TRUTH OR DARE TRUTH OR DARE TRUTH OR DARE-

It was one of Cassie Heather's best childhood memories, playing Truth Or Dare. Back at Godric's Hollow, they'd had an entire day for it: Truth Or Dare Thursday. Cassie had once dared Lainey to eat all the sweets in her mum's sweet jar, and she'd thrown up all over the kitchen counter. Good times.

Now, the Beauxbatons girl was back again for another game, and boy was she looking forward to it. Ignoring the food, Cassie ran over to where her group was slowly assembling and bounced from foot to foot in anticipation.

She was wearing her camp t-shirt, which she had loved from the moment she saw it. For one thing, it was the most brilliant shade of green Cassie had ever seen, and for another, it fit like a glove. On the top left was an outline of a thestral, a near-replica of the carving on the Thestral cabin door sewn in black thread, and on the back was her name - which they'd actually gotten right! At her école primaire primary school, the leavers had all been given a t-shirt with their names printed on as a goodbye present. Cassie Heathers's had read Cassie Martin-McGregor. Yeah. This one, on the other hand, was perfect, and Cassie had brought a black Sharpie with her to start defacing it. As she sat waiting for the others, she doodled some childish swirls around the hem.

As soon as Scarlett arrived, Cassie stood and hopped over to her. "Scarlett!!" she grinned. "I hope I get to dare you something." She grabbed her friend's arm. "C'mon, we have to go out our forms in the goblet."

It seemed that, for this round, Cassie was stuck daring someone she didn't know. Which was fine, that was cool. She thought for a long moment, trying to come up with the best dare possible. "I dare you..." she murmured, squinting as she always did when she was thinking. "I dare you... to... to take off your t-shirt and write 'kick here' on the back in Sharpie." She grinned wickedly and held out the pen to the boy. "Nice and big, if you please." Cassie paused. "Oh yeah. And you gotta put it back on afterwards."

“Can someone save me from what I am doing to myself?” she murmured tho no one was around her, as she was getting ready. At least the new dark blue T-shirt pleased her, she loves new clothes and the dragon logo on her shirt was cool. There was no need for her to introduce herself, she just had to turn back to show her name, but she wished that the school also provided her with new jeans so it be complete but there’s no problem with her four months old jeans, she was completely fine with it. Tying up her blonde hair into a neat ponytail, she walked towards the area to join the game.

Grabbing a paper and a quill, she got ready to sign up but stopped to think. Truth or dare? “Inky pinky ponky, Daddy had a donkey, Donkey died, Daddy cried, Inky pinky ponky... Dare” she whispered to herself and threw the paper into the goblet after signing. Now what? There was nothing more important for her than food, she walked towards the picnic basket and dropped her hand inside and took everything that reached her palms and threw back the chocolates and chocolate flavoured things into the basket. With her hands full of crisps, biscuits and candy, she sat down beside a boy from some other school, probably older than her.

“Hello, which school are you from?” she smiled brightly at him as she placed all her snacks in front of her, being tired of greeting she turned around as brushed aside her hair from her back so he could know her name. The blonde got all the snacks she needed for the entire day until the game gets over but What about some drinks? “Excuse me...” she ran to take some handful, of water bottles and soft drinks and breathed heavily from running as she sat down, tho she could see some biscuits in his hands “If you want...” she gestured to the snacks and drinks as she gasped for breath.

Sinking her teeth into the cookies, the blonde dreamily watched a girl daring a boy to take off his shirt and write something, she has no concern about it, her full focus was on her snacks and drinks but she hoped a non cruel person to dare her. Finally, when it was her turn, she sat up straight and said to the Ravenclaw prefect, Dealla Prince... she came to know her name just now, “I’ll go easy on you-” smiling slightly, “I dare you to do.... 40 squats, that’s all”, she would be glad if someone has said that to her, so it probably wouldn’t scare Dealla, it’s quite easy... she’s a Hufflepuff for a reason.

[font=times new roman]T[/font]he t-shirt was one of the most beautiful things she had seen in her life. A bright, retina-burning cerise colour with SCARLETT stitched on the back, she vowed to keep it free of harm or vandalism for the rest of her years on this earth. On the corner was what Scarlett assumed an augurey was - an ostrich-like bird with feathers waving on top of its head. It was slightly disappointing - a badass dragon would've been preferable - but hey, the rest of the shirt was still great. Anything with her name on it had to be great.

Scarlett grabbed some Fanta from the cooler, popping the can open and sipping it steadily. She loved Truth of Dare - at home in Godric's Hollow, the Troop would gather round on Thursday and play the game for hours on end, often with disastrous results. Honestly, most of the Troop always chose dare, so Scarlett was particularly prepared to give someone one. If she had to give someone a truth however, it was probably going to be boring and disappointing, as truths were.

Cassie bounded up to her, grinning. Scarlett returned the grin and sipped her Fanta once more. "Awesome shirt by the way Cass," she remarked. "And same! Wouldn't it be great if we got each other?" The two of them ran to the goblet, Scarlett scrawling the words 'SCARLETT, DARE' on her parchment and putting it in the, admittedly cool, goblet. It spurted out a piece of parchment for her that said 'VIVIAN, DARE'. It wasn't Cassie, but Scarlett would make it work. If anything, it would be funnier seeing this Vivian person squirm under her dare. Cassie took any dare without hesitation - as did she - which was cool, but quite predictable. Maybe 'Vivian' would react differently.

Searching out someone with a Vivian t-shirt, Scarlett located her quite quickly. "Hi," she said. "So I dare you to...talk in an accent for the rest of the game. Any accent, but German, Italian and French are all good options."

Truth or dare was one of those games kids played that was under utilized. Truths were always ‘Who do you like’ or some variant. Dares were always ‘kiss that person’ or ‘do something stupid’. Despite his suspicion that it would go this way, Kazuo signed up in the hopes that he might learn something interesting about his fellow students. Maybe someone would ask some interesting questions or give some interesting dares. As he approached, his gaze settled on the goblet and he smirked a bit at the presentation. A bit ostentatious for a game.

Truth or dare? Which should he choose? His hand hovered over the paper slip as he considered his options. If he knew better who he would be playing the game with, he might be inclined to choose dare but he had a genuine concern that his classmates would devolve into the kinds of dares he wasn’t interested in performing. Truth was the easier choice. Most of the people here wouldn’t know him well enough to ask anything interesting and if they asked something he didn’t want to answer, they also didn’t know him well enough to tell when he was lying. Truth it was.

Name and choice into the cup, then it was time to choose his victim. Santario Martin… that was a surprise. Someone he actually knew of instead of a complete stranger. Though he only knew of her through his investigations into the dueling teams, nothing really personal. He considered what he did know; Slytherin, year ahead of him, pureblood. Not much to go off. She had always given him the impression of someone well put together, in control of herself - at least her presentation of herself. There were plenty of pureblood children who wore the rigid masks of expectation but with Santario, she didn’t strike him as that sort. Her cool demeanour seemed a more natural thing. Still…. What could he ask her that would be worth asking?

His gaze travelled about the small group, looking for his target. When he spotted her beside the drinks, he made his way over, giving her a smile and a slight, respectful bow of his head. “Martin-senpai, it seems I’ve drawn your name. So, a truth. If a genie granted you three wishes, what would you ask for?” He proposed the question with a half-smile, reaching for a bottle of water as he waited for her response.

Cosmo walked with a spring in her step. She had heard people tell her about truth or dare, and the crazy stories filled her with anticipation for the days events. Having never had to think of either a truth or dare before, she spent much of the previous night making mental lists of both questions and the plan was to pick whichever she thought best suited her assigned partner.

People were milling around, talking to one another and Cosmo took in all their different coloured shirts with a grin. Her own was a soft peach, and she pushed her hair back so that people could easily see the unicorn emblazoned on front. Cosmo didn't recognise anyone, so she made a beeline for the flaming goblet, and quickly scrawled her name alongside the word 'dare' before letting it fall into the fire. She was eager to find her target and immediately started scanning peoples shirts for anyone named Scarlett. As she looked her eyes fell on an older girl quietly sipping water who she recognised from around the castle as a Slytherin. When their gaze met both girls smiled and waved, so Cosmo made her way over, glad to see someone else from Hogwarts.

"Hi!" she greeted, reaching into the cooler and bringing out a lemonade. This seemed as good a vantage point to search as any, and maybe the older girl knew who Scarlett was. "My name's Cosmo, I'm Gryffindor, about to be second year! What's your name? Do you know who Scarlett is?" Cosmo had tried to work on her energy levels in a conversation, especially when meeting someone new but often she couldn't help herself. She grinned bashfully, aware that perhaps she was a little over excited.
