Lisabetta was happy that Horace wanted to practice different spells just to see the effects, she really believed this would help them out in the long run. She nodded at his concern about using the spells on each other and immediately felt a little dumb and reckless for having tried one on him earlier, he was right, it could have gone wrong.
"I agree. I didn't even think about the spell going wrong and I could have hurt you. I hope you accept my apology."
Lisabetta hoped that he understood and didn't hold it against her, she truly hadn't even considered the possibilities. She was trying to consider what they could practice on when she heard Horace. She watched as he seemed to shoot birds from the tip of his wand and smiled brightly. She wouldn't ever tell, but she secretly loved birds, and although these birds weren't the most beautiful, it was still an amazing charm. She continued to watch him as he cast his first spell on one of the birds, causing it to fall to the ground. It didn't appear injured in the least but she still was a little concerned. She shook her head at the thought, it wasn't a real bird after all. She was trying to wrack her brain for something that would help, when Horace came up beside her. She stiffened slightly, not used to people coming up so close to her, and especially not those of the opposite sex. She had to remind herself that he was not being inappropriate with her, he was simply trying to help her out, and get out of the way of her spell, just in case.
She nodded her head at his instructions, remembering that she had read about this counter spell before. She concentrated, almost forgetting about Horace being so close, almost. She put her concentration on the spell, knowing that concentration was one of the most important parts of casting a spell. She moved her wand in a Z movement just as instructed.
"Finite Incantatem!" As she spoke, a red light pushed from her wand and onto the bird. At first she though that the spell had not worked at all, until the bird lifted itself off from the ground and rejoined the others as they seemed to fly around aimlessly. She turned to Horace, smiling, before realizing just how close they were since she turned around. She looked down, letting her hair cover her face as she stepped back, keeping the blush from her cheeks. She was not sure what to do in a situation like that since she had never been in one before. She hoped that it wouldn't be too weird and they could just continue with their training.

When Lisa apologized for being irresponsible Horace just smiled and said "Nah its nothing to worry about thats just what happens when you give magic wands to eleven year olds....and i am no exception...".
Lisa seemed to like birds for some reason as when Horace conjured a few birds he noticed her face lit up that could be because of the rare charm that not all first years can do. But he was pretty sure that it was the birds as she looked concerned when Horace used the Confundus charm on one of them. But this works even better for him as it gives her a purpose for the spell. She follows the instructions and a red light light shoots out of her wand. Horace stared at the bird as he knew the charm was correct it should do the trick anytime now. Then the bird flew off to join the bunch flying over them waiting to be tested by another spell.
Lisa suddenly turned back to face Horace who was standing right behind her. This made blush a bit and Lisa seemed to follow as she moved back. Horace didn't wan't to make this awkward now as the spell casting was going fun. He walked towards the birds as he looked for his next target as if nothing happened. "Thats a very useful spell not particularly powerful but it would help a lot. So what do you want to try next have anything in mind?".

Lisabetta was happy that Horace didn't judge her too hard for her irresponsible mistake. She was really starting to think that Horace could be a good friend. He was very interested in learning new things, he came from a similar background, and he didn't seem to be judgmental of others. She was happy to have met him and asked him to practice spells with her.
She knew that she was becoming a better witch by practicing with him, so she was going to ignore how hot her cheeks got when she realized how close they were. She was way too young to develop a crush, right? Besides, she didn't want anything to ruin their practice sessions, there was still a lot of things she wanted to work on and learn from Horace.
She got herself together and smiled at him, no sign of her blush or embarrassment on her face, almost as if the whole thing had never happened. She nodded at his words, going through her memory of some spells she wanted to try. She had a few that could work, but she was afraid of hurting the birds, so she decided on a spell that had a less chance of causing any kind of damage. She pointed her wand at one of the birds that was happily flying around with the other enchanted birds.
"Colovaria!"
A red light flew from her wand to the bird, instantly changing the birds color to a bright orange. Lisabetta smiled, turning to Horace, trying to hide her excitement. She had been working on that spell for a while, and she had never been able to get the color exactly what she had wanted before. She didn't know how to express her excitement without embarrassing herself, so she cleared her throat and nodded at Horace.
"Your turn."

Lisa seemed very hesitant to hurt the birds even knowing they are not real and they would vanish anyway once the practice is done. She did a color changing charm making one of the birds turn orange. Horace didn't know this charm these were the minor spells he was unaware of as he never really paid attention to learning such spells considering them rather useless. But Lisa was really happy upon casting the spell successfully.
Horace knew this was all fun and games but according to him the first and most important reason of learning spells is to be able to defend yourself from the dangers in the magical world. Lisa seemed oblivious to such dangers the typical kind and innocent princess. He decided to try and show her that if she can't even get herself to hurt an enchanted bird can she really face real magical creatures after all they were here to learn right? He pointed his wand towards the orange bird and.....nothing happened he didn't spell anything and no lights shot out he lowered his wand smiling towards Lisa.
A few seconds later the bird suddenly grew large and transformed into a massive dragon with metallic scales and red eyes. Horace just stood there as if it was nothing "A Ukranian Ironbelly they keep one of these at gringotts....very ferocious beasts" he said smiling. He wasn't scared because he knew that wasn't a real dragon it was his best spell he prided upon. Kreffent taught him this one its an illusion charm he rarely gets a chance to use it. The bird is still a bird but it seems like a dragon to the ones who can't spot an illusion.
Horace doesn't expect her to actually do anything about it the best she can do is run or hide but he just wanted to show her the world isn't as beautiful and calm as her palace. This way either she will learn to not be so kind or she may actually spot the illusion which is VERY unlikely but if she does she will learn something very useful.

Lisabetta's face fell slightly when she noticed Horace not as excited about her spell as she was. She knew that it wasn't an extravagant, over the top, amazing spell, but she thought that they were here to try new things. She wanted to learn all kinds of spells, not just ones that others would seem important. She decided that she wasn't going to let it effect her, and brought the smile back to her face as she looked back at the, now, orange bird. She was proud of herself for finally getting the spell down perfectly without causing harm to anything.
Lisabetta wasn't dumb, she knew that there were real dangers out in the world, things that she should be afraid of. She knew that she would have to learn how to protect herself, even though no one believed that she needed to. This was the main reason she had even gone to the Duelling Room, where she had first officially met Horace, she didn't want to be helpless. That didn't mean, however, that it was going to become her main focus of learning.
Her thoughts were broken apart when the bird she had just charmed, started to shift and change. Lisabetta watched curiously as it got big, very big, and turned into a dragon. Lisabetta stepped back a few steps and looked at Horace as he spoke. She knew that she had a look of shock on her face, and did nothing to contain that feeling. What was he trying to prove by doing this?
"I am fully aware that Dragons are dangerous, and that there are other dangers out there. What is your point with this?"
She did her best not to snap at him, not wanting to be angry about this since it was not something to get upset about. She really did want to know what he was trying to prove by doing this.
