Flower Crown Making
A barrage of hufflepuffs were the first to come to the hastily made stand. A girl came up, and then went away for a while, probably to make sure the other students didn't see her handiwork. Then the blonde hufflepuff came back, skipping around with a crown on her head. Too flustered, and too busy watching the other students that had popped up to explain that one must set the flower crown down for judging, Sorrel turned away from the celebrating hufflepuff and looked down at the students crowded around her table. A ravenclaw greeted her, and the professor nodded her head in hello, before looking at the other children.
A girl smiling like a madman was making a flower crown, that truly had a children's sense of style. A mess of flowers everywhere, although it still looked lovely. The girl's smile was contagious enough that Sorrel smiled, too. A Gryffindor girl, who Sorrel recognized as an avid herbology student, was working on her crown. She paused to smile at the professor, and Sorrel smiled back. She also set the crown on her head, and Sorrel was able to see a beautiful gradient of blue flowers.
Two more girls appeared, each making a lovely flower crown, and in the end the gryffindor called out finished. Sorrel grinned, amused by the girl's enthusiasm, and leaned across the table to look at the finished flower crown.
"Good Work!" Sorrel congratulated, studying the crown. Just as she finished looking at the crown, a timid looking boy stuttered a question. Sorrel turned to look at the boy, wondering if he was okay. There had been quite a pause between all his words. There were three floers on the crown, holding up all the space. "It's lovely." Sorrel said to the boy, smile still on her face.
More and more children showed up, placing their crowns on their heads. All in all, it seemed that everybody was having fun. Even the shy professor of herbology was smiling, and talking a lot more than usual with her students.
A first year girl came up to the table and used accio, to Sorrel's horror. How on earth did a first year know that spell? Who had taught her? Clearly, she didn't know it that well, as the scissors flew around. With a click of her tongue, Sorrel called over the screams of the girls who the scissor had almost touched. "Don't use spells you can't handle, please." Her voice dripped with disapproval, as she studied the young Gryffindor.
The next few moments were spent in silence, then the girl said she was done. Sorrel pointed to the place were finished flower crowns would go for judging, and looked at the other children. She didn't care to chide the girl again, nor did she want to talk to the little Gryffindor. There were other students to watch out for.
Like the Gryffindor Prefect, who had made a lovely crown of her own. Sorrel smiled encouragingly at the red-head, who had just declared she was done. "Looks amazing." She said, still smiling. Although she was getting quite bored of the children and their flower crowns. Clearly they were all just super talented 11 year old artists.
The boredom faded away, as one of her more advanced first year students fashioned a 'K' out of flowers. He then presented the professor with a flower crown of her own, to the shock of Sorrel.
"Not that I have the power to do so but I know dub you Professor Wright, Queen of Herbology! I hope you like it" Sorrel set the crown down on her mass of curls, smiling at the little Sytherin boy. Luckily, she did remember his name. "Thank you, Kyden. Both crowns are lovely!"
Feeling more into the festivities, with her own flower crown on her head, Sorrel looked up from the table of students in muted shock as another professor joined the fray of smaller students. The sight was amusing. A tall man, in the midst of millions of little children. Although, Sorrel had to wonder why on earth the man was with them. Sebastian right? He was a friend of Rosemary's, and had been mentioned in conversation. Once. At least Sorrel thought he had been mentioned, she really don't remember.
She smiled back at her fellow professor, amidst the sea of first years. "Welcome to the gathering! We are, indeed, making flower crowns." Sorrel pointed to the flower crown, on her head, than sat it down on the table with the other student's finished crowns. It was hurting her head, but she would most likely put it back on later.
More children joined the ever growing crowd, a few staring at Sebastian. The hufflepuff prefect, was among them, as she cast glances at the Professor ever so often. Her face looked a little pink. More children finished their crowns, and set them down. The pile of crowns was growing by the moment, and Sorrel couldn't of been more delighted.
"I'm adjusting." Sorrel said in response to the question asked by her collage, not wanting to admit how insane the children drove her sometimes, in front of said children. Once Sebastian finished with his crown, Sorrel also let out a laugh. It looked way worse than anything the other children made. Flower crown making was definitely not one of the Spaniard's talents.
She blinked once in surprise, as he slid the flower crown onto her head, and spoke a word in Spanish. It was obvious it meant flower, even without Sorrel's knowledge of the language so similar to Portuguese. Sorrel's face flushed in embarrassment , as she adjusted the crown on her head. If only she hadn't taken off Kyden's crown! Her Spanish wasn't perfect, but the woman had made an effort to learn it, as many of the students in her Brazilian school had been exchange students from Mexico and Spain, and to converse with them, Sorrel had to learn the language. Not that it was hard to learn, as it was quite similar to Portuguese, being a Latin Language. "¿Coqueteando? ¿delante de los niños? Te creí mejor que esto, Sebastian." the woman chided, her face still bright red, as the ravenclaw prefect said she was done.
"Put it down with the others," Sorrel said, flustered, as she pointed to the pile of flower crowns. "It looks good, Bloom." That was her name right? A Sytherin girl said she was done, and Sorrel simply pointed to the pile again. The hufflepuff prefect said she was done, but didn't seem to be sure, turning to talk to her friend. So Sorrel didn't say anything. And a Gryffindor boy was laughing like a manic. Gryffindors were weird, that much was certain. Where was his house prefect, to stop his maniacal laughing?
Sorrel turned back to her fellow professor, awaiting his response, even though she would of rather ran away from the conversation screaming.

Flower Crown Making
The Italian woman had heard a little about the newest event of the School. The BlossomFest. It was a singular event that would be going on until the end of May. In that sense, Rosemary would have to adjust to the festive atmosphere. Last month was hard on her. Unfortunately, the woman was not sleeping again. Not since the unfortunate event of last month. In the other hand, after her burst out in the Headmaster's Office, Rosemary has been worried. She could see, interpret the gravity of the situation, but was helpless. The only thing she could do was to find a potion recipe that would protect the ground. An Environment potion. Otherwise, she was useless. Mostly because of her state, but also because she was not the best with defensive charms and general spells. She had a talent with Potions. They were substances that she could, somehow, feel.
The professor of Potion sighed and looked around her. She has been grading student's assignment since the morning. It was a tiring activity. A small light was entering the dungeon room, making it more lively. As much as a dungeon could be. The woman had stayed there all day and totally needed a change of scenery. The Italian woman got up from the bench, she sat on and walked over to a glass standing on the wall. Her hair was a mess, she also had dark circle under her eyes. She looked, miserable. Rosemary slowly replaced her hair, thinking about ways to make her day better. Perhaps going out of her dungeon would make her experience something different?
After what mostly took fifteen minutes, she was ready to go or at least, she was more presentable. Nothing could be done with her face. She would have to look like the tired woman she was. Rosemary slowly walked toward the exit. Ready to face the world. While walking toward the festival's activities, the professor of Potion could smell food, flowers, and water. The river was sparkling and lifeful. It was a beautiful scenery that made her pause in her walking. She enjoyed the sun ray on her face, but also the feeling of this season. Somehow, she was at peace at this moment. Unlike the enraged sea, she has been in the Headmaster's Office, she was now a calm and flat river.
The woman smiled and looked around her. Flower. It was the flower crown activity. She hurried to the location and found her friend, Sorrel, the professor of Herbology. She decided to walk toward her until she saw the professor of History. Both of them did not really know each other. She had barely spoken with any of the professors yet. In that sense, she went to stand beside Sorrel and smiled a little.
- Professor Cazarez. She greeted him politely.
- Hello Sorrel, I hope you are having a great day? I can see students are making you beautiful flower crown. Urg, not including this one though.
She frowned, her eyebrow while taking the specific crown in her small and bony hand. It was not horrible but was not the best. She returned her attention to her friend which face was flushed. What could have possibly happened before she arrived? Has this man caused her any distress? She turned her cold eyes toward the man and tried to get a better understanding of him. Somehow, she felt something strange.

Flower Crown Making
It was amusing to the Spaniard to see he flustered the Herbology teacher a bit. He had no real intention to flirt as much as he had. It was something that just... it came naturally for Sebastián. When Sorrel called Professor Cazarez out on it he laughed out loud in response, saying nothing. Internally he was impressed by her but also a tad embarrassed by his actions. A saving grace to him was the great Rosemary Ethel came to say hello. Though the two had also not talked much since she took over the potions position, he admired her from afar. Potions class was something he had hoped was open when he became a teacher. At first, when he discovered someone else took the role he was downtrodden and nearly withdrew his application. History of Magic was by no means his preferred subject, but someone had to save the children from that horrifyingly boring ghost.
Why was her arrival a saving grace? It distracted from himself having to answer Sorrel right away and she did not seem to see the incident. Though he still would have to explain himself as they began to stare at him. There was no escape for the Professor as he looked between the two. Professor Wright was certainly beautiful, but he had not intended to truly make a pass. It took only an awkward moment or two for him to finally speak up in response to Professor Wright.
"Oh, nothing was meant by it," he teased quietly, a snicker escaping from him as he tried to regain his cool. "Yes, quite a horrid creation... how embarrassing for the creator."
He gave a slight wink to Sorrel who would know full well it was his. It was tough to turn his attention towards Rosemary. Ever since her arrival there had been... something he liked about her. She showed up to the flower stand looking like she was wrestling death himself. Yet he admired her for it. A hardworking woman that was passionate? Yet could come out and enjoy the fiesta? Sebastián knew there was someone he could respect. Not to mention she took the job he wanted. After a moment he realized he was probably staring at her while he thought about her. He had not even said hello yet.
"Professor Ethel... uh, yes," he said, this time he was the flustered one. "Glad you could join us. Escaping from the dungeons for a break?"
Sebastián Cazarez never had trouble speaking to girls as a child, as an adult, or anywhere in the middle. Even when he had no intention to be a flirt, he often was just that. Friends would tease him for it. Some would fall for him because of it. His confidence faltered for nobody. Rosemary Ethel certainly wasn't a nobody, but he faltered. She made his confidence dry up like a Spanish River in the summertime. What could possibly be wrong with Sebastián that would cause such a reaction? He wanted to impress her but all he could do was flounder for words.
I do hope she did not see my attempt to greet miss Wright. She looks beautiful today. Why am I struggling here? Come on Sebas!

Flower Crown Making
Festivals were not Leonie's thing. She didn't go to them, she didn't participate in them, and she definitely didn't help host them. Apparently, that was going to change during her employment at Hogwarts, because she was positioned at the BlossomFest for water activities. Seriously, water activities? Hopefully her event would be later on in May, and not in April. The Great Lake was still freezing cold, and she doubted it would attract any attention. Of course, she wasn't quite looking forward to spending her time looking after a bunch of, for lack of a better word, children.
If she had a choice, she would stay in her office until the festival passed. But, nevertheless, she had lessons and now responsibilities regarding the festival. And as the representative of Slytherin, it would be good for her to be out with the students and various other professors. Besides, if Sergei was there, could it be all too bad?
Over the years, she has gotten to know her former Transfiguration professor far more than she had hoped to initially. He had saved her life from an Obscurial, and she had been a bug to him ever since, she was sure. It was something she had gotten used to, and by now he should have gotten used to it too. It had been almost four years after all. It was weird to be in the same place as him again, considering she was always far too busy with the Ministry to put aside time to do normal things, like planning with people. Not to mention, he had been relatively hard to contact, for various reasons.
The Spring sunshine was warm, especially considering Leonie's wardrobe consisted only of black. That was probably a downfall for her, but she had a better variety at her home, anyways. She decided against taking everything to Hogwarts with her. It was something she should have considered more though, because this black turtleneck underneath her usual black cloak was not helping her any. Her long blonde hair was a contrast though, proving to almost be white in colour. It was one trait that was passed down from her mother that she loved - one she would never give up.
Finding the Blossom Festival wasn't hard, but rather on the contrary. The large tents and crowds of people made it rather obvious as to where it was at. What she was going to do there was unknown to her. She walked through the various things to do, but eventually came across a table filled with flowers. Her eyebrows furrowed together, a slight pout etched on her face. Her gaze flickered to the sign - Flower Crown Making. How was any of this supposed to benefit the students' knowledge? She had no idea.
There were a few professors standing around the table - Herbology, Potions, History of Magic - none of which Leonie had ever taken the time to socialize with. She saw a few recognizable faces from her lessons, but other than that, no one she would usually be found speaking with. She eyed the flowers again, then looked away. Ridiculous. Sure, this gave a chance for students to be creative and to have fun, but this wasn't beneficial, nor productive, at all. It almost irritated the woman.

Flower Crown Making
Rosemarie couldn’t keep her delight in. She squealed. It was unbecoming for a Slytherin, but she she still loved pink and girlie things. Her friends looked mortified at having to make flower crowns, but the girls in other houses, and some of the other Slytherin girls, looked as excited as Rosemarie felt.
Rosemarie selected several pink daisies, soft pink carnations and pink roses. She trimmed some wire, measuring it to her head in a circle and took her supplies over to a free table. Her friends weren’t participating but Rosemarie ignored them. She wound the flowers around the vine, alternating between carnation, rose, carnation, rose, daisy. She tucked one daisy behind her ear.
When her crown was finished she wore it proudly. Scarlett would’ve loved this, but she’d gone to Australia and Rosemarie had been left alone. Rosemarie’s lip curled at the thought of her.
Reluctantly, she took her flower crown off and tied a scrap of parchment around it with her name and house written on it in black ink.
Seeing that the event wasn’t over yet, Rosemarie put her crown back on, tucking the label under the wire so it wouldn’t be seen. Someone had tried to use a spell Rosemarie hadn’t even heard of and for a moment there was a pair of scissors flying around. Rosemarie briefly wished she could charm them to Australia and set them after Scarlett, but the flowers around her head smelled too beautiful for bad moods to linger long.

Flower Crown Making
Even the ever-flustered Sorrel Wright had to admit the situation was getting awkwarder and awkwarder by the moment. Feeling like a small girl again, Sorrel struggled against her urge to run away screaming, from the man in front of her, who was notorious for flirting with, just about anyone. She just hadn't thought he would flirt with her. Sebastian had laughed at her comment, although he clearly had nothing else to say. Or was struggling to pick something to say. Feeling smug at the man's rare silence, Sorrel felt a little less flustered. Although still embarrassed, Sorrel's expression perked up as a familiar Italian woman arrived at the booth.
Flustered expression fading from her face, Sorrel let out a brilliant grin at the sign of her friend. She hadn't seen Rosemary in a long time, both woman being busy with their respective subject. Rosemary G. Ethel had been the first friend Sorrel had made in a long time, and even though Sorrel and Rosemary hadn't talked in a while, Sorrel still felt a rush of excitement at seeing her. It had been way too long since they last talked.
"Hello Rosemary! All the students are making lovely flower crowns. The professors, not so much." Sorrel said with a laugh, even though her face was still pink. Setting the flower crown that Sebastian had put on her head unceremoniously, Sorrel slipped on the eloquently made one, that a small Sytherin boy had handed it. It was much more aesthetically pleasing, and it was given by an innocent child. Not a strange professor.
It seemed that Sebastian was flustered, as he attempted conversation with Rosemary. It was Sorrel's turn to laugh merrily, unable to pass up the opportunity to get back at the History Professor for his earlier teasing. "You seem quite tongue tied Professor Cazarez." Sorrel commented, wondering what was going on between her friend and Sebastian to make him so awkward and flustered around her. Both of them were unlike Sorrel, who got flustered at a moment's notice, so from what Sorrel knew, it was truly rare for Sebastian Cazarez to flounder for words, like he seemed to be doing now.
Gaze trailing away from the other professors, Sorrel spotted yet another Professor in the midst of children. She looked to be frowning in distaste, but Sorrel felt an odd rush of emotions while staring at the woman. She was undeniably beautiful, even with a scar marring one half of her face. When she turned away, Sorrel couldn't help but frown in disappointment, wanting the beautiful woman to come closer to her booth. The newcomer was the new professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, after Mellowrose had been fired. She was much more of a teacher than Mellowrose had been, and already students were complaining about the strange Professor Scheinberg and how strict she was.
Some phantom force guided Sorrel away from her friend, and her station of flower making. Gathering her green skirts up in her hands, an outfit worn just for the occasion of the BlossomFest. Some may of called Sorrel's walking to Leonie destiny, or flirtation, but honestly, it was just the allure of a beautiful woman with a strange scar that made Sorrel leave her booth to go walk over to the woman.
She wasn't flustered like usual, as she approached her fellow Professor and smiled, heart racing in her chest. She managed to sound friendly, and even though the faint blush on her face deepened, Sorrel talked in a normal tone. "Not one for flower crowns, are you?" The blush on Sorrel's tan skin was almost impossible to see, but she stayed calm, watching the woman for a moment, before turning back to the group of children. She may of left them to go talk to Leonie, but that didn't mean she could ignore the children completely.

Flower Crown Making
It was the time of year when the BlossomFest became the main attraction of Hogwarts. During her years at Hogwarts, they had never done something so elaborate as this. It had only happened years later. If she were young, she were to enjoy such an event. But now, Maya was not excited to take part in something that was a full week of events; especially since she had to take charge of one of them.
Just like every professor, they were to make an appearance in the games during every mini-event. Today's event was flower crown making. While a part of Maya was excited to make flower crown making as it was very cultural to do so, she did not want to show her excitement. She was content of showing no emotion to others. She thought it a weakness to show others how she truly felt. It was something she was taught when training in the army.
Making her way to the grounds, she eyed a few professors that were already socializing with one another. While there was the History of Magic professor, Sebastian Cezarez, and the Herbology professor, Sorrel Wright, Maya's eyes focused on the potions professor, Rosemary Ethel. Maya and Rosemary had a past; a very deep past that was years under the rug. Being a new addition to the staff, Maya did not have the entire academic year to ease her way back into conversing with Rosemary. She wondered when she would forgive her from all those years ago.
"Professors," she greeted them, with a professional tone.
Tearing her eyes away from Rosemary, Maya went to look at the flower crowns that the kids had made. Some were beautiful while others needed a bit of work. If it was her, she would have had someone like Bloom Silverton redo hers. But of course, this was not her mini-event. She walked up to Cezarez and gave a small smirk. The man did not know how to filter himself-- especially in front of the children.
"Cezarez, you should have been in charge of sports for the BlossomFest as it seems that you're a professional in sporting women," she said as she grabbed a red flower from the stack on the table. She knew that her words were not ones to sting the man, but perhaps make him think of his actions. She had never seen him talk to woman normally. Perhaps that was his own insecurities the way she had many of her own.

Flower Crown Making
There was an event being held at Hogwarts that year by the name of BlossomFest. The name in itself got Amelia excited, thinking of all the potential activities in store for the school. It was a brand new tradition, one the first year couldn’t wait to Owl her parents about. She had heard there’d be a Great Maze, something she was quite looking forward to. Any challenge of knowledge or skill, Amelia was going to be there. That’s what she was doing at the moment, as well, as she made her way down to the Grounds for her first interest.
Flower Crown Making was being hosted outside the castle, something the eleven year old had never done. After hearing about the stand, the Ravenclaw pondered as to why she’d never thought of the idea. The thought of flower crowns seemed royal, beautiful and fun. Excitement ran through her veins as Amelia searched around the Grounds, wading through other activities to find the one she was looking for. A longer wooden table caught her gaze rather quickly, as did the pink cherry blossoms that adorned the front of it. It was her coincidently her favorite flower.
Trying not to seem too ecstatic, the brunette picked up her pace and approached one side of the table, finally looking up to see that her Herbology teacher—one of her favorite subjects—would be leading the group. Ms. Wright magically made wires and flowers and things of the like appear in front of them and Amelia’s excitement raised to levels she wasn’t aware were possible. She loved this school with all her heart, it never really failed to provide what she wanted.
Looking down at the variety on the table while still listening to the professor on how to make it, her dark brown eyes trailed over the many options. When the professor suggested first years not use the Diffindo spell, which Amelia was relatively confident about, she resisted the urge to pout. Grabbing a pair of scissors that had flown at them precariously, the pureblood wrapped the floral wire around her head to fit it to the right size. Once she was satisfied, the Lovell girl cut the wire where she should’ve as carefully as she could. Great things took time, and she’d probably be making her flower crown longer than most, making sure it was perfect.
Staring around the table, she felt slightly intimidated by all the choices. Where should she start? This was her first time making a flower crown, no matter how obvious some steps were. Glancing around at the other students, she noticed a few familiar faces—who she waved and smiled at for a moment each—and some complete strangers. It baffled her that there were still students she didn’t know, and what also surprised her was how well some of their flower crowns were turning out and how far ahead some students already were. Her gaze shifted towards her flower crown in front of her and was more determined than ever to win this competition.
Grabbing a large deep purple, almost black dahlia, she decided this would be the eye-candy to her flower crown. Thinking about candy made the aroma of food wandering around the Grounds more apparent to the Lovell girl, and her stomach growled as she attached the wire to what was left of the stem of the flower, than looping it onto the wire she had originally cut for her head, she placed it directly in the center. Scanning the set of flowers on the table again, a dainty hand reached for a bundle of small, white chrysanthemums. She spaced them out an inch or so from each other around the entire main wire. She remembered chrysanthemums sometimes stood for joy, and it brought her back to her parents garden back home on her estate.
Her mother was quite the fan of gardening, which had sparked Amelia’s love of the outdoors and everything it had to offer. At the age of ten, Amelia had been allowed to start her own mini garden outside of her mothers, which she tended to and cared for as often as her mother did hers. She loved it with all of her heart, and knew quite a lot about different flowers and their meanings from her readings and what her mother had told her throughout her childhood. A soft smile laced her lips together as she continued grabbing for another flower with that thought in mind. Grabbing a bundle about the same size as the prior flower, she grasped the small pile of yellow roses. These stood for friendship, and she thought it offset her other two colors well. Intertwining these in between the white flowers, she hummed quietly to herself absentmindedly. It was something she did when under great concentration.
An earthy, lemony smell was coming from her bouquet she had made into a crown and the first year decided it was time for some greenery. Going for a tendril of a darker green vine, she wrapped it around the wire to cover it’s silvery-looking tone. It was not too thin and not too thick, a relatively perfect way to balance out the size of the flowers. Finding no need to get too intricate, and not wanting to ruin the already nice-looking flower crown she had made, Amelia decided against adding extra grass, random leaves or twigs.
Finally looking up at the professor, the Lovell girl spoke up. “I’ve finished over here, Ms. Wright!” She raised a pale hand and gave the professor a toothy grin. She then noticed she had been joined by quite a few professors in the area, and headed over to the designated area made to place their crowns for judging. Looking at her finished work, she was happy to have made something with her own two hands with such thoughtfulness. Even if it didn’t win—no matter how bad she wanted to—at least she could wear it for a special occasion, or show her parents proudly back at home.

Flower Crown Making
Awkward. A strange word that meant a lot. It was the proper one to explain the current situation. The professor of potion was able to feel it in the atmosphere surrounding the three of them. However, Rosemary smiled and meet the eyes of Sorrel with her own. The woman had not really changed since their last encounter. This familiarity was making her feel lighter somehow. After all that had happened recently, it was a nice way to relax. Therefore, since both of them were not alone, she could not speak truth to her. It was a shame. Rosemary had so much to say to the professor of Herbology. At least, she could try to fix an appointment with her in the next few days. It was at the exact moment that Sebastian decided to engage a conversation with her. Strange, uncommon. Both of them had never really had interaction together, but the man seems uncomfortable. What she that terrible looking? Perhaps staying inside the dungeon would have been a better option for her. After all, she had some eccentric comportment too. Her eyes wandered to the professor of History. She decided to answer him in a polite and detached tone. They had no specific relation and she had trouble to find the perfect or at least, neutral courses of action to engage herself in.
- Yes, as much as I love the dungeon, sometimes, it can become oppressing.
A lugubrious location it was. Even if it was her haven, her hidden place, her home. Due to her condition, the woman never really appreciated being too close to individuals. It was similar to a golden prison. She had no choice but to hide. Her condition was not really accepted. Rosemary concentrated again and turned her attention to her friend, Sorrel. The subject has returned to the horrified flower crown.
- I can see that dear friend. Oh, that one was made by a professor?
The professor of history has chosen this exact time to make comments about the flower crown that was currently in Rosemary's bony hand. She carefully passes one of her fingers with her black nail on it and smiled a little more. It all made sense now. This specific horrible flower crown has been made by the man who was standing with them both. Rosemary was not the smartest, but she could at least see that.
- Well, in all honesty, professor Cazarez, I am glad that you did not make the ''flower crown making'' your career.
She looked at him and smirked. It was at that moment that Galim appears in her peripheral vision. Immediately, Rosemary feature completely changed. Her face returned to her neutral one and she politely greeted the professor of Muggle studies. They had a dark past and she was not ready yet to step back into it. She did not necessarily hate the woman. They had been friends for so long, but the circumstances were just making it hard for her to accept it.
- Hello professor Galim.
Uncomfortable and filled with unpleasant surprises. It was how Rosemary would currently describe the day. However, she had not expected to be left alone with the professor of history. Sorrel had left to join another professor and Galim has just passed her way. Even if it was awkward, both of them spoke a little before she retired to her dungeon.
- Well, I will be going now, I guess we will see each other again in the Castle. I hope you have a good rest of the day, professor.

Flower Crown Making
"Dear God..."
The morning light shone all too bright into Anatole's eyes, a sharp stinging kicking in like caffeine. He was constantly half-asleep, daydreaming about all that could come next in his days here. Constantly, he was lamenting over how the snow had melted off the grass and there was much less...joy in the air.
Joy had a specific fragrance to him, like a perfume Patricia would bring in from an expensive store down the road for the sole purpose of exciting the boy. It smelled of zinnias and snapdragons, pleasant aromas of floral arrangements he could inhale only at a certain time: Spring.
Then, it came to him. Yes, the snow had melted and the weather was now so warm he no longer needed his winter coat and scarf, but that brought upon the next season: Spring.
As Anatole peered out the window, he noticed something odd. Tents, set up. Flowers blooming. Professors (that weren't just Sorrel, whoa) outside, conversing. Everyone laughing. Students playing tag. He wished he could just open the windows and jump out into the magnetic satisfaction below him, but reason kicked in. He was human.
Finding a...safer solution, Anatole ran down the stairs, still wearing his cloak but losing the scarf, exposing his tan, bare neck. Like the snow on the ground, his face lit up with happiness. The aroma had returned: joy was in the air.
The young wizard observed the events, noticing the subtle details in it all. No scarves, no coats, no worries. It was picturesque. He shouted at the kids playing tag, telling the girl to run faster so the boy behind her couldn't catch her. They were both wearing adorable flower crowns with pastel colors.
Then, he watched another group. The same flower crowns.
Anatole smiled at them, wanting one of his own. It was called a crown, anyways. A symbol of power, of grace, of elegance. Another possible step to becoming a prince.
Out of his peripheral vision, the Gryffindor caught sight of a wooden sign leaning against a table, covered in vines and tables. For some reason, there weren't as many people as he had thought there would be. Sorrel was in the front, moving the sign.
Anatole dashed toward it, sweat dripping down from his face. "Wait! Don't leave, I want to make one!" He clutched his robes, making sure he wouldn't trip and stain the garments. "Wait!"
Breathless, he reached the table, greeting everyone there with a simple "Hi! Am I late...?"
Then, his eyes wandered toward the materials. They weren't as beautiful as up close: all the earlier kids had left were thorny stems, knotted twigs and wilted flowers. He sighed, reaching out and beginning to work, looking back and forth at everyone else's designs to hopefully guide him.
After about fifteen minutes of hard work at the table, completely ignoring the Professors to the side, Anatole held up his curling, dusty, wrecked creation. Somehow, it gave him pride. "Finished!"
