The Cutest Snakes
@Michael Miller @Percival Rainwood @Dan Palmer
If the Cutest Snakes had made it here, it seemed that at least one of them had read about Alice in Wonderland or at least had a closer look at the Study Room before. There were always spare quills- since her last birthday Opeila didn't have to make use of the offer, thank god. Sylvain had given her a beautiful peacock quill for her last birthday and she took much care of it. The crow feather she had used before had stopped working months ago.
Another thing that the Trophy Room seemed to never run out of was exemplars of Alice in Wonderland. Those two things had inspired Opeila to add them to a riddle. And now the Cutest Snakes Team was almost there. Four riddles had been solved, that left one. Opeila had placed the little note in a shelf, next to some books- Yes, Alice in Wonderland.
ReducioYou almost made it, but not just yet
One more is to come.
The last place that you need to find, is the room of cups.
Where she had given difficult riddles, she had given some easier ones as well. Opeila had now doubt that at this point, the team had no problem solving their final riddle.
Well done, Cutest Snakes.
OOC:

The Cutest Snakes
Having at last, rushed to the study room, Dan was elated. They were just cruising now! And, Thankfully, Mike had been in the study hall before. Dan himself generally studied in the Library, or his dorm; the Salazar Slytherin dorm in, where else but Slytherin, of course. Though, his studying THERE was often interrupted by Loki tickling his feet, demanding attention. That cat LOVED attention from Dan, and would do anything to get it. Dan had to wonder if Loki would even care if he failed all his tests because he would keep tickle torturing him until he dropped everything to play with the kitty... And that was something Dan decided that Loki may not care about. But, he didn't have to, he was kitty.
Reading the next clue, Dan knew immediately what it was.A room full of cups? It was obvious. Dan had looked at these 'cups' quite often, fantasizing about Slytherin getting a Quidditch Cup that they absolutely deserved all of. A cup for every year, that was what Slytherin deserved. They had the better and most intelligent captain by a WIDE margin, the best co-captain that could be asked for, and the best team. The fact that they were ever beaten at all was utter lunacy.
At any rate, the only rooms that he was more familiar with than this was the Slytherin rooms, the Hospital Wing, since he went to his teammates' recovery, and to drink his anti-spider curse medicine, and the Library. He DID spend a lot of time in there. He quite enjoyed reading, especially about the magical world. Potions was always his favorite subject, and he wondered often about how they would work as ingredients in a culinary dish...
He derailed his ADHD tangent, and turned to his teammates.
"This one's obvious, lads. It's the Trophy Room. We've done GREAT lads! Let's go and clinch this win!"
The trophy room. The room of cups. The prized cups that everyone wanted, but only Slytherin deserved. He was quite sure that Dmitri Jones felt the same way. Despite being an unlikeable, utterly wretched bellend, a langer, a gobshite, and a right nob head, he DID manage to be a pretty good dueling captain. Dan just wished he was more friendly, and not such a prick to everyone for no reason at all. What, honestly, was the point in being mean?
Dan turned to Mic, someone he had gotten quite an attachment to as of late.
'Bout ta win yer first dorm battle, yeah? Be my second if we do. Great job on the last riddle, by the way. I'da never thought of this place. Never been here, really. I just study in me dorm or the Libr'y. Library's much more open, and plenty of books to look fer to help with studyin', I feel like. Anyway, let's get goin'!"
And with that, not even waiting for discussion; Dan knew he was right on this one, He turned around and took off running, bare feet padding as he sped along the floor as fast as he could.
He was quite good at running, after all.If you and your friends were going to go and irritate and be a general nuisance the sailors and fishermen down by the docks in Dingle, you had better be able to run fast. And they played around the docks quite often. Which meant, of course, that they had to run often. And run away often they did, laughing and yelling, both at the poor sods who could never catch them.
And that almost weekly practice, sometimes every other day during summer, came in well handy now. The trophy room was just one floor up, not very far. If they could get there fast enough, they would have won. And maybe have a trophy of their own to keep and show off. And lord over all the other teams.
BOY Dan couldn't wait to do that. Again. For the second year in a row. The pillow fight last year was GRAND. He hadn't been hit a SINGLE time, and his dorm won. Dan was celebrity status for a good few months after that; in fact he had seen to it. And this time was shaping up to be the same come a second time!
