Lavinia was almost halfway through camp and had some mixed feelings about it. There were some fun activities and events that she went to but, not everything was perfect. Then again it couldn’t be perfect, because that’s just a word. There was going to be flaws and unhappy events, all that she could hope for is that she would not be there when they took place. Today wasn’t one of those days though, she had signed up for a game of truth and dare which allowed her to leave the rainbow barf cabin. Yes, she liked the people there and the sleeping quarters weren’t bad but the theme of rainbows got old after about 5 seconds. It was too bright in her eyes and that’s why she was trying to leave it as much as she could.
Truth or dare wasn’t a game that she had played many times before but was excited to try it again. Normally she would be worried going into something like this but not this time, she was just ready to play a fun game without worrying about danger. Arriving at the grounds he was happy to see it all set up with plenty of snacks to go around. She was wearing her cabin t-shirt that had her name on the back and was in a shade of sapphire blue. The unicorn on the front was alright because she couldn’t see it and it wasn’t rainbow colored. After this summer she would never see rainbows the same way.
Lavinia was a little hungry and thought that it might be best to make some friends by offering food so she grabbed one of the picnic baskets that was laying around. Walking to her group she was ecstatic to see Bloom there. They had talked about camp on the express home and they were unfortunately not placed in the same cabin. Coming up to Bloom, she didn’t want to intrude on the conversation so waited for a good moment to say hi. “Hi Bloom! It’s great to see you here!”
Stepping a few feet away, Lavinia wrote down her name and TRUTH and then placed it into the purple flamed goblet. In return she got a card that said, Glen Pope - Dare. How was she, master of hiding in her room going to think of a dare for someone to do. That was going to be the second challenge after finding who Glen was. Hoping that Bloom might know she walked back to her checking ever shirt on the way. Once she checked the guy’s shirt who Bloom was talking to, she found Glen. That wasn’t as hard as she assumed it to be but now was the daunting task of thinking of a dare.
Lavinia was not good at this and honestly had nothing come to mind. The only thing at all that she could think of an athletic dare. No one would want to do that though yet it was only dare she could think of. Turning to Bloom and Glen she smiled as she said, “Glen, is it? I’m Lavinia and I think that I have to give you a dare.” She let out a little laugh as she got to the dare. “I’m not good at this so, sorry if this is weird, it’s the only thing that came to my mind….I dare you to do 30 push-ups.”

This game did not have a way to win, but rather play as you go. Interesting, Bloom thought. She had heard about this game from her older sister, but never had she played it herself. She thought there had been some component of winning, but she guessed wrong. She smiled at Serena as a thank you for answering her question which seemed pointless.
“What do you think is a book title that would describe your life?”
Bloom turned around to see who the voice belonged to that was speaking at her. It was someone younger. Their question was deep, she thought. How would she answer something like this? Would she lie and say something happy or should she be honest? Well... It was TRUTH, and she could only speak the truth if she wanted to play right. Or in some way, competitively.
"I would probably go with... The Lonely Ravenclaw," she said with as much honesty as possible. Bloom was hoping the sequel of the book would be less depressing in the near future. However, from what she had felt the past couple of years, that title summed everything up for her. "I'm Bloom, by the way. I don't think we've ever met. Thanks for a great question," she said.
Her attention went straight to Lavinia who had approached her and Glen, who Bloom was still standing nearby. She gave Lavinia a big hug. She was one of her newest friends that she met on her train ride home along with another girl, Elena.
"It's great to see you, too! And actually, you're my victim for truth!" she said with a bright smile. Bloom gave a half smile, looking up at the sky, thinking of a good question. She could talk about boys, but that was so easy. Even more so, it was a natural conversation for girls to have without the need of a game such as this. She paused her thinking to hear Lavinia give Glen push-ups to do as his dare. Brutal!
When she found a question, she touched Lavinia's shoulder to make sure she got her attention.
"What do you want your greatest accomplishment in life to be?" she asked, trying to go towards positivity. Bloom was more searching for herself in these questions. She, herself, had no ideas how to answer a question like this. Perhaps if others had a hard time, she would feel right in line. But if they had an answer, maybe Bloom can learn from them.

Making her way towards the grounds, Lydia's lips curled upward as her eyes lit up. It was a sunny August day, and while teenagers usually preferred to be as far away as possible from school during Summer, the Hufflepuff girl was actually excited to be back there once again. Being back home hadn't felt "right" lately, just like smiling all the time. Today however was an exception: the weather was nice, and she could spend the day outside, so that required some sort of celebration.
Wearing the pink shirt that had been given to her, with her name and the Hippogriff embroidered on it, a pair of shorts and her black Vans, Lydia reached for a soda before walking closer to the group of people that had already gathered there for the Truth or Dare game. Her cat Mačka had decided to stay back at the cabin, most likely to avoid the hot weather, so the red headed girl arrived at the gathering alone.
Lydia looked around and walked towards the paper and wrote down her name and "truth", before she reached her hand forward and placed the piece of paper inside the cup; she got back another piece of paper, the name Alec Mason - Truth written on it. The name sounded familiar, and it wasn't until she saw the boy that Lydia connected it with his face; he was part of the Gryffindor duelling team, and they had faced each other during the second Stage.
There was another familiar face there, one that Lydia immediately recognised; she hadn't talked with Ruka in a while, most likely because she had spent most of her second year studying in the Hufflepuff Common room. The smile on her face didn't go away as she walked towards the older boy, her eyes only lighting up more at the sight of the cute owl that was sitting on Ruka's shoulder.
"Hey," she said as she waved to everyone, before nodding as an answer to Ruka's question. "Ruka, hi! I think so; but I think not everyone has arrived yet," a small chuckle left her lips once she saw the owl nibble on the boy's ear. "Who's that cute owl?" she added as she tried her best to keep her smile up. Luckily the owl was just too cute, and it made the task incredibly easy.
Once the game had officially started, Lydia looked at Alec and asked him her truth. "So... what is..the last lie you told?" she asked him, not too sure about what to ask. She thought that a general question would be the best way to go, especially at the beginning of the game.
"Everything beautiful is ruined eventually."

It was rare for Hogwarts to have such a lively evening on the castle ground. Honestly, the school seemed more lively than ever. If only it could always be like this, perhaps the shadow monsters would be reluctant to join the party. As Serena introduced her to her rat, she was a bit worried, almost. Based on her knowledge, cat and mouse don’t usually get along. Penelope, Andy’s rat and his dorm mate’s cat are the exceptions, judging from his story back in the Aspirant Animagi meeting. It seemed like Lucifur’s interest in the rat was not exist as he kept on playing around and chasing tiny bugs in the area. Pizza rat. What an adorable name, that chubby creature must love to indulge themself in pizza. Wait, are there Pizza in Hogwarts? “That’s a really cute name. They love to eat pizza?”
Aurora watched the game unfold, one by one, people started to propose their questions and dare from a harmless one to deadly, best book title to thirty pushups. Somehow, it made the uneasiness inside her peeked through. What would the mysterious person ask her to do? Nothing embarrassing, I hope. Aurora had to ask someone a truth question to someone named Lydia Cooper. Was not sure she ever meet a Lydia before, hopefully, she was already there. Time to show off her greatest ability, screaming. “ANYONE HERE WITH THE NAME LYDIA, PLEASE RAISE YOUR HAND!” If there will be anyone who would give her any gesture that indicates that she was the Lydia the young Ravenclaw was talking about, her legs would walk closer to the truth victim at a slow pace.
With great hesitation, on the assumption she might have approached the wrong person. “Hi, a-are you Lydia?” The ginger seemed older, please don’t hex me please don’t hex me. “Sorry if this-uh- a bit personal, but this is the only thing inside my brain right now.” Aurora would look up to face Lydia, searching for any sign of reluctance. “Truth question. If you could do one illegal thing that would change your life or someone else’s for the better or worse without any consequences, what would you do.”

"He is pretty cute! " Serena said proudly, with a firm nod and a massive grin, "Uh well, he was eating pizza the first time I met him! " She explained, giving a short version of the origin of the name. The full story was far more detailed but she figured Aurora was not interested in the entire thing right now.
Following suit with Aurora's scream, she did the same, "KLARA VA- KLARA?" She called out, deciding against screaming a surname that she could not actually pronounce. Because she did not want to pronounce it wrong. When she managed to find the girl she was looking for - whether it was because Klara arrived or because she eventually found her - Serena popped up in front of her. "Hey! Are you Klara?" She held out the piece of paper out that read 'Klara Vasilieva' as though to check if this was actually her.
"So... I have to give you a truth. Hmmm..." She said, pondering for one. It just dawned on her that she probably should have thought of the question beforehand - rather than last minute. But here we were! Serena was not exactly organised, clearly.
Serena tapped her foot, pondering for a few moments. Her nose twitched as she did. Gently patting the rat on her shoulder as she waited, "Okay! Here's my truth. So, what is the accomplishment that you are proudest of?" The Hufflepuff would ask, deciding to ask for a positive truth. Mostly because she did not really know the person and felt like asking something truly personal would be kind of sad.

Interacting with: everyone | mainly @Bloom Silverton, @Serena Towers, @Lavinia Cloven & @Kage SuzukiAs soon as Bloom mentioned that truth was the way to win, he knew she couldn't be too familiar with the game. Her next sentence only proved that right. One, this was not really a competetive game so there was no real winning or loosing and two, if it had been then dare would definitely have been the path to victory.
“I went with Dare. Obviously.”, he answered Bloom with a bright grin and turning to Serena added: “Yeah, I haven't found my person yet either. Do either of you know a, uh, a Kage Suzuki?” He brandished the little piece of paper.
Oooh, nice. His doom on the other hand, did find him. Only it wasn't much of a doom, was it? Push-ups. Glen was slightly disappointed. Sure, 30 pushups were a lot, but it was not exactly an adventurous dare. It wasn't even – well, it wasn't much of anything, really. Still, a dare was a dare. It may be a boring one but he was gonna go through with it, no question. “Push-ups? Alrightie. Will do.”
Glen dropped down immediately to do the set. He mostly fumbled his way through the first two, but then he began to remember how to do them properly and his form smoothed out. Halfway through he would note that 30 didn't seem to be that many after all, even if he was hellishly out of practice and began to falter around the 23rd one. He caught himself though and powered through the rest. (He should go back to doing more sports. When had he stopped with that, anyway?)
A bit awkwardly jumping back up onto his feet, Glen cast another look around to check if he could find his bounty. If he found them, he would walk over, blank for a moment – he probably should've decided on a dare beforehand – and would then blurt out the first thing that came to mind: “Kage Suzuki? Cool. I dare you to speak only in rhymes for the rest of this party!”Action: Doing his dare and then goes looking for Kage Suzuki and poses their dare.Reducio

Always sitting on the side. Never joining in. But no matter the reason, she had been convinced—even if it was just for the split second when she'd signed up—and here she was, walking up to the area her truth or dare group had been placed in.
Many others had already arrived, and a few dares and truths had already been posed. She could see one person already doing his dare, which was only a few pushups. Nothing too bad... but Klara was definitely going to be sticking with truths for this game. At least in the beginning, until she got to know the other's personalities a little bit better because she did not want to be stuck with doing something super embarrassing. She would definitely love to give something like that to another student...
Klara's eyes scanned the crowd in front of her, reading the names on the backs of people's shirts and making note of who they were, who they were talking to. It was always the first thing she did when she arrived at any sort of gathering, and this time was no different. When one girl broke away from the group, Klara noticed immediately—although yes, she was screaming, so it was a little bit hard not to notice. It wasn't the person she'd been tasked with giving a dare to, but she was most definitely coming towards Klara, so...
The girl shoved a piece of paper in the twelve year old's face, asking whether she was Klara. Raising an eyebrow, Klara crossed her arms. "Do you not realize that my name is literally on the back of my shirt?" she asked rather rudely. But honestly, could the girl not read? After a little bit, though, she sighed and added, "Yes, that's me. And yes, I asked for a truth."
While Serena (according to the back of her own shirt) worked on coming up with a truth for her, Klara was busy scanning the crowd for the person she was supposed to give a dare to. Everett Brooks, was it? The first name seemed familiar enough that Klara knew she'd seen him recently—most likely when she had first arrived.
"Okay! Here's my truth. So, what is the accomplishment that you are proudest of?" Came Serena's voice. Klara's sharp blue eyes turned back to the older girl and stayed there as she considered the question. It wasn't a bad truth, she supposed... but what was the thing she was proudest of doing?
"Getting into Koldovstoretz." Ended up being her short but clear answer. And it was true, although it was a bit more complicated than just that. It wasn't the school part she was proud of about at all, honestly. It was more about how her family had reacted. How her father had reacted when he had found out. But a practical stranger didn't need to know all of this, so Klara didn't expand on her answer.
A short silence sat between the two for a few moments, but before the girl from Hogwarts could break it, Klara did so for her. "Everett Brooks. Have you seen him?" Whether it was because of Serena's answer or because she spotted the boy, Klara would eventually leave the Hufflepuff's side and make her way over to Everett, the person she had been told to give a dare to. Walking straight up to him, she didn't introduce herself or even say hello.
"I dare you to crawl around for the rest of the game—no walking." With that, Klara took a step back, crossed her arms, and waited to see if he would accept.action. answering Serena's truth and giving Everett a dare

Group activities were always somewhat uncomfortable to Ruka, particularly if he didn't really know anybody in the group. He'd been doing his best to reach out and connect with more people, but it was exhausting and he didn't feel like he was doing a particularly good job at it.
In that sense, he found himself grateful to see a familiar face; He smiled at Lydia's approach, gave her a short nod in greeting. "Good to see you, Lydia," he said sincerely. It was good. At least he had someone to focus on should thing prove to be a bit much for him. "This is Fuwafuwa," he answered a little shakily. He still had occasional problems pronouncing her name, tended to stick to calling her Fuwa, but it was getting better. "Got her at the start of the summer." Smiling, Ruka reached up to pet Fuwafuwa's feathers, just as the owl decided to take a closer look at Lydia by moving to her shoulder instead of his. If allowed to she would press herself against Lydia's cheek for a snuggle.
There wasn't all that much time for conversation, however, before people were starting to hand out their Truths and Dares, and Ruka was lucky that the girl approaching Lydia was the one he was supposed to be looking for as well. Aurora was mostly unfamiliar to him, stuck in his brain as the girl who had an awkward amount of questions about Animagi and Cannibalism at their League Meeting. The question she asked Lydia was quite personal, and it made him smirk as he waited for her response.
No matter what it was, once Lydia had given it, Ruka turned his attention on the other girl. "I'm supposed to give you a dare... Aurora, right?" he told her, tilting his head to the side. So, maybe he didn't quite understand the concept of Truth or Dare, wasn't really sure if there were supposed to be winners or losers, but he had to assume that the point was making the Truths and Dares that were given out to be as difficult to complete as possible. Aurora seemed like the curious type, and half of this game was about posing questions to people, so... "I dare you... Not to ask any questions for the rest of the game," he decided, raising his eyebrows. Was he allowed to do that? It wasn't an immediate dare and nothing she needed to be particularly daring for, but he hadn't been given any specific rules for what he was allowed to ask for.
At the very least he thought it'd be funny to watch Aurora struggle with posing her Truths in a way that they weren't a question.

Alec Mason was the first to kick off giving a truth to his assignment - Bloom Silverton. He asked what the title of a book on her life would be. Perhaps he didn't expect such a sad answer: The Lonely Ravenclaw. Despite this title, Bloom seemed to be trying her best to socialize tonight! She made her way over to her own assignment: Lavinia Cloven. She asked her fellow Ravenclaw what she wanted her greatest accomplishment in life to be.
Lavinia was assigned to give a dare to Glen Pope and chose a physical activity: thirty push-ups. Glen accepted the challenge and powered through them.
Kage Suzuki, iNPC Amaury Favreau, and iNPC Nate Smirnow failed to post and have been removed from the game.
A yellow-haired boy - yes, a bright, artificial neon yellow - approached the small form of Serena Towers and announced his presence. "Hi Serena, I'm meant to give you a truth. So: what's the best piece of advice you've ever been given? Or maybe if you don't think you've been given good advice: what's the worst?"
Prior to being given this truth, though, Serena posed a truth to Klara Vasilieva: what is her biggest accomplishment? The rather rude girl answered with: getting into Koldovstoretz. Klara soon found her own assignment: Everett Brooks. The Ilvermorny student was dared to walk on his hands and knees through the rest of the game.
Aurora Ranvier had found the person she was assigned to ask a truth of: Lydia Cooper. She asked what illegal thing Lydia would do to help someone. Quite an interesting question she posed - and maybe the last question she would ask this evening. Aurora was soon found by Ruka Burnett-Tân who gave her a dare: no asking questions for the rest of the game. How was she supposed to get any truths out of people this way? Guess we'll find out, if she accepts.
Lydia posed a truth for Alec Mason when she found him: what is the last lie he told? This question has the potential to lead to a very different view of the Gryffindor duellist, if he was honest. Would it be something as simple as lying about being sick to get out of a homework deadline, or something darker?
At this time, a girl with shockingly blue eyes approached Ruka: he was needed back at his cabin, so he exited the game.

Alec had felt somewhat satisfied being able to ask a truth. Something that was destined to keep things for the faint of heart. Of course, destiny always had a way of switching things around. The Lonely Ravenclaw. It left Alec to blink. Alec's summer had no doubt been filled with dread, a lot of terrible things. They'd always felt upside down since December. Still, Alec liked to believe a book of his life would be action-packed and full of adventure. Wit would get the smart ones through it. Bravery would help the child one day become a hero, at least in his own eyes. Things wouldn't be so bad if he got things right with Jackie.
“Er-Alec, my name is Alec. What a thoughtful answer...” Alec's voice trailed off in a ramble of words. One that lasted quite some time, and could be noted were everything in the category of useless. Lots of reassurance her answer was amazing because Alec had been so offset by it. Alec couldn't help but feel kindred to the title in some way even if he wasn't a Ravenclaw. It had been lonely though he'd spent the summer surrounded by family. They were the type of people you just couldn't feel comfortable around. Summer camp, less lonely, a chance to Relax.
When the when situation was dealt with it soon became his turn of the game of truths and dares. He'd kept in mind truths were pesky things when asking his question, and did when wanting the truth, to spice things up. However, ones about lies were never good. Lies always made Alec feel sick. He hated lying to people he cared about, and those were the only ones he had to lie to. Strangers were of no threat to him.
What were his most recent lies? Things he didn't want to think about. Either included the lies about how he felt about his summer for friends that had asked. Honesty was hard. He felt more harm came from the truth there, he felt overbearing if he were to ever attempt to write a letter with how he'd felt over summer at home. He'd let it slip every so often, but he just had to put things away. It transferred to feelings of anger, at himself, and those people. He was mad at people for asking about him and his summer. As if it was their fault for it or maybe making him lie... It was hard to know, he couldn't pinpoint things anymore.
Strong emotions he'd rather sort out on his own. It was hard to speak about things like that even with promises of honesty in that general direction. The only other lie was one of who he'd been writing to over the summer. Alec's grandparents wouldn't have been happy, his dad may have been slightly more lenient. If his mom had been there he would have been in the protection of her. She'd taken a rather unusual kindness to Alec's friend because of old relationships. Her stone heart would beat every once in a while.
Alec stumbled over words of the English language as he made an attempt to put out a proper sentence. “Um, well, uh, okay-” He almost hadn't realized it was scary duel girl talking to him. “I lied to myself when I assured myself this game was going to be a good idea?” The answer came out as a question as if asking for her approval, asking if the girl would go along with that. It felt true, that was good enough. This game may have been a very very bad idea. Alec wondered if it was clear to the girl so may have hit a nerve...
