Still, he realized that he needed to probably lean backwards a little more than he had, so he wasn't going to give up. Another attempt.

He walked along the Lake's edge and glanced up to the sky, knowing this wasn't what he really needed to be doing right now. Right now he should be indoors, in the protection of the castle's walls from the fiery ball in the sky. He found another rock though, took his stance, and made his throw.

Would that be something that his fellow Hogwarts student would be happy with? Probably not. Still, Simon was quite glad to see that three skips. It was a start! "Did you see that?!" he asked proudly.

He smiled, glad that he had at least done it, even if it wasn't the best. In his mind, he thought two would be sufficient and here he was getting THREE skips in! Maybe Kage was just that good of an instructor.

He had rolled up the sleeve of his hoodie to make the attempt at the skip and now rolled it back down. While it wasn't a cool day by any means, he still wore that thing. Always. It was one of the ways to protect himself from the sun. "I should uh," he paused, "I should probably be going. Class content, it's not going to study itself, is it?" he smiled to her. He really needed to probably be getting out of the sun.
