No, she did not need a nurse, she needed something more akin to an exorcist or an executioner. The former was not readily available so they would have to make do with the later. The protests of his contemporaries would change in tone and in tongue to a rougher series of noises and enunciations he did not readily recognize in English or his native Greek. What did Durmstrang have against him! Marvelous Merlin!
"I don't have the time or the patience for any of you," he verbally griped. Santario would remind their pursuant that they were permitted, no instructed to extract the maddened girl from the ball. Not that the Slytherin's words, the crazy one or the intrusive one, would likely be heeded by the trio of meatheads.
He was not going to stop, if anything he hoped that Miss Martin was delayed by the intrusion of these three. While there was a chivalrous part of him that felt compelled to ensure the girl's safe departure and escort her to the safety of her dorm, this was not an ideal moment for such things. He had been struggling with this decision for months, hopeful as cruel as it was that the girl would have been expelled or killed on her own, a self-solving problem but he was not so fortunate. He was running out of time, he had limited opportunities and the feral girl rarely reared her head outside of large social gathers where she seemed compelled to at the very least arrive. Perhaps a curious, latent portion of her humanity that yearns for people, milestones, or something shiny. Or, a more disturbing option being the concentration of humanity and a want to hunt, a fledgling monster pouncing at shadows.
No, he needed to tarry onward.

He had not one, but two dates despite entering the ball with just one. Mathias Pride was a hot damn ticket, his concave chest lacked the manliness some might be hopeful for but the lanky pre-teen still had growing. The night air was a bit chilly but Winnie and Ruka were sure to keep him warm. He should be thrilled but truthfully he was a bit off-put, control was based on their revulsion and ire as that was the interaction that was anticipated and prepared for. Their concerning lust privatized the engagement to ahem... just the three of him. he was far too young for this but he was also too proud to admit such and there was a huge ego to contend with also.
Not the time to experiment, but pursuing his cousin had become a non-option as he found himself being strong-armed into... well, he was not entirely sure what but he pretended he had a bloody clue. With Winnie rubbing her face on his hand and Ruka hooked on his other arm, this was the strangest restraint/removal from a place he would likely ever experience. "There is plenty of me to do around?" A tone of question in his voice was barely audible as he attempted to choke down his uncertainty. He had a plan, the woods. A site of safety. A site of reactions. Yes, "but the woods have less eyes." He announced loud enough for Drakos to hopefully overhear. Yes, words intended to Levi, his former victim of lust, a previous altercation and remnants of animosity he planned to hone and aim.
He would see a trio of Durmstrangs making noise about Vladimir's cargo. He had missed their match, had he known he would have been star-struck. An avid quidditch fan, it was one of the few sports he could be bothered with. Sadly he lacked the balance to play. There was nothing left for the nearly naked youth to do to draw their attention off his cousin. He had already found himself in the midst of a reckless brawl, been disrobed and played tonsil hockey with a smattering of strangers. He was concerned that whatever Winnie saw in the twins had now been passed onto him.
Eeeww -- is this love?
No, lust. Much safer. Well, he hoped.

actions: drinking the punchIt did surprise him a little to find out that Roberta didn't have that many friends either. Noah always thought that Roberta was one of those people who excelled at most things she did and people used to flock around her and she had loads of friends or something, suppose not. He realised he wasn't exactly as good at understanding people as he thought he was.
Although her relaxed attitude did put him at ease, he was starting to get a little bit worried about the fact that they were meeting after so long and things might get awkward but she was acting completely natural and it made it easier for him to relax too, it felt nice to finally feel so comfortable to be interacting with someone after all these months.
Noah had kept his ears open a bit for news on SCAR, and he knew there wasn't any big news on it recently, he wasn't quite sure what to think of it but he just hoped Roberta wasn't in any trouble here, although that was a bit too optimistic, all things considered. He nodded at her point about it, not really having much to add to the conversation on that front, although he was a bit shocked to realise she was offering him a drink, he didn't see her get the drinks at all, he was suddenly reminded of his thirst as he accepted it.
Although except for SCAR, he didn't particularly keep up with much else. He had heard about the duelling here and there but he hadn't taken an interest in it, it was like quidditch to him at this point, he couldn't care much. He shrugged, "No idea, haven't really kept up with the duels much."
He did wonder if Roberta was a duelist though, she seemed the type, and he could almost imagine being one of the best duelists and being there for the final duel, whenever that was. He wasn't sure but the fact that that was one of the most important things she decided to bring up made him wonder if he was actually right on that guess.
Noah had completely forgotten about his schoolwork for the moment, it took him a second to remember how he was doing on that front, "I think I'm doing alright now. It's kind of on and off, sometimes I get lazy and fall behind, then I struggle to make it back to having all my work done. Right now I'm doing alright, thankfully enough. Appreciate the offer though."
Of course, Noah thought of this as an act of goodwill and was genuinely thankful to her. He didn't even so much think about how it would be quite hard for her to actually tutor him. But maybe it was simply because Noah probably wouldn't have taken the offer anyway, he would obviously have loved to have an excuse to spend more time with her but he also took some amount of pride in getting his work all by himself.
Anyway, his throat was killing him and he saw Roberta giving the drink ago so he decided to take a sip himself.

Though he had followed Ana in an attempt to participate in the Trials, he'd taken too long and missed the cut off. It was too bad, really, they looked like a lot of fun. The winners had been announced as he'd made his way back to the Underworld, having gotten separated from Ana. If she didn't return to the Underworld, he'd move on to the other area to see if she had ended up there.
As he re-entered the area, it seemed that the chaos that had greeted them when they'd first entered was still going on… or perhaps it had gotten worse? He wasn't entirely sure but it appeared Rodion and his date were both on fire…? And Rodion's date was being levitated by a scary looking girl… What on earth…? On top of that, there was the sheet girl who was yelling while being dragged toward the exit by a tall dark and broody looking guy while a couple of other guys were trying to stop it. A pretty girl was saying the Ball organizers asked for her to be removed… had she caused some kind of trouble? She certainly wasn't leaving willingly… was this another strange reaction like the one Ana had earlier? If they were taking her to the nurse, that was a good thing. Why were these other boys trying to stop it?
Luka felt bad for the girl, she seemed very distraught, but it wasn't his school and he didn't feel it right to get involved when he didn't know what had happened. Rodion and Violet, on the other hand… he knew somewhat the circumstances of their fight. He turned his feet in their direction, pulling out his wand as he went. "Extinguo!" He spoke clearly, pointing his wand at his flaming idiot of a classmate.

Moving on to the Underworld was swifter than expected. Nobody was trying to stop them, even if Ruka had expected Kazuo to try and prevent it, judging by the disapproval that had sounded the last time he heard the boy's voice in his head. Jack had still seemed dazed from the happenings and Ruka was hopeful it would remain that way until any potential danger was away from him.
In turn, it was apparently himself clinging to danger, quite literally even as he still had his own arm looped through Matt's in a vice grip. Winnie on the other side seemed equally as attached.
"I'm not sure she'd agree," he pointed out wearily to Matt's assessment that there was enough of him to go around. He may have sounded like he regretted having to share the half naked boy on his arm.
The woods may have had fewer eyes - Or did they? - but Ruka wasn't sure that was what he really wanted. With Winnie's adoration for Matt this strong, and Matt being a shady little weasel, Ruka wasn't sure what exactly to expect from a trip to the woods. Conversation with his brother, Thomas, Evelynn, had given him a vague insight into what was out there, and he wondered...
Something behind them drew his attention, a person he could make out from the corner of his eye, following behind them, not as stealthily as they may have wanted, but Ruka didn't dwell on it for long. As they were moving towards exiting the Ball, his gaze caught on the group he had actually meant to follow. Erin seemed to have gone limp as a rag doll in Vladimir's hold, and a gaggle of foreign boys were crowding them as well as one Santario Martin. At least, it seemed, that Vladimir was almost grossly outnumbered, so whatever he was trying to do he wouldn't be able to do it without company.
Unless, unless...
Now wouldn't a brawl just be the perfect opportunity to slip away?
"Actually," he said pleasantly, turning to face Matt with a smile. There was that boy following them - following Matt? - anyway and what exactly was the difference between him accompanying Matt and Winnie, and someone else doing it? "Maybe I'm a bit of a third wheel after all. I shouldn't disturb you lovebirds." He leaned a little closer, exaggeratedly fluttering his eyelashes at the Slytherin. "But we should get together sometime, cupcake. Just you and I, that is. Have a chat. I'd just love to get to know you better." With that he would loosen his hold on Matt's arm. "I should really check on my brother's ex. People seem to keep crowding her, you'd know all about that, wouldn't you?"
He grinned as he leaned forward to try and press a kiss to Matt's cheek with admittedly more force than necessary. "Anything happens to her, I'll know it was you," he rasped into the other boy's ear, whether he had been allowed to kiss his cheek or not, before pulling away. "Play nice now," he added in a much more pleasant tone before taking a few steps away and further towards the original focus of his attention while staying far enough behind to not directly involve himself in what was happening.
With his left hand wrapped around the hilt of his wand, Ruka prepared himself for the start of a brawl in the making. Surely intervening from a distance if needed was more useful than throwing himself right into unknown danger, right? If he wanted his brother to be more sensible he should really start living by example.

Phyllis Stanwood [@Bridget Collins] | Theo Duncain [@Opeila Winters]
Open to interactions!
"Dude yourself," Karilyna singsonged back at Phyllis, her words accompanied by a sticking out of her tongue and a first-class eyeroll. Her outfit was completely undeserving of a facepalm, after all, and much less critique; it was beautifully simple, and best of all, practical (though of course, she hadn't at all considered this upon fishing around in her trunk for the first article of clothing she came across). For whatever reason, balls like these required movement of sorts: if not dancing, at which she would immediately wrinkle her nose, then running or climbing out of heaps of debris - you know, a typical day in the life of Karilyna. Dresses, skirts, and the like most certainly did not allow for such movement, so it wouldn't have made sense for her to don one, anyway. Besides, following dress code was boring.
She matched Theo's grin as the trio bantered, smile morphing into a smirk as she realized they'd outnumbered Phyllis in opinion. Kind of. Not really. To be fair, Karilyna was the only one poking fun at her friend's costume, but Theo hadn't objected, meaning he didn't disagree. Something like that. Besides, she was totally right; alright, so perhaps a hoodie was an objectively poor choice of attire for a ball, but it wasn't like Phyllis' sheet get-up was much better. "It is a stupid sheet, though," she interjected, "and I wouldn't go so far to call it noble." Honestly, Phyllis' completely handmade outfit was on the impressive side, as was the fact that she'd actually attempted to match the Roman Greek theme. Karilyna had to admit she hadn't even thought of wearing a Greek dress thingy (sorry), but she'd never admit the ingenuity of the whole idea to Phyllis. As far as Karilyna was concerned, Phyllis was wearing a sheet.
Karilyna hopped up and down as Theo attempted to awkwardly adjust for her one-foot-shorter-than-her-friends awesomeness and explain about the whole grabbing-arms thing, extending his hand. Up. Down. Glancing over to Phyllis, she caught Phyllis' idiotic grin, to which she gave another eyeroll, before slipping her tiny hand into Theo's. "'Kay, got it." She'd held hands with friends plenty of times before - for her, it promoted a sense of security, of closeness - so there was little hesitation in her movement. The drastic height difference did put her in a slightly awkward position, but you know, it was inevitable - and besides, it was far less uncomfortable than it would've been to link arms with Theo. In fact, she imagined doing so would have felt akin to hanging off of a monkey bar - yeah, she was just that short.
Six centuries later, they finally entered, sweeping into the ball, and Karilyna finally got her first good look at what exactly was lying quietly in wait. In sum, the place was fairly dark, only softly lit aglow, alive with the haunting strains of classical tunes. Somehow, it was solemn, and yet peaceful, beautiful, and yet strangely dark, both in physical appearance and in mood. And she liked it. Though she'd always been a somewhat vibrant little girl, seemingly all smiles and laughter and sunshine, there spun an aura around her that was decidedly dark. It was hard to place, for sure, but certainly, it was present. The girl fell silent for a moment, somehow pulled to the environment around her.
Anyway. There was plenty to do - namely, nab a drink from the fountains, from which flowed punch of a myriad of colors. Punch was always good - it was sugary, after all - and of course, Karilyna would be far too naïve to suspect anything suspicious, drinks or otherwise. Trailing her friends to the refreshments, she paused, cocking her head as fire was mentioned. "Ooh, is fire a tradition or something?" she mused as her eyes met a thin orange-yellow flame, leaping and dancing in the darkness. If her memory served her correctly, there'd been fires at the 2019 Masque, the only other Hogwarts ball she'd had the opportunity to attend so far, and so the appearance of one now as well seemed to promote fire as a continuity between balls.
Fire was an interesting thing. It was quite pretty, honestly, and she could testify to this - she'd seen enough Incendio-caused fires, being a duellist now. But at the same time, being lit on fire was… yeah no. Not fun. At all. A small chill ran down her spine as she looked on, partially indifferent and yet wanting to put it out; after all, she hated seeing others deeply hurt after what had happened to her parents. There seemed to be relatively little action surrounding the kid on fire, which was surprising, but you know, perhaps Hogwarts' students were so used to seeing such disasters that they'd ignore it, that they wouldn't even lift a finger to help. That was… just sad.
See, Karilyna had absolutely zero doubts about her spellcasting. One could label her prideful, arrogant, stupid, whatever, but there was no denying she was gifted in the art. Surely she could easily put out the fire with a little Extinguo? But maybe later, if things started spiraling out of hand. It seemed callous, but if so many could ignore it, so could she. Besides, she was a girl on a mission - a mission for punch. Shaking the vestiges of her concern aside, she picked up a cup, filling it halfway with brilliantly-colored liquid.
"Okay," she hopped while turning a full 180 degrees to face her friends once more, nearly splashing her punch as she did so. It was a good thing she hadn't filled her cup to the brim. "Sooo what's next? Dancing is a huge no, but, like, I dunno what else there is to do." She didn't at all think her friends were ones for dancing, either, but you know, one could never know for certain. Please, not dancing. Anything but that.

Rodion Makarovich, Luka Volkov (@Kazuo Shimada), @Aurora RanvierWhen Rodion hugged her, Violet leapt back from his flaming arms in fright, but it was already too late. She was now on fire, and the only thing she could do was scream. Or, cast another spell at Rodion while the fire left her green dress (which was now ruined). Violet did not know what choice to pick, so she decided to scream a little bit and let all of her inner anger out first.
While she was on fire, something strange happened. Aurora Ranvier, the girl she met on the Scrimmage a few days or something of the sort before this chaotic ball. At first sight, Violet had not liked the girl. In fact, she had started a relationship of hate with her just because of the game, and Aurora's presence deeply disturbed Violet indeed. But...what had the Slytherin done to deserve to be levitated into the air by Aurora?
''Are you fucking KIDDING me, Ranvier? Whatever have I done to you to deserve...this?!''
Anger was boiling in her vains as Violet was levitating in the air. She afterwards saw a blond guy (Luka) going towards Rodion and casting Extinguo on him while ignoring her. ''Hey, RUSSIAN GUY, help me out instead of helping that IDIOT!''ReducioAction: Screaming at Luka and Aurora

As the fire died down, completely indulged his designer outer, now he was only wearing a black t-shirt with holes and a short. Once stylish now looked jagged and dishevelled, massive gratitude for Miss Carrington comma Violet. Luka, his rival, was kind enough to cast a spell to help with the fire situation. Though, it won't matter that much since the flame decided to not burn him for a long period of time. Ashamed, after receiving such a kind gesture from someone he dislike, Rodion would give him a small smile and turn his gaze back to Violet. On second thought, mediocre was the rating of her physical appearance. Compared to Anastasia? It was like the beautiful sunset sky and earwax. If combined with that barbaric attitude of hers, a mountain troll would be ten times better as a date. And now she was flying, like an angry phoenix but green and not very majestic. Maybe a Canadian goose was the best description that resemblance the Slytherin best. Since she couldn't possibly dodge at this point, perhaps one more spell wouldn't hurt. "Steleus!"
Ranvier. Wait, Ranvier? Who would have thought an incompetent little cockroach would have the French pureblood family name on her. Shocking, really. Judging from her skills and all, Rodion thought she was a muggle-born who just try simple magic for the first time. For some reason, he was disappointed to know the fact that the short girl could be his third cousin his family kept talking about. Though, the urge to get to know his distant relative got in the way of his immediate resentment. Maybe, just maybe, there would be something useful buried deep in her outlandish exterior. “Ranvier?” For once, he ignored the screaming Slytherin hag, “You are a Ranvier?” In disbelief, he looked down to see his probable excessively tiny cousin. “I’m Makarovich, ever heard of that?”

Aaron grinned as her friend laughed, offering her the drinking bowl with blind hands. When Eirian took it, she continued to hold her hands in a bowl shape in anticipation of her drink. She listened as Eirian silently contemplated the options, then bounced excitedly as she heard the slosh of liquid being scooped from a punch bowl.
"Okay, don't spill it by not seeing anything, but here's your drink." When Aaron felt the wine bowl return to her hands, she carefully wrapped her fingers around it and drew it up to her nose. A deep inhale revealed nothing about what the liquid might contain.
She waited until she heard Eirian pour herself a drink, then mirrored a loud cheers in the direction of her friend's voice.
She gulped down half of the punch before opening her eyes to inspect its contents. It looked like regular punch, so typical that she couldn't even place the flavour. It wasn't bad, though. She took another sip before grinning at Eirian.
"And now that we've fueled up, it's time to join the party," she said, turning to scan the crowd, a hand creating a unnecessary visor over her eyes. "See anyone you know? A few of these faces seem familiar, but I could not tell you their names if you paid me."
She finished off her punch with in a violent swig, smacking her lips loudly in satisfaction. She was starting to feel the metaphorical powers of Dionysis enter her pores, encouraging her to pick another punch bowl and go crazy. She eyed them out of the corner of her eye as they glinted mischievously, rubbing her chin as she considered.

After a countless failed magic attempts, hit some strangers and whatnots, finally the magical gene inside her work in the best time possible. Imagine how happy the girl was, seeing the person that was in the top place on the Hogwarts hate list. Honestly, not so much. She thought the thrill of making someone miserable will finally come around once the revenge was made, but it wasn’t there. Despite the hostility between the two girls, the worry of the Slytherin might experience nasty burns haunted her like a ghost with some unfinished business. Until she spitted out a curse word. Not the unforgivable curses, of course. But it was worse in Aurora’s dictionary. Very bad indeed. “PUT YOUR SICKLES INTO THE SWEAR JAR YOU PURPLE PERSON!” The word seemed to come so naturally from Violet’s mouth, meaning she probably said it lots of times on any occasion. If only she applying the swear jar method, just think of the amount of money she would have by the end of the year.
Then someone whispered her last name, presumably, the Russian boy. Though, it wasn’t really a whisper, but seeing how the chaos took most of her attention, it wasn’t loud enough to her preference. “THAT’S MY NAME, WHAT?” Is he deaf or what? Was I not clear enough the first time? “I SAID THAT’S MY NAME! DOES YOUR EAR ONLY ATTACHED TO YOUR HEAD AS A DECORATION?” Maybe that boy wanted to be hexed next. Makarovich. Wasn’t it the Russian family mom kept saying to be nice to? Abruptly stop herself from making the inflamed snake fly, not realising she accidentally dropped her from the air, and looked upward to face the boy. “ARE YOU MY COUSIN!?” Being the only child surrounded by an annoying non magical cousin was lonely and terrible, especially when she couldn’t talk about anything magic related. The idea of having someone her age in the family to talk to about anything was making her eyes glimmered in hope. But right now, she needed to take care of the messed up Slytherin. “Wait here you Macaroni.” An idea to stop the violent villain from burning suddenly shine so bright like a lamp inside her brain. Swiftly rushed to the nearest drinking fountain, took a full cup and would try to drench Violet in it. Hopefully, the liquid will not make her even more flammable than she already was.Outfit
