────────────────She had not meant to get roped into playing Spin the Bottle herself. Nope, not at all. Gia had only been intending to watch her best friend figure out what the game actually was, for Gabby hadn't realized that the sole purpose of the game was not the bottle spinning part, it was more the... uh, the kissing part. Or the hugging part. Or the running away part. Just not the bottle spinning part.
So why was she sitting with a group of other people, watching the bottle spin around and around? The Gryffindor honestly had no clue.
Well, okay, she sort of did. After making sure that Gabby had sat down and officially joined the game, Gia had wandered for a little bit before deciding that everything else was boring without her friends. Somehow, she'd eventually ended up sitting down in one of the many groups playing the game, and, well, here she was now. Regretting her decision? Definitely. Still, Gia supposed it might be a little bit interesting...
Two other people had already spun the bottle that was in the center of the circle, and both had given a kiss of some sort. Now, it was Gia's turn. She wasn't quite sure yet what she would do when it landed on someone—it would most likely depend on the person. After a few tense seconds of waiting, it landed on a kind enough looking girl. A stranger, too. Better than getting someone you know and making it awkward, or getting someone you hate, Gia thought.
"Hi." She said with a small wave. Might as well introduce herself too, right? "I'm Gia. Can I..." If the other girl didn't move or protest, Gia would lean over and give her a small kiss on the cheek. No way was she kissing anyone on the lips today—because ew, gross, but she wasn't going to act completely chicken and not do anything or give them a hug.action. giving Rosella a kiss on the cheek

@Evelynn Decipio
Opeila had never felt so much like an idiot. When summer camp had started, the young Slytherin had been enthusiastic, very enthusiastic. So enthusiastic that she had not put her name down for truth or dare, but definitely for the bottle spin game. Truth or dare was too risky for her taste. There were too many people who knew that she was hiding something and joining a game that provided just the perfect opportunity to use that against her would just be the crown on a pile of self-destructiveness.
But joining this game without knowing what it was about also proved to be a stupid decision. Apparently they would spin bottles to kiss people. Who suggested that? Also what was the point of that game? Getting the highest possible amount of germs and bacteria? Disgusting. But here she was and people had already started spinning the bottles. Too late to run now.
Honestly, the worst rhing was that both Hanako and Percival were in this group. Her ex-boyfriend and the boy who destroyed their relationship. Wasn't it perfect...
Nervously she waited, stared at the spinning bottle until it suddenly pointed at her. The young girl looked up at the person who had spun it. A Gryffindor game who Opeila knew, not too closely but she didn't connect negative feelings with her. Someone she briefly smiled at when she recognized her in the corridors.
A little unsure she hesitated. Would Evelynn run away? While Opeila was not keen on being kissed, she wouldn't be running away from the Gryffindor either, instead she opened her arms to hug her if she wanted.

Mentions Interactions None @Gia AdelardKey: English| Russian| FrenchAllowing Gia to kiss her on the cheek/kissing Gia on cheekRosella had spoken to very few of the Hogwarts students, even when she was at Hogwarts earlier in the school year. How she ended up sitting in a circle playing spin the bottle with a group of mostly students she assumed were from Hogwarts, she had no idea, but here she was. Glancing around the circle, the girl was unable to identify anyone from the group that she already knew. Guess this was her chance to meet some new people in one of the strangest ways possible.
Glancing around, Rosella wondered how nervous some of the other students were as she watched the game begin. The first few students she watched carefully before it was finally the third persons turn. Glancing over, the girl's eyes slightly widened as she realized that the bottle had landed on her. Watching the girl carefully, Rosella waited to see what the girl would do, smiling softly as she introduced herself.
"I'm Rosella," she introduced herself back softly and gave a nod of her head as she leaned in to kiss her on the cheek. This could have been a lot more awkward. After receiving a kiss on the cheek, she leaned to return the kiss on the cheek if able.

Spin the Bottle Group 3
Percival was not too sure why he had agreed to go through such a thing. Sitting around in a circle he waited for his own turn to spin the bottle around. It was all arbitrary. To go about kissing each other because a bottle told them to. Though, there was the option to not kiss and to just simply hug the person. To back down from such a small meaningless thing like that. It wasn’t like there would be any strings attached. A small kiss and then nothing more. It would be quite stupid if someone were to think otherwise. With any luck, he wouldn't have to worry about some girl catching feelings.| Outfit |
The boy grabbed the bottle before spinning it as quickly as possible. He watched as the bottle twirled across. So quick at first, though slowing down just as quickly. Suspension pulled at his heart. Making it feel as if it were in his throat rather than his chest. His eyes widened ever so slightly as he watched the bottle land on a boy with long dark hair. Percival walked over to the other as he mulled over what to do. He didn't want to back down despite him landing on a guy, and besides it wasn't as if the other was ugly looking.
"You don't mind, do you?" he asked as he leaned in a smirk growing across his facial features.

@Percival Rainwood
Nate wanted to give Hogwarts another chance at this summer camp, after much deliberation he had persuaded himself to take part in the little games. He had to struggle with himself, after all he didn't want to be poisoned again but he just decided to be careful with the drinks and the food but so far everything was going well. After all, he was Nate Smirnov and wouldn't just flinch, just as he wouldn't flinch from a kiss today, which is why he was now sitting in a large circle, a bottle in the middle.
It didn't take long until the first couples had found each other, the first kisses, hugs and fleeting glances were exchanged. But at some point the bottle landed on him, of course, that was somehow the aim of the whole game. But to his surprise, it was a boy. He hadn't thought that far ahead until that moment and at the same time he felt stupid, of course it could happen and he looked uncertainly at the boy in the black turtleneck jumper. Would he be averse, look at Nate with scum or even run away from him? He had never thought about kissing a boy until this moment.
However, he didn't have to think about it for long to come to the conclusion that there would be nothing wrong with it. He had never really been attracted to a boy, but there weren't many girls he was particularly attracted to either. Nate had grown up in an extremely tolerant family and didn't think for a moment that there was anything wrong with kissing another boy, plus he wasn't bad looking and it was only a kiss. Who knows, maybe he would discover a new side of himself?
He made the decision for himself that he wouldn't shy away from a kiss if his partner wouldn't either. But it wasn't long before his partner was standing in front of him and it was clear that he wasn't going to back down either. Nate approached him, liking his confident manner and grinned back, "Not at all." He laughed somewhat guardedly and accepted the kiss from the unknown boy.

INTERACTIONS @Opeila Winters ──── MENTIONS @Nicholas McCowan, a few others
A two for two. First truth or dare, now spin the bottle. This time, at least, she hadn't really gone out of her way to join this game. There had simply been a circle of students interacting nearby. Evelynn had been minding her own business, mulling over a handful of letters, when it had started.
The first bit of it had gone unnoticed. The first few who'd spun and acted upon their outcomes. Now and then, Evelynn had glanced up with wry amusement to see one or another cross in front of her and plant a kiss on the cheek of another student, or to wrap someone in a hug. Distracted as she was, two and two had not made four. Not until someone had prodded her in the shoulder and she'd suddenly found a bottle placed into her hand with looks of expectation peering back at her. It had only been then that realization had dawned that she'd unwittingly found herself gradually brought into a growing circle that had adopted the blood pumping game. And she was expected to play.
"Very well, then," she acquiesced after a moment of thought.
Why not? A quick glance around the circle had yielded a few familiar faces. Among those: McCowan, Adelard, Drakos, Seilun (Winters), Martin and Rainwood. Many of the others were either students who would soon be attending Hogwarts, or were perhaps among those visiting with the other foreign institutions. She held no particular strife with any of them. And, actually, the fact that she'd landed herself in another game with McCowan amused her slightly. Plus, Drakos always seemed to attract an unusual amount of trouble for himself. This could even prove to be a more entertaining time than what she'd previously intended to occupy her attention.
With precision, Evelynn folded the letters and slipped them away out of sight into the book bag that rested nearby. Taking up the bottle, she had reached forward, leaning upon one hand to give it a spin before retreating backwards to watch as it gradually came to a stop. Upon Seilun. A safe outcome, all things considered. Glancing up, however, Evelynn caught a glimpse of what might have been hesitation in the eyes of the other girl? For a moment, confusion creased her brow—was there something between them to which Evelynn wasn't privy? It was no secret the seeker had experienced her fair share of conflict with a number of Slytherin students. Perhaps there had been rumors spread among the House?
Whatever it was, however, it seemed to pass quickly enough. Shortly after, the girl opened her arms as though to invite a hug. Now it was Evelynn's turn to hesitate. The two weren't entirely strangers, but neither were they particularly familiar. What was worse, Evelynn still resented the circumstances under which Seilun had been inclined to offer help. How was it that the memory of Persephone blimin' Barret managed to sour Evelynn's mood even now, on a day where the sun shone brightly and a cool breeze offered respite from an otherwise enjoyable heat?
Internally sighing, Evelynn pushed herself up to her feet with as much grace as she was able and closed the distance with unhurried steps. "We got off rather lucky, didn't we?" She offered light-heartedly. Her hands hooked under Seilun's arms to rest against the back of her shoulders. A quick hug, then release. Polite. Brief.

As if being stuffed in a cabin with a bunch of other kids wasn't awkward enough, Lamont had landed himself in a game that was very misleading by name. Spin the bottle, right? That's all that should be required of you, but nooooo. They had to add icky romance, disgusting. Do you want to get mono? Because this is how you get mono. There was no way in the deepest pits of hell that Lamont would let some s'more-covered lipped, sappy kid try to land a kiss on his cheek. Or worse, his lips. No sir, not unless that kid wanted a fist straight to the kisser. He tried to escape his personal seventh circle of hell, but it was too late to escape the fate he signed up for against his better judgement.
He begrudgingly sat himself down in the grass, nervously tugging the strings of his pastel yellow sweatshirt as he glanced around the circle. There were faces he recognised, but mostly he was surrounded by strangers who would hopefully forget how flushed his cheeks were and how he swore those closest to him could hear his heart thump against his ribcage, resounding in his head like a torturous echo chamber. At least he didn't have to be the first to embarrass himself, right? A girl sitting across from him took the first spin, she didn't seem as nervous as the others that sat around in the circle. Maybe she didn't know what would lie on the other end of the bottle, an innocence that would quickly fleet the moment the bottle came to a halt. The pounding in his ears would stop for a moment as his heart skipped a few beats, watching the bottle spin with such intent that it made the boy a wee bit nauseous.
As if the bottle had heard his inner monologue praying to whoever would listen that it would land on some other poor fool, it cruelly came to a slow spin and finally pointed in Lamont's direction. He felt the blood drain from his face, his jaw would've hit the ground if it wasn't locked together in protest. Was it too late to walk away and nurse his wounded pride? He found himself frozen in place, his body rigid and unwilling to move. Lamont was brought out of his internal battle with his thoughts when the girl spoke up, perhaps just as nervous as he felt at this moment.
A handshake? That he could manage. They could even have a wee bit of fun with it to make up for the cliche smooch that would've been in its place. "Oh thank god, yes. May we switch it up a bit?" He took her hand in his, giving it a firm business-like shake before a cheshire grin replaced the nervous lip-biting that drew a metallic taste in his mouth. He pulled his hand away, only to curl it in a fist and gently bumped it against the girl's, hoping she would catch on and mimic the elaborate handshake he crafted as he went along.

Winnie to her left and Hanako to her right both recognized. One from over the summer and the other because their name resided on the duelling waitlist. She would smile back to Winnie just before Hanako pushed her forward to accept her fate. A push she surely would have needed and if luckily recognized that it was all in good fun.Open to Interactions
As it would seem, fate was on her side, which seemed to happen more often than not somehow, as Lamont accepted her proposal of a handshake expressing out loud the relief she felt when he did so. Santario grasped his hand in the same manner. Firm and business like her father had taught her that your handshake spoke more than you did. “Sure, but I’ve never…” Santario observed his hand carefully as he pulled it away, forming it into a fist. She did the same and met him halfway, making sure to mimic the hand movements as he carried forward.
She would smile with laughter that rang out like a bell. When they were finished, she grinned at him. “Thank you very much, it was perfect.” Santario would reclaim her seat between Winnie and Hanako. If everyone was that cordial with her, the night would go on just fine, and she could stay and watch the people hug and kiss each other. The public displays of affection did not bother her. She just preferred that they were not forced on her either, but it was the name of the game and she was sure at some point someone was going to try.
Santario looked over to Winnie after she was done kissing some kid on the cheek. "How was the rest of your summer?" They had spent one afternoon together in her grandparents' bookshop and San had not walked away from the girl hating her so she figured now as ever was a good time to strike up a conversation.

Moderation Post - Round 2
This group of students seemed to be having fun for the most part - or was it just awkward? At what point, was it awkward? Does calling it that make it that? Though, with their cheek kisses and their handshakes, maybe it was not awkward!
Niklaus Turgenev had another opportunity to ask the same question as he spun the bottle, watching it stop as it pointed towards Viola Rhea Tempete, who might want to make the game more fun!
Opeila Winters was already awkward being in the same group as her ex and the boy who destroyed their relationship... but luckily (or unluckily?!) for her, it rolled on someone completely different. The bottle spun, almost landing on Percival before it continued last second to stop on Winnie Harper. Maybe Winnie would prefer another cheek kiss?
Percival Rainwood appeared to be havig a great time, it seemed, kissing everyone. This time, he had the opportunity to kiss Opeila's last partner, Evelynn Decipio. Would she reciprocate?
Hanako Tone had the opportunity to spin the bottle and offer kid#2 whose face he might forget a choice (oh how sweet!). The uhhh lucky kid#2 was Aurora Ranvier, who might decide that he was the person she was saving her first kiss for!
When Santario Martin spun the bottle, it landed on Gia Adelard, they both had a choice to make. Perhaps another handshake was in order or would a cheek kiss be better this time? Maybe a hug? Maybe more? Gasp, only time would tell.
Nate Smirnow had accepted a kiss earlier. Would he give one to the next target? Or perhaps Nicholas McCowan would prefer another hug this time?
Levi Drakos had given his last target the best hug of their life, apparently! Would his new one be offered the same or would they go further? He watched the bottle stop on... Santario's former target?! That was kind of awkward. Lamont Runesby, firm business handshake again? Time to discuss stocks and shares? Sign a business contract?

@Nicholas McCowan
First kiss, next round. After Nate had accepted the kiss, he winked at the boy one last time before concentrating on the game again. Nate had never kissed a boy before and even though it was different at first, it wasn't negative. Kind of not a big deal, which didn't make the next round any scarier when the bottle he was spinning came to a stop and pointed at a boy.
But would this one also accept a kiss from a boy? Just because Nate and his kissing partner from the first round didn't show any shyness, it didn't mean that the others did. Honestly, most were more reluctant, refusing the action or dodging out for a hug. Nate wasn't the type to get emotionally worked up, which was probably why he had no problem kissing others in this game, after all, he knew what was coming, the less he could understand why so many here were visibly uncomfortable.
But he didn't want to judge too soon, after all, it could also be that arch enemies or even ex-boy- or girlfriends were sitting here and he should rather concentrate on himself. He rose from his seat and went to his next destination. If he remembered correctly it was someone who turned down a kiss in the first round and dodged out for a hug, but Nate would be okay with that too.
"Ever had a kiss from an American-Russian guy?" Nate joked with a raised eyebrow, "But I think you're more into hugs." He remarked further, trying not to panic the boy unnecessarily. He leaned a little closer to whisper something to him, "Or should I run away?" he offered him another option and looked at him expectantly, waiting for a reaction and answer.
Action: Offering A Kiss, a hug or to run away
