A Close Reunion

Lovanna had always had trouble finding a place her friends had suggested for a catch up, but Lovanna's best friend, Selina Knight always gave clear instructions.
"Uh, where is Selina?" Lovanna said angrily to herself for not finding the place to have a catch up with Selina.
Then Lovanna saw a girl sitting at Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour and knew instantly that it was Selina. Lovanna walked slowly towards the girl thinking that maybe it wasn't Selina, but by the outfit it was something Selina would wear.
Lovanna knew Selina's taste in clothes and would not wear joggers and a baggy t-shirt, to Selina that would be against the rules of outfits.
"Umm, hello, Selina?" Lovanna said quietly to the girl and hoped that it was Selina otherwise she would be super annoyed with herself, for even suggesting it was Selina.
Hoping the girl would turn her head around and see her childhood friend she said confidently,
"Selina is that you? It's me Lovanna."
Why wouldn't the girl turn her head it was that simple? And that is something Selina would do be patient until someone tapped her or something.
Lovanna tapped her gently on the shoulder and waited for her to turn her head.

Selina turned around and saw a familiar girl that was standing there and had tapped her shoulder. Selina leapt up happily and hugged the girl.
"Oh, Lovanna I've missed you so much!" Selina half shouted happily, gesturing the seat that was next to her.
"Come and sit I'll order us ice cream," said Selina licking her lips hopefully, and wondered if Lovanna was going to sit down.
"How've you been going? I've been waiting for you to be here for so long, not to get here but to see you again," Selina said quickly, "I haven't seen you in such a long time. How's your family? Seen your dad lately?" Selina than thought that she was being a bit too quick with everything that had happened with Lovanna's dad.
Selina had only met Lovanna's dad once. He was a strict man but always thought about what he wanted and not Lovanna's needs.
But she was off at her wizarding school, Selina had never heard about Lovanna's wizarding school and hadn't put much thought to it but always hoped that things would be better for Lovanna.
Her dad never had thought about Lovanna the same way Selina had.
"Sit down, oh, I've missed you." Selina said again.

"Selina!" Lovanna said thrilled to see Selina as she hugged Selina tightly. Lovanna sat down on the chair Selina had gestured to her.
"No I haven't seen dad lately," Lovanna said quietly and sadly, Lovanna had never seen her father since she was 10 a year after he left her.
"Oh, I've missed you so much!" Lovanna said hugging Selina tightly again, "I've been doing ok, just a bit worried about mum. She's been a bit ill lately."
"Anyway, away from me how've you been doing I've missed you so much. Sorry I haven't been able to reply to your owls, the owl you sent flew away as I read your letter and my dad took my owl."
Lovanna wanted to steer the situation away from herself and hear everything that had been going on with her, Lovanna didn't like being the center of attention.
But one thing was clear. Lovanna cared deeply about Selina, but one thing Selina didn't know was that Lovanna had a crush on her. But the young teenager didn't know herself if she even had a crush on Selina. But they had been friends for such a long time, but they didn't know about their secret relationship. They had dated in the past, but Lovanna's father had drove them away from each other.
"What ice cream do you want?" asked Lovanna curiously.

"I'm really sorry you don't see your dad anymore, but hopefully we can have a catch up." Selina said sadly grasping Lovanna's hand and squeezing it. The important question of love almost reached her lips, but she chickened out when the 'will you' came.
"Can I have the raspberry flavoured soft ice cream please?" asked Selina, "why are you asking me I'm paying. Remember when we used to have arguments of who was paying so we just split the price and payed half each?" Selina finished happily thinking about the funny memories.
The memories were slightly sad as Lovanna and Selina had dated in the past but of course Lovanna's father hated it, but we never really ended it. Selina was sure Lovanna thought the same.
Selina held Lovanna's hand and held it tightly, and asked Lovanna, "Remember when we used to date?".
Selina hoped this wasn't too personal or uncomfortable for Lovanna as they hadn't spoken in years.
"I'm sorry if this is too personal, it's just we never really broke up sorry if this is uncomfortable for you. It's just I still love you." wow the words that reached her lips and she waited anxiously for Lovanna's reply. Unless Lovanna stomped off angrily because of what Selina had said.

Lovanna's heart leapt and as if skipped a few beats. Lovanna had been too scared to ask if they were still together, of course that was exactly what she meant right? But it was brilliant that Selina still loved Lovanna as Lovanna never got over Selina and always had feelings for her and no one else.
"Oh, my gosh I was too scared to ask you, but I'd love to go on a date with you?" Lovanna couldn't control herself she loved Selina so much, but never thought about asking Selina out again. But she did, she had the confidence to ask her out again. Her father had thrown her off asking her out again, but she was more than happy to tell her mother the brilliant news.
"I can't wait to tell mum, she'll be so happy for me she's been so ill lately she even almost had to go to hospital because of it. It's been a hard time looking after her, but weirdly I had an older sister that I never knew about so she's been helping me look after mum." Lovanna said deep in her thoughts almost falling off her chair, she even forgot that Selina was there.
"So, Selina Pendrast-Knight will you go on a date with me?" Lovanna asked confidently.

"Lovanna Slovan de Sau, I'd love to. Meet me at the Leaky Cauldron in half and hour, but first let's get and ICE CREAM!" Selina half shouted half talked.
"Can I order a raspberry flavoured soft ice cream please?" Selina asked politely, "what do you want Lovanna?" I added.
It felt great to be together with Lovanna again, and thought about maybe going to meet her mum again just to see how she was going. Selina was determined to support Lovanna through tough times and to help Lovanna's mum if there was any chance she could.
"Also Lovanna, I would like to visit your mum and see how she's doing. And I understand if you don't want to but I'd like to help her in anyway I can?" Selina said hopeful she could help look after Lovanna's mum.
It was hard to keep a straight face when saying this because Selina was thrilled that she was back together with Lovanna.
Lovanna loved loads of different ice creams, but Selina decided to ask Lovanna instead of just ordering her something like both of their fathers did.
"I love you Lovanna, I'm so glad that we're together again I missed you so much!" Selina said.

"Can I have, umm, two scoops ice-cream? Or do you want me to have something else I don't mind?" asked Lovanna kindly to Selina. It was a lie of course the didn't want to have something else, truthfully she wanted to try every different flavour there was. Lovanna was an ice cream fan and nothing would get Lovanna to hate ice cream it was impossible. Unless, she tried a really disgusting flavour, but she never would come across a terrible flavour at Florean Fortescue's Parlour the ice creams were delicious she had, had one before but her father then forbidded her to eat ice cream. But she never saw her father anymore, even though she missed him, he was obsessed with Lovanna wearing make-up, what outfit she wore, who she talked to, and he was controlling what Lovanna ate as well, so Lovanna never got a decent meal. But now that her father wasn't controlling her she could eat what she wanted, but she mostly eats fruit and vegetables and chocolate and ice cream for a treat.
"Also yeah I'll meet you at the Leaky Cauldron in half and hour, I want to get changed into something else for our date." Lovanna said looking down at her outfit. But then their ice creams came and they began eating them as fast as they could.

"I think your outfit's great, but mine is a bit, well not good for a date. But I'll meet you there." Selina said disgustingly as she had ice cream in her mouth and realise that it was very impolite.
"Is your ice cream good?" asked Selina kindly, to Lovanna who was still looking at her outfit in disgust. But Selina was very fond of Lovanna's outfit, but would never wear it herself as she thought she had better outfits herself.
"Well Lovanna, I'll see you in a bit," Selina said getting up off her chair and saying
goodbye and walking away. But she forgot a few important things to say and do to Lovanna.
"Sorry Lovanna, forgot." she said and kissed Lovanna gently on the forehead and hugged her tightly around the chest.
Then Selina thought it would be polite to wait for Lovanna to finish her ice cream.
"I'll wait for you to finish your ice cream," Selina said, siting back in her seat. "No rush." she added hopefully Lovanna didn't feel rushed as there was no rush, just eating our ice creams and then heading to get changed. Selina and Lovanna both had booked a separate room at The Leaky Cauldron as they both had had a long drive down from where they lived.

"Sorry I'm taking so long." Lovanna said eating her ice cream as quick as she could, cough...cough.
"I think your outfit's perfect mine on the other hand, nope!" Lovanna said looking at Selina's outfit, they always liked each other's outfits, but there own wasn't very good in their own opinion.
Lovanna was still munching down her ice cream hoping she wasn't taking too long as Selina might really want to get out of there.
"My ice cream's great thanks." Lovanna said pulling out her money before Selina could and paying the parlour.
Lovanna just finished her ice cream.
"Thanks so much for everything, I can't wait to go on our date." Lovanna whispered hoping nobody else was here.
Lovanna knew she had had a crush on a boy in the Hogwarts, Slytherin House by the name of, Henry Knight. But Lovanna knew this because Selina always sent her owls just to make sure that she was ok, and ask what was going on with Lovanna and sometimes tell her what was going on in her own life.
Lovanna had only ever owled Selina as the owl either flew away when she had read the letter but her father had taken her own owl.
"We better go." Lovanna announced. And Lovanna headed towards the Leaky Cauldron.

"Yeah better be off, I just want to sit here a minute let my ice cream go down." Selina said hastily. Of course this was a lie, Selina was terrified of going on a date with Lovanna she hadn't been on a date in years.
"How am I going to do this?" Selina whispered to herself frustrated but scared.
She needed and outfit, a great hairstyle, a place to have the date, and millions of other things, Selina was terrible at organising things. But she'd try her best even if it was an epic fail.
"Oh, no I'll have to get changed organise everything. And everyone knows I'm terrible at organising stuff, important stuff. Remember when I planned my own birthday?" Selina whispered to herself and remembered.
Selina had made herself her own cake, planned everything, sent out the invites. But nobody came, sadly she set the wrong date and wrote it out as a wedding and put the place in England. It wasn't the best birthday.
And the last time she went on a date, the boy she was dating ditched her in the middle of the date.
She got up from her seat and walked towards the Leaky Cauldron.
