That night was the night. Henry would put his plan and strategy to the test that night when he would sneak into the restricted section of the library with his best friend.
Since arriving at Hogwarts, the teen have longed to enter the forbidden area of the library. To read the books on subjects that the school considered too dangerous to teach, to find what secrets were kept from students behind the gate, and to find something... well anything that would help him with his investigation or search on hi mum's family; the Knights.
Henry choose to skip dinner that night, his stomach felt queasy anyway probably from his nerves and panic about that night. The teen was worried, worried that they might get caught and lose housepoints and earn detention, worried that they won't be able to get into the restricted section, worried that something else could go wrong. His anxiety kept on find different aspects to worry about and Henry needed to calm himself down at least a little bit before he would meet Logan at the library. Well in front of it, the teen remembered meeting with her before and going over the plan to get in with a few changes from her.
First step was to meet outside of the library at during dinner on the 31st
Second step enter the library together then examine the library to be sure they were alone
Third step open up the restricted section and go inside
Fourth step keep a eye on the time, find the books that seem like they hold the information and read them real quick then close the gate again and make their escape
The plan wasn't that elaborate but the teen hoped it would be enough and they would have enough time in the restricted section. Henry would check the watch on his wrist for the time before pulling on his hoodie and placing his wand in the pocket.
He would pick up the pendant from his side table and squeeze it for a moment before sidling it over his head and placing it underneath his hoodie and out of view. Henry would strach his orange feline; Loki behind the ears for a minute before leaving him in his dormitory.
The young teen would walk through the corridors of Hogwarts to the library still feeling his anxiety increasing about how they night would turn out.
When he would reach the library, Henry wait outside it and stand right next to the door keeping his eyes peeled for his best friend.

When Henry had first talked to Logan about the idea of sneaking into the restricted section, she was hesitant. She didn't want to risk getting in trouble and her father finding out, but over time she had come to find the idea of sneaking into that section rather amusing, as she had spent many nights wandering the halls until she almost fell asleep.
The Hufflepuff made her way through the corridors, attempting to avoid any spots that would be over populated with students who were later for dinner. The brunette's boots tapped against the floor quietly, the rest of her outfit a simple pair of jeans and a black long sleeved shirt. She had a knitted, black hooded scarf around her shoulders, mostly to keep away the cold draft that drifted through the corridors away, but also to allow her to pull it over her head if needed.
She knew they were going to look for information on Henry's family, but she was also curious on what books she could find about different potions. She would never think about brewing said potions, as there was a reason they were in the restricted section, but it still made her curious. Potions was not the main goal of this trip though, Henry wanted to find some information about his family so that is what she was going to help with.
"You ready to do this?" Logan questioned quietly as she made her way towards the boy with a smile on her face.

When he would spot Logan walling toward him instantly he would smile toward her. Before noticing that they both wore a clothing item that held a black hood, it was assuming to picture to students running away from the restricted section both wearing black hoods but also it was pretty smart to.
" yeah, are you ready to do through," Henry asked his best friend looking over her not wanting to force her to do something that she didn't want to do. The young teen would then look around the corridor, to his satisfaction he didn't see anyone else or at least he thought he didn't as he look over at Logan and smiled as he spoke" it's now or never then, are you sure you still want to do this Robin? I'll understand if don't want to and could still sneak in alone."
It was true that Henry could sneak in alone but he didn't perfer to, he asked his best friend to join him because he thought it sneaking into the restricted section would be something that they both would enjoy and a memory that they both would share.
Henry would nod toward Logan before taking the few steps to the entrance of the library and he would pull the door open. Holding it open long enough for Logan and him to slip through however once he would allow the girl to enter first, he would follow behind letting the door close again.
Henry would look around the library, the darkness of the library added a eerie but also comforting feeling as he took a breath.
The young teen would then eye the girl who he was standing besides before speaking" maybe once were inside the restricted section you can find a few books on potions? And maybe there's a few that you could try brewing and I'll of course help you," Henry always thought that Logan was brilliant when it came to potions so he wouldn't be surprised if she could brew a advanced and possibly restricted one.
Henry would nudge the girl in her shoulder with his own as he smile and spoke" maybe one day I could help you brew polyjuice, " hanging out with his best friend was always fun and brought joy to the young teen even in times like sneaking around when they could get caught at any moment.
Henry would nod toward Logan before he would wall through the library to where the restricted section stood while occasionally glancing at Logan almost for encouragement and a sense of safety.
When they would reach the gate, Henry would gaze inside. Nearly two years he spent looking in, wishing to be on the other side of the gate so he could read the books on subjects that the school classified as too dangerous to teach. Now the moment was arrived, he would be able to step foot inside the restricted section and read them. Well he would after checking to see if he could find anything in there that would help him find his twin sister and also information on his family even if he doubted the fact.
Henry would place his left hand on the gate of the restricted section ready to pull it over before looking over at Logan as he ask"want to open it to together?"

"No more waiting bub. We are doing this," Logan said with a grin as she watched Henry start saying she could back out if she wanted to. There was no way the girl was going to let Henry sneak into the library on his own. Plus, the girl wanted a little bit of adventure.
The Hufflepuff quickly slipped through the door as Henry held it open for her. It was strange seeing the library so empty, but she found it cool at the same time. It reminded her of spending nights in the library at her house, something she would need to show Henry when he visited over the summer. "We can look for Potions another time, I don't want us to get caught because I wanted to look for something else." She told the boy quickly as she looked around to see if she could see anything. At the mention of brewing the polyjuice potion, she only rolled her eyes. "Another day Charm," she said with a grin on her face.
Logan looked through the gate into the Restricted section, making sure to keep Henry in her sight at all times for reassurance. She was slightly nervous about getting caught, who wouldn't be when one of the main rules of the library was to not enter the restricted section. "Yeah, lets do this together," she said as she reached her hand out to the gate to pull it open.

Henry smiled a bit and slightly shook his head, the young teen was glad that he would be doing this with Logan by his side but he also admired his best friend's stubbornly and mischievous side.
The young teen would follow the girl through the dark library, it looked like it could be creep but actually it was pretty cool looking around the empty and quiet library. It had a eeriness of the slytherin common room at night when he stayed up to read with a comforting quiet, it felt rather peaceful standing there.
"We won't get caught because you, don't worry robin plus only I have to look for it so you can look for potions if you want," Henry replied to his best friend, the young Ted never like the feeling of his friends helping him or putting him before themselves. It was still rather a new experience for the lad and he preferred to help them and put them over himself but he was still getting use to the feeling.
"Another day where I'll help you gather ingredients and support you and you brew it," Henry replies to Logan about brewing polyjuice which was quite advanced but Henry was pretty sure Logan could brew it as he nudged her shoulder with his own playfully as he spoke" then we can cause mischief with it together Robin," the boy would give the girl a small smile as he neared the restricted section with her.
Henry would run his hand along the gate, not fully believing that he was finally there as he placed his hand on the gate and turned to Logan. Smiling a bit when she agreed it open it together, Henry would nod toward her with a smile before placing his hands next to Logan's on the gate.
"I don't know how long we're going to have so let's make this count Robin," Henry spoke with a smile and slight nod toward his best friend before eyeing the gate again. It was closed shut and looked almost rusted, the gate felt rather cool at least to the young teen. He took a breath and was ready to push it open with his best friend however he didn't know that someone would stop him.

"'Don't know how long you're going to have'?" a voice from behind the pair of mischief-makers repeated. "Try 'no time at all' if you're here without a pass from a staff member."
An unimpressed-looking boy in plain black hogwarts robes shone his glowing wand in the direction of the Hufflepuff and Slytherin. His half-lidded eyes and frown suggested he didn't think the two were up to any good. "What are you guys doing around this place? Shouldn't you be eating dinner?" His frown deepened. "Or did you decide you'd try to be smart by choosing a time when no one else seemed like they'd be around? It's not as uncommon as you think, you know. But nice try."
The young man sighed deeply and crossed his arms over his chest. "So...either of you want to try explaining to me what you're doing here? This place is locked up and restricted for a reason, as I'm sure you two are both aware. To trespass could mean detention. And don't even think of trying to run because I've already seen your faces. I watched and heard you when you came in," he confirmed.'s Grace could be useful for avoiding notice when tracking down people trying to be sneaky. Also, the library's large amount of tall bookshelves made it easy to hide.

Logan should have been paying more attention to their surroundings while Henry attempted to open the gate for the restricted section. If she had been paying attention, she wouldn't have been as frightened when a voice sounded behind them. The Hufflepuff squealed and spun around, grabbing ahold of Henry's arm as she looked at who had spoken. She had no idea who the person was, but she was sure with how much noise she had made, that they would be getting caught.
Quickly, the girl released Henry's arm and attempted to compose herself. "Ummm...we..." Logan looked over at her best friends with wide eyes as she attempted to figure out an excuse to why they were attempting to get into the restricted section of the library. The girl may have seemed prepared before hand, but she was not prepared to be confronted by someone. Deciding to ignore the first few questions, if Henry wanted to answer them he could, she immediately answered something else.
"We knew the risks of detention whenever we started to plan this out. Even if you hadn't seen our faces, running wouldn't have done us much good." She wasn't sure who this person was, but she assumed if she told the truth, they wouldn't be in as much trouble. It worked the same way with her father. It was worse if she lied and then he later found out she was lying the whole time. "I promise we weren't going to do anything awful. We just wanted to research a little bit."

Henry found the restricted section gate harder to open than he thought, the young teen pushed his hands aginest the bars and thought about using magic to open the gate but deciding aginest it so the pair wouldn't be in more trouble if or when they got caught.
Suddenly Henry heard a squeal from his best friend and felt her grip his arm, the young teen turned around after her expecting to find a prefect or professor but instead it was a unfamiliar boy with spkey black hair.
Henry heard his voice and a absentmindedly took a step in front of Logan as his blue eyes scanned over the stranger. He didn't recognized him as a prefect or from his classes or the corridors, he seemed unfamiliar. Almost to unfamiliar.
Henry heard Logan struggle with the stranger's first few quest and turned his head slightly to meet her eyes and nodded a bit, reaching out to grab her hand closest to him before turning back to the spikey hair kid.
Usually he told the truth but there were certain times that he bended the truth, this was one of those times as he spoke rather calmly and keeping eye contact with the spikey hair boy, " my cousin and I were just curious about what books lays within the restricted section," so technically the young teen didn't lie just bended the truth by saying they were cousins and he never actually said what they were looking for. However if a prefect or professor did arrive then they could easily say that their best friends but occasionally referred to each other as cousins.
Henry still couldn't put a name or place to the boy's face as he stood a bit in front of Logan and heard her voice in his ear. Defending their reasons for being there in the first place and that they both knew the risks, Henry was ready to take the blame himself because a part of him couldn't bear to see his best friend get in trouble for what he wanted to do so the young teen spoke" if your going to report us to a prefect or professor then just report me, my cousin didn't have anything to do with it and was trying to stop me from trying to get into the restricted section."
Henry squeezed Logan's hand a little as his blue eyes fell onto the strange boy only to feel questions spiral around his head and then he thought about the current situation for a moment until he would ask" who are you? If you don't mind me asking because I don't remember seeing you in class or in the corridors before."

The black-haired boy's face softened somewhat when the girl told him they knew the risks and that running wouldn't have done much good. At least she knew she was doing something she wasn't supposed to have been doing and owned up to it right away.
As he opened his mouth to reply, however, the other boy - a brunet - claimed that 'his cousin' and he were curious about the books in the restricted section. That would have probably been harmless enough, but the more he listened, the more the spikey-haired noiret frowned. He drummed his fingers lightly on his other arm while waiting for the boy to finish. Then he tried to speak again.
"Being curious is one thing. Acting on that curiousity is another," he told them both. "Those books are in the restricted section for a reason. If you knew what was restricted, you might try to find some other way to get a hold of knowledge you're not supposed to have and that's not allowed."
He regarded the boy with a critical look, one brow raised in suspicion. "I guess you're trying to be noble or something to say your cousin didn't have anything to do with 'it', whatever 'it' is, but there are two of you here and whether she's your cousin or not," he said, pointing to the girl, "she still said you had planned something together."
Planting his fists on his hips, he cocked his head at the duo. "Me?" the spikey-haired boy asked, incredulous. "You're the one sneaking around and you think you have a right to get to know who I am? Even if you weren't just caught about to break the rules, don't you know it's only polite to introduce yourself first before asking who someone else is?"
Then he sighed and ran a hand down his face. "I'm Shawn. I'm new this year, so that's probably why you wouldn't recognize me. But even I know you aren't supposed to be in this area." He glanced past the two students to the restricted bookshelves beyond. "What exactly were you two looking for anyway? Something specific?"

Logan glanced at Henry, frowning a bit at the fact he was slightly lying and saying that they were cousins, but also trying to take all of the blame. There was no way she was going to let him take all of the blame for something she had participated in as well. The Hufflepuff was confused on who the boy was though, she had honestly never seen him before in her time as Hogwarts, so when Henry asked who he was, she listened closely for an answer.
The girl had completely forgotten that she had said they planned it together, but at least Henry was not taking all of the blame anymore. If he was going to detention, she was going to detention with him.
When the unknown boy said it was only polite to introduce themselves first, she rolled her eyes and looked away slightly. She had no idea who this boy was, but she was not the biggest fan of him at the moment. "Well Shawn," Logan started off as she squeezed Henry's hand tightly, "I am Logan." She would allow Henry to introduce himself, just in case he had anything else planned. She honestly wasn't sure how much trouble the two of them were going to get into, but she hoped that it was not going to be too much trouble.
"I want to find more potions that could assist with healing. I want to become a healer and thought maybe if I could find some more advanced potions, I would be able to get a little ahead." She knew honesty was the best policy, so why tell the boy a lie if it wasn't going to change the outcome of whether they got in trouble or not. Why she was telling a fellow student who had caught them instead of a professor, she had no idea.
