literally to kiss people, without kissing anyone. And she would be so surprised if Autumn actually kissed someone here, and Autumn would get to be so smug about it. Then, Naomi could never tell her that she wasn't living her 'full teenage life' again, whatever that meant. So, maybe she would have her first kiss with a crowd watching it. Merlin, that was an equally awful and oddly exhilarating thing to think about.
Not that she had much time to think, what with the bottle almost glaringly pointing at her. She realised that she had not yet seen who had spun it her way. She inhaled slowly, and her gaze matched... Martyna Romero's, a first year she had seen around the common room once or twice. No, a second year, now. It was still sinking in that she, and everybody else, had graduated another year without almost-dying too many times.
Martyna said something about something, and Autumn didn't really hear it, too busy in her own head, panicking, but she made out some variation of 'won't chicken out if you won't' and knew instantly that in her two full years of studying in a stupidly dangerous school that was constantly trying to kill its students in some way or another, this was how she came to her demise.
"You know, I might just take that 'chicken out' option," she shrugged. "Hug?"
Okay, she didn't really want to hug someone she really didn't know that well, but Martyna sounded nervous, and it was a good step in the direction that would shut Naomi up about being teenager the right way.
Her arms extended out in an awkward manner, and her generally-intimidating aura was broken for a much more gauche, 'hi, I might not "act like it" but I'm still a 13 year old and I have 0 social skills because most of my social interactions consist of me glaring at people'-esque one.Action | Hug

Sleepover! What a brilliant end to a brilliant summer, Cassie thought happily as she changed into one of her favourite pairs of summer PJs - a white t-shirt bearing a funny slogan (well, 'I'm so EGG-cited' wasn't that funny to most people, but Cassie was a fan of bad jokes) which made her laugh every time she put it on, and a pair of shorts covered in eggs. She knew that this wouldn't be an all-night thing, which meant that it wasn't really a sleepover after all, but Cassie Heather still wanted to wear pyjamas. What other chance would she have? Deciding to leave her hair down for once, she reluctantly slipped on a pair of sandals and then thought twice. Eh, who cared? She discarded the sandals in her trunk and slipped out of the Thestral cabin barefooted.
Plenty of people were around the campfire by the time she got there (nobody else seemed to be wearing pyjamas, sadly) and Cassie immediately grabbed a can of Appletizer, popping it open and almost spilling it down her front. Luckily, though, the liquid just missed, and the Beauxbatons girl took a swig of the drink as she looked round for anyone she recognised. After a few seconds, she spotted Charles standing near a picnic blanket with a bag of crisps in one hand and a bottle of some sort of pop in the other. Cassie waved at him, heading over. "Charlie!" she grinned. "I hope you'll be sharing those crisps at some point."
Then, she caught sight of the circle and the bottle. Cassie's eyes widened as she also spotted Scarlett waiting to play the game, and she felt her mouth slide into a smirking grin. "Charles Nako Alluring, we are joining this right now," she decided, grabbing her friend's arm and pulling him into the circle, which seemed to effortlessly expand a little to accommodate them when Cassie sat down next to Scarlett. "Hello there, Ms. Lettuce," she smirked. "Is there something you'd like to tell us?"
Charles finally offered his friend the bag of crisps, and Cassie took a huge handful. "Thanks," she mumbled through her mouthful, then gave the Durmstrang boy a look as he spoke again. "I'm sure I'd agree wholeheartedly if I had any idea what you just said. Was that Spanish?" she guessed. She'd heard a bit of the language spoken around Beauxbatons, but as the majority of students spoke French she didn't actually know any of it.
The bottle began to spin and Cassie watched in anticipation. There was something recklessly addictive to this type of game, and indeed the only time anyone had ever kissed Cassie had been during a game of Spin the Bottle, several years ago. She had no idea if it counted as a real kiss though, since it had been short and on the cheek and hadn't lead to anything, which was good since Cassie hadn't been interested anyway. "I guess," she murmured back to Charles, then smirked at him. "You got your eyes on anyone?" she teased, elbowing him lightly in the side. "Too bad you-know-who's not here," she added, referencing Charles' crush on Drew, the American boy.
Charles joke landed with a snort from Cassie. "All four?" she suggested. "Who said it had to be just one? Although Hogwarts doesn't hold a candle to Beauxbatons in the sports department, of course. Or the balls one, probably, but I wouldn't know what made a ball good or bad to start wi-"
Cassie broke off.
The bottle had stopped spinning.
And it was pointing at Charles.
And Charles got up and kissed the boy who had spun it.
On the lips.
"Dude," Cassie said, impressed, once Charles had rejoined her. "I was not expecting that." She gave the boy, whom she was pretty sure she recognised as a Beauxbatons student, an interested look. "I think I ship it," she decided.
But as soon as Charles had come back, the bottle landed on Scarlett, who stood up. "If you say so," Cassie grinned, watching as her friend stepped up to the dark-haired girl who'd spun the bottle. Was it just her imagination, or were they both blushing?! Ooh, this would make a wonderful teasing opportunity. The two girls were a little more awkward than the two boys had been and elected to cheek kiss instead of on-the-mouth, and Cassie snickered at Scarlett's expression while she tilted her head.
Cassie decided that now was the time to do something herself, since the bottle didn't seem to like her today, and gave it a good hard whack. It didn't spin as much as Cassie had been planning on it doing, and landed on a blonde wearing jeans and some fancy t-shirt which Cassie figured was probably trendy. This was a complete guess though, since Cassie Heather found that there was no point in keeping up with fashion since it changed so much anyway. Cassie moved a few spaces across and plonked herself down next to the girl with a grin. "Hi, I'm Cassie," she said, figuring that introducing herself was the best way to start any interaction. The girl gave her her own name - Serena - and asked with a nervous smile whether or not Cassie wanted to kiss her. Cassie tilted her head, reading Serena's slightly shaky voice as apprehension and decided against it. "How 'bout a hug," she proposed and (without waiting for Serena's verdict on the matter) gave the other girl a squeeze, resting her head on Serena's shoulder for just a heartbeat before letting go. "'Kay?" she smiled. "I'll see you 'round, I guess," Cassie added before standing up and heading back to Charles and Scarlett.

Spin the Bottle Group 2
─────────────────────────────────Maximilien "Maxi" de Fostoncy
beauxbatons third year [x]english | french | #586d9d@Scarlet Salvatore─────────────────────────────────It took Maxi a while to finally realize what he was doing. Spin the Bottle - he thought it was a game of spinning the bottle, and all you had to do is to throw the bottle and hit the target. How humiliating. It turned out that he had to pick someone to kiss - determined by where the bottle stopped. Feeling being gypped, the French boy eyed the still spinning bottle scornfully - “I do wonder what the Englishmen here were thinking.”
Growing up in a strict pureblooded household, Maximilien was taught to be respectful. Respect the elders. Respect the young. Respect the professors. Respect the ladies. Respect your family. Respect everybody. Basically, respect was the key word to become a gentleman, as his grandfather had always said. And in the boy’s mind this game was not respectful. Alright, even though you could refuse to be kissed, the idea of kissing a random people…ugh. This was even worse than that truth or dare. Maxi had decided that it was a waste of time, and couldn’t hope more to escape. It would be far better to have s’mores or get some drinks back where everyone’s staying, or even to flee back to the cabin and read. Really, why did he sign up for this?
He watched the bottle spinning. The spinner was a girl, possibly younger than him and a Hogwartian, who looked quite adorable. Maxi shrugged. Being always a hopeless romantic, he strongly believed that adorable young girls shouldn’t be involved in such improper games. Young ladies should act more demure and reserved, unlike those - he glanced around, finding some people already started kissing their partners. Ah. Good for him, the bottle stopped in front of Alluring - who attempted to kiss Mademoiselle Browne last October - and Maxi believed that he must be interested in such things. But, ugh. Merlin wasn’t doing him a favour today. His last hope of being left out was dashed. The bottle did not stop, continued on, and stopped right before our Maximilien.
The girl introduced herself as Scarlet quite nervously. Didn’t her name mean “red”? Huh, interesting name for a dark-hair. Intrigued by the thought, Maxi chuckled slightly - which made him looked less serious. “Indeed, very unusual.” he replied rather sarcastically, stressing on the “unusual” in perfect English. “Well, my pleasure, Mademoiselle Scarlet. I believe you are from Hogwarts?” nodding at her, he continued. “Maximilien. Though Maxi could work.” he introduced, hastened to throw the “Maxi” in before anyone dared to call him “Max”, which was unacceptable. “Beauxbatons third year. Although I could speak English, you see.” he smiled politely. Huh. Looks like they could continue their conversation and skip the part of kissing…
“do you want to.. hug?”
Finally. Looks like he couldn’t escape it. Maxi frowned slightly, and looked straight into the light ash eyes of Scarlet’s. “I’m sorry, Mademoiselle, but…no.” feeling rather sorry for the girl being disappointed (would she?), he added. “You see, Mademoiselle Scarlet, I don’t think we should waste our time playing this…I didn’t realize that we are going to kiss a random person when I signed up. Kissing or hugging someone you do not love is disrespectful to love itself.” dreamy he sounded, the boy gave Scarlet a small smile. “All I could accept is to shake hands with you. And then…I’m sorry, but, I cannot bear staying here anymore.”
Once again he glanced around people hugging and kissing others. “Don’t you think this place is…chaotic?” he frowned, rather with disdain. “Is this game always held at your school?” he inquired, still frowning. Feeling that he might be acting too harsh and might disappoint the young girl, Maxi smiled a bit and offered his right hand to her. If Scarlet accepted, he would took her hand for her to shake. And then Maxi would let go of the girl’s hand, and stood up.
“Anyways, it’s lovely making your acquaintance, Mademoiselle Scarlet.” he concluded, feeling far better of finally leaving this place. “If you wish to leave as well, I could accompany you to the main area or back to your cabin. Either could work.” he offered, while bowing to her slightly. “I’ll see you around, then? Maybe until next time when we visit Hogwarts again?”
Still a flip of hair, a courteous smile, another small bow to the rest of the party, Maxi walked away. If Scarlet wished to leave as well, he would took her by his side and went somewhere she desired before retiring to his own spot at the party before joining the game. Either way, he would leave the scene, deciding that he would not join the so-called spin the bottle game anymore in the future.stats: sta 7 · eva 8 · wis 9 · arc 7 · str 2 · acc 8 (second year ones. haven’t updated.)

Charles wasn't expecting Xeno to kiss him but he did. The blonde felt his lips against his own. It was wet but simple. It felt warm. The kiss lasted for a few seconds then the two pulled away.
Charles offered the boy a smile and realized, that moment was what he wanted all summer. To kiss Xeno. Wait did he have a crush on the beauxbaton boy? He did.
Charles smiled toward him as be spoke" that was nice, your a good kisser Xe," looking at him and feeling his heart beat quicken as he then remembered Cassie and the rather obnoxious red head were still present and he would lean closer to Xeno, whispering " walk back to our cabins, Xeno?"
Smiling to the boy before grabbing a bag or crips and cookies along with his fizzing pop as he got up and went back toward his seat. Next to Cassie with Scarlett on the other side of his friend. But his eyes remained on Xeno and his thoughts again in Xeno hoping he would get another chance to kiss the boy.
The blonde would playfully throw the cookies at Cassie before opening the bag of salt and vinegar crisps as spoke" I'm definitely teaching you Spanish or another language now so we can mess with others more," smiling toward his beauxbatons friend as he took a handful of crisps before titling the bag toward Cassie offering her some silently with his eyes glued onto Xeno and a smile on his lips.
Charles turned and gave Cassie a grin to her remarks on not expecting the kiss and shipping him with the boy who he had a crush on and he spoke" his name is Xeno and keep it quiet but I have a crush on him," remembering Drew and knowing that the two would always be good and perhaps close friends but now Charles had a proper crush and wouldn't ruin his friendships with.
Charles turned back toward Xeno as he smiled at the boy, barely giving Scarlett a nod about her own crips and he commented" sure, Red," eyes still on Xeno as both Scarlett endured a cheek kiss and Cassie endured a hug? Charles turned back toward Cassie when she joined them again and gave her a grin as he spoke playfully, " really smooth, I didn't know you were a love master," the blonde laughed a bit and popped a few from crisps into his mouth.
" I don't think I could ship that but perhaps I could friend ship it," Charles spoke to Cassie with a smile before his eyes caught Xeno again and his heart pounded. A smile form on his lips toward the boy and Charles leaned close to Cassie as he whispered to the girl, "I think tonight I'm going to tell him and see what he says." Smiling toward Cassie figuring no time better than the present to tell Xeno his feelings but first the game. Round one was done now round two begins.

Spin the Bottle Group 2

Amelie had never been kissed. Not that it was a particularly big deal to the girl, she was neither here nor there when it came to the whole relationship thing. Those her age were usually rude towards her or steered completely clear – whether that was through disinterest or fear depended on the person. Yet despite this, she’d somehow stumbled into playing a game of spin the bottle. How this came to happen, the girl would never be able to say, but certainly wasn’t about to leave when the game was just beginning, being far too stubborn to do such a thing.
As Amelie sat watching the scene before her unfold, saw nervous boys lean in to kiss who the bottle had decided for them, or anxious girls turning the cheeks or opting for a friendly hug instead, she wondered what she’d actually do when her turn came around. She wasn’t overly interested in saving her first kiss, finding the whole notion of your first kiss having to be special an entire scam. Yes, she believed in true love, she’d seen in it her parents, watched as they navigated their lives together entirely entwined. But she wasn’t naïve enough to believe in the fairy-tale behind it. People had to work for love; it had to be earned through compromise and time and effort. And she wasn’t certain she’d ever have the patience or the drive to seek such a connection with someone.
Sure, she was young, and it wasn’t as though many her age were actively seeking the person who they wanted to spent their life with. That would be ridiculous. But even as she grew older, she wasn’t sure she’d ever want to be one half of something, to be an Amelie and someone else. Perhaps her mind would change with time, but even simple attraction didn’t come naturally to the girl. She could admire someone’s looks, appreciate that they were objectively attractive, but as someone who was not typically attractive herself (her scarred face often pushing people away instead of drawing them to her) she found someone’s heart and brain and soul far more attractive. One of the few people she’d ever been attracted to was her older brother’s best friend – and attractive which seemed to grow every time he stood up for her or made her laugh.
Feeling eyes on her, she realised that whilst she’d been debating the laws of attraction and the existence of love, the game had continued, and it was now her turn to spin the bottle. Amelie let out a soft sigh before steeling herself and spinning the bottle. It landed on brunette girl sat across from her. She wasn’t nervous, she told herself, knowing she’d faced far worse than what a game of spin the bottle could throw at her, so she stood up, patting down her clothes as she walked across the circle towards the girl. If the girl stood up to meet her, she would offer a small smile and place a hand delicately on her shoulder.
“I’m Amelie, and this is definitely the weirdest situation I’ve ever had to introduce myself in,” Amelie said with a teasing smile, before leaning forward and placing a soft kiss to the girl’s cheek if she allowed it. When she pulled back, she would nod once, as if to say ‘job well done’ before letting out a soft giggle and walking back to her place in the circle.

Spin the Bottle Group 2

If you had asked Calypso two days ago what she'd be doing now, 'at a camp spin thebottle session' was about the last thing she would have said. How exactly had she ended up here, anyway? Good question. When a cabin mate hadtold her about the event, they had sort of mumbled, and Calypso only caught the part about being allowed to hug the person instead. So she had got it into her head that this was some sort of free hugs meeting. What better way to spread the love?
When she had discovered what the activity actually was, she almost left just then and there. The girl considered this sort of thing ridiculous and, to be honest, kinda disgusting. Also very unhygienic. And kissing someone you didn't actually like for a game? Why?Well into her twelfth year, Cal had never actually had a crush before. She didn't evenhave a clue whether she would like girls or boys, nonbinary people, some combination, no one, or everyone. Last year, some of her schoolmates the same age as her had started awkwardly pairing off, and it just seemed so unnatural to her. They were still kids! But she decided to stay despite her disapproval of the game. Maybe she could pass outhugs and brighten someone's day?
When the bottle had spoken, Calypso found herself paired with an Ilvermorny girl a year ahead of her. “I’m Amelie, and this is definitely the weirdest situation I’ve ever had to introduce myself in,” Cal smiled. "Nice to meet you. I'm Calypso, and same. This is kinda awkward." Amelie seemed nice enough, but when she leaned in to give her a quick kiss on the cheek, Cal ducked and wrapped her arms around the girl in a friendly hug.
"Sorry. I'm not a kisser. It would be nice if we could be friends, though."
Amelie nodded, gave a small laugh, and retreated to her seat. Calypso got up and rejoined the circumference of the circle.
