The day was June 15th. 10 days till the next full moon on the 24th of June.

Henry Knight was walking alone through the grounds alone, reading a book on ancient ruins. The young werewolf was just started to take on the effects of the upcoming full moon, his eyes had darkish bags underneath, he looked skinnier than usual and sounded a bit like he has a sore throat.

The teen didn't look that bad yet, he would probably get worse in the coming days as it got closer and closer to the full moon. The last full moon he would experience at Hogwarts before heading home for the summer holiday where he felt like things were bound to change.

The teen saw a rather unusual amount of students around the great lake, grounds, and campgrounds. All doing different tasks but accomplishing one goal; weeding.

Henry assumed that was the errand that the groundskeeper had. The teen saw it and liked the idea of being out in nature and actively looking for different animals and creatures while also weeding but he wasn't quite in the mood for it.

The upcoming full moon bothered him a bit, he dwelled on it even if he knew he shouldn't have. Imagining the worst possible scenarios both for him to he involved in and for the ones he cared about to be involved in, a part of him couldn't stop thinking about what if another lockdown happened on the full moon. He would he stuck in the shrieking shack in wolf form unable to do anything to help his friends... friends it was rather odd to him, the teen had friends but then there were the ones he considered family.

The ones he considered family were what fueled his thoughts, his anxiety into imagining what if another lockdown occurred on the full moon. What if someone he cared about got hurt. What if something did happen and he wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

Henry had the book opened in his hands and his eyes scanned the pages, turning a page every few moments as he read the contents but his thoughts focused elsewhere.

The young werewolf felt his anxiety bubble within him. Showing him situations and possibilities that he would have rather not seen or imagined. The thoughts inside his head made him feel empty or rather separate from others. He felt like he was on one side and everyone else on the other, like he could see them and help them but no one could see him or help him.

The teen felt almost like he did before coming to hogwarts, like he didn't belong. He didn't have a place. He was separate from everyone because if his thoughts and condition.

The teen walked through the grounds, getting to the edge as he entered the campgrounds. There wasn't much special about that place, there were memories there definitely but nothing noteworthy that placed a certain emotion within Henry.

The teen would walk through the campgrounds, keeping his head low as he scanned the pages of his book and kept his thoughts locked in. Almost like the monster he felt within him struggling to get out, to find freedom but he kept it locked up and away from everyone so no one would see the monster within. So no one would see him the way he saw himself. A failure. A monster. A werewolf.

Henry continued his walk before spotting two red heads. A part him wanted to turn back or avoid them. He didn't want to be seen nor have his presence ruin anyone else's day like it already did his. He thought the two would have more fun together then if he would join them, leaving seemed like the best bet for him at the time.

The teen turned on his heel and started to take a few steps back when he would trip over a shovel and nearly fall, luckily he caught himself after making quite the noise.

The young werewolf panicked a bit as he looked around, careful that no one saw him before hiding all emotion behind his barrier only a smile was seen along with the full moon effects; bags under his eyes, skinny or perhaps a worn out appearance, and his voice which sounded slightly like he had a wore throat.

The teen would close his book and hold it underneath his right arm as he picked up the shovel in his left and turn and took the few steps to the two red heads.

Placing the shovel in front of them as he spoke" Hello, I didn't expect to see either of you today," or any other student for that matter actually but it seemed like a weeding errand was quite popular among the students, "I take it your both doing the errand, how is your weeding going then?"

His wand sat in a pocket on the inside of his jacket as he thought of what others would do with the errand. Certain members of his dormitory would probably either light it on fire or use the weeds to either prank another dorm mate or turn their wands on each other or something else since the Snape dormitory was rather unpredictable.

Cash would probably use magic on the weeds at Henry thought their slytherin friend would, he would probably try to get them to duel since the quidditch scrimmage that the young werewolf only joined for his purple haired housemate.

Henry thought Logan would probably weed the best out of all his friends but he was probably just biased against the girl.

As for the two red heads standing in front of him, he had his thoughts but wasn't completely sure what method they were using and how productive it was as he asked" so why did you mates sign up to weed that is did you or were you just casually walking around here," the young teen then smile a bit playfully as he spoke mainly as a joke, " any of your spells backfire against you yet, Scar?"

A chance to destroy school property...with no consequences?

It sounded too good to be true, but - in fact - it wasn't. Though shovels and gardening tools and stuff were preferable, you were apparently allowed to use your wands as well, the prospect of which excited Scarlett greatly. Though she wasn't the toughest and strongest student in the school, in physical means at least, she had been doing a lot of training with Gris ever since she had joined the team and seemed to have at least gained some muscle. Though wands were the best way to destroy school grounds, in Scarlett's opinion at least, she was a Quidditch player first and foremost and so her time would go into Quidditch.

She had signed up. Scarlett really rather enjoyed Hogwarts's errands, and had done quite a few since she had joined the school as a measly, scrawny eleven year old. There was her first one, where she had to write a thank you letter, or several. She had written one to the Troop, she remembered. Then there was the baking one, for the hungry Groundskeeper right? Her cake had been sent to him incredibly charred and burnt, so Scarlett doubted it would've satisfied his appetite. Afterwards was the one where they got to look after cute pets, and then there was another one where they wrote thank you letters to professors, and another one where they made Secret Santa presents, and another one where they decorated the Three Broomsticks and another one where they had to try and start a fire in the freezing snow, and then the one where they had to present a presentation on their hometown, and then one where they had to fix books, one where they had to make tea and finally - this one.

It was an exhaustive list and by no means easy to complete. But Scarlett was pretty proud of her list of errands, even if some were as simple as writing a nice note to the professors. Anyway, she had slipped on some old clothes as to not get fresh mud and dirt on her newer ones. Faded jeans and a random black t-shirt would do, as well as slightly scuffed trainers. She ambled out of the castle and to somewhere she would be digging up holes in. She didn't want to destroy the grounds - her absolute favourite hang-out place. And she didn't want to destroy the Great Lake, her absolute-absolute favourite hang-out place. So campgrounds it was.

As she walked over, a spare shovel in hand, she caught sight of a familiar redhead, just like her. Though there were a numerous amount of people with red hair at Hogwarts, she would always recognise Rose's fiery curls. Lips stretching into a grin, Scarlett called out to her friend. "Rose! Hi! We ready to destroy school property?" She set her shovel into the ground, leaning on it and taking out her wand, thinking of spells she could use.

Just then, Henry appeared. Scarlett greeted him with a wave. "Hey Henry! Yes, we are doing the errand, though we haven't started weeding yet. I'm thinking of using a spell first. Starting big, y'know? And I signed up myself, because you know me-" She shrugged, feigning innocence. "I never pass off a chance to cause some destruction."

Scarlett decided on the spell she was going to use first. She pointed her wand at the floor and yelled, "Incendio Duo! Stand back!" The ground erupted into flames before her.

Scarlett loved magic. She loved the feeling of it, of how you were in control, constantly changing and shifting things - colours, the elements, light...it was amazing. How you could conjure a blaze in seconds, how you could create an umbrella or light up a dark room with a simple wand motion and an incantation. She sighed in content, which was slightly odd for those surrounding her. Was she some sort of maniac? Revelling in destruction?

Though she adored the sight of flames licking the grass, it was getting quite big now, so with a sigh, Scarlett said, "Extinguo."

The fire was extinguished, though a single flame lingered behind, which Scarlett stomped out hurriedly. She inspected her work. It had done nothing except make the grass black. Her eyebrows quirked up, in slight disappointment before she spun around to Rose and Henry, arms arms out in a flourish position.

"Well," she said with a sigh and a small smile. "Now we know what won't work. Softens up the grass at least, doesn't it?"

I missed the deadline for rewards, but I am still going to roleplay with my friends :3
Rose felt horrible. It's hard to explain why, but she was overall feeling an air around her that something bad was going to happen. All day today, since she woke up. Maybe it was because of her dreams. After all, people say that you can't remember most of your dreams, right? Every little thing put her off today, and for some reason, she had felt too nauseous to eat breakfast. A tall and bony first year had pushed her over in the hall by accident, and though they rushed to apologize, Rose had accused them of pushing her around and stormed off. Five or six steps away, she realized that she had been irrational, and had turned around to apologize, but she was a little too late. Maybe it was that?

Or maybe it was the thought that, in a month...

No. Rose wasn't going to think about that today.

Let's do this again, shall we?

Rose needed a way to escape, something to do. She saw the weeding errand, and all she could think about was her mom and how much she liked Herbology and...

No- I don't think that's right either. One last time.

The Hogwarts Grounds were big and beautiful, but it wasn't entirely cohesive, and there weren't a lot of shrubs or anything, or big landscaping masterpieces. Rose didn't mind, of course. She loved everything about the Hogwarts grounds, and didn't really mind it. But if the Groundskeeper wanted the grounds to be a little prettier, then Rose was willing to help him.

Apparently Scarlett had a different approach.

She had cast a glance around the area where everybody had gathered, and Scarlett Aden had come up to her. Rose smiled at the redhead, and her fellow Gryffindor exclaimed about destroying school property. "Hey, Scarlett," Rose rolled her eyes a little bit and smirked at Scarlett's chaotic demeanor, but they were soon joined by Henry.

Rose couldn't ever help but smile when she saw Henry. He just felt so much like her brother these days. Probably because he almost was. They saw each other a lot, and he was just so... present. It was almost like he was gonna be there for her forever, and he wasn't gonna ditch her. He couldn't really. He was stuck with her.

"Hi, Henry," she said, grinning. "We actually haven't started yet, I just got here, and Scarlett came up to me and then you came up to us. Haven't really missed anything."

Henry asked them about why they were here. "No, we're not here to do the errand. That's clearly why Scarlett has a shovel." Scarlett came in again with another exclamation about destruction.

She scoffed. "I'm not sure you get the purpose of this errand," Rose said, smirking. "The purpose of this errand isn't an encouraged, unchecked, destructive rampage on school property..." she paused, then looked over to Henry for confirmation about what her mind was thinking. "Oh wait, actually..."

"Anyway," she continued, getting back to answering Henry's question. "I needed to find something to do today. But I'm glad I bumped into you guys. What about you?" She decided to ask him the same. "What brought you to help weed the grounds?"

A little yelp escaped her as Scarlett cast fire towards the bushes, jumping behind Henry comically. Regaining her composure as she realized she was being ridiculous, she said sarcastically towards her fellow redhead, "You could have told us to stand back before you shot fire at us."

She came out behind Henry just before Scarlett put the flames out. "Sorry, I'm a little on edge today. Maybe it's because my friend is a pyromaniac and she has a shovel," Rose joked. Even though it was in a joking manner that she said it, Rose was on edge for some strange reason. It wasn't Henry- she knew that much. It was just... a month from now, she would have a stepfather, and it was so weird to think about. No. She was here to take her thoughts off of all that stuff. She wasn't here to think about that, or to dwell on it. She looked over to Henry. "I don't know how you've survived this long, honestly."

Scarlett made a huge breakthrough about how burning the ground. She nodded at Scarlett, then said to Henry, "Do you have any ideas about weeding?" He was the most brilliant of the group, after all. If you want to be all technical about it, Rose might be just as smart as he was, but that didn't mean that she really believed that.

Sorry sorry the wait!
The two red heads seemed to say the identical just with two different personalities at least to Henry. Scarlett seemed excited or full of energy, maybe because she enjoyed destruction as she exclaimed and started to possibly think about what spell to use getting a small smile from Henry.

Rose seemed a bit more quiet and down to earth. He would stare at her for a minute and thought there was something possibly wrong with her before giving her a nod and smile as he replied" the errand was designed to get students to weed the grounds and help the groundskeeper in any means they want as long as they remain safe," putting a slight emphasis on the word safe as his attention back went to Scarlett for a second.

"Boredom brought you here," Henry asked turning to look at Rose's eye before taking a minute to form his answer as he showed the two the book on ancient ruins under his arm before replying" I thought I would read head for next year, do you two know what classes you will be choosing?" Henry was interested in the third year classes and could discuss class and books all day but refrained himself from it.

The actual reason he was there, was his fury problem felt rather odd that day and he was hoping a peaceful day outside alone could help. So much for being alone seeing he ran into two familiar red heads and loads of others doing a errand.

Henry turned his eyes from Rose to Scarlett when heard the green eyed girl Yelp and jumped behind him then saw flames emerge onto the ground. His mind panicking and started to evaluate how they got there when his blue eyes landed on Scarlett and her wand. He should have figured the flames were hers.

Smiling a little to Rose's response to Scarlett, the only emtiom shown on his face as be spoke" expect the unexpected with Scar," giving Scarlett a light smirk at the use of the nickname knowing full well that the girl hated them however it never did seem to phase Henry as he continued to use them with her.

Once Scarlett extinguished the flames his gripped loosen on his book a bit that was under his right arm now that there wasn't anything else that could destroy or damage the contents.

Hearing Rose's words and turning to meet the green eyes, the same color of Alexa's however Henry thought Alexa's was beautiful and unique. That her eyes were perfect and you could get lost in them. Thoughts Henry never matched or use for Rose, maybe it was because they were going to be siblings soon.

"Are you alright," Henry asked Rose referring her day and not that flames that were just extinguished and would give her a moment to reply smiling a bit and nodding before turning his head and giving Scarlett a light smirk as he replied" and this is why they say duelists are smarter than quidditch players," brushing a strand or two of hair from his eyes as he quickly added" kidding, only kidding Scar."

"You'll learn to live with it," Henry replied to Rose's comment as he smiled toward Scarlett. Actually the teen knew how he survived, he knew her which meant he knew what made her tick and what didn't. That especially came in handy when Henry wanted to mess with the girl or get on her nerves without actually trying to.

Now that he thought about her, the young teen couldn't help but smile at the fact that Rose was the youngest in the group. She was the only one that was still twelve, that wasn't a teenager yet. It struck Henry as slightly funny but didn't mention it.

Henry nodded toward Scarlett's notes about using incendio on a patch of dry grass that could spread flames quickly given the chance. Before thinking for a moment on Rose's question, there was both muggle and wizarding ways to weed it only depended on which you perfer.

"Muggles usually use gloves and their hands to weed but also use different tools. For example a secateur which cuts away long vines or trims plants and also a hand tiller or fork for weeds like this," Henry explained as he then started to thinking the wizarding ways taking a moment before adding, " the wizarding garden ways include spells such as the herbivicus charm, orchideous, engorgio, reducio, and a few others." The blue eye teen took a second to go over the different spells before turning toward Scarlett as he spoke his ideas.

"Maybe try reducio to shrink the weeds or diffindo if you want to stick with chaos, " Henry spoke toward Scarlett and Rose if she was going to start weeding as well. The considered himself more of a thinker or planner rather than a doer, that was probably one of the reasons why him and Scarlett were close as kids. Scarlett usually did things and Henry thought up ideas, maybe some things done change after all.

She had to admit, the fire had been cool. Come on - who wouldn't find a massive fire you could conjure with a flick of your wand uncool? She turned around to Rose and Henry, arms outstretched as if to say, Tada! I almost burned you guys to death! She had a dislike of being left out, or feeling like a third wheel, and whilst there were ways to fix this and convince herself she was equal to Rose and Henry in the group - and not just a castaway - almost incinerating the two of them probably wasn't going to help. She turned to Rose.

"The purpose of this errand is to - in fact - have an 'encouraged, unchecked, destructive rampage on school property'. Just like everyone else is doing, over there!" She pointed to her fellow students, who were having an encouraged, unchecked, destructive rampage on school property. "And destruction is fun. A healthy outlet for anger, I think. I find it helps much more than 'deep breathing' and 'taking a walk in nature'. And if you were looking for something to do, Rose, then tada!" She grinned dazzlingly at her friend, who addressed Henry instead. Scarlett sighed with a knowing smile.

The two of them were to be step-siblings. Another point to how Scarlett gets left out of things!

It wasn't under her control, and she was just being petty, really. But she couldn't help but feel a little upset there was one more thing to bring Rose and Henry closer to each other, and not to her. They were quiet, caring bookworms and animal lovers whilst Scarlett was...not so quiet, nor caring, nor a bookworm, nor an animal lover - apart from her cat Sparta and the other cats of Hogwarts. She sometimes even wished her friend Cassie was here, with that guy Charles. They were like her, at least.

She shook those thoughts from her head. There were times to hang out with Cassie and Charles, and there were times to enjoy wrecking school property with Rose and Henry. Slapping a bright smile on her face, she replied to Rose. "Eh, where's the fun in prior warnings?" Accompanied by this was a shrug. "Living in the moment Rose. Carpe diem." She had absolutely no clue what it meant, but foreign languages always made you sound sophisticated. She turned to Henry. "Live a little guys. Why would you want to stay safe?" She smirked, to assure them it was all a joke.

["Yes, expect the unexpected with the pyromaniac with a shovel who just so happens to be your friend," she said with a nod, before the group started on doing the actual weeding. "And Quidditch is way better!" she added, as an afterthought and a too-late comeback to Henry's previous remark. Henry then started listing ideas, which brought Scarlett into a sense of familiarity. When they were kids, it was like this. Henry thought of a brilliant idea, Scarlett took that into action. "Ooh Diffindo..."

Scarlett started hexing all of the weeds in her pathway, becoming the Ravager of Weeds. Rose and Henry started a competition to see who could weed the most weeds. It was more or less a shaky tie, Scarlett's methods being the most destructive whilst Rose and Henry's were more...smart. Anyway, she slung her shovel over her shoulder like those people she saw in American movies, before walking back to the castle with her friends.
