The two girls seemed to be talking about the game of Spin the Bottle. While Emile had known what the game was about, he had already made up his mind to hug the person, if they wanted. He felt like his first kiss should be with someone special, not in some silly camp game. One girl, she had said her name was Vivian, seemed very distraught at discovering what the game was about. Emile was quiet as he observed her reaction. He felt like it would be rude to laugh at her facial expression, so he suppressed the humor he found in the situation.

Emile was quickly offered a seat by both girls, one he took but only after he was offered it. He brushed a bit of dirt, that was left over from his tumble on the way there, from his knee. He had no chance to speak as Vivian spoke. She seemed very excited about being there and about meeting someone from France and in general just seemed like a hyper person. Emile sat patiently, letting her get all her questions and queries out before he replied to them.

"Beauxbatons is good. It's a nice school, although a lot of the people there aren't very nice and think very highly of themselves. France is great! Paris is where everyone wants to go, but there are so many other parts of the country that are much prettier.", He paused taking a breath, "The language is pretty easy to learn, English is a hard language to learn. I can teach you a bit of French while we are here if you want! Hogwarts is wonderful! I've been here a few times, for the dances, and I hear about it plenty from my cousin Liz. She is a Slytherin. I am going to attend the BBQ, I am really hungry." He finally answered all her questions. By the time he was done, a small smile had appeared on his face and his posture had relaxed from it's original board-like position. His hands still remained occupied with fidgeting, but that wasn't going to change most likely. It helped him cope with his anxiety.

He looked between the girls but his attention was dragged away by another addition to the sleeping quarters. It was a short boy who had set his stuff down and pulled out a book to read. Emile filed away the boy as a possible ally in the back of his mind. Emile has here to make as many friends as possible. In fact he made it his mission to talk to the boy later. The boy had chosen to read over conversing, which is something Emile had often done himself, so he assumed that the two would get along.

Vivian smiled and nodded as Amelia started to talk, she looked good natured and smiled a lot just like her made the blonde adore her, throwing a gentle smile at her “Nice to meet you too” she responded and kept her ears open as she continued. “Common room?...” her eyes narrowed as she played with her nails as she mused “Yes, there’s a high chance that we met there” Amelia must be right, they both were Hufflepuff after all, smiling brightly, “Well, finally we talked”.

The kissing part definitely frightened her, the blonde didn’t expect this, not even an inch. How in the world would she know that the title ‘Spin the bottle’ involves kiss when she’ve not played it before? But as Amelia assured that they didn’t have to kiss necessarily, it comforted the blonde a little bit, but just a little bit as the blonde is not comfortable with physical touch with ‘somewhat strangers’, so hug was also a problem now, she smiled but it came out glum, “It’s okay, thanks for saying... if not- I wouldn’t be able to prepare for that”, prepare for what? Nothing, literally.

Vivian winced as her new friend enquired her of whether she read the rules, “Ah... no” she shook her head, “I know I was careless but...” tilting her head to one side, “Does hand shake works? Or... anything other than hug or... kiss” her eyebrows lifted as the question was asked, expecting an answer. Who would waste their first kiss on a game? The girl is not going to kiss anyone for sure... no, but... if someone force her, she would... but that’s not going to happen which comforted her a little more.

Before he could sit, Amelia said something that Vivian couldn't make out, the blonde furrowed her brows until she continued. So, it was french word and the Hufflepuff just now learnt two french words from Amelia, she memorised ‘Bonjour’ and ‘mercy’ but she still don’t know the meaning of it. Well, the blonde would have asked them the meaning of it as Emile sat down but Amelia continued her speech making the Hufflepuff forget about the questions she wanted to ask and stared at Amelia with open mouth, dreamily. How could someone speak a lot, so casually? Only time Vivian made a big speech was on the train, last month ago when the psycho(Cassandra Ironwoods) bullied her and her friends. Amelia was quite talkative and Vivian liked to have those kind of people as her friends as she loved to hear long speeches but the drawback is, probably nothing gets inside her head. Her speech involved lots of questions and the blonde was not able to control her chuckle but the BBQ part got inside her head, smiling brightly “Yes, let’s go together!” she replied with a over excited tone.

The blonde placed her hand on her mouth casually trying to hide her grin as Emile started to reply all the questions Amelia asked and the blonde nodded until he completed his speech. Well, now some part about his cousin Liz and his hunger entered her head. As soon as he completed, she smiled brightly at him, a little bit with amusement and a little bit with admiration. He must be brilliant, every thing Amelia said, got inside his head.

Letters would arrive, simple small white envelopes that were sealed with a drop of wax and a singular divot reminiscent of the side of a quill. The letters were for the Ravenclaws housed in this cabin. Identical in raw form, their names written individually on their own personal envelope.

They would be found there first thing in the morning on Aug 8, whoever had dropped them off had done so at an incredibly early hour. If one must know, it was a little after five in the morning. The letters were pushed under the front door and awaited the Ravenclaws when they rose.
The dead have risen and have rushed into the darkened wood. Seek the black raven for he has secrets you might learn on this day.
For those that were aware, that had paid attention over the past year, no several. The message was obvious and clear. For those that had not paid attention, had the good fortune to avoid the drama and mayhem, were simply too new to know the terrors that awaited them in the wizarding world away from the diligent protection of their parents, they would be left with a mystery to solve in a matter of mere hours. Ravenclaws were the sort that always enjoyed a good riddle, a bit of intellectual flair to their otherwise humdrum days. The promise of a mystery, a puzzle, something to solve would be enough to draw them out.

Put an end to one more thorn.

When Vivian inquired if handshakes would be suitable for spin the bottle, Amelia felt a twinge of pity for her. She had obviously not read the rules fully and didn't know what she was getting herself into, "You could always just run away screaming like a madman." She suggested, smiling at Vivian. "Don't worry though," she continued reassuringly, "I'm sure no one will care if you don't hug or kiss. You could either run away or just stand as still as a statue, up to you."

The arrival of Emile and him answering Amelia's slightly long list of questions was hopefully a good enough distraction for Vivian so she didn't have to worry about spin the bottle anymore, at least until the game actually started. Amelia paid full attention to Emile and nodded vigorously as he answered her questions. Amelia gasped when Emile suggested that he could teach her some French, "Really? You'd do that? Awesome! I'm going to be fluent in French at the end of this!" She was most definitely not going to be fluent in French by the end of August, but it certainly didn't hurt to be optimistic. "I definitely do want to go to different places in France, but Paris is my main one. I know it's the capital and everyone wants to go there but for very good reason. There's so many great sites to visit!" She explained enthusiastically.

Amelia smiled when Emile said that he liked Hogwarts, "That's good. It's also good you have a cousin at Hogwarts, so I'm guessing you weren't completely lost the first time you came here. I was so lost for like my first week, I didn't know where anything was and I was half tempted to just give up trying to find my way around and just spend the rest of the year in my common room." She shook her head at the memory, remembering how she was convinced that the castle was playing a prank on her and was changing the corridors just to make her annoyed. She turned to Vivian, "Did you get lost when you first got here?" She asked curiously, "I really hope I wasn't the only one who couldn't find my way around."

Out of the corner of her eye, Amelia noticed a young boy sat on his own reading a book, she didn't know whether he wanted to be left alone or if he was just too shy to come over and say hi. Whatever the reason, Amelia still called over to him, "Hey!" She waved at him to get his attention, "Do you want to come sit with us?" She asked him. If he said no, Amelia would leave him alone and respect his space but she'd be more than willing to talk to him if he came over.

The train ride alone had brought a few aches and pains to the Slytherins back and legs now that they had been outstretched once jumping off the train. To say it was a school that was surrounded magic, you’d think they’d have updated the space and comfortability over the years. Either that, or her lanky, bone-like frame wasn’t suited to the comfort they provided. A groan escaped her lips and an irritated expression landed itself on her face, like always. Why had she agreed to come here again, she didn’t know. Maybe she was being hard on herself, and if she loosened up that tiny little bit, she could probably enjoy what was to come. God only hoped she knew some familiar faces to help start it off on a good note.

As much as Falentra loved summer so that she didn’t have to wear those bland robes throughout the day, or attend classes in which she thought were often morbid, it did come with its downfall. And it was a big one. Summer. Falentra hated it with a passion. The dry air; the humidity. Not to mention the feeling of clothes sticking to you. Or the sun burning on that porcelain skin of hers. It only added to her irritation, and for the poor souls she was to be staying with over the new few weeks, well.. good luck to them.

⠀⠀ By now, the Slytherin had selectively listen to the rules that had been given, knowing full well she wasn’t going to follow them all, but what she did catch onto was a familiar voice coming from behind. She had take a quick look over her shoulder to find no other than the Durmstrang student, Arjan. If she had a choice between the rolling of her eyes or smiling at his cocky, overconfidence approach it would most definitely have been the first, but his charms literally had worked their magic. A laugh would come first and a slight shake of the head would follow before she spoke in her monotone voice. “Hey Arjan. I wasn’t expecting to see you here.” Her voice gradually became a tad higher giving him a more of a welcoming approach. If that wasn’t enough, a smile would have followed anyway and a nod in response was given. “Take it your in the same cabin as me then eh? The Dragon Cabin.. sounds pretty mint doesn’t it?”

An offer of kindness was given from Arjan, one she didn’t so much as expect, though also took as an attempt to be somewhat of a gentleman, maybe? It was thought she didn’t think too much on and had responded with a small scoff. “What do you take me for Arjan? I got this.” She adjusted the bag on her shoulder, struggling slightly.. yes, but she was far too stubborn to ask or accept help from someone.
Arjan was being… especially nice to Falentra. She didn’t know him well enough to judge him confidently, but he gave off the vibe that he wasn’t the friendliest of people, and could be hard work in certain situations, especially with that massive ego that weighed over him. She didn’t so much complain at the idea of receiving this rare kindness of his, but it did make her wonder why she had earned it. “Thank you though… I appreciate the offer, but I don’t want to burst those..” A slight pause was made as she observed his muscles that he more often than not, posed with. “… Muscles..” It was a joke, or a tease, depending on how he was to take it, but not a very good one at that. Humour wasn’t her strongest point. It was rather dry, or leant towards being more dark than quirky and upbeat.

Not long after, they and the rest of the group wandered down towards their cabin. Her eyes scanned the area, taking in what she could of the place all while listening to her ally, despite not necessarily keeping the eye contact during conversation. It wasn’t that she was trying to be rude. She was just awkward, and asking how she had been really wasn’t something she enjoyed lying about, so she was to keep it short and sweet. “It was fine. I can’t complain, I suppose. How about you? Found any fine ladies yet?”

Her attention was to be drawn to Arjan to catch his reaction, but it seemed both their attention had been quickly drawn to their cabin. It was one the Slytherin was least expecting. Not so much the layout or the interior— that was quite stunning, but the ’partypooper’ sign and the… was that the Head of Hufflepuff on the..table? Falentra couldn’t believe it. She couldn’t actually take in the sight before her. So much so that her gaze somehow managed to part from the sight and over to Arjan who happened to be giving her the look too. “I uh..” She was stuck for words. Embarrassed maybe. “That’s our…. That’s Caradoc… Head of Hufflepuff.” Yes, it was embarrassing now that she had to explain that the man on the table was capable of leading a whole house. A partypooper she may of been, but this just wasn’t what she was expecting to see so soon. She needed time to settle, to prepare. Not to deal with..this.

Right now the Slytherin was lost for words too. Her gaze had separated from Arjan’s by now and had made their way across the room to finally studied those who were nearby. A boy, (Gregorí), who she clocked studying herself and her peer made brief eye contact with one another. It was a cold stare she had given— unintentionally, really. It was just her irritated expression from dealing with everything that had just gone on in a matter of seconds.

“Arjan… I.. I-I.. I don’t even..” She was utterly lost for words. And for her to stutter so calmly very very unlike her.

If there was one thing Nakita hated it was evil people. Okay, not really. But how else could she describe her undying hate for this school? Yeah, big mistake in poisoning her with the essence of insanity. Big.. big mistake. Karma is coming, she was sure of it. She would have her revenge... oh yeah... it will be... very big. Dhe hasn't gotten all the details out.

And the only crime she can think of is poisoning her, bit she knows they're up to something else. Why else did she sign up for this stupid camp? Sire, it would be a ball not having to go to her parents pure blood balls, but still. She was on a mission. She listened to some rules with a bunch of other kids. Yeah right. If they had any rules they wouldn't slip some options into my drinks.

Nikita Lebedev could truly hold a grudge. She walked to her cabin and only shrugged as she walked in. She simply refused to show she was on awe and was rather angry with herself for it. This was the enemy, after all. She didn't bother looking for an extra bunk.

She set her luggage down for a moment before yelling over the chatter,"Any empty bunks?" if someone heard her, surely they would tell her if there was an open spot, top or bottom. Or maybe they were all evil here. Everyone looked too innocent. She frowned slightly at everyone around her. Everyone seemed to not be worrying about anything. No care in the world. fools. Do they not realize how dangerous this could be? Or maybe poisoning drinks is a regular activity, so it's no shock to them.

He ended up with the Dragon Cabin - fan-tabulous. He was not particularly fussed about the amenities, it was who he was going to be spending his summer with that was truly important. A quick skim of the roster and two familiar names would be a stand-out. The first: Adonis Thorne, dormmate. The second: Levi Drakos, his victim.

It was as if the Hogwarts staff knew what was in his heart and what he needed. He would take a look around the cabin, realizing rather swiftly that he had beat his plaything there. First impressions are best impressions he reasoned as he pulled something from his trunk intended for such an unsettling occasion.

A red, velvet-like robe and pants. Yes, he was going to wear pants today, they were satin and he loved how they felt on his skin. The image was, well remarkable. Satin cuffs and a snide expression, his legs propped up on a coffee table and yes he has matching slippers. There may or may not have been a bubble pipe clenched between his teeth as well.

The reason for this was simple -- the eye searing first (or in the case of Adonis and Levi second or more) impression.

It would be hard for Levi to determine if the long and daunting train ride had been worth the arrival at the Dragon cabin. Inside, it was grand and comfortable, humbly royal in memory of its title with knickknacks around to display such. The decorations were appropriately thematic, appealing to Levi and his infatuation with power and the creatures it bred. Sure, he had not seen the other cabins beyond what luxuries the exterior disguised, but he would claim it was a safe bet that a cabin named for unconditional destruction would stand out among the pack.

He wandered in on his aching legs, eyes lingering on the various students setting up their beds and chatting about god-knows-what before his gaze came to rest on a bed with no one occupying either the top nor bottom bunk. Sauntering over to this bed, the boy tossed his bag onto the bottom bunk and sat down, unwinding from a dragging day of nothingness.

Despite the afternoon bleeding into evening, the sun was still dancing in the sky without the faintest sign of weariness. Its energy had quite apparently made home in the hearts of the students assigned here, some fitting his idea of a Dragon and some not. There was a dark-haired girl with an aura of intimidation that piqued his interest, looming not far from the Greek God that barely left his thoughts in time for bed. The brunet's hazel stare would remain on them for some time, taking in the curves of their noses and shape of their lips, rubbing his legs intensely as though it would help the ache.

There was a split second of peace, not unlike the morning after a trauma when you've temporarily forgotten everything that's wrong. It would fade as quickly as it came, like the dusk before the stars began to litter the night sky. And then, his stars arrived.

Their date at the Blossom Ball had not gone the way he intended. There wasn't a speck of doubt that the admiring words he dreamed would reach her parents or just that, a dream. Instead, he was the flake, the boy that left her alone in favor of investigating some mystery he could barely remember going anywhere. Feeding his ego, as it grew exponentially and beyond what anyone could imagine. Part of him refused to let go of his assailant, knowing there was something more to their relationship, something deeper than coincidence, because God help us all if he was a true pawn only carved like a king. Oh Nikita, a sly smile would play on his lips, how I wish I was sorry.

While he hoped their gazes wouldn't meet, there was nothing to fear in these walls. A professor was present, after all. And as of now, nothing scared him, save the few ladies he met with those auras of cadaver-like beauty and him. Hoping to avoid the beautiful girl's eyes, Levi would sink away from the bunks and back into the sitting area.

Speak of the devil.

Perhaps people would always flout what they didn't want to see, gradients of black and purple, on the same level as selective hearing in the youth toward their superiors. But how did he miss this? The tree boy was dressed like the management of a playboy manor. It was a bizarre miracle that has sharp limbs hadn't pierced the satin he was wearing. Such an expression of horror as the one that Levi was wearing now had never been seen by humanity before. Why had he been assigned here? For a second, he pondered asking for a change, but that was an expression of weakness that he would die before showing to Percematt.

So it was Nelly or the Lorax. Death or death. It wasn't worth it.

Nikita frowned slightly as no one answered her. She will just have to do this the hard way, then. Her eyes searched the bunks... but no. Something distracted her.

There were many things Nikita knew could go wrong. This was one of them. But as she looked at Matt, she realized maybe it wasn't so bad. She could make his time here horrible. He would regret showing his face at the ball. He would regret setting eyes on Levi... oh. Even though she had said some rude things to him , she still liked him. She hadn't really gotten the chance to say sorry.

But back to Matt. A plan already formed in her head and she smiled. With her duffle bag on her shoulder, she walked forward and pretended not to see him. She made sure to bump into him with her shoulder. She had a sudden memory of when Charles had nearly knocked her over and not say sorry.

She glanced at Matt, just for a moment, then kept walking. She looked among the bunk beds and found an empty one. She threw her bag to the top. Not even bothering with the ladder, she gripped the railing and hoisted herself up and over after her bag. Up there, she pulled out some sheets. As she was placing them on, she looked down.

Well, well, well. Instead of smiling, she frowned. There eyes would not meet, do not worry, but instead she found him. Perhaps he would recognize that Russian accent. "Well just my luck." She said to him. She ended up with him and Matt. She crossed her arms.

Raised an eyebrow. Was he intimidated yet? She hoped so. "Looking for a bunk?" She asked, slyly. She looked back over at Matt. "look out, kissy lips might see you and ask to share a bunk."

Mathias was manspreading. His legs taking up as much space as possible on either side of him. His arms on both cushions to either side. Wooden pipe making cheerful little bubbles on whim. He was looking to make a scene, at the very least see the expression of abject horror on Levi's face. Yes darling, I was thinking of you when I picked this get-up. He would give the boy a cheeky wink.

Levi's former girlfriend. The imported, "exotic" Nikita. She was basically a young man with long hair as far as Mathias was concerned. She even threatened like a boy when she went out of her way to bump into his shoulder. Of course that would be her first mistake, coming into proximity with the snake who reached out for her as she walked away. His long, lanky arms had a use, he tried to give her hair a quick tug as she wandered off into the next room. "Mice Meeing Muu Mikita" he announced through his teeth that still held his bubble toy. [Nice Seeing You Nikita]

No intention of ripping the girl's hair out yet, that would prove harm. Like the bruise he hoped he got on his shoulder. From his front pocket he would withdraw a pair of glasses and place them on his face. There was a reason for everything, this too.

"Looking for a bunk?"

He knew that inquiry for for Levi but that did not matter.

"No, I am set. Stop begging. He pulled the pipe from his mouth for the sake of clarity and gave her a wink.

"Look out, kissy lips might see you and ask to share a bunk."

"Good plan," he commented. "Levi, I will bunk with you. We can snuggle and talk about girls." A kissy pose made with his wonderful, pillowy lips that Levi knew well enough to appreciate. "Want a hit of my bubble pipe?" There was a casual, carefree tone to his voice as if they were friends at some point, some place. Surely they were not, the only memories they shared were the ones that made nightmares.
