Paige held up her hands. Yeah, Henry was smart. Did She accuse herself? Yeah, nope. Great question. No answer. Well, Paige had one. "Gosh Henry, you just pointed me out." She said, shaking her head. Who figures questions like those out? Who easily shoots back with another question?

AND WHY WAS HENRY SO NICE?! He was probably the nicestperson she's met at Hogwarts so far. She remembered one of her first, Lucia Fox. She hadn't seemed to be very nice, but maybe she was just annoyed? Paige couldn't have been too sure, though, because they haven't interacted since.

Paige tilted her head."You didn't have training. You're too cool. It comes so easy for you." She declared. Henry was so easy going and chill in Paige's eyes, he made it look so easy. So, yeah. He was just like that. Born cool. He even was super smart, like, who just knows the meaning of names? Him! He told her that together, her name means a Knight in training to trust.

So she was trustworthy. Okay, not bad. She would consider herself trustworthy. That was a good trait to have, she decided. "I like that. I can be trusted. " She said, nodding.

The conversation went back to siblings and Paige was quick to answer Henry's question. After she counted in her fingers. " Kind of middle? Right now, I'm the middle child out of the ones in the house, but my oldest sister is rarely in the house. Ever. " She added the last part, a bit sadly.

Henry seemed to notice, or maybe he was just good at keeping the conversation going, because he asked if she missed her siblings. Her mouth had already opened to say "Yes." before she could even think.

She did miss her siblings. She remembered playing with her baby brother while Ross did the dishes for that day, and she remembered how when Ross was mad at her he would carry her over his shoulder like a potato sack, bring her to the couch, and tickle her. She remembered when her older sister was younger, and she used to do Paige's hair. Yes, she misses her siblings.

Too bad they couldn't be here, but they were Muggles . And Paige was a muggle born, but still a witch. She hated pureblood s who only cared about, well, pure wizard blood. Henry wasn't one of those. How did she know? She's awesome.

Fine. He told her. Paige smiled at Henry. "That's nice to hear." She said. She had never expected Henry to be meaN, but it was still nice to hear.

Assuring.

And, back to twins. Paige could only nod, because she barely knew what a squib was. It was someone who was a witch, but was unable to do magic, right? That's all Paige knew and she was too embarrassed to ask. She also didn't want to be rude by asking, either. She felt bad, for Henry's twin, though. She was sure his twin didn't need her sympathy, she probably got it a lot.

The conversation switched to Birthdays, and Paige was surprised how easily the topic changed between the two of them. Paige turned red. "What? You don't have to." She said, being totally honest.

"How about two truths and a lie? I'll start." Paige thought for a moment. " Okay, uh.. I am allergic to strawberries, I'm allergic to Cow's milk, I'm vegetarian." She said.

Henry smiled at Paige as he loosey kept his arms crossed over his chest as he listened to her response before grinning a bit. The young lad have recently figured out that he always had fun when he was with Paige and even on bad days he could somehow laugh when the two were together. It was strange but a welcoming feeling no less.

Even though the girl was a first year, Henry found her to be so fun and cool. It was odd to find a first year that was brave and overflowing with confidence. Who was fun to be around and always made you laugh when you are with them and have a sense of adventure without worrying about the rules. However Paige Grant was all of those things and more at least that's what Henry thought.

"Trust me it doesn't come easy to me and your wicked cool to," Henry replied with a smile telling the truth. It was true being easygoing or 'cool' was one of the most difficult things for Henry to accomplish especially with his anxiety but it helped when he watched Paige be easygoing and brave. Almost like her energy would transmit to him which helped ease his anxiety when they hanged out together.

Henry smiled at the girl, he liked her and found it cool how she didn't call him a name or make fun of him when he gave the definition of her name. The blue eyed boy would nod slightly as he spoke" and I know I would trust till the end of days," he would, just like how he was extremely loyal to his friends and family, the young lad thought Paige was extremely trustworthy as well.

The conversation transition smoothly to siblings and the young lad listened to Paige talk about her siblings, hearing the last part. Henry thought about his own for a moment and even though he was a twin, the lad was born six minutes before his sister so technically speaking he could be considered a middle child as well.

"I'm sorry about your sister but maybe this summer things will be different and you'll see her more," Henry smiled toward Paige however when he heard her say that she missed her siblings as well he would look into her brown eyes. Blue connected with brown. For a moment of silence. A moment of understatement.

Henry would take a breath and a part of him wanted to lift his friend's spirits so the young lad spoke quietly" I was born six minutes before my twin, so technically speaking I could be a middle child to? We could be a middle child club," Henry then couldn't help himself and let a bit of laughter slipper through as he quickly spoke" that's mental isn't it but did I at least lift your spirits?" Henry smiled as he controlled his emotions and stopped himself from laughing but continued to smile.

Henry nodded toward Paige's words with a smile as he kept his arms loosey crossed over his chest. His words were true and even through he was a pureblood the young lad had no prejudices on blood status. He saw everyone has equals and never quite understood why some pureblood's thought they were better than muggleborns or halfbloods. Henry thought that his halfblood and muggleborn friends were actually far more brilliant than some pureblood he knew, Pagie was one that he thought was more brilliant than a few pureblood's first years he knew.

However Henry caught her slight confusion on squibs and didn't want to embarrass her so he softly smiled as he quietly spoke" a squib is a person born into a pureblood family and doesn't have magic, the opposite of a muggleborn sort of," Henry didn't mind explaining a things or topics to his friends who didn't know what they were. He actually enjoyed it helping his friends and informing them of different things to help grow their own intellect.

"But I can and I will," Henry replied back he felt bad that they missed her birthday so he decided that he would make it up for his friend by doing something amazing for her in the following year.

"Alright," Henry replied when it was decided that they would play Two Truths And A Lis as be listened to Paige start and list out the three sentences. The young lad took a moment and looked the girl over trying to decided which was the lie before nodding on one and asking" is the lie is that your a vegetarian? I can't seem to picture you as one."

The boy would wait for the girl to answer which wad the lie and which were the truths before nodding a bit then asking" are you allergic to a lot? I'm sorry if you are, that must be difficult at times," Henry would listen to Paige before taking his chance and nodding to her with a small smile as he spoke" my turn then," the young lad would take a moment to think about what to say before speaking" I like to do photography, I'm allergic to tree nuts, and my father is engaged."

Paige smiled at Henry. He was kind and funny, and they were getting along well. Their conversations flowed smoothly, and that was a good sign. With people who weren't meant to be friends, conversations didn't flow, they were awkward and usually involved many awkward silence breaks. Paige vividly remembered the many times she had been stuck in situations like that, back when she didn't know about magic. She thought everyone was going to be her friend, but when people were mean, she thought of them as the most evil person ever. Even if the only thing that person did was say a mean thing to her friends. She was a trustful girl then, and she trusted many people. Her first thoughts were never to assume the worst about someone.

Speaking of trust, Paige was pleased when Henry claimed he would trust Paige till the ened of the days. Not only did that hint that they would be great friends for a long long time, but it also showed that he trusted Paige, as she did him. Trust was important, as many would find, in friendships. If you can't trust each other, where would you be? Not in a good situation. It was nice to know that she was trusted.

As the conversation went to siblings, Paige felt a bit down as she brought up the constant absence of her sister. Even when her sister was home, she was on her phone talking to her friends. It was as if she was never there at all. However, Henry assured her that maybe it will be different. She doubted it, but she appreciated that Henry seemed so sure. He was trying to make her feel better. Her guess was confirmed when he joked about making a middle child club, and she smiled. "Crazy, yes, but It did lift my spirits." She waved her finger at him, smiling.

"You know just how to cheer me up. Laughter." She was glad that Henry knew that a joke could make her happy, it was some good facts to know. One must always know how to cheer their friends up. On the topic of siblings, blood status came up, and Paige was a bit confused. Henry caught her confusion and explained to her what a squib was. She blinked, feeling flustered that she hadn't been so sure. "Oh. Yeah, I didn't want to sound rude by asking... " She scratched her head. "I can't imagine what that would be like, knowing magic exists... when your family has it but not you..."

Paige nodded, shocked. "How did you guess that? Im not a vegitarian. I never could be, I love meat." Her words meant something else. As a werewolf, she did crave meat a lot, so being a vegitarian wouldn't go so well. She didn't mention this, though. Even though she would trust Henry with her life, she felt normal around him, and telling him about her werewolf status would ruin in.

"I'm allergic to a couple of things... yeah." She raised her eyebrows, listening as he went. She tapped her chin. "Is... is the lie that your father is engaged?" She couldn't remember if he mentioned his parents being divorced, it had flown from her mind... she was having what was called a brain fart.

It was odd. How well the two of them got along and how quickly they became rather close friends. Usually it took time for Henry to meet someone new and become comfortable around them, however with Paige something about meeting her and laughing with her felt normal. Almost like they knew each other all their lives or deep down were the same... part was true since their both werewolves but don't know it yet.

"What are friends for," Henry replied with a smile to knowing how to cheer the girl up. Which apparently was with laughter, Henry smiled at the girl and kept his arms crossed on his chest as he watched and listened to Paige. The teen listened to her thoughts of squibs, nodding a bit as he thought if his twin sister. It was odd how before Hogwarts, everyone knew they were twins since they were usually together but now no one would know the boy was a twin if he didn't tell them or they didn't know about Annabeth.

"Hard to imagine how she feels," Henry replied quietly talking about his twin as he looked down at the wooden floor boards. His blue eyes examining the room as thoughts spiraled around his mind and his anxiety loomed over his head. However all of this would be hidden from Paige, only a smile would be seen.

Looking back up at her chocolate brown eyes, Henry smiled at her as they went back to their game and playfully punch the air a bit when Paige confirmed he was correct. The teen stopped and crossed his arms over his chest and laughed a little as he replied" I know you to well, mate... what is your favorite meat?"

Henry did feel bad that the girl was allergic to a few items, looking at her and lightly nudging her shoulder as he spoke" so your allergic to cow's milk, strawberries, and anything else? So I know what to eat around you and what not to?" The boy smiled at his friend and waited a moment to listened to Paige's guess on what his lie was.

"That's actually true, my father is engaged to be married this summer holiday, " Henry spoke with a smile not sure why he used that but as the thoughts spiraled around his mind the lad added" I do photography to and want to get a few photos of you, you would be a amazing model after all you are beautiful," the teen smiled at the girl before brushing a few strands of hair from his eyes as he spoke" I'm not allergic to tree nuts but I won't eat them if you are allergic."

"Friends are for a lot of things, Henry. But yes, that is one of them." She pointed out. In fact, what she said was true. Friends were for many things, and was there even a list for it somewhere? They were for defending each other, making each other feel safe, happy, comforting others, making their friends laugh.. to be honest, the list went on an on and on. Henry already knew from the start that laughter made her feel better, and she wondered what gave it away. Was it the big smile she always wore? Or was it that energy she seemed to radiate when she was happy? Maybe it was both, for friends were good at detecting things such as that. It was like a superpower.

Paige nodded gravely because even though friends were there to talk, she couldn't help but feel awkward around this topic. She couldn't exactly relate to squibs, and she felt horrible for them. Not being able to have magic when your family does."What were your parents thoughts when they realized your sister was.. is.. a squib?" She noticed with her friend superpowers that Henry's eyes adverted to the floorboards. "Sorry." She said hurriedly. She looked at the floorboards, too, then at Henry. "For being so nosy." She clarified, then cleared her throat.

Paige smiled at Henry when he pumped his fist in celebration. "Wow, how did you guess that?!" She asked, agreeing with Henry. He did know her well, and they had only met not that long ago when they had decided to jump in the lake. People usually tell people to "go jump in the lake" when they're being annoying, but Paige and Henry had just sort of agreed it was a nice day for a swim, then jumped in. Well, if anyone told her to go jump in a lake, she could say "been there, done that." Then slap them in the face if she felt like it.

Paige was eager about this topic because she was a huge fan of meat. Barbeque was her favorite meal, and her parents joked that she could tell which meat from which blindfolded without smelling. "I really like steak, it's sooo good! And ribs! So so so good! Then there's, of course, cow in hamburgers, which is also good. But steak is my favorite."
She grinned, realizing she was getting excited.

She listened to Henry's question, then she nodded. "Yeah, that and any type of peanuts." She bit her lip thoughtfully. "Well, you can eat those things around me, but you'd have to stand like..." She hopped off the stage, and backed up about six feet. "This far... or no... I have a keen smell, so further than that but you get the point." She jogged back to the stage and hopped back on.

She grinned as he clarified that he did do photography. He claimed she was beautiful, but she knew he was only saying that. She didn't believe she was pretty, and she was okay with that. It wasn't as if she was fancy or anything. "Stop, I'm blushing" She joked.

She hopped off the stage. "So, mr. Knight, you say you can play the guitar?" She grabbed a guitar, and handed it to him. "Can I hear something?"
