Picture Prefect Powwow Closed

The castle was falling apart. Fort Rose was dying, and there was nothing the queen and king of the fort could do. Eris wasn't sad about it though, as she watched with an assumed expression as their fort melted at their feet. It was a shame though, that the two of them couldn't build another fort. The snow was melting too fast for that, although Ezekiel was okay. Maybe they could do something else fun. They could build a fort somewhere else in Hogwarts. It didn't have to be a snow fort.

Eris grinned at Ezekiel, happy that he was okay and not hurt from his fall into the damp snow that used to be their castle. Slightly confused to what Ezekiel had muttered, Eris raised an eyebrow. What had he said? Deciding she didn't care, Eris's smile widened. "We could do anything! Maybe we can build a fort inside! Or something like that."

Nothing would be as good as fort rose, but another fort would be fun. Eris hadn't expected to find a friend to build a snow fort with her, but being around Ezekiel was a lot of fun. She didn't really care what they did, as long as Ezekiel still was there to do something with her. Eris wanted to keep talking to the other boy. Loneliness was no fun, even if you made the best fort of all.

"Well whats something you want to do? I really don't wanna go back to the common yet,
it'll be crowded with all the others coming back in after being out in the snow for so long. And more forts? It'll be Fort Rose 2.0! Bigger and better than before!" He laughed softly, Eris was having a good time he was guessing, so why could he has well. He held out his hand to Eris, wanting her to join him in whatever adventure they planned. "We have the whole school to build a fort in.
There have to be enough pillows hidden around somewhere right?"

Ezekiel was still soaked, and some of the water was starting to freeze to his body. Suddennly... Very, very cold. He thought to himself, hoping they would go inside soon so he could defrost. "Name somewhere to go Eris and we will go there." He said with a smile on his face. He was happy to go with her where she wanted, except maybe the commons, mostly because neither of them could get into the others. But there was the prefect room, but he doubted they would go there either. If they really wanted they could go to off to Hogsmeade too.

Eris grinned, jumping up and down with excitement and partly because it was helping to warm herself against the frigid chill of the outdoors. Still hopping up and down, trying to warm herself up, she stopped hopping as Ezekiel offered his hand out. Er, what did she do? She had never had somebody offer her a hand for no reason before? Um. Shake it maybe? Eris awkwardly shook Ezekiel's hand with a quizzical expression on her face , wondering why he had wanted to do that. They were already friends, so why did he want to shake hands? Shaking her head in confusion, and partly to rid the clumps of snow that had somehow gotten into her hair, Eris let her hand drop.

She refused to stay confused for long, grin returning to her face, as they discussed the many things they could do with their day. The options were limitless in a school as large as Hogwarts. Eris wanted to go inside though. Maybe they could really take over the school, start a fort in one of the hallways or something. The idea of that made Eris's grin even bolder, as she considered other things to do.

"We could go exploring and find a room to build a fort in! Or we can stay outside, but I mean, it's really cold." Eris said, with a laugh and an apologetic shrug. Ezekiel was probably colder than her, having fallen into the snow. Getting inside would be a pretty good idea.

Ezekiel looked at her confused as she shook his hand, but shrugged it off. Maybe wizards don't hold hands? He thought to himself, lowering his hand to his side. He looked up at her as she spoke. His face a turned a deeper shade of red than it had been before from the cold. He felt, strange. Warmth even though his was freezing on the outside. "Let's find somewhere to build a fort then Queen Eris!" He called out with a laugh. Some skin tone returned to his face, but it was slow going.

He started back towards the castle, hopinh Eris would follow after him. He didn't know why, but he seemed to like being around her more as the day went along. More things to write home about and question he guessed. He turned back to Eris. "I doubt they'll let us build in any of the main halls, maybe on of the corridors by Gryffindor commons?" He asked, his voice slowly becoming hoarse from the days activities. He was honestly exhuasted, and building this fort was likely to be the last thing he did before heading back to catch up on his sleep. At least, until astronomy rolled around, forcing him to wake up once more.

Eris smiled too, rubbing at her cold face with freezing cold hands. It was getting late. Fairly soon it would be time for dinner, and the two of them would have to stop their game. But until then, they could figure out somewhere to build a fort. Eris had to admit she was having fun. She hadn't really hung out with any Sytherins before, besides Ava Silver, but the two of them hadn't talked in a while. Ava was busy with the newspaper, and Eris was busy with prefect duties. But somehow, the prefect of Gryffindor and the Prefect of Sytherin were on the Grounds together, playing Queen and King.

Eris yawned, listening to Ez. "Maybe..maybe, we could both eat dinner then take naps before Astrom-whatever it's called. ?" Eris still wanted to hang out with the raven-haired boy, so she smiled at him sleepily, "And then we can meet up tomorrow to find a place for a fort inside of the castle?"

It seemed like a good plan. That way both of them got a good amount of sleep, and still had a time set up to hang out another day. Excitement coursing through her at the idea of sleeping, and also at the idea of seeing Ezekiel again, Eris's smile turned into a grin that faded away when she let out a loud yawn.

Ezekiel smiled softly, trying to stay warm. "Sounds like a lot of fun Eris. And yeah, it's Astronomy." He stuck his tongue out at the firey hair girl. "Sleep and classes, so much fun right." He was excited to build another fort, somewhere he wasn't going to fall into the snow and freeze to death. Well... Maybe not to death, but really cold. "King Ezekiel and Queen Eris, protectors of the grounds, and soon, protectors of the halls!" He broke into laughter. "We need to get inside,
make sure all the other students are heading to dinner now huh."

He didn't want to leave yet, he wanted to make more forts, but the snow was melting and the sun was setting, marking the end of the escapades of Ms. Fawley and Mr. Wasek. But they would be back, this time somewhere warmer. "Come on Eris, let's get going. We still have places to look for students before heading to dinner, and being late doesn't sound like fun." He started off to the castle, stopping and waiting for Eris so they could walk back together. This was fun. He thought. "All this extra stuff is so stressful, this was a nice break into everything we have going on."
