Again, the platform had less action than one might have expected. Perhaps the duellists were getting tired; the duel was starting to drag on, though pausing to catch a breath would only make it longer. Delilah, at least, was back at spell-slinging, aiming a Flipendo at Lea. A smart choice, the first year looked close to done. Perhaps caught between the choice of putting all her efforts into dodging or casting a spell, or maybe just unable to get off a spell before the bright blue light of Delilah's spell hit her in the chest, Lea wouldn't be able to contribute anything more before falling unconscious.

"Hold your spells!" Not that it even really needed to be said, since Delilah had already gotten hers off and Frost hadn't made any move to do so. Bridget took a step towards the fallen Hufflepuff, just to make completely sure she was done. She was, and with that confirmed, Lea was removed from the stage.

Well, it was even again. One versus one, the players of equal year. Though, Delilah had been hit with more spells. Crossing back to her spot on the sidelines, Bridget addressed Delilah and Frost. "Alright, let's finish this."

In a matter of seconds, her small but mighty teammate had been the one to give out. She frowned, definitely would be taking a trip to the hospital wing after this. Turning back to Delilah, her eyes met the other girl's. Though Frost was tired, there was still hope for them yet. She could still make Lea and the rest of their team proud.

It was coming so close to an end, Del managed to get Lea out at least, she didn't go down without making a difference at least, the duel stopped for a moment to remove Lea from the stage, and then it continued, it was just the two fourth years, del was on the losing side but it was basically up to luck at this point.

Watching her teammate fall unconscious seemed to do the trick for Frost, spurring her back into action. It was no surprise that the creative strategies of before, players choosing a variety of spells to manipulate the situation to their advantage, had fallen away to a single, brutal tactic: Flipendo them until they fall over. Maybe it wasn't original, but it was what most teams did when they got to this point, and it worked.

Of course, there was a difference between casting the right spell and getting it to land. Frost missed, Delilah's dodge having been quite graceful, only to be hit in turn. An interesting turn of events; no one had keeled over yet, just Frost was one step closer to that. Maybe even close even Delilah could still win this.

Wait...she missed..Frost missed, del managed to dodge it as she sent a spell back and hit her mark. Maybe there was a chance, it was hopeful, sure, it was very hopeful, she really had to try her best for this one. Del wasn't religious but she most certainly was praying for this one. She could feel the adrenaline.

At this point, the fate of the duel was left to luck. Both of them weren’t far from being out. The duel was originally an even match between the two teams. For a bit, the hufflepuff girls had an advantage, with them having got Robert out. But now, it was just her and Del left, both close to the end of the line. Frost could confidently say that if Del won, she deserved it. She thought Delilah had done admirably well against two opponents. Though she would be disappointed to lose, coming this far just to come this far, Frost could say she did her best. But hopefully, she could bring glory to the Burning badgers once more.

For how close they had to be to the end, the round wasn't particularly eventful. Granted,
both Knockback Jinxes just barely missed, cutting it close enough to elicit gasps from the audience. It seemed avoiding the flashes of blue had taken away from that extra split second to aim that might have finished this off. Nothing had changed, so the duel would continue, but for how long?

Oh...my..god. It was the end of the duel...except it wasn't.. it would've been if even 1 of their spells had hit their mark...but they hadn't. Del had casted at her fellow fourth year, whilst dodging out of the way of the same thing heading towards her and somehow frost had managed to do the exact same.
