Another year gone. The summer holiday has arrived and the Hogwarts Express would be taking students back to their homes that year.
Henry couldn't believe that his second year was finally over. He felt like it lasted a lifetime but also like it was gone in a flash. So much has happened that year, a lot more than his first year that was.
He grew closer with past friends and made new ones. Created new memories that he would treasure forever. Earned straight O's that year is all of his classes and was invited for the strange Trial Of Fear because of his willingness to learn as much as he could while at Hogwarts.
Henry wanted down to the station with his orange feline; Loki on his left shoulder and trunk in his left hand with a backpack over his right shoulder. The young teen promised to meet his best friend; Logan Baird and her own feline; Sherlock at the station so they could find a compartment together.
Henry was asked by friends if he was attending the summer camp that year in August and heard there was a dueling event for the Viridian Vipers since they won the championship that year but sadly he wasn't able to attend. His father was marrying his new step mother that holiday making the teens summer filled with chaos. The only good part was he was becoming step siblings with his close friend; Rose Moon which sounded good since he couldn't attend the dueling event that summer holiday.
Henry arrived at the station and would instantly start looking around for Logan, as he looked he remembered that he told his other close friend; Cash Ironwoods that they would share a compartment together but couldn't find them so he thought they'll just meet up on the train later.
Henry spotted Logan after a bit and would approach her with a smile and hey before he would board the train with her.
The teen was wearing six friendship bracelets on his right wrist, one matching the one that he gave Logan nearly two yeats ago. While underneath his shirt laid the fox necklace that she gave him during the last Christmas holiday and the gold rusted pendant from his mum.
Henry would wall along the train, smiling toward his best friend glad they had these last few moments together before they would depart for the summer holiday.
Henry would peer into a empty compartment and smile over at Logan as he spoke" this ones empty, shall we sit here?" After they agreed Henry would slide the door open and let her enter first.
He would follow her, sliding the door closed behind him. Henry would a bit uneasy left his trunk above his head and shove it into the overhead basket, smiling to himself before turning to his best friend as he spoke" let me robin," the young teen would lift Logan's trunk above his head as well and shove it gently into the above basket.
Finding a seat next to the girl in the compartment as he dropped his backpack by his feet and Loki jumped off his shoulder to step closer to Sherlock and rub his head aginest the feline.
Henry would smile toward Logan as he spoke"some year it's been right?" smiling as he nudged the girl a bit with his shoulder in a playful manner as he joked, "I still remember our last astronomy exam and how I scored one point higher than you."

A Close To Another Year
Logan had learned a lot throughout her second year at Hogwarts, meeting new people along the way. Most of the people she had met were friends with Henry though, so technically she didn't meet them on her own.
The Hufflepuff stood at the station, Sherlock curled across her shoulders like a scarf. She had told Henry that she would meet him at the station so they could get a compartment together. Glancing around she grinned and greeted the boy as he made his way over to her, she was excited to get home and be able to see her family again. She surprisingly missed her brothers greatly. That was another reason she wasn't going to the summer camp this year, she wanted to be able to spend time with her family between dance and competitions.
Following her best friend onto the train, Logan huffed slightly as she moved through some of the other students. She allowed Henry to be the one to find them a compartment. Logan almost ran into the boy's back when he found them an empty compartment. "Perfect," the brunette smiled as she made her way into the compartment. Sherlock immediately launched himself onto the back of the seats, stretching out to take up as much space as possible. The Hufflepuff girl only shook her head with a giggle at her strange cat.
"Thank you Charm," Logan mumbled to the boy as he put her trunk into the overhead compartment. Sadly the girl was too short to be able to lift her trunk up and put it there herself. Turning around, Logan flopped down on the seat in front of Sherlock, leaning her back against the window as she ran her hand across the cat's back. "Another year down," the girl muttered as she looked at the boy sitting beside her. She sat crisscross on the seat as Sherlock jumped down onto the floor to explore the compartment a bit.
Sherlock purred gently as Loki joined him, batting at the other cat playfully as she jumped up onto the other seat to look out the window. He was a rather curious cat, loving to watch out the windows to see what else was going on in the world around him.
Turning so she righted herself in the seat, Logan scowled at Henry at the mention of him getting one point higher than her on their Astronomy exam. "One point Charm, one point," she groaned as she threw her head back to lean against the back of the seat. "I still have no idea what I did wrong, I thought I had done everything correctly. What did I miss?" she ranted as she glanced over at Henry out of the corner of her eye.
She knew he was messing around with her, but she was still frustrated with herself for having missed that point. She didn't mind that Henry did better than her, it wasn't a competition, but it made her feel like she wasn't doing as well as she could when she missed points on exams.
Deciding to ignore those thoughts, she leaned forwards and glanced at Henry. "You ready to go home?" she asked him, "I know I am, even if I did go home over Christmas break."

"Lucy, I'm fine by myself you know, I really am." Briar Fox lifted her trunk onto the train with a grunt and gave a sigh as her sister elected to levitate hers instead. "I want to go sit with my friends." She gestured in the direction of where a small group of first-years, most of them in blue-crested robes, sat in a compartment a few metres away chatting.
"Oh, c'mon Bree," Lucia protested as she jumed onto the train carriage. "We've barely been able to have sister time all year. And don't laugh at me, you know it's true."
Briar glared at her. "Lucia! We have a whole two months for 'sister time'!" She gripped the handle of her trunk firmly and turned. "I'm going to go sit with my friends. Don't follow me."
"Briar!" But her sister was already gone.
Grumbling a little to herself, Lucia walked up the Hogwarts Express, pulling her trunk along behind her, trying to find a compartment. Then, among the excited chatter around her, she heard a familiar voice.
"... even if I did go home over Christmas break."
Logan! Lucia was saved! She hadn't made any plans to sit with any of her friends, because she'd thought she'd be sitting with Briar, but now she could just sit with her duelling partner - as long as there was room of course.
Lucia hurried along to the compartment from which she'd heard Logan's voice and pulled the sliding door open. There were only two people in it. "Logan! Henry! Phew, I thought I might not find a seat anywhere," Lucia smiled, stepping inside. "Can I sit with you?" Unless either of the other second-years made an objection, Lucia would levitate her trunk onto the rack and sit down on a seat across from them, letting River squeak a greeting from where she was perched on her shoulder before recognising Henry and shying backwards, nearly falling off onto the seat.

Henry nod a bit to his best friend as he carefully pushed her trunk securely into the over head basket before taking a seat besides her in the compartment.
"I know, it's hard to imagine that we're technically third years now," Henry replied to her allowing his blue eyes to meet her brown ones as the young teen still fully didn't grasp the concept that their second year was over and they were third years.
There have been loads of memories created that year and different events, both good while other not good ones happened to the young teen and he couldn't believe that the year was over. It came to a close and the next year was waiting to be opened, almost like a book in a series that you finish but still look forward to the next one.
Loki rubbed his head aginest Sherlock before playing batting at his paws then following the other cat as the orange feline jumped onto a seat besides Sherlock. Except Loki would look over at Logan and Henry, blinking occasionally almost like he was listening to their conversation. He was a rather strange feline.
Henry couldn't help a smile when he heard and saw Logan's reply to the astronomy exam point and he was just messing with her since he would have preferred to help his friends get better at a skill or subject or topic than brag about his own achievements.
"Maybe you just misspelled a constellation or star sign Robin," Henry suggested before throwing his closest arm around her shoulders and playing ruffling her hair with his left hand as he spoke" and that point was probably because you got two points higher than me on the potions exam," Henry knew his best friend would always be better at potions and she had a natural gift in the class but it still bothered the teen that he got to questions wrong and couldn't help but wonder what they were.
Henry left his arm around Logan's shoulders as he leaned against the cushions of the compartment seats, listing to his best friend's words.
"That was four months away after all," Henry replied smiling toward her as he remembered his father would be getting married that summer holiday and he would no doubt be moving again into a new home somewhere with five step siblings.
The thought was daunting to Henry and he was about to ask Logan if he could spend a few nights at her house that summer holiday when the compartment door opened and a familiar voice rang through the compartment.
Henry left his arm around Logan's shoulders as he turned to find a raven hair girl who he knew as Lucia Fox and new pygmy puff; River.
"Hey Lucia and River, of course you guys can sit with us," Henry replied but would look over at Logan and tilt his head down a bit with a arch of his eyebrow, silently asking his best friend if Lucia could join them in the compartment.
If Logan also agreed to Lucia joining them then Henry would stand up and move toward Lucia as he spoke" here let me help you with that," and would gently take the hufflepuff's trunk and lift it over his head wobbling a little as he set it in the head over basket opposite of the one that his and Logan's say in.
Henry then would take his seat next to Logan as he turn his head to Lucia and with a smile spoke" how of you been Lucy?" realizing he called the her a nickname, Henry fluster a bit as he asked softly, " could I call you Lucy?"
Loki would jump from the seat and walk over to Lucia, rubbing aginest her legs and giving a short meow asking to be pet before turning and going back to his seat next to Sherlock. Once the orange feline would sit, he would look at all three third year occasionally binding his amber eyes and ears flickering almost like he was listening to them.
"Any plans for the summer holidays?" Henry asked both girls, mainly Lucia though since he didn't quite speak to her much that year unlike Logan who remembered her talking about horseback competitions and dance recitals.

Logan looked over at Henry with a smile. "Yeah, maybe I did spell something wrong," she muttered as she thought back to the exam, although it wasn't like she would be able to remember any of it anyway. Deciding it didn't really matter at this point, it wasn't like she would be able to change anything.
Logan was slightly surprised as the door to the compartment suddenly opened, and she grinned whenever Lucia stepped in. "Hello Lucia, take a seat" she greeted with a smile as she noticed the little creature sitting on her dueling partners shoulder. "Who is this little fella?" she questioned as Sherlock sniffed around Lucia's feet. Logan couldn't remember Lucia ever mentioning having a pet, although it wasn't like they talked that much outside of dueling anyway.
The girl found the small creature to be adorable, laughing a bit as Sherlock glanced at the strange animal and jumped onto his owners lap, watching the other animal curiously. He didn't understand what it was as he looked back at Loki and meowed before looking back at the little creature of Lucia's.
"Be nice Sherlock," she said with a smile as she ran her hand across the cat's back to comfort him. He didn't seem to care though as he climbed onto her shoulders to get a higher vantage point.

Lucia had been planning on levitating her trunk onto the trunk rack, but Henry stepped in and lifted it up for her, leaving Lucia to blush in embarassment on the ground. Her upper-arm strength was virtually non-existant, and at times like this is annoyed her. Still, though. She didn't really need upper-arm strength, did she? You only needed that for sports, and duelling was more of a mental sport than a physical one, Lucia supposed. Apart from when you got knocked out. It got pretty physical then. "Thanks."
Henry sat back down and Lucia took a seat across from him and Logan. She blushed furiously when he called her 'Lucy', quickly and awkwardly setting the record straight."Um. I'd prefer it if you didn't. Please. Sorry." Why did people have to go and give her nicknames? First there was Luce, and now Lucy. Admittedly, Luce was kind of growing on her, but still. Lucia was a great name. It was short, but not too short, and it had a nice meaning, and it wasn't too hard to spell or pronounce. And yet, people still gave her nicknames.
Loki, Henry's cat, rubbed himself against Lucia's legs and the Hufflepuff absent-mindedly reached down to scratch his head, holding onto River with the other hand to make sure that she didn't fall off - or jump off, in order to get away from Loki, who wasn't her favourite feline in the world. Sherlock, Logan's cat, however, appeared to be a different question: although River didn't seem to have made her mind up about him yet, at least she wasn't quivering as he jumped up onto Logan's lap, like she did whenever Loki moved. This was progress. Speaking of River, Logan asked who she was, and Lucia suddenly realised that Logan and River had never met. "Oh Merlin! I was sure I'd showed you River before. Logan, this is River, River, this is Logan." She straightened back up and gave River a little stroke, then held her out a little towards Logan, for her to stroke as well if she wanted to. "Do you want to-" River suddenly realised that she was being held away from her owner and attempted to roll back along Lucia's arm. Lucia just managed to catch her before she fell onto the floor. "Oh. Sorry. She's shy."
"Oh, not really," Lucia admitted to Henry when he asked about plans for a summer. Really, holidays for Lucia essentially just meant spending most of her time helping Ebony and Rosa out in the shop, but she wasn't going to say that to Henry and Logan. "I'll be spending time with my sisters. That'll be fun." She smiled, looking forward to it. Lucia hadn't seen Willow since Christmas and was aching to be able to say hello to her in person. "And Ebony, of course." Lucia suddenly realised that, although Logan knew that Lucia referred to her mother by her first name, she couldn't remember whether Henry did. "That's, uh, that's my mother. We call her Ebony." She grinned at the other two and settled more into her seat. "What about you?"

Henry offered Lucia a soft smile to her word of 'thanks' once he finished setting her trunk in the overhead basket. Even though the teen was rather weak and skinny, he could manage to lift a trunk even if it was stuggle to manage such a task.
The teen took his seat besides Logan after he set the trunk in the overhead basket, their conversation on grades and exams seemed distant now thay Lucia joined their compartment. Henry greeted Lucia after Logan, catching her preference of not wanting a nickname it reminded him of his Scarlett never looked nicknames but he usually used on to annoy his friend. Although he won't do that with Lucia as he gave a soft smile and nodded, making a note to not use a nickname with the girl.
Henry fell silent when Logan asked about Lucia's pet and the hufflepuff introduced her pet to his best friend. Loki however seemed pleased after the new person gave him a bit of attention as he rubbed aginest Lucia's legs once more then turned around and jumped onto the side Henry and Logan were sitting. The orange feline walk across Henry's lap who starched his feline between the ears when he did, Loki took a seat besides Henry and the feline's amber eyes watched over the group in the compartment.
The teen shot a small smile toward Logan when he heard her tell her feline to be nice, smiling for a moment at his best friend before turning his blue eyes toward Lucia and her words pertaining to the upcoming summer holiday.
"Will you be attending the camp?" Henry asked the raven haired hufflepuff when he heard her reply and offered her a smile when he heard that she will be spending time with her sisters and someone named Ebony. The teen was a bit caught off guard when he listened to Lucia explain that they called their mother; Ebony and looked over at Logan for a moment before back at Lucia, with a small nod he spoke" alright, thanks for the information."
Henry let his best friend talk about her summer holiday plans first, wondering what to say about his own and what to tell Lucia. The teen turned his blue eyes toward Logan, he already told her about his family situation and summer plans but what will he say that day to Lucia. Once Logan finished talking about her summer plans, the teen moved his eyes toward the window of the compartment watching the scenery pass by before looking at across at Lucia as he spoke" not much, I'll probably spend time with my brother and perhaps visit Logan and some others," offering the girl a smile as he took a single pause before adding" and something else but it isn't important anyway." Henry offed a soft smile toward Lucia and turned to look at Logan, his blue eyes containing the words about his father and step family that he choose not to mention.
